Walmart toys without parts and break easily

i am a single mother of 3 and live in a town where Wal-mart is the main shopping center...i spend thousands of dollars a year at wal-mart, however, My experience with purchasing toy items has been a dissapointing one to say in the least. All my childrens bikes have been purchased at wal-mart and i have always purchased the higher end bikes thinking they will be of better quality. I have returned all 3 bikes shortly after purchasing due to poor quality... In the past i purchased several toy items only to have them not work right or break entirely...I have not purchased toys from wal-mart for several years because of the dissapointment and frustration i feel afterwards. This Christmas i decided to give wal-mart another chance and purchased a $50 dollar slither scooter that my son wanted. this was the only toy item that i purchased from wal-mart for christmas this year and the only item that i will have to wait in a line to return. Imagine my sons excitement to open this awesome present that he wanted so badly only to be followed by dissapoinment to find he can not ride his NEW scooter because the handle bars were not in the box. The scooter remained in the box all christmas day with an occasional glance from my son saying" i wish i could ride my scooter". i will exchange the scooter today and stand in a horrible line at wal-mart so my son can ride his scooter today, but this will be the last item purchased...i will take my business elsewhere!

Walmart christmas irritation

For Christmas, I received a Walmart Money Card with $200. I activated it the same day, that is, today. OR at least I tried to. Walmart insists on having your Social Security code. I refused to enter it, and submitted the rest of the information. Walmart then informed me that a temporary Money Card could be used without submitting the Social Security number, so I selected "Continue, " but the same error window returned. I tried "Continue" again. The same thing occurred. I didn't understand--I was fine with the temporary card, so long as I didn't have to give them such personal information.
Finally, after a couple more tries to kill the "Continue" button, I decided to type in '0' for all of the digits for the SSN. Then Walmart gave me this offer to send the money back in the mail (All $200 of it, including the $3 activation fee) in 7-10 days. 7-10 days! Why, they already have the money, and now they get to keep it for over a week because they insist on having my personal information?

So I called their 800 number, needing a representative to fix everything and activate the card themselves. Lo and behold, there's not option to speak with an associate! They gave me the same curt reply: "Your money will be refunded via mail in 7-10 days." I suppose I'm lucky to get a full refund...

This may not make sense to you at first; why wouldn't I give them my SSN for goodness' sake? Because the last prepaid Wal Mart card I activated did not require a SSN. They gave me the temporary card, no questions asked. Their activation interface is flawed...and now I can't use the money to buy another Wal Mart card to purchase things on the internet.

I suppose the real message here is a warning to all of you: Just don't buy the card. Try an American Express prepaid or something else along those lines. Good luck! :)

Walmart frustrated by long lines at walmart

On November 3, my daughter and 2 children went into the Walmart in Meridian, Idaho for some photo products. We arrived at approximately 5:00 pm the kids were tired so I paid extra to obtain the photo prints. At 6:15 pm I still did not have the prints, we decided to leave and some back later. There were only 4 check stands open, we had a few items so we went through the speed check stand. The customers in front of us had 2 bottles of water and the checker requested a price check, never telling all the other customers in line that it would be a while.

After we stood there I finally asked if the check stand was closed he said yes, we are waiting for a price check on these 2 waters. I went to the jewelery counter and asked the lady if she could check me out that I was irritated that the checker had not advised us of the delay, SHE SAID SO YOU THINK THAT IS AN US PROBLEM, WHY DON’T YOU JUST TAKE A DEEP BREATH……..I WAS ASTONISHED, AND CALLED THE MANAGER WYATT….. HE WAS VERY UNDERSTANDING AND APOLOGIZED.

I WENT BACK AT 8:30 PM AND STILL COULD NOT GET THE PHOTO PRINTS AND ENDED UP GOING BACK THE NEXT MORNING AND WAITING AGAIN FOR THE PRINTS. You are not that great Walmart! I will take my business somewhere else.

