UPS truck driver

One of your drivers almost hit me TWICE from behind because he was driving like a maniac. I had my two small children in my car with me!

One is the times, I put my blinker on to get ready to get in the left lane to turn and he sped up to purposely try to block me from getting over. I honked at him until he stopped. I couldn't move anywhere until the car in front of me moved because of your driver.

This drives driving is completely inappropriate and scary.

The number on the front of the truck was 165073. And this was in the city of Rosemead, California. Around 2pm.

UPS driver behavior

Weeks ago I expressed irritation to a UPS driver regarding his loud, persistent beeping of his horn in our neighbor's driveway. The driver was quite rude, eventually claiming it was "company policy".

Today, 11/7/18, at 11:10 a.m., the UPS driver drove up our road--Orchard Road, Lower Milford Township, Lehigh County, PA--blowing his horn for approximately 300 yards as he approached and drove past our house--8595 Orchard Road., Coopersburg, PA 18036.

This is totally unacceptable behavior. This driver is purposely antagonizing and harassing us and is annoying the neighborhood in general. This driver needs to be reprimanded.

UPS rude driver blocked fire lane and handicap stall

Today (November 5th, 2018), an extremely rude driver blocked the whole driveway behind our place of business. My boss was arriving to work and parks in the handicap stall we have behind our place of business. He waited for a second, then the driver got out of the truck and my boss asked what the driver was doing. He didn't say anything, just pointed to the business a couple doors down, then started lowering the trailer to unload. This required my boss to park further down and when he told me what happened, I went outside to ask the driver how long he would be there and he stated, "I'm just trying to do my job." I told him that he is actually blocking the fire lane, taking up both lanes in the road so no traffic can get through, and he is blocking a handicap stall. He let me know that he has to unload the load and that is how long it is going to take. He didn't work to resolve the issue, he simply just didn't care. In order for this to be resolved, drivers need to be aware of the road they are on and they should know they can't be blocking through traffic, fire lanes, and handicap stalls.

UPS ups declines ptsd disability for army veteran

Really I just typed it, over on my Twitter account @TheRealEdwilliams but ill try to summarize.

23 year employee. Had PTSD my entire life due to childhood sexual trauma, years in foster care and boys homes, father raped me for years as an infant, entire childhood is more of same..

I entered the Army, less than stellar health record but honorable and bunch of silly medals for a couple combat tours..

I start at ups, and over the years I think I had 12 disability cases approved, due to PTSD manifestations in various forms. Again all approved.. pay and benefits never turned off, ever.

Then last year, on April 23rd 2017, after about 6 months of several "extreme life events" knocked my brain For a loop, UPS finished me off my moving me to a graveyard shift and or take a pay reduction. This last thing my brain was not primed for.

On the day I was supposed to report to my new low stress job of On Road Feeder Dispatch in Portland Or, my brain went poof.. ended up curled up in a ball, rocking back and forth, suicidal.. I was admitted to the VA Mental Health ward, locked in suicide
Ward for 7 days...

I dont remember much about the next 6 months.. seems like a horrible nightmare. I do barely remember coming home to find Aetna and ups waiting on me to file the disability paperwork. I tried, with Aetna help, but Aetna was driving my brain at that point, on this anyways, and I remember them guiding me theu and to, to write very short "I appeal" and submitting my claim. Then they denied It stating THEY DONT SUPPORT PTSD when Caused by acts of war in service to the government. Um but my PTSD was not from war, it was from my childhood. Denied 2nd time, no proof.

So this is where I'm at. 5 appeal denials later, oh and the letter from UPS says I can sue them if I disagree... how, you took my money and my benefits.

UPS driver speed

As I was leaving my house today (10/31/2018) a truck came (License plate EGX685) barreling down our 25 mph street. Now, most people speed through our neighborhood, however, this was faster than most, probably close to 40+. She (I believe a she only got a glimpse) was coming around a blind curve before my house ( 3916 Carriage Gate Drive). I had stopped my driveway to wait for a car coming in the other direction, if they hadn't been coming I would have pulled in front of her because you can't see that far from my driveway, hence the 25 mph speed limit on our street. While we have very long driveways and most kids do not play in the street here, there are many walkers including kids going to and from school. Not a good place to be going that fast in such a large truck.

