UPS Truck Driver bad driving

Today on August 3rd @5:oopm as we were driving on the I-35 highway heading towards Dallas, the truck driver cut me off almost hitting my car with the end of his trailer. I then proceeded to get to the next lane and try to figure out which truck company it was. As I did that I was right next to and he tried to get over in to my lane causing me to swerve. I got passed the truck and I looked in the rear view mirror and he was doing the same thing to another car. I just want this to be known and to see whether he has had enough truck driving experience. The license plate number to the truck is P115845.

UPS A Driver

We have recently had houses built behind us and an alley street was put in. One of the new owners has been getting deliveries almost daily. The driver backs in when leaving he whips down the "alley". I have yelled to slow down a couple of times, yesterday he stopped and had a verbal exchange with me. He said he was going 5 mph which was company policy. He wanted to know if I wanted him to carry the packages up, which would be ok also or to go three miles and hour. I said three miles would be better and his response was he didn't think that would satisfy me either. His parting remarks were that the company would laugh at my complaint and to sit down and let him do his job! UPS is not the only choice of delivery, the FedEx driver seems to understand that this is an alley, not a street and drives out under 5 mph.
I hope that UPS is not the type of company that laughs off complaints, but will actively do something about this driver!

UPS Behavioral

On today's days a UPS driver arrived to our location on or about 935am the address being 642 North Michigan Avenue which is also the site of Dunbar Armored.
The driver parked his vehicle directly across our bay doors and I asked him if he would
Move his truck since he couldn't blocked and armored car he replied yeah sure I'll get right on it now giving me a dirty look and he disregarded my instructions I asked him again to love and he said no.
At this time I decided not to be argumentative and told him he would be reported. He laughed and said that nothing was going to happen as he continued to laugh.
As he drive away he said Lee e know who that works out for you as he drive away laughing.

UPS excessive speed in apartment complex

8/2/18 around 10:15a
Preserves of brentwood, nashville tn. 37211

Ups driver speeds through our apartment complex and disregards my kind request to please slow down. We have a lot of children that are walking and riding their bikes throughout the day and evening. When I asked him to slow down please, he only complained that we have a lot of speed bumps. (duh! They're there for a reason!) then in his attempt to brush me off and stop my conversation, he said he had a 10:30 air package to deliver. Off he flew down the hill hitting every speed bump at "break neck speed."

During a previous delivery about a month or so ago, this same guy crashed the back end of his truck into a tree that had large limbs overhanging the parking spot. Breaking off large limbs and splitting others. He got out of his truck, nearly swearing, fussing, and ripping off the limbs (as best he could) and leaving them strewn across the area. He then proceeded to throw the large packages out of the truck and bump them roughly up the stairs to my neighbors door. Total disregard for the contents of the packages. One was very large and heavy. Again, he drove away speeding without regard to anyone's safety. This guy needs to be fired on the spot! I will be more observant as to the license number, his name or truck number next time, and instead of writing a complaint, which i'm sure ups will never see, i'll just call the police. As a matter of fact, our nashville tv station, wsmv asks for stories that would be of interest to report on. This would touch everyone's heart strings and probably stir up a little more than that. We've all seen this behavior too many times.

I have to consider the reason why this guy so blatantly disregards safety. I truly believe it is because the drivers have too many packages to deliver and are expected to do it all in a day or at a given time. They are overloaded with work and evidently their paycheck is dependent on how many packages they can deliver in a day.

Shame on ups! They are the root of the problem.
I will not be using their services in the future.

UPS ups driver

A big UPS rig almost hit us on the freeway Interstate 15 in Fontana. We sped up to pass him and we saw him with a soda in one hand and his phone on the other and texting with his thumb while driving 65+ mph. 30 minutes after we saw him again still texting and driving very bad almost hitting other cars next to him. Took some pictures and only got the number of the truck; 246161

