Walmart Self Checkout

I was at the store 800 West Warner Rd,Chandler AZ between 10:30 and 11:00 AM 6/10/22. I tried to purchase over $52 worth of merchandice, but kept getting error messages. I have over $7000 in my bank account, so to be "declined" is perplexing. I tried several times with the associate standing literally inches away from me, offering no help. When I finally gave up and walked away (without my "purchases"), I got a "thank you" from this associate. I'm having a hard time shopping with Walmart after several issues in the past which sent me to a competing company. This is not the first time I have had problems with the self checkout, and I have no problems with other stores' self checkouts. I will be watching my account very carefully to be sure the amount is not charged to me.

Desired outcome: Fix your self checkout, or get employees who aren't afraid to interact, or are proactive in customer service.

Walmart N. Ft. Myers Walmart security/manadgement

May 6th..today 3:45 after work parked a bike by a tree like I've done regularly for 6 years. 2 times in the last week I've been hassled by security like a bum. Manadgement didn't seem to care, so I'll be going to Publix & Winn Dixie now, the dollar store and Target for clothes. N. Ft. Myers Florida Walmart thanx

Walmart Women’s Clothing

I ordered a yellow dress with pockets on May 30, 2022 on Walmart’s app and it was in stock when I ordered it. I also ordered other clothing with this order. Walmart delivered my other items but still hadn’t delivered this one which was supposed to be already. But today, June 3, 2022, they notified me and cancelled this item with no reason. I looked at the item and now it is sold out. I am very upset as I ordered it when it was in stock and now the two sizes i wear are sold out. Walmart should have shipped that right after I ordered it like they did the other items.

Desired outcome: I want what I ordered: Time and Tru short sleeved tiered knit dress for women with pockets, Yellow XXL or XXXLI ordered this first before it supposedly isSold out. Or I want store credit for the price with taxes for the item.

Walmart Fees charged for canned pop

June 2, 2022 10:10 a.m.

I purchased 2 12-packs of Diet Dr. Thunder soda pop.

In the fees I was charged $7.20 for can fees instead of the regular $2.40 which is 10 cent refund per can when dispossed of. They charge 3 times that so they are profitting 20 cents for every can of pop customer's purchase.

I keep getting the run around that I purchased 2 12-packs for $7.36. Duh, I know that. I object to the additional can fee of 30 cents per can instead of the 10 cents repaid when returning.

Desired outcome: Please refund and stop over charging customers three times the can return fee.

Walmart The online service

I ordered a 39" computer writing desk and stack chair. I paid with my BMO bank Canada mastercharge/debit card. The transaction appeared to go through, and funds held still show on my BMO statement.

1) There is NO RECORD of my transaction anywhere.

2) There is NO TRACKING system for my order in place in my email.

3) It took 7 EMAILS just to communicate with CUSTOMER SERVICE.

4) When I go to Walmart and click on "My account" all I get is ADVERTISING.

5) When I go to Walmart and click on something they keep asking for my email and PASSWORD (nobody remembers all their passwords) THE WALMART SITE DOESN'T RECOGNIZE YOU LIKE YOUR BANK, MERCHANTS DO.

6) I cancelled one of the 2 items and it still TOTALS $205.00 on my bank statement.

7) I have no way of knowing if this transaction even went through after it DID!

8) I have no way of verifying anything, or if these items will ever arrive.

9) I previously ordered an air conditioner from our Walmart here and received it, yet the online system still doesn't recognize me as a customer.

10) Customer service CAN'T FIND MY ORDER ANYWHERE, not even with the order number I gave them.

11) The shipping date on the order kept changing along with the total?

Because of all these problems, I cancelled the order OUT OF FRUSTRATION, despite Walmart policy. https://www.walmart.com/cart

Desired outcome: I needed the desk and chair, but this is ridiculous. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO FILL OUT THIS BS COMPLAINT EITHER, ANY MORE THAN YOU SHOULD HAVE TO KEEP ASKING FOR YOUR PAYCHECK.