UPS customer service

By far the worst customer service ever! The automated system will not let you through unless you select one of their limited options. It will hang up on you. Then when you do get through, the agents robotically follow a script and refuse to answer questions. If you ask questions they get snarky and order you to answer their scripted questions or they will not help you. If you explain that you don't understand something and just need clarification, they will cold transfer you to a random department. The next department will assume you called them directly even though their system makes that impossible, and will ask you scripted questions as well! If you ask to speak to a manager, they will ask you a few questions to determine which department to transfer you to, again with limited options, and refuse to stay on the phone with you so you can talk to a human. The reps seem to have great difficulty understanding anything you say if it's not a direct 1 or 2 word response to a script question. They are also difficult to understand and you have to ask them to repeat what they are saying, which makes them audibly annoyed and exasperated. It's a mess. Forget the website too because the information is also limited, and the chat window also follows a script! If the chat doesn't get you to select one of it's limited options, it tells you to call customer service!

UPS ups non delivery to po box without notice

I created a domestic shipment via UPS.com on Oct 24, 2018.
I entered the required information via UPS.com. If you do not enter the required information, UPS will not allow you to go to the next step. UPS provides "suggestions" in RED.
The address I entered was a PO Box (Dept. of Education) and selected the "2-Day AM" delivery, I added a signature and delivery confirmation for a fee. Clicked the necessary buttons, and a shipping label printed as well as, a receipt. My credit card was charged.
Took the Document envelope with the shipping label attached and handed it to an employee of the UPS store.
Waited two days. Went to the UPS site today (10/26/18) entered the tracking number to find out if the envelope was delivered. To my surprise, the UPS site stated the envelope was undelivered because of the PO Box address and being returned to the shipper(me).
I immediately called the receiver of the envelope, Dept. of Education, for an alternate address. I then called UPS customer service-twice. I was informed there was nothing UPS could do because UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. Beyond irritated, I asked if there was anything I could do. The second representative sent me an email (so they had my email address) with instructions to reroute. The reroute was not offered by the first UPS representative.
Frustrated, I went to UPS.com website to see if I could reroute the shipment-unsuccessful. I called UPS for the third time. Found out that the envelope could not be intercepted because UPS created a new tracking number (1ZN85T4R1215749028 - I also had to ask for THIS tracking number) to return the envelope back to the sender (me). I informed the UPS representative I was the sender and I had an alternate address to ship to. Again, I was informed UPS could not stop this return and I had to wait for the envelope to be delivered to the sender (me).
Side note: Not being able to stop the return shipment does not seem logical. According to the tracking website the envelope was still in St. Louis, MS. the destination point. Why couldn't UPS contact the driver, etc.?
The third UPS representative stated I could create a new shipment and use the alternate address. I asked if I was going to receive a credit. No, I was not going to receive a credit because of the use of the PO Box address.
I do not want to pay for another shipment. I paid UPS $40.84 for nothing. Why would I use UPS again, after they failed?
If UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes, why does the UPS shipping site allow P.O. Box address to be entered, cycle through, and print out?
Here is the link when I search UPS: PO Box address:
https://www.ups.com/us/en/SearchResults.page?q=PO%20Box%20shipping%20address&index=1
Also, why wasn't the recipient contacted since a number was provided? Why wasn't I, the sender contacted? I included my email address and my phone number. Neither were used by UPS.
The journey of the envelope started in Washington State arriving in Missouri. So, no one at UPS noticed the PO Box address? How many times was the shipping label scanned? If UPS was focused on customer service and contacted the shipper (me), I could have rerouted the envelope to the alternate address. This would have saved gas, time, and money. I would have praised UPS for going above and beyond. Instead, UPS created a hardship for me because the documents will now miss the due date. I miss the due date even though, I provided my contact info, etc.
UPS moto: "What can Brown do for you"? is a joke! I will not use UPS and I will share my negative experience with as many people as I possibly can