UPS frightening/irrational behavior by ups driver today - us dot# 021800

Hello! I immediately called and logged a complaint on the telephone (in tears, I might add...). I was told that I would receive a call in an hour or so, but I have not. My concern is that I am frightened to have this ups driver return to my home. I have never seen him before and am hopeful that he is not permanent driver.in brief, this is what happened:
My dog was barking which alerted me that someone pulled up.
I sat with him looking out the window seeing that I was getting a ups delivery.
The driver came up to the front door, but then turned around with the package in his hand, went back down the walkway and then walked up the driveway and into my garage (the garage door was open).
When I saw this, I opened the front door and my dog came along with me, and he was barking. He stayed by my side, but was barking nonetheless.
The ups driver went crazy, and I mean so literally - totally "un-hinged" and yelled profanities at me while flailing his arms - very foul language and did not slow down to take a breath. My dog stopped barking immediately, and at this point my dog was cowering at the front door (hardly an attack dog...). Other than than him calling me a "[censored]ing idiot", "[censored]ing rotten person", etc, etc, etc... He said that he has been bitten before, followed by more horrific and unnecessary expletives, and again that he had been bitten before. The only thing I said to him at this point was, "I can see why"...
Again, I opened my front door with my dog barking, and all hell broke loose. Why did he go into my garage? Why didn't he leave my package at the front door like has always been done? This was a zappos shoe box - not a wine delivery or anything needing a signature...
The bottom line is that I was shaken up all day and have told many people in our gated community about this incident with this ups driver. I have more deliveries expected tomorrow and friday, and I am praying that they are via fed ex... I am very fearful for my safety and fearful of this driver as he is clearly irrational. I am also fearful about retaliation from him. Again, his us dot# is 021800 and the customer service person on the phone asked for the tracking # on the package which is: 1z 976 6aw [protected].

I would not make a complaint because of a rude driver... This is very different - this was a very irrational explosion that had my head spinning and left me with no way to react or to speak (other than that one comment at the end...)

I appreciate your time, and for the safety of other customers, I do hope that you look into the background of this frightening individual.

Thank you very much.

While making deliveries to a neighbor, our local UPS driver routinely parks in front of my driveway, completely blocking all access. Despite being asked not to do so, this driver has continued to block me in. Furthermore, he told me that he could park wherever he wished, and that I could call and report him to anyone I desired. Last week and again yesterday, 8/1/18, I called the local UPS facility in VESTAL, NY to report this driver.

On both occasions, I spoke with the same UPS employee regarding my concerns about the abovementioned driver. The UPS employee in the Vestal NY office with whom I spoke was John Patrick, sometime between 3 pm to 4 pm.
Mr. Patrick's response was beyond reproach. Among the number of words we exchanged, he point blank asked me if I'd ever heard of the Teamsters union. I told him that the purpose of my call was to file a complaint about an arrogant, inconsiderate UPS driver... I did not call to get into a discourse about the Teamsters. I told him the Teamsters had nothing to do with this. His response to me was, and I quote,
" oh, but it does...the UPS drivers belong to the Teamsters Union... these drivers are really tough guys . a lot of people hate us..."
... He then said that I needed to calm down, and that many people have actually thrown rocks at their trucks. Patrick summed all of this up by advising me, and this is verbatim,
"...the Teamsters make great friends. ...but they also make horrible enemies..."
At that point I told him I wanted to speak with his supervisor. His response to me was that he was too busy to deal with this, and refused me access to his supervisor.

Replying to comment of

the driver parks on the street itself: it is the portion of the street where the street intersects with my driveway. I cannot put a fence or a barrier up on the street where the driver is parking perpendicular to my driveway, fully blocking me in and/or out.
at this point, my issue with ups has gone well beyond the driver.
When I called UPS to file the complaint, I was advised by UPS that UPS workers are Teamsters...further, that the Teamsters can be horrible/terrible enemies. To me, this statement definitely crosses the line, constituting menacing.

UPS driver speeding in residential neighborhood

I live on a quiet street shaped like a horseshoe. Only people who have a reason to come on our street, drive on it. Because of this, children are often riding their bike or playing on the sides of the street. We also see a considerable number of people walking together or with their pets or pushing a stroller on the street. On July 31 at 4:15 pm, a UPS driver came barreling around the corner of the horseshoe, heading west on North Redwood Drive, Mankato, MN. He was driving way over the speed limit and there is no way he could have slowed if a child was crossing the street . He was a white male, wearing a hat and sunglasses. Please tell your drivers to slow down and respect speed limits, especially in residential areas. He was fortunate this time but next time he may not be.

UPS truck driver tearing up my lawn

My name is Kelly Wright and my address is [removed]. I would appreciate it if you would tell your driver to stop driving through my lawn and tearing up my grass. I have video of your straight truck with dual wheels driving through my lawn at approximately 10 am on Monday, July 31. I tried to attach a picture to this complaint but the picture is too large. There is mud and tufts of grass strewn all about on the road. If you would email me, I would share the picture of the damage with you.

