I am writing to complain about the rude and abusive behavior of one of your employees at the Walmart store located at 901 Unser Blvd SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. The employee's name is Daniel and he said he was the store manager. But since then I have discovered he was lying. He yelled at me, threatened me, and made me feel unsafe when I was shopping at your store on Friday, September 15, 2023.
I arrived at your store around 11:30 p.m. and I was almost done with my shopping when an employee came over the intercom and said to make final selections because the store was closed. I figured that would be OK since I was right next to my last selection, some yogurt for my grandmother who just had surgery. But as I bent down to pick it up, I heard Daniel scream at me at the top of his lungs "DO NOT TOUCH THAT! YOU NEED TO LEAVE THIS STORE IMMEDIATELY!" I was terrified and confused. I did not understand why he was so angry and aggressive. Normally, the store will give warning announcements like 30, 15, then 5 minutes before closing, but that night they never did.
I looked at him dumbfounded and asked politely "This is the last thing I needed to get. Can I please take it?" Just then, he raised his hand to his hip as if to reach for a weapon and said "NO! YOU CANNOT! TAKE YOUR [censored] TO THE FRONT, CHECK OUT, AND GET OUT!" He was very large and scared me to the point I could not move. He looked like he was going to shoot me or taze me or hurt me with a weapon of some kind. When he screamed at me again, I just left my basket and ran out of there as quickly as I could. I have stewed about this for days even to the point of blaming myself for it. But I have shared my story with a few friends and family members and to my surprise every single person that shops at that Walmart has had the same type of experience with this man. It has gotten so bad at least 4 of the 10 people I have talked to will not shop at that store or any walmart for that matter. So I could not in good consciousness let this go without saying something. I am very upset and traumatized by this incident. I have shopped at this location for over six years now, spending at least $500 a week there. At the time of the incident, I had at least $300 worth of items in my basket. As a matter if fact it might have come out to more because I ended up going to smiths the next day and spending over $300 there. Had it not been for this man verbally attacking me that money would have been yours. This man scared me very much & I will never go back to that store as long as he is working there during hours that customers are n the store nor will my children family or friends. &if necessary I will get a petition with however many signatures required to force him to qt minimum change departments so he is no longer around customers. I know this man has rage issues and will hurt someone if something is not done. I have even been told several stories about times that he almost got into a physical altercation. So it's only a matter of time b4 it goes too far. I'm not sure if you know this area of town or not but it is an extremely dangerous place and should not be tested. Not to memtion no one deserves to be treated like some heathen from off the streets. Or even to be threatened for absolutely no reason I am a loyal member of my community as well as a proud law-abiding citizen and a Avid shopper with you for years including having a Walmart's Plus account as well as getting my prescriptions, car service, eye glasses and all the other services that you offer but all these combined are not worth my safety or the safety of my friends and family.
Then to make matters worse. I contacted customer service through my Walmart plus account and was treated very rudely. I would start to tell the rep what the situation was and they would disconnect the convercation totally after one minute sometimes even less. Not only did they not give me reasonable time to respond to their questions before disconnecting the conversation. But each time they disconnected the conversation it would send me back to the begining or the call Forcing me to start the entire conversation over again with someone else. Showing me that not only did they have zero respect for me as a person/customer but they also did not care at all about this employee that truly holds enough rage inside him to physically harm if not kill another person over absolutely NOTHING.
Then to add insult to injury I tell them that this incident has costed me over $300 as well as forcing me to go to another store that is completely on the other side of town if I want to continue to go to Walmart. Reminding them that I have spent well over a thousand dollars a month there for over 6 years. They want to offer me $15:dollar promo code that does not even work? Really? Is this the impression that u want to give to someone who is genuinely concerned with the safety of her community. I realize that in this day and age you probably recieve a lot of false claims and overreacting people to simple situations. It's one thing to be a KAREN, but it's A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SITUATION when someone who does not have any history whatsoever complaining about anything. And it's even more unsettling that I Was never taken seriously from the begining. Before I could even let them know the full story they were being extremely rude and condescending towards me. I did not deserve that. I did not even want to contact you about the 1st person that had an anger problem let alone your customer supprt department. This entire situation has left me feeling tormented and filled with anxiety.
Over the last 6 years I have spent $15,000.00 to $26,000.00 A YEAR AT YOUR STORE! ( I have the receipts to prove it plus u can look on my Walmart + app to confirm this) But even though I have been a loyal customer to you. You guys can not even show me the common curiosity of listening to what I have to say in its entirety. Or showing me any respect on this matter at all. It's just amazing to me that I can get 3 emails a month that offer $500/$1000 gift cards ( with paid participation) along with many other offers that all come in saying they are to show me what a valued customer I am. & how you guys are aware of how much I spend at your store and u want to show ur appreciation by offering me this that & the other but the moment I try & come to u with a VERY REAL & POTENTIALLY FATAL SITUATION YOU DO EVERYTHING IN YOUR POWER TO MAKE IT AS DIFFICULT AS POSSIBLE TO EVEN HEAR MY SITUATION AS WELL AS MOCK MY CONCERNS, AND TOP IT ALL OFF BY INSALTING ME WITH A $15 PROMOCODE THAT DOES NOT EVEN WORK.
I realize that u might not take me seriously but here are a few of the most recent police reports regarding walmart store from this YEAR ALONE

I request that you take immediate action against Daniel and remove him from his current position. And give him one that does not allow him to be around people or customers. He is unfit to work in a customer service environment and he poses a danger to your customers and staff. He needs to be held accountable for his actions before he face legal consequences by going even further with another person.
I also request that you apologize to me for the distress and humiliation that I suffered because of Daniel's unwarranted behavior. I expect you to find away to show me that you are going to take this seriously. As well as show me that u value my business and will provide me with a safe place to do my shopping. Where I will not be insulted harassed or made out to be a joke for trying to protect my community from obvious monsters.
I hope that you will take this matter seriously and resolve it promptly. If I do not hear from you or receive my compensation by December 1, 2023, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursue legal action.as well as contact the press and social media with my story. Making sure to add EVERY SINGLE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT THAT HAS OCCURED AT EVERY SINGLE WALMART IN THE UNITED STATES. Maybe it is best to show just how low a Walmart can be. Because in my research when layed side by side with target or smiths the Walmart will out weigh them in the thousands. So please do something while you still can. The good people are depending on you.