UPS amazon order to be delivered through ups

UPS is by far the worst at delivery and customer service, I have ever experienced! I work with a company that ships product nationally with other carriers and have NEVER experienced such disorganization and incompetent staff.
My husband and I ordered a bed-frame from Amazon. We tracked the shipment, and since we both work during normal work hours of 9-5, called UPS after the first delivery attempt (Thurs Oct 18) to schedule a delivery time. The woman we spoke with (which we know the phone call would be in their records) advised us, that we could have the product delivered Mon Oct 22, between 5-7PM. Perfect! One of us would leave work early to be home. Friday Oct 19 comes along and (sure enough!) UPS tried a second delivery attempt - after we had just spoken with them the night before. And the note the driver left had numerous exclamation marks on it, as if it's our fault we aren't home! Pure sign of lack of communication on their end. Waste of their time! We decide not to follow up and wait for Monday, assuming our package would be delivered as planned. Monday afternoon, I decide to go on their site to check the tracking and notice they tried to a third FINAL attempt! So I call them and the woman I spoke with, proceeds to tell me they don't book appointments and ask us to pick it up - I am 6 months pregnant and the whole point of ordering online is to have it DELIVERED!
UPS needs to ensure their staff are trained properly and don't provide false information. Why would one of their staff, that they PAY, advise a customer they can book an appointment if it's not policy.
So after all this, they never deliver and we decide to just send it back to Amazon. My husband calls Amazon to tell them we are cancelling the order, and Amazon informs him, that UPS claimed we tried to change the shipping address and that's why it was being shipped back! They flat out lied to Amazon about why were returning the product.
I am so unbelievably disappointed in their service. Amazon has already agreed to fully refund the item, but UPS should be compensating for the inconvenience they caused us. We are now moving into a new home, next week, and have no bed-frame because UPS is beyond incompetent in delivering product and are completely incapable of providing any sort of customer service.

UPS poor service

Driver never rings doorbell. When I called to complain, they said he was probably confused about how to use the buzzer. I've had 4 packages coming from UPS, 3 of which I had to pick up myself and the 4th never arrived. Im going to request a different shipper before I purchase anything else on-line. If they only use UPS they've lost a customer. Nothing is worth the headache of dealing with these people.

UPS ups driver lied about attempting to deliver package

UPS tracking: 1ZA4205T4250409069

On Friday, October 19, 2018, my wife was waiting for critical medication to arrive, which required a signature. At the first attempt the driver left a notice and RAN back to his truck before my wife could get to the door. So, we signed the notice and put it back on our door to wait for the next day's delivery.

Well, we watched and waited for the driver the next day, and the UPS driver SPED by the house without stopping. Hours later we received an email that the driver attempted to deliver, but that we were unavailable; and we would have to wait for the next Monday to receive the package.

When I called to complain, and told them that the package was critical medication, and that the driver LIED about trying to deliver, they said they would deliver it within 2 hours.

We have STILL not heard back from them!

UPS non-delivery of package

If I could give zero stars I would. The UPS delivery person stated they delivered a package to my front door on Oct 17th @~12:10 pm, but no one rang the doorbell or knocked on the door. First, they told me the address was incomplete and that the driver left it at the front door. How could that be possible and who would do that? I verified the address with the sender who did a three-way with UPS who then stated they had the correct address, hmmm. Twice in the same day I was told someone would be calling me, but it never happened and I was told it would take 8 days to resolve the issue. With all the data analytics you have at your disposal it should not take 8 days to resolve this. You know who the driver is. They are either lying or incompetent. It wasn't until Oct. 18th that a formal report was even taken and I called back to ask to declare the package "lost" so the sender could cancel the check and reissue it, but that takes 8 days apparently, which I couldn't wait for. I have had this issue before with UPS dropping my letter package without ringing doorbell or knocking. Just happened to open the door because I heard something and found my package which contained a check for ~$40K just thrown at my doorstep. They seemed to have disgruntled employees who don't give a darn about the customer and their packages. They need to fix this behavior. If I was a business owner I would never employ UPS' services. I hate UPS now. I rarely use the word "hate". I have had too many bad incidents with UPS around lying about package delivery. When it's UPS I always make sure I am home.