UPS driver on a residential route

I am a work from home mother of two little girls. I live on a dead-end street (garrison circle) that happens to have a playground/basketball court on one side. Every day our ups driver flies down our street! The speed limit is 20 mph throughout the subdivision and we live on (again) a dead end street! Today, july 31st at 3:05 pm est our ups driver flew down the street, which was wet as it had been raining for the past several hours, turned around in the circle and then flew back the other way. I'm not sure why he feels he needs to do this every single day, but one of these days he's going to hit someone or lose control (wet pavement) and do some serious damage. I fear for my child's safety when they cross a dead end street to go play at the playground or ride their bikes up and down. I shouldn't have to fear for their safety especially when they are right outside their own house. I unfortunately do not know his name, badge number or any of those details. He's a smaller african american gentleman and seems very friendly when he delivers a package, just needs to slow down!

UPS delivery items not being brought inside business

our packages are being left in the car port where customers enter and exit.
we are not aware that there are packages. is there a way to request that the delivery person comes inside and alert us of a delivery so we can promptly attend to the delivery. this has not been a consistent pattern. we would like to request that we sign for our packages at the time of delivery.

UPS delivery driver

This morning 7-20-2018 driver was very rude to myself and offended one of my customers. I understand everyone is on a schedule but when i'm on the phone and the other line is ringing with customers waiting a professional attitude would be nice. I asked him to wait for a moment and he responed rudely. Acting like a petulant child doesn't help anyone. Didn't have me sign anything like my usual driver does. Just asked for a name. Also huffed and puffed when I told him I wanted to inspect the box because it contained glass. Another delivery guy was waiting for a signature encouraged me to file a complaint. Thank you for your time.

UPS delivery tracking #: 1z2ee9401206624472

Yesterday, 7/27 a package from Costco (tracking # 1Z2EE9401206624472 ) was delivered. I do not know the exact time, but it had to be some time after 4:45pm. because we left for the evening at that time. We returned home in the late evening after dark, and did not notice this package sitting in front of the garage. This morning I saw the notice that you had delivered the package and the online message said "at the garage" so I went outside and walked out to the "detached" garage near the street and found the package. My house and attached garage sit about 50' further down the driveway. The front porch and main entrance to the house are clearly visible from the street. I do not understand why one of your drivers would leave a package in plain site from the road when they could clearly see the entrance to the house is just down the driveway.
Fortunately this package was not stolen. It sat out all night. I am getting ready to order a $2000 computer from Costco in the near future and that laptop is also shipped by UPS. This is not the first time this has happened. With all of the ongoing problems with theft of delivered items, I would think that common sense would tell your drivers to place these items in an area where they are out of site whenever possible. At the very least this package should have been delivered to the house and not to a detached garage sitting at the street.

UPS next day shipping

Paid a lot extra for next day shipping of wine and it is not being shipped next day. I called their number [protected] and received zero help. They cannot even tell me where it is! Extremely poor service from both people I talked to on the phone. I even offered to do their job for them and go pick it up but they don't know if the package has left CA or not. They said I have to wait until the package is late (which they already know it will be) before they will even try to internally investigate.

UPS driver safety

location: Neal Road in Durham NC
date/time: July 27, 2018; 9:15am

This morning, a UPS delivery truck with NC license plate ZH-6154 pulled out of a stop sign intersection, directly into me, running me off the road.

This is not a busy Road, and no cars were coming from either direction after me. This was pure carelessness and reckless and dangerous driving. People with so little regard for safety should not be professional drivers.

UPS driver lied

Driver never came to my house to drop my package off. He said he made a first attempt. Now it's being routed to a pick up center. What 1st attempt. All he had to do is drop it at my door. I was home. He never came. There was no signature request. He lied. Never stopped at all. I have a lot of problems with UPS drivers. Deliver my stuff to other houses. I had honest neighbors who brought them to me. I have ask retailer not to use UPS on my items. To many mistakes made with drivers.