No one bites back as hard, on their anger, none of my pain and woe, can show through
But my dreams, they aren't as empty, as my conscience seems to be, I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance that's never free

When my fist clenches, crack it open, before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news, before I laugh and act like a fool
And if I swallow anything evil, put your finger down my throat
And if I shiver, please give me a blanket, keep me warm, let me wear your coat

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man, to be the sad man
Behind blue eyes

Walmart security unfairly accused my ten year old son of shoplifting and made him cry.

While shopping at your store, my ten year old son was looking at the action figures in the toy department.. He was doing nothing wrong when security approached him and told him he had caught him putting an action figure in his pocket and that he had to leave the store with him and be driven down to the police station!. My son said that he was shopping me his mother. The security guard said that he had to leave and they could call me when they get to the station, and if he did not cooperate he would be in more trouble. It was not until another customer asked my son what was wrong that the security left him alone. Once he knew he had an innocent child he ran away fast and left the store. I have lived in US for two years, and I am pretty sure that this security guard is not allowed to question my son without a parent or guardian:. I went to complain and the manager said there was no one with the description that my son gave that works in the store as security and wanted to ask my son more questions about what happened. I told him my son was not answering questions as he did nothing wrong. He told me that they need to see who asked my son to leave the store with him because he claimed that no one worked there in security by that description He said he would check into the tapes and look into it and apologized for what happened which means he still thinks my son is guilty. Do you pay these people for the number of people that the catch?

Timpthypetrov, child abductors pretend to be security officers, police officers or other people of authority. If what this person is saying is the truth it is apparent that the person was not who he claimed to be and was trying to abduct the boy. If this did really happen, and I am not saying it did not, nor am I saying it did. If this is true I urge the OP to contact the police. I a sure that is what the manager would have done if you had allowed your son to be questioned. If he was approached about the shopping, one thing is for certain that person does not work for walmart.

Either your son is lying, or you are not who you claim to be. They would never approach a child and ask him to accompany them to a police station. Secondly, It isn't "shoplifting" unless the customer exits the store. Get a grip.

"You should report the incident to the police as it sounds like an attempted child abduction."

I think that is what the manager was implying, but she thinks he was suggesting that her son was stealing.

Just be glad that your son did not go with that "security" officer and contact the police about this incident.

The other posters are right, either the incident was made up or he was not really a security guard and wanted to kidnap your son.

That about goes for anywhere phillypower, we even have incidents like this in Canada where people pose as police officer, security to abduct children. When they are in their teens they offer these children jobs but turn out to be sexual predators.

Walmart allowed customer to hold up line

12/22/11 - I stopped at Walmart and was checking out @ 7:00pm self-checkout, and the employee servicing the self-checkouts allowed a female shopper to slowly self check the items from her full basket while stopping inbetween each item & eating ice cream while checking out. The woman took 1 item from basket, scanned it, put it back in basket, stopped and ate ice cream while she took a break from the exercise of scanning one item, all the while looking around at the people behind her waiting in a long line to check out while she was spooning out and eating the ice cream (where she found a spoon is beyond me!). Then she took out another item from her basket (which was full) & repeated. The employee at self check stations had to keep going to this lady's monitor and reset it (probably because it would time out) & continued to allow lady to proceed veeeeerrrrryyyyyy slowly. This lady probably left with merchandise not scanned (stolen) because the self scan employee was not watching the woman while she was busy with the other self-scan customers. Security or supervision should have intervened & had an employee scan the lady out. This was really disturbing because the ice-cream-eating lady (who needed to be on slim fast and not ice cream) was purposely doing this. She took longer than 20 minutes (or longer as I have no idea how long she was there prior to my arriving in line) to check out while holiday shoppers were shaking their heads in disgust waiting. I came to the realization the employee probably knew the ice-cream lady and the supervisors were busy with the holiday shoppers in the store, so no one noticed. It was truly amazing. I know security is watching the checkouts very closely, and I kept waiting for someone to come and watch over this lady and her basket. I will never go to Walmart again -- they don't pay the employees enough to care about customers stealing and holding up checkout lines or they have their friends and relatives come and steal items during the holidays.

