Fraud denial
I clicked on a link from a text which said it was from Wells Fargo regarding a charge on my checking account. Unfortunate I logged in and it compromised my account. The person who I believed was a Wells Fargo man moved $14, 000 from my credit card and $12, 000 from my savings into my checking and wired the money to a JPChase acct. I started to get suspicious that something was wrong and looked up the number that called and it was a Wells Fargo number from FT Worth. As soon as I off the phone I had 2 emails notifying me of the wire transfer. I immediately called Wells Fargo and they assured me that it took 2 days for the wire to go through and they would stop it. Now they have sent me a letter saying I did do the transaction or authorized someone to do it.
Desired outcome: They reimburse my $25,000 that I reported fraud for
Judgement attached to home without our knowledge
Wells Fargo filed a judgement attaching a lien on our home without our knowledge. The Judgment was in my husbands name but the house is both our names so my best understanding is they should not have been able to lien our property since both our names are on the deed. We have sold our home and just found out that the was this lien on the property and in order to get the home to close we have to pay the judgement amount. We have reached out to Wells Fargo for the past 3 weeks trying to get a payoff statement and involving a lawyer that was assigned to the case hired by Wells Fargo and no one is getting any response. We were told at one point the person that would handle this was out of the office for a week and would respond upon their return yet an entire week has gone by with no response at all after several calls every day. It is imperative that this gets handled and find it hard to believe that there is no one else that can assist with this. One would think with a bank as large as Well Fargo that they would have more than one person to do a job or assist when one is out of the office. This is holding up our closing and may even prevent it from happening. This is unacceptable!
Desired outcome: I am looking for a payoff statment.
Car insurance overcharge claim
Was this ever resolved? I filled out forms but heard nothing. It was for a loan years ago. I already had insurance. Did file a claim but never received a check.

Customer service
Was at 241 Washington St. Santa Fe, NM and was trying to get a torn taped 20 dollar bill I received from your ATM replaced. Was handed a piece of paper with instructions to send to the treasury's office. I couldn't believe that it was my responsibility and without further customer assistance. I raised my voice in disbelief and tried to show her my ATM...

On July 21, 2020, my husband signed a CA Durable POA giving me the authority to act on his behalf. This POA was notarized and registered in Orange County, CA. On July 22, 2020, I took this POA to the Wells Fargo branch and was told this would need to go through the legal department for approval. On July 23, 2020, I was told by the branch manager that this POA was approved by the legal department. On July 24, I sent this POA to Mr. Garrick Updegraph, Senior Financial Advisor Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.
On July 27, I received an email from Mr. Updegraph stating that he was traveling and WiFi was spotty, and asked that I send the POA to him. I did as instructed. Several emails followed making it clear that Mr. Updegraph had contacted my husband's son letting him know of the POA and my attempts to contact Mr. Updegraph. In coordination with my husband's son, delay tactics were used to avoid allowing me the opportunity to carry forth my husband's wishes.
On August 3, 2020, my husband passed. On August 7, 2020, I received the following email from Mr. Updegraph:
'I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I knew and worked with him for many years. He was a good man. Of course, with his death the POA has expired. I will ask my assistant to connect with you relative to settling the IRA.'
It is clear that Mr. Updegraph was aware that this POA had been accepted by Wells Fargo but decided to delay acceptance by his office as long as he could until it was no longer valid.
Desired outcome: Allow me to act on my husband's behalf as requested
mobilee deposit& personal banker experience