UPS ridiculous system to pay for import fees on package delivery

I just got off the phone with UPS. The woman was abrupt, unhelpful and basically hung up on me. I had a phone call today to say I owed some money on a package coming in from the USA. They couldn't tell me how much. I said please email me when you know how much. Instead I got a phone call from 'unknown name unknown number' from a fellow ready to take my credit card number. This screamed 'scam' to me and I did not give him the number. He did have the same package ID number that the first caller gave me. I phoned UPS Canada and got this third person who could not take my money, even though she said it was $1.09. The package is coming tomorrow but according to the second caller I will have to pay an extra $5 at the door as a 'terminal fee'. I asked to postpone the delivery until Monday so I can call in my payment Saturday. I have no idea what time he's supposed to arrive and I wanted to have it paid before he comes. She couldn't tell me. She said if he comes before I call in the payment he can fill out a missed delivery card and come back again. What a bloody waste of time. I'm not allowed to give him $1.09 in cash either. Then when I complained about the ridiculousness of the situation she said the driver might just let me have the package if I tell him I'll phone in the payment later. What a stupid system. Very unprofessional, very annoying, and to boot she hung up on me. Fuming over this stupid interaction.

UPS driver speeding on a college campus.

On 07/26/2018 a UPS semi truck with an Indiana license plate number 2272151 and a USDOT number 121058 was speeding on the University of Central Florida's campus. It was going 50mph + in a 30mph zone while there were dozens of students walking near the road. The driver, who was a white male with short brown hair and a short beard, could have easily caused an accident or hit a pedestrian at 20mph over the speed limit. This type of driving is unsafe and should never be tolerated especially on a school campus while students are present. The driver of the truck should be strongly reprimanded if not fired.

UPS my tracked package containing a gps disappeared after being scanned in

My package with tracking # 1ZW056E80387894616 disappeared after being checked in. It is an Aviation GPS IFly 740. I never purchased insurance on this item valued at $900. however the box had my address and contact information as well as the recepients address and RMA number inside the box. Boxes just do not disappear while in your possession unless an employee stole or misplaced it within the facility. I need the person who signed for this package to be held responsible and payment to me initiated as this is clear that UPS has had it in its possession till the last delivery point. Im very very upset becuase i have always trusted UPS and done business faithfully through you, but the one time i send a high priced item is the one time you misplaced it. Im a business owner and I hope you realize that even though in the grand scale of things you may think i'm insignificant to UPS, well tens of thousands of future dollars of mine will be routed elsewhere due to this breech of confidence. Im hoping and expecting some positive news. It is absolutely unacceptable on the part of UPS to offer tracking, yet not want to be accountable for negligence or theft of an employee working within the Mackinney Texas facility, and expecting the customer to ensure against theft of UPS's own employees. I would have no beef with UPS isf this was indeed a random act of God(plane crash, truck crash etc.). I am submitting the cost of this item but better still, i want my GPS back that your facility mishandled and misplaced after checking it in. Im asking UPS to do the right thing, or definitely lose my business for life. I thank you for your kind consideration in this matter. I just came out of an accident which cracked my GPS screen which would cost me $200 to replace. Im asking for the difference in cost. The $100 being offered me currently is a spit in the face. I did not lose this item. A UPS employee stole it or misplaced it. Please do the right thing and take responsibility.
The serial # on my GPS is #VH16050013. I hope you have it in you to help make this unhappy, vexed and angry customer happier than he currently is, and I hope you recognize the value of keeping me on as a customer for life, or losing my business. Thank you.

UPS the conduct of the ups driver

I work for a school bus company here in New York City (Brooklyn) Today 7/25/18 I was on my route dropping off children about 3:15 pm on Albermarie Road in Brooklyn. It all happened so fast, but when we pulled up to the house on Albermarie Road and open the door of the bus a STOP SIGN automatically comes out for vehicles to stop in both directions.
The UPS truck in question (truck #575488) did not make any efforts to even slow down for the stop sign, as I pulled away from the house the UPS driver blew the horn repeatedly and raced onto the side of the street to violently pass a school bus filled with special ed children, only to stop 100 feet in front of my bus and parked in the middle of the street blocking me from going around him as he went into a store on Albermarie Road and Mcdonald Ave. in Brooklyn.
Special Education school buses all have cameras on the bus, I had to call into my office because school buses aren't allowed to back up while children are on the bus. My office wants to pull the camera chip and use it to prosecute,
This driver should lose his job before someone is hurt or killed.
The way he passed my bus he had to have his foot jammed to the accelerator while driving on the opposite side of the road. Please do something about this I know my office is going to give the footage to the dept. of transportation.