UPS access point delivery unauthorized

I am thoroughly upset with UPS for diverting my package to an access point when it could have been delivered to my home. Why should I have to go out of my way to receive my package when it was to be delivered to my home. Any other time they have a delivery, they put my package in the got damn bushes! And now you are delivering my package to a whole different address! That is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE! I did not put my address on the label to have it delivered somewhere else! You can not deliver someone's package to another place because that is fraud! That is NOT the address on the label, so my package should have never been delivered there! And the place you delivered it to closes before I get off work so now I have to wait an extra 5 days when my package was NEEDED on MONDAY!

UPS driver complaint

I live at 3265 67th Ave. SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040. I've never ever had an experience with a delivery driver like I just had. Your drivers are terrific...until today that is. This driver was so rude; I am appalled and very angry. The package was delivered at 5:35pm on Oct. 16, 2018. He pulled into our driveway to drop off a package. I was in the carport with my car door open. His radio was blaring. I asked him to pls turn down the radio, as I have a dog (who is sick) sleeping right next to where the truck was. He said "What?", I explained again, he then just dropped the package right behind my car and said "I'm outta here, " walked back to his truck and started to leave. I called after him that I am disabled and could not carry the package to the front door. He did not care; he did not bother to even listen to what I had to say.

What I want to happen: to have the driver talked to and for him to understand that is totally unacceptable behavior. I want a note in his file. I want for him to never deliver to our home again.

It is not ok for the driver's radio to be that loud. Playing the radio is a privilege, not a right to annoy and offend customers.

I have never complained about any driver from any delivery service. You can see that we get a LOT of packages delivered by UPS (also many packages from other companies).

Given my choice, would I choose UPS next time? Why would I?

Thank you for listening. Pls let me know what you will do about this.

I do not understand what you want in Category below.

UPS package lost

After 10 days still waiting for package delivery. Visit the warehouse today and I was told the package, that they receive, cannot be found. Every time, during the past 10 days that I phoned (4 time) I am told that the package is on its way and will arrive by 7pm. My conclusion they have NO idea about packages or the location or delivery days or times.

The customer service staff is unprofessional and disrespects customer, while at the warehouse, for 2 hours the service staff mocked customers during enquiry calls and definitely had no interest to provide any service.

What a disappointment from one of the so-called leading customer service companies in the world.

UPS overnight delivery

I had place an order for over night shipping early around 11:00am on 10/11/18. I paid for the over night shipping as well. Then the next day UPS give me an update that my address isn't correct and they can not locate it. Funny, how they had delivered at my address before and their drivers are always speeding on my street. I called them at 12:00 pm right after they gave me the update at 11:50am. The customer service rep said she will contact the store and have them come back out and deliver and she would call me back. Well I had to call them again and complain. It is terrible service that I have to run around and track my own shipping item to ensure I get it on time. A service that they are offering to give with an additional fee. Maybe it is time to use USPS again, at least they do deliver and don't give you an excuse that they can not find your address when your address will come up on google map. Customer service has really declined for companies. They are willing to take your money but can not deliver on their own obligation The sad part is, they person on the phone is making excuses, I do not need to hear the multiple excuses they come up with, just deliver as promised or don't offer that service. My issue is still unresolved.

This happened to me before. And they want to get rid of the USPS? They better not! I agree with you, at least the USPS delivers and communicates how it was delivered, what time, where you can pick it up and if they lost it or damaged it they will reimburse you.

UPS delivery

We received a package, delivered last evening, which the driver there from the UPS vehicle onto our driveway, then left. Never did he get out of the vehicle. Thankfully, we were home and my husband had been outside and saw what happened so he was able to retrieve the package from the middle of our driveway before anyone could accidentally drive over it.

While the package was not a fragile item, we believe this method of delivery is simply bad practice, if nothing else.

The tracking number for this parcel was 1Z 6Y2 A82 [protected].

Thank you,
Janelle Thomas

UPS shipment # [protected]

I made a purchase that had to be shipped to Colorado from Texas. I made the arrangements in plenty of time to meet the driver there but UPS had to hire a contract carrier for the remaining delivery address. UPS had 2 weeks to set this delivery up but failed and missed the window I had arranged in order to be at the delivery address. Instead, it was delivered a week after I left and only a single driver arrived to unload a 600 lb package. I had to get in touch with my 71 year old neighbor to give him help to unload it. This is pathetic. Terrible service.