Oh, but what she eats is my business -- she is a welfare recipient and it is every taxpayer in America business what she eats. What is wrong with you is what is wrong in this country -- when people are told to mind their own business and do not speak out. I did speak to the employee running the self service checkout and she just smiled and did nothing about it. So, no, StudentZachary is right, I will not miss Walmart.

What other people eat is not your business. If someone told you what to eat you would not like it and with your attitude I am sure Walmart is glad to lose to lose you as a customer. How do you even know she is on welfare? I have a feeling this is someone you know and not get along with. This is more about a complaint about her than walmart.

You should have at least started a good argument with this woman and created a scene. I mean, heck, If you are never going back to WalMart why not leave with a bang, and if someone around you had a recorder that would have been a real bonus: a youtube of the the poor slob getting reamed for being a public louse. Rather than passivley let people ruin your life why not at least take one useless slob out?

They run a store not a daycare. They don't babysit people who don not know how to use the checkouts fast. If they did kick her out most likely she would have made a stink and started yelling at them which is probably why you did not tell her yourself either incase she yelled at you.

Walmart false advertising

There is a Toshiba Thrive 8GB advertised in their online service. The heading of the item says, "Toshiba Black Thrive 10.1" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) Operating System, WiFi & Bonus Carrying Case. When I click on the item the next screen says the same thing along with a line that says, LIMITED TIME OFFER: Bonus Toshiba Thrive Carrying Case with Purchase of either one of the Toshiba Thrive Tablets. $39.98 Value. Purchase must be made in this bundle.
So I ordered the Thrive expecting a case also. I received the Thrive and a shipping email that says the same heading as I have typed above. I emailed the Wal-Mart help email address and after about 4 emails back and forth they in essence told me that it was a bundle deal that if I ordered the Carrying Case with the Thrive I would have gotten the case for $15.00. I did not see that anywhere in the ad and feel it was a very deceptive practice...maybe not to the people who wrote it because they understood exactly what they were doing but they did not communicate it well at all. I am mad enough that I will not shop at Wal-Mart any more and am telling others about this. My friends have looked at the ad and assumed the same as I did. This is not a threat, this is a fact. I boycotted Radio Shack for over 25 years over a rude clerk, and K-mart for 1 year over a $20 coupon they would not honor. When selling something online, say what you mean and mean what you say. I thought Wal-Mart was about the common working man. Now I know it's only about their money.

Did you add the case to the online order? I know most of the time with bundle deals of this nature, you would have had to add the bag along with the tablet. If you did and it didn't arrive, that is one thing. If you didn't add the case to the online cart, I don't see Walmart doing much here. You said so yourself: "Purchase must be made in this bundle." Was it purchased as a bundle, or did you just add the tablet alone? Good luck getting their customer service to help.

They display the product until there is 0 (none) left. Then the consumer has the OPTION of purchasing the display model. And some of the times the display is missing all the peices and parts. That's why it is discounted. They can't put a new model on display until the old one is completely gone.

Walmart received offer for $1, 000 walmart gift card

Received offer to win $1, 000 WalMart gift card, came with requirements to try, test, buy or complete surveys. Had to 13 items. I completed the necessary 13 items. I've contacted freezinger 3 times and also sent them a complaint letter. When I call the 888 phone number, a recording says "Thank you for calling. GoodBye". I've tried many times to get on the WalMart website listed on the information and the only thing that keeps coming up is another offer for the $1, 000 gift card. Other url is not in effect. Obviously this is a scam and I'm out over $200 trying items and return mail etc. This sucks!

I made the mistake of investigating an offer for a free Walmart Gift Card. It took me screen to screen and by the time I realized that it was a scam, they had my email and telephone number. Now I'm getting texts, which cost me money, and 100s of spams in my email. They say that you can unsubscribe--did not know I subscribed--when you press on the links you get a message that they cannot unsubscribe your email address. The report abuse link does not work either.