Walmart Great value stevia price gouging

The local stores used to offer this 19.4 oz size for between 6 and 7 dollars, or .36 cents per oz. Now due to Biden inflation, this pack size can only be gotten online at Walmart for 9.33 ea. So they have forced you to buy the smaller pack Half size in the store 9.7 oz for 7.88 which is 81.3 Cents per oz. In addition to that the 9.7oz size of Brand name Stevia in the Raw is 6.73 or 69.4 cents per oz. Stevia in the Raw has always been higher than the Great Value brand, but is now a better deal. The point being here, Walmart is trying to get the most possible from this product by forcing us to pay in all over 120% price increase by #1 by removing the Lg package from the shelf # 2 inflating the price tremendously over the competitive Brand name. Consumers expect 10 to 20% inflation currently, but this is extreme gouging by manipulation. (See images)

This is not limited to just one store as I checked this personally in Walmarts in more than one state.

Walmart Online grocery order

Walmart put a hold on my account funds and did not place the order. - [ ] 5/28/2022 - I placed a grocery order on the Walmart app this morning. I went to check out and and it gave the message “not enough funds in the account”. Now I new that was incorrect. I logged into my bank account and there it is a “hold amount” for $172.10 by Walmart. I then go back to the Walmart app and see try to process the order again and the Walmart app still gives the same message. For the next four hours I spoke to Walmart customer reps who confirmed yes we placed the hold BUT you will have to wait 7-10 days for your bank to release the funds. They can not complete the order or provide any other form of payment. Two billing representatives told me that there is a “glitch” with the Walmart app acknowledging it was Walmarts issue but couldn’t do anything to help me and I should wait 7-10 days. I paid $99 for a yearly membership and as a customer or”valued customer” as they like to say could not get any satisfaction with this issue. $172.00 is a lot of money to pay for products you can not get. $172.00 for groceries to feed my family. $172.00 to Walmarts CEO’s, VP’s and stock holders may not seem like a-lot of money but it is to a working family.

Desired outcome: I want my funds made available and my $99 fee I paid for this service. I’ll use Food Lion or Target in the future.

Walmart Walmarts evil return policy is simply inhumane!

On 2/12/22 I purchased a Bissell Proclean Proheat Carpet Cleaner from Walmart for $135. The item was bought for my 91 y/o grandmother to address the stains her new wheelchair was causing to the carpet. Unfortunately over the past 3 months my grandmother has been in and out of the hospital, surviving multiple health issues.

Once being placed on hospice things somewhat stabilized and I finally had the opportunity to use the Bissell cleaner for the first time on 5/15/22. I’m not going to launch into a review of the product but just to say it was a miserable experience which prompted me to return it to Walmart.

After thoroughly cleaning and packing the product in its original box, I went to the Walmart I purchased it from with the receipt. Once at the customer service desk I was greeted with rude contempt, like my mere presence was an agitating inconvenience. The employee first gave me a hard time about how the product was packed and stated I would have to clean the product first before return it. Which is ridiculous as I explained how I meticulously cleaned and packed the product. Then she seemed to take great delight in refusing to accept my return because it was passed 90 days.

I was three days past the 90 day limit, I have the receipt and only wanted store credit. She plus two other unbelievably rude employees stated that the policy is on my receipt, which it is not and I showed them. They then stated that the policy is posted next to the product, it is not and they refused to go look. At no point was I ever made aware of this 90 day limit. Had I known I would have made sure I was happy or not with this purchase prior to 90 days. Finally they instructed me to call Bissell because they would give me a refund.

I spoke with a manager at Bissell customer service who (with dignity & respect) explained to me that Bissell cannot issue refunds for products bought at retail stores. She did provide me with an ID number should I need to reference this communication for future interactions with Walmart.

After all this I can’t help but to reflect on how much I shop at Walmart and the enormous amount of money I spend there every month. A quick internet search showed many other stores (Target being one) that have much more customer friendly return policies. I also noticed a huge difference in customer service ratings as compared to Walmart where it seems that being rude, disrespectful, inconsiderate and hurtful are prerequisites for employment.

I will no longer purchase any big ticket items from Walmart. In fact, I will avoid shopping at Walmart altogether. Plus I will continue to share my experience whenever and wherever possible.

Desired outcome: I would like to be able to return this product.

Walmart Watermelon

I bought a beautiful watermelon on 5/21. I have called the store, but nobody answers the phone with 1 or 2.