I called to day 9/7/2021 at 10:30am and was told all bankers wer e busy except I was outside of the branch they had ZERO customers at the time.
I have not deposited bad checks
The originator has confirmed the check had been verified. Why is no one wiilling to help me and why was not at least a portion of the funds available for withdrawel.
Workmans comp payment I have waited on a month and wells fargo adds two more weks when funds desperately neede to support family. No customer care concern
Desired outcome: I would like to know what payable at wells fargo ca means when printed on a check.
Setting up an account
I made an appointment one day to open up a business account. After I arrived, this was to a appointment that I made prior to this day. I was seated and once the lady came to help me, I was surprised when she told me that they didn't have any appointments today. It was obvious that she did not want to do her job this day so she found every excuse to not open my account. I went straight to Regions and like I figured, she didn't want to work because my account was opened with no problem.
Desired outcome: I would like it if you had staff who actually wanted to do their jobs.
Online Bank Account
I am a 69-year-old disabled woman who has had a Wells Fargo online bank account for more than ten years. I have an online account because I am disabled. I still work and I still deposit money in my account. What I do not have is a cellphone. At one time, Wells Fargo sent verification codes to my email address. They are no longer willing to do that. I have had to use my husband's cell phone number but he is not always available to receive texts. When confronted with the fact that this was discriminatory, Wells simply said that it was too bad and that I could get a cellphone or be refused service. Today I was refused service and no longer have access to my account. I tried to send a wire transfer and received a verification code saying that it was fine. It was not until I called to ask why it had not been sent that the trouble began. It was being held because they believed it was fraudulently ordered? I could not verify my identity via text so that meant that I was trying to fraudulently gain access to my account. All you have to do is go to the bank, verify your identity and that will take care of it. I AM DISABLED. Well, we are sorry but that is your only option. If I could go to the local branch, I would hardly have spent three hours on the phone today trying to straighten out my online account. I did make a mistake telling them that the cellphone number was my husband's: That made them really suspicious. After several hours of talking to everyone up to an Escalation Manager (who hung up on me when asked what my options were as a disabled person), a note was entered in my file such that I should be denied access to MY account because everyone had a cellphone and, anyone who didn't was definitely suspect. You had to use your husband's cell? That is definitely fraudulent. I now have no access to my account because I can't prove who I am by receiving a text but it is all right that Wells Fargo can't explain what is going to happen to my money. Not one person I spoke to today offered to help me or work with me: The stock answer was that they knew it was discriminatory but that they were not going to do anything about it. No cellphone, no access.
Home mortgage
We were sold as I am seeing on complaint boards of making our mortgage payments 2 times per month and have done so for 10 years. We did this with the intent and were told of paying off our 15 year mortgage off early. Now I am finding out with our loan balance we have been providing all these early payments with no benefit at all. There has been no reduction and apply this to principal. I have all our documents that were given to us and by wells fargo. This is absolute consume fraud!
Desired outcome: Fix our mortgage balance as should be appropriately reflected
Refinance
I started this process in May. I locked into a fixed interest rate that is set to expire on 8/26/2021. My loan was approved late July with an expected closing date of 8/11/2021. I confirmed with the Title Company that there was a ground rent on the property and forwarded the name of the bank and account #. According to the title company, they were unable to verify this information, however, they waited til the day before expected closing to notify the closer, therefore, my closing was cancelled on 8/11. When I contacted the Title Company to see what information they needed. They told me to call the bank myself to obtain the information they needed, and we could proceed with a closing date. I was able to get the information in 48 hours, emailed to the title company and contacted the closest of my loan. I have heard nothing from no one to date. The Title Company or the Closer.
Mortgage modification
It has been more difficult and stressful than the COVID-19 pandemic trying to obtain a mortgage modification from Wells Fargo Bank. I have obtained employment and have the income to pay my mortgage but Wells Fargo is refusing to give me a mortgage modification. I was provided a mortgage forbearance, under the Federal COVID-19 Care Act. However, Wells Fargo...

Dealing with Wells Fargo Home Loan has been a night mare for my client in Dickinson TX. My client and I have done everything Wells Fargo asked us to do. This has been going on for over 5 months. They told my client to sell her current home to buy her future. I did sell her home and now she's homeless! They then asked her pay off current house and she did that as well! Now they just came back asking my client to get more wind storm insurance and she did that as well. My client should closing in the morning, but we still don't have a clear to close from Wells Fargo. The loan officer that's working on this file know that my client is now homeless. They don't answer their phone now or always in a meeting they claim! This has been so painful for my clients and I really don't think Wells Fargo is trying to help 100%. No one should treat their clients like this even if they're not rich! Now this lady have no where to go and all Wells Fargo had to do is just be truthful at the start!
Desired outcome: I would like other people to know about these issues. I hope that many people start reporting this to their social media and local news stations!
Overdraft fee
Amazon mistakenly charged my card and then did a reversal. Even though the money was returned, I was still charged a $35 overdraft fee. Wells Fargo is refusing to take off the overdraft fee. They've done this before and I'm fed up. I will be closing my account and using Suntrust from now on. Such a disappointment. They are taking advantage of me while I'm already going through a layoff at my job. When the direct deposit stopped, the fees began. It's sickening how they have taken advantage of me when I need every penny I can get while unemployed.
Desired outcome: I want my money returned