Walmart promised delivery dates

I wanted this order before Christmas. I ordered this on 12/10/11. When I called Walmart on 12/13/11 at 2:32 pm and spoke with Lucy, Walmart should of cancelled my order as soon as I called them and refunded my money back because the package was still in Chino, California on 12/13/11. Walmart said that the estimated delivery time of my package was on or before 12/21/11. When I tracked it on 12/13/11, the delivery date changed to 12/29/11. I called Walmart on 12/14/11 and spoke to Stacy, I explained to her my situation ad they should of canceled my order. I don't want it that late! I couldn't believe this. Now not only I won't get my daughter's Christmas give on time to celebrate a joyous occasion, but I'm out of $466.66 to go out and get them a replacement gift. I don't have an extra $500 to spend on gifts. Thank you Walmart for ruining Christmas to two wonderful daughters that well deserve a good Christmas this year due to the fact that both parents are unemployed and I am disabled with a spinal cord disease. If the delivery date changes to a later date because it's going to Hawaii, then this should be the responsibility of the company, not the consumer, to inform the consumer especially for Christmas time. Walmart has to coordinate with Fed Ex Smartpost and get this delivery dates squared away before promising the consumer the estimated delivery date. This is a direct reflection of the service and the people who represent this company (Walmart.com). It seems to me that customer satisfaction and close attention to detail is not important and in material. I will not recommend Walmart.com to anyone and only want 100% of my refund back ASAP. I will relate my experience to other consumers when they inquirer about Walmart.com. Very unhappy and very disappointed customer!

Walmart paid for lost items, lack of service and knowledge

Ordered and paid for my kids christmas on december 2, 2.011, just found out today that my two biggest items are missing, walmart.com is blaming it on Fed Ex and Fed Ex is telling me they didn't receive an order for items to be picked up, i have spent at least six hours on phone today talking to walmart.com customer service, supervisors and even corporate trying to find my items along with Fed Ex, for them to tell me they are unable to get me these items now cause they were not available although they were available when I ordered with all my other items and paid for, i have never seen such lack of concern in a customer service department and now I can't have my money back for five days

Walmart oil change gone wrong

On 09/28/10, I took my car to the Manning, SC Wal-Mart to have an oil change done in my car. On 10/09/10, I took a short trip to Greenville, SC and my car's engine went bad. After checking the car to see if I had any leakage or to see if the oil was thrown anywhere, I found I that there was no oil at all in my car. There was no possible conclusion that we could draw to find out what happen to the oil. The only thing that I could think of is that no oil or very little oil was added.

Now I am stuck without a car to drive because my car now needs a new engine and I cannot afford to get a engine right now, but this is not my fault, Manning Wal-Mart needs to find out what happen or what DID NOT HAPPEN!

On November 5 2011 this happened just writing it now because I am ungrounded.

This boy in my class stole my pokemon cards which I just bought. I know because they were missing and he likes to collect these kinds of things as well. When I found him in the store I told him to give me back the cards. He would not listen to me so I started fighting with him. The person female who was working in the toy department had to ask a male customer to break us up and he did.

Okay I admit that a few weeks ago before this I was arrested for stealing from the store and I reconized the person who arrested me and told him what happened after I went to the returns desk to ask them to call him and he reconized me and said I had to leave the store because I was still banned. Then the person at the custody desk asked how old I was because I want to press charges against this ### and she said I am 12 and too young to press charge.

I was asked to leave the store because my ban is not up and he did not help me. He said that I should ask the mall security to have helped because I am not allowed to step foot in the store because I was stealing before. and I just did it this time to buy the cards with an early brithday present money I got.

This is not really a complaint but just to vent and tell you how I feel.

