Verification of identity
I am writing to complain about your verification process for payment. I have used wish for a few years and after receiving a new debit card I have been asked to verify my identity by photographing my drivers license. I do not have a drivers license and would not do so anyway as my bank has told me this is highly suspicious behaviour. I have no problem using my card elsewhere. What is the meaning of this? I suspect it is to capture my data for unethical purposes. If I am wrong then let me just buy what I ordered. Not happy at all.

I placed an order for a Cat interactive laser toy on May 3, 2020. I still do not have it and every time I email customer support I get the runaround. They can never tell me where the item is they just assure me it will be here the following month. They must pay people to give fake reviews on how they receive their items early because I also ordered three other items on May 3, 2020, and received them throughout July! They advertise "if you can wait 2 weeks" what a pitiful scam if people would read these reviews first then I'm sure they would not place an order! I have been requesting a refund but to no avail. They sure take their money immediately then screw their customers and hide behind emails and avoid voice calls. This has been a hard lesson learned.

Back in February I placed an order for a few items from Wish totaling about $50.
They were supposed to arrive in March/April. Then Covid happened, and I had to move. The number of the card I purchased with also changed.
My past address forwarded any mail I got, and guess what? No Wish items.
By the time I realized the packages were not coming it was May, as every time I went online to the HelpBot I got no help. I tried to contact about refunds but was told to contact customer support, so I did. It took three emails for them to respond. I explained the situation, including my card and address change. I provided proof of everything they asked. Order numbers, screenshots, etc. Then I was given the runaround. It is now. SEPTEMBER and now they tell me I will not be getting a refund because it is past 30 days from when I ordered? It took 30 days before I realized the packages were not arriving. They refuse to reimburse me or compensate me in any way, shape, or form.
I have email correspondence dating back to June. Not once did they say anything about the 30-day issue.
I want either a refund or some other form of compensation.

The latest of the items was supposed to be delivered AT THE LATEST on April 30, 2020. It is now June 4, 2020. This is a problem, as I no longer reside at the address listed for delivery.
I would like either my items delivered to my new address, OR a full refund. However, the money cannot be refunded to the card used for purchase as that card is expired and I now have a new card and number. Either way, I have neither the items, nor the money I paid, which is very frustrating.

Unfortunately, what happened was instead of "creating a ticket" or even contacting support, what happens is the site tried to immediately refund the item, which will not work as my card number has changed. Since that first time, I have refrained from trying again in, especially after the site deemed the problem solved and removed the item in question from my view.

I am furious.

Wish Customer Support — Hello Crissa.
First of all, the orders were made in FEBRUARY and were not set to arrive until a month or more later (as you can see in the photos in my earlier emails). By the time I realized they were not arriving, it had already passed that 30-day time frame.
Before I sent these emails I complained via the help assistant, which offered the refund, but as I no longer had that card number that would not work. This is why I sent the emails. Not to mention I had to send 3 emails before I was given a response!
I sent proof of my order on June 4.
Not to mention that I sent you proof of the order within 30 days of when you requested it (June 5 - June 30).
After I provided proof I was given the runaround and told to go through the site, which I explained multiple times would not work because my card number has changed and I have since moved since all of this started.
I am out roughly $50.
What do you expect me to do?
I would like either a refund, the items I purchased, or some form of compensation.

I ordered items in May, It is now September and the delivery just keeps getting pushed back. I have received many items throughout Covid-19, a small delay, sure. Not this long though! You cannot contact anyone at WISH, nor can I cancel and be refunded, like what?

I do not understand what I wrong with wish account, whenever I want to make payment, the message of denial shows requsting me to visit customer help site or wish.com/payment-issue. Several items purchased since April 2020. They keep sending newer delivery dates and I repeatedly asked them to refund my money or I will report them for fraudulent practices. Nothing!