Desired outcome: 42800
Loan promo/appraisal
Hello my name is Wendy Doan. I have a business loan with Wells Fargo in 2020. At the time I acquired the the loan, there's a promotion including cost of the appraisal. The promotion ultimately had me chosen Wells Fargo over other bank. Misfortune happened on March 1, 2021 and my building was caught on fire.
My insurance declared it's a total lost. The insurance company is ready to release the payment but requires an appraisal. The last appraisal was done by Wells Fargo when I acquired the loan. I have requested the appraisal from Wells Fargo several times but today have not received one. As a matter of fact I was told that I would not be given a appraisal from Wells Fargo. In addition I was told that Wells Fargo‘s attorneys had communicated with my insurance company and that my appraisal that was performed by Wells Fargo was expired. I've never heard of such a thing in my life.
I honestly don't believe that Wells Fargo performed an appraisal and that's why one is not being released to me or my insurance company. I believe that this promotion was misleading and now I find myself in a situation where something that was said to have been done has not been done. Delaying of payment from my insurance that causing multiple issues.
I have considered Contacting media outlets and newspapers to let them know of yet another Wells Fargo miss information in injustice to customers. I consider myself a good customer. My loan is current, my payments are up-to-date and aside from advice to not pay the loan from Wells Fargo representative, I continue to do so because of my character. I would expect that a company as large as Wells Fargo with as long as history that Wells Fargo has would have the same character.
I'm reaching out in hope I can get help to get my insurance to pay.
All accounts in my name.
The bank has stolen from me, used my information without my consent, and refuses to let me access my account unless I serve them with a court order. I've complained to the federal board but they seem to care less. It is not fair that I trusted a bank to hold my money and they ended up giving it away. Now my district attorneys have their hands full and I'm trying to handle this in a civilized matter. The commercial branches are not licensed and I was told yesterday the the employees are a federal agency. If I'm not mistaking they are impersonating a bank and misrepresenting Wells Fargo. And under no legal authority can they refuse my access to my own money and accounts.
Desired outcome: Whatever consequence is written in a law.
Business checking
My checking account of 25 years was closed during the COVID lockdown. I had $8000 dollars billed out, but since nobody was there to write the check, it came in 3 months late. When I took the check and a couple smaller checks, they took the cash and smaller checks to pay my $300 overdraft and told me my account was closed. They refused to open it, but they asked if there was some quarantine assistance to whoever it was on the phone. I was told no. If it was closed why did they take enough of my money to clear the overdraft? This was 2019 and I'll never forget that. What a way to take care of a customer trying to put a decent amount of money in your bank! I used the Inverness branch in Birmingham. Because of the virus I had to go to Vestavia.
Desired outcome: Open my account like it was.
online banking
Have not been able to gain access to my account because Wells says I have two accounts and they can not be joined. Told a credit card and checking exist. I have made several attempts to resolve on phone. Final answer: I must go to a Bank to resolve the problem. I do not want a credit card, never did, don't use it. It's a liability (if stolen) to me. I did not create this problem, Wells did. I need to get to my money. Only Wells is benefitting by this account. Even though I did not start the problem I am charged with it's resolution. I am 70 and handicapped, why not have someone at Wells take time out of their busy day and come to me, I'm told the branch is close, to resolve this and restore access to the money in my account is returned to it's owner - ME! Thanks. [protected]@aol.com [protected]
Desired outcome: Wells can resolve this rather than insist I do. They created the problem.
Discontinuous line of credit
My wife and I will be pulling our 7 figure portfolio and checking/savings accounts from Wells Fargo.
Wells has been following a very liberal agenda, embracing LBGTs and any minority groups that fits their narrative.
The latest Wells Fargo decision to discontinue their LINE OF CREDIT directly attacks middle class Americans.
Home equity department
My name is Valerie Tonnah and on June 7th, 2021, I received a letter from Wells Fargo Home Equity Dept. acct. no ending in [protected] detailing options to keep the home. Included in the options is the Settlement option in addition to Loan Modification, Repayment Plan, and Reinstatement. I am not interested in a loan modification and on June 29th, 2021, I spoke with Beth O'Conner and I offered to pay $36, 000 to settle this loan of 39800. I sold my Zoom stock in my IRA acct due to the letter telling me that you could change my locks or sell my property. Beth O'Connor told me she would call me back in 2 days but did not call me back. Instead, I received a call from Susan in the Home Equity Dept. on June 30th saying I must comply with a loan modification to settle the account. I again told her I have no interest in a loan modification and only want to pay off the loan. This is the same Susan that blind transferred me to Daniel in the mortgage dept on [protected]. Today, 7-6-21, I received a loan modification package from Susan so I called and spoke with Beth O'Connor who now says I don't qualify for a settlement. Why are blacks not given the same options as whites in settling a loan?
Desired outcome: I want to settle this loan and I do not want to apply for a loan modification.