Walmart battery caused classic car fire

December 12, 2011

Walmart Conyers Ga
Case#6448020
Date of loss 10/03/2011
Store #2475

Dear Mr. Walden,

On July 7 2010 I purchased a battery for my classic 1986 Mercedes Benz 560 SEL from Walmart in Conyers Ga. The battery came with a 3 year warranty. The battery lasted only 1 year. I returned the battery to Walmart on Oct 3, 2011. The service manager stated he would have to test the battery first before giving me a refund and or replacement battery. He stated the test would last at least 1hour. The service tech came back about ten minutes later and said that the battery was defective. The service manager and service tech tried to locate the same battery I had but stated that the battery I purchased last year was discontinued. They asked for the make, model and year of my car before giving me a replacement battery. There was a $20.00 price increase for the new battery which the service manager waived.

I took the battery home installed it correctly installed the battery. The car started with no problems . About 1 ½ mins later I started seeing smoke coming from the front of the car. The engine was still running. The smoke was getting thicker .I turned off the car. I went to investigate and saw that my car was on fire. I immediately retrieved my garden hose and administered water to my car. I saturated the battery and front area by the battery where the smoke was coming from. I then called the Rockdale Co. fire dept and they came in about 5mins. When the fire dept arrived the car was fully engulfed. I was praying that the car did not blow up. The fireman took control of the fire but they could not fully extinguish it. They cut the battery out of the car and the fire was extinguished. The fire took about 1hr and 20 mins to extinguish. The fire dept stated that I needed to notify Walmart right away and the fire report would be available in a few days. I went to Walmart and informed the service manager about the incident. He had me fill out a claim report. He escalated the report to Claim Management Inc CMI to determine if the correct battery was sold to me or if the battery itself was defective. Two days later it was determined that the correct replacement battery was sold and I had to deal with the battery supplier to Walmart which is Johnson Controls. Shirley Wanken is my case manager from CMI.
[protected] My claim number is 6448020

My contact at Johnson Controls Battery supplier was Joan Durr [protected]. She asked me for the pictures and fire report. The fire report cleared me of any wrong doing. The Rockdale Co fire dept fire report stated “checked the terminals to see if the positive and negative were connected correctly and they both were installed correctly” I sent the pictures and fire report to Joan Durr. She asked me for more pictures of the battery. I sent those as well. She stated that she was sending this information to the engineers for review and their findings along with hers would determine the outcome of my claim. No representatives from Walmart, CMI or Johnson Controls physically came out to see my car. This process took about 2 ½ weeks to complete.

Joan Durr stated that she and the engineers findings were that a pre existing short caused my car fire and not the battery. All of our conversations up until that point have been very pleasant. I was very patient throughout all the delays during that period. I was however perturbed about the engineers decision. I stated to Joan Durr that in the 6 years I have owned the car I never had any shorts or electrical problems. Besides the battery
I purchased new from Walmart last year seemed to be working fine until it became defective. I asked her could
She escalate my case to the CEO of Johnson Controls. She said she could not. However, she did say she would escalate my issue to her supervisor Paul Keyser which, is the corporate attorney. I asked her what her position was at Johnson Controls she stated that she was a paralegal. I asked what would a paralegal and engineers know about fire? Why not have a fire expert? Joan Durr stated that I could speak with Paul Keyser about my case.
I spoke Paul Keyser([protected]. He stated that after reviewing the pictures and fire report that he concurred with Joan Durr and the engineers. I explained to him the same issues that I explained to Joan Durr.
I also spoke about customer service and quality product control. I informed him that I was a project manager
And executive myself so I am well versed on how customers with major issues like my should be treated. He then made a customer service offering of $500.00 to replace my battery. I told him my car was totaled and worth a lot more than that. I turned down the offer and asked to speak with the CEO.

The CEO of Johnson Controls is Stephen Roell [protected]. I contacted his office but he was out of the
Country. The President of the battery division Alex Molina Rolle was not in his office as well . My contact was his executive assistant to the president of the battery division Jennifer Hanson([protected]. I explained
The issues I was having and she stated that the president Rolle would give me a call. While awaiting a call back from president Rolle Joan Durr had given me a call and stated that a Rich Young would contact me
About my case.