When i cut it, it was really nice, but when i went to cut in pieces, to put in zip lock bag, it was so soft, and not like any melon i have bought. I put in refrigator, thinking that getting cold, would make it right, but it didn't. Only had room for one half melon in refrigator, so had to put this one in garbage. I still have half in refrigator.

I want to know if i should bring the half in, as i want another one, free! i am 90 years old, and don't get to drive each day, so haven't been able to go to the store.

Please let me know , if you can help me with my problem. I have my receite, thanks susie johnson

Walmart Walmart store scanning twice

On 23th of May 2022, the Walmart store on Georgia Avenue Washington DC scanned twice the same item (see the receipt) and charged me twice.

I recognized this scanning error when I got home. I called the store many times but I wasn't able to reach out to an associate. I also called the customer service, but they told me to call the store.

I would like to receive a refund for this item.

Walmart Many items on Walmart shelves do not have the price listed correctly or at all.

Most Walmarts that I visit no longer correctly display prices of the items, if at all.

At checkout, the item price is not cleaerly visible to the customer checking out. All of the self pricecheck locations, that use to be located throughout the store are no longer available. You have to be very careful to keep from being overcharged at Walmart. I do more shopping at Target these days because of this, however there are several Walmarts closer than the nearest Target that I wish I could trust.

I agree also as this is a problem in many Walmarts. It appears Walmart believes that we will simply trust them and pay any price simply because it is available on the shelf. It appears also that they are also taking advantage of supply chain shortages to their favor. How easy is it to intentionally not fill empty skews of an item that they only make 20% profit on so that you are forced to buy another say brand name that they can make 30% profit on. The consumer has no clue the games they are playing in the background to manipulate higher margins. See or search for my proof on Walmart gouging, Walmart complaints #2156 on this website that is about Stevia with an over 120% price increase simply by eliminating larger pack size on the shelf but still available online.

Walmart Marketside Classic Iceberg Salad

I have been purchasing this salad for over a year. The only problem I've had is with the amount of RED CABBAGE. They just can't seem to measure how much is in a 1 lb. bag. Sometimes the amount is just right. Sometimes the amount is way too much which detracts from the flavor and enjoyment. And sometimes there is so little that it is hard to see, and it doesn't make as good a flavor in the mix. I like the product. I just wish they could figure out a way to resoulve this problem.

Walmart Loss Prevention/Security

May 18,2022 at 13:49Approached while leaving there were a group of employees gathered at the first exit, shaking personal body parts, chatting, not working . I was racially profiled, the only person of color thatwas approached Once I gave the receipt he immediately say that I had items in my bags I didn't pay for; watching me from a camera. Maybe the register did not catch the scan as I scanned it ;if so;that I didn't intentionally not pay. I thought I scanned all my items. I was asked to go to a room, in which a female comes, both searched my bags; $200 of paid groceries I was then told 2have seat, take off mask& that if the items were over$25 action takes place, if not I could pay 4the items. not understand why the express lanes are 4certain amount of items it should state it where customer can see it or all the workers that were gathered at the first door exit that were shaking personal body parts for all to see, not working nor being professional workers should've been directing/suggesting customers 2lanes. It wasn't my fault the scanner didn't scan the items. been a DC Resident over 60 years, Ward 5 over 10 years & never have I encountered this type of behavior out of Walmart. I've seen/heard some drama, including incidents somewhat like this to elders in the community. I do not feel comfortable nor safe with being told take off my mask in your store under no circumstances, especially now due to covid, handing over my ID, Picture taken non-explanation, nor workers going through my paid/bagged items I would greatly appreciate looking into this incident &following up.

Walmart Vtech phones

I had acquired 2 vtech phones prior to my latest purchase. I was trying to add more phones to my existing ones. I purchased two more phones from my local Walmart on May 9, 2022. I tried to make the phones work and even called for assistance from vtech with no success. I then returned to Walmart on May 17, 2022, to do some shopping and return the phones. One phone was able to be returned cs6114, but the other one cs6124 would not be acceptable as returnable. The time frame of the exchange was only 8 days. I do not understand why one was returnable and not the other. The store manager that I talked to twice was not able to explain why. I called vtech and inquired and was told it was Walmart that needed to solve this problem. The bottom of the receipt states that wireless phones may be returned within 14 days.

Desired outcome: I would like the refund I expected. Plus, I purchased a 2-year warranty plan for this item.