Rich Young [protected] was very rude, arrogant, had horrible quality control and customer service skills.
He stated how things were going to be handled and he would have the engineers look at my case. I asked how this would be any different from the same outcome that had before? He stated that this is the way the process would be handled since I escalated the issue. Rich Young called back in a few days with his findings. He stated that he concurred with the previous findings but added that mice and squirrels had eaten my wires and caused a pre existing short which caused the fire when I put the new battery in my car. He also stated that if I had a toaster to catch on fire that I would not sue the electric company. I answered his first statement by saying “That why did the mice and squirrels not eat my SUV wires or my riding mower or my van wires why were they just partial to Mercedes Benz wires. I also stated I do not live in area where mice and squirrels come into my home or vehicles so I do not know what you are implying. I answered his second statement by saying I would not sue the electric company I would however sue the toaster maker for a defective toaster, just like I am taking claim to the battery maker for a defective battery. I stated this is the second battery that was defective. The reason why my car was burned up was the first battery which was suppose to last 3 years only lasted 1 year. Which made me get a replacement battery that caused my fire. Rich young stated that the $500.00 offered to me was now revoked and I would get nothing. I asked to speak with the CEO and he said no. I thanked him and told him I will escalate the issue myself.

Alex Molina Rolle President of the Battery Division([protected] called after I had explained my phone meeting with Rich Young to his executive assistant Jennifer Hanson. We are now past a month since my car fire. President Rolle stated that from the letter Rich Young wrote about my case that he was only implying of what could have caused my fire and not that it was the cause. I stated to president Rolle that Rich young is not a fire expert nor did the fire report state that there were any burnt mice, squirrels, or burnt droppings from squirrels and mice. Which again clears mice and squirrels from eating my wires theory. I stated that example should have never been used as well as the toaster suing the electric company. President Rolle stated that he concurred with the previous findings. He also stated that this is the first time his batteries were involved with a fire situation and they make millions of batteries. I asked what is the percent of defective batteries out of those million he could not answer that. Which again is bad quality control and bad customer service.
I stated that if this was his car or his wife’s car this problem would have been solved with a new Mercedes Benz and lots of apologies. I stated I would escalate to the CEO and Board or Directors.

I contacted Shirley Wanken my case manager from Walmart Claim Management Inc. I updated her on the findings from Johnson Controls. She stated that CMI pays or not pays biased upon the findings of the supplier. In my case the battery maker Johnson Controls. She also stated that Walmart does not test their batteries. I then stated so I the customer is the battery tester and quality control? I asked for the CEO of CMI she said she could not give me that number but her supervisor was Ronnie Jernigan [protected]

I spoke with Ronnie Jernigan. He stated that he was an ex insurance adjuster who does not always believe the fire reports. He stated that Johnson Controls are the experts and he does not do customer service, he is a claims adjuster. Which explained his rudeness, arrogance, horrible customer service and quality control skills.
What was more deplorable was that Ronnie Jernigan or my case manager Shirley Wanken did not look at my pictures or the fire report itself. The report that came from Johnson Controls stated that mice and squirrels had eaten my wires. It looks like the example that Rich Young used from Johnson controls turned out to be my cause of my fire in the Walmart CMI report. I asked Ronnie Jernigan to speak with the CMI CEO he stated I could not do that.

I contacted Dan Filla office who is and executive at CMI. I spoke with his assistant Linda [protected] ext 12662. I was contacted by Vince Cullipher [protected] email [protected]@cmiw.com. He stated he would look into my case. He though was empathetic to my situation stated that the decision to pay or not pay was biased upon the supplier Johnson Controls. I asked to speak with the CEO of CMI and was denied.

I contacted Walmart Corporate office. I was put on hold for 15mins the first call and 12 minutes the second call. I finally spoke with Kirk a corporate CSR. He stated he would escalate my issues it would take 2 days . This case is now going on 2 months.

I met with all the parties involved. I explained that I may be the first to have a car fire from these batteries I am not the first to have had problems with Walmart batteries.(Yahoo or Google Bad Batteries From Walmart) I explained how as soon as someone has a problem they go straight to the media without giving the parties involved an opportunity to resolve the problems. In this case I have given that and more. I know that if I were the CEO of Walmart Mr. Walden, CMI Mr. Dan Filla, or Johnson Controls Mr. Rolle I would not have had these issues. I have spent countless hours and money trying to resolve this case. I will turn my findings over to the proper authorities that can solve this issue.

My recommendation is that you should not purchase any automotive batteries from Walmart or Johnson Controls. They both have very poor quality control and customer service skills. I would love to meet with Mr. Walden CEO of Walmart and Mr. Roell CEO of Johnson Controls to help resolve their quality control and customer service issues.

Walmart refusing reasonable accommodation

My problem is simple...
(A right that is Federally Protected)
It is simple, I became ill, then I asked my immediate supervisor if she would adjust the times in my schedule to aide in my recovery. Without consideration to my request she replied No! I didn't realize the first time, when I was asking her this, that I was actually requesting reasonable accommodation. My request would have caused no undue hardship to my store or to the company. I ask my supervisor numerous times, and all of those times were denied. I was coached right out of the store with in 6 months of my first request. I worked for you for nearly 10 years, was a salaried manager and was an outstanding associate. This sort of thing unfortunately happens frequently in your company. I have seen it happen for many years. I have brought issues to Upper Store Management, issues that would create liability for the company...This was my job, to protect the assets. After reporting these issues, suddenly I became "Not a Team Player". And retaliation eventually set in, it was subtle but definitely retaliation. I am hurt financially, we as a family are suffering as a result of the loss of my employment not to mention it is Christmas time. Losing my job made me take a long, hard look at the other issues at hand. You know them, everybody does. I will not stand still or quiet and neither will the many. I have read the complaints, lawsuits, mediation settlement agreements that Walmart has made with the injured parties. I noticed that you always agree to educate management, hold training classes for management, you agreeing to do this or to do that...yet still we see the same issues coming forward. Why aren't you taking control of your company and correcting these issues... If you were treating your associates fairly, which I know for a fact you are not, they would not be seeking union organizations for help...they are hurting and you don't seem to give a damn. You can fix this! If you don't it will be to the demise of what was a great company. It will happen eventually. Thank you.

Perhaps it is time to have laws where such managers can go to jail for violations of the ADA. I would be willing to bet the discrimination would suddenly go away.Even adding fines could help.Make it a felony!

Walmart store manager refused to help

For the past months I have been having to dispute a refill at the pharmacy. After three years of being a loyal consumer at the pharmacy and never having any problems at this location for the past 11 or 12 years since this store opened. On the month of 07/20/2010 the pharmacy had a back order on one of my medications and was informed that I will be given three of the last pills and to come back three days later to get the other of 27of 30 pills at a discount or no extra charge.Three days later pills were not available they were still on back order. One of the ladys working the pharmacy forced a transfer on me to CVS or Wal Greens. This month 08/21/2010 after placing a refill online I was told by Walwart pharmacy that the medication is no longer going to be refilled by Walmart. After waiting in line I tried to explaine to the lady working the counter that I at no time agreed with CVS to transfer me to them other than that one refill that walmart did not have and did not explaine anything else or did not want to explaine anything to me for what ever the season. The people at CVS said it will only be this one time after I explained to them what was happening. Also CVS was on a back order for this same medication but have the 30 pills to give to me.Anyway to get to what I think was the worst part of this experience is when I called on the manager Juan who was on duty at that time.At first he gave me a very unpleasant look and once at the pharmancy as I was trying to give my side of the store and he will not let me talk and told me to shut my mouth and that he was not going to help me and choose to take the pharmacy's side.Talking about feeling like getting slaped on the face and getting kicked on the head a few times.Thats just what his responce felt like after being a loyal costumer for so many years.I would had felt better and not felt like I was going to have a heart attack if he only would had at least side sorry I will talk to them or something like that. And thats only one of my many other bad experience at one of my favorite places to shop.

Walmart employee error with cash back

I attended walmart today with my family. When leaving at the cash I selected the option of cash back. I was slightly distracted by the days events and left the store without receiving my money requested. Upon returning home and searching for the money I realized I never received. I did not sign the receipt (as per store policy)nor did the cashier sign the receipt. I called the store immediately snd was surprised with the response. The representative told me I would have to speak with the cash audit office the following business day and if they found that the cash was over the amount I mentioned then I would be returned my money.

The representative refused to take any of my information and kept re-directing me to call tomorrow. Now I know that the CSM’s conduct audits periodically througut the day on the cashes. (my wife use to work there so I have a little inside knowledge). I requested that they review their video and are that I never received the money. The representative told me they do not do that and again stated I would have to rely on the audit tomorrow. Now I’m being withheld from my money because of an error made by an employee and the fate of my money relies on the audit conducted tomorrow.

What if the cashier took the money herself and the cash shows a balance. Not to conformting for me. Anyways I don’t know how a store can keep my money as a result of their own mistake. Even if its only for a day !

Walmart not paying injury claim

I fell on some crushed grapes on the floor in Walmart store 1533. Someone called a manager and they put ice on my leg, and suggested I go to the emergency room. I didn't feel that was necessary, but did see a doctor a few days later. They were supposed to call me about the claim the next day and didn't. I went back and inquired, was again reassured they would take care, but they didn't. Finally, I reached the claims people, the claim was submitted. It seems very clear to me. The grapes were on the floor in their store. They took pictures. There was a witness to the fall. Their claims people say that it was my fault, not theirs, that their responsibility is to maintain a reasonably safe environment, and they don't know how long the grapes were on the floor, whether 5 minutes or an hour. I agree, but it could have been an hour, and they are responsible. I have insurance, so it isn't that big a deal to me, but what if I had been injured very badly, or what if I had no insurance. This is just WRONG!

Walmart I found that a raise would not happen for one year

I worked at Walmart till my 90 day reveiw, (which was good), I found that a raise would not happen for one year, how can they think people would stay there after that? I am still waiting for my last paycheck and still waiting for my exit papers on my quit date. The people I worked with were awesome, friendly and helpful. Management needs alot of work, this I know from exp. in management a feww years ago. I now understand many complaints I heard from employees, and from customers. Thats to bad, This store could go far if they'd clean a few areas.

Walmart being groped by store employee

I was groped by the door greeter. I went to use a motorized cart and the greeter came over to tell me I was wrapping the cord wrong, I told him I had it, and he told me the cord would be dragging. I had the end of the cord in my hand. he put his hand on my leg and I told him to take his hand off of me, He then moved his hand to my crotch and groped me. It was disgusting, and freaky. I got off the cart and grabbed a regular shopping cart told him to take his hands off of me and I called him a freak. Well my daughter witnessed this whole thing, and now when I called the police they tell me that the Hanks hands never went below his waist in the next sentance they tell me he has the cord in his hands, so if his hands did not go below his waist how did he get the cord? really. The guy knows how to block the camera, he groped me and even the Casa Grande police will do nothing... Thank you walmart for the great holiday I know where I am not shopping on black friday.

Walmart cashier associate embarrassed older couple

We were checking out at our local walmart last evening, when we overheard an associate berating an older couple just ahead of us for having more than the alloted 20 items. They seemed dumfounded as to her ramblings and i don't think they really understood what she was talking about and how degrading her attitude was, but we did notice the wife going to customer service as we were leaving. In my working days I was a district manager for a large privately owned company here in florida. If any one of our employees were to have subjected ANY customer to that type of treatment, we would quickly have Invited that employee to seek employment elsewhere. What is wrong with young people nowadays?. Do they resent retirees? What entitles and empowers them to be so disrespectful?. I would think they would be grateful for even having a job in this economic environment especially in florida which is a right to work state.
