meat department
Hi
I am writing to you in regards to your meat department.
I am from Singleton NSW, and have shopped in your store for over 20 years. I have never had had an issue with any of your produce and have always been happy with what I buy.
In the last 4 months I have realised you no longer have a butcher working within the store and all your meat is vacuumed pack. The meat, to be honest, has become horrible to the point my husband and children now refuse to eat it. I would normally spend at least $120 a week on meat products and I am now having shop else where.
I am not a person that would write a complaint but I thought you should be aware what is happening within your store.
catalogue distribution.
We live in Toowoomba Qld. 4350 and have a problem regarding your catalogues. The problem is we haven't received one for almost three months.I do not believe any of our neighbours have received one either. We used to receive all the supermarket catalogues [Coles, Aldi and IGA] but now get absolutely none. Not really interested in the others as we only shop at Woolworths Kearneys Spring. We have contacted the store and i am sure they have done there best but still no catalogue.Someone is getting paid to do a job and simply not doing it.We would just like our Woolies catalogue in the mailbox each week. Many thanks Rick & Carolyn Mallitt, 1 Lobwein Court, Middle Ridge, Qld.4350.

Hi,
Recently I lit a cigarette and could workout why is was so hard to smoke. I ended up putting it out half way through to look over it. Once I done this I realized that the paper that wraps the filter did not meet and form a Seal. So it was in smokeable. I added two photos that I thought you would need.
Just thought that you needed to know this
Thanks for your time susan

Lined up at checkouts in Emerald QLD new store at 2.45pm only 2 checkouts open and at least 3-4 customers lined up at each. Can't complain about customer service as there was none. Also a lot of empty shelves. Fresh bread only had a few loaves to choose from. Milk didn't have much use by on bottles. We travel from out of town and need to buy in bulk only 5 days use by
woolworths mobile
I am a current customer of Woolworths Mobile and have been for 3+ years with no issues. I upgraded my handset last week (Tuesday 18th June) and the website said 48hr delivery. 48hrs later no phone. Called customer service to be told that is was 48hrs from processing time. Finally received confirmation it was sent 20th June. To arrive last Friday 21/6. Made the address my work address. Waited for delivery. Nothing. Did a track and trace to be told "unsuccessful delivery". Called customer service, told it was a star track thing. Called star track, they said it was a sender issue and contact them. Called customer service again to be told "don't worry, it will go to the post office awaiting collection" Went to the post office. Hadn't been dropped of yet. This was Friday afternoon and I had an appointment and couldn't wait so made arrangements to collect Monday. Went to the post office today to be told it was collected by Star Track to be sent back to the sender. Called the sender. Doesn't know anything about the collection but will send an email to star track and await a response. When asked how long that will take, Answer - They usually respond between 24-48hours. What should I do in the meantime? WAIT.
I have no phone (broken) so have needed to borrow a crap one from a friend to get by, I am paying for a phone I don't have, and don't know when I will get it or any information as to why it hasn't arrived and when it may arrive. Asked if another could be dispatched to me in its place - NO! Need to wait for a reply.
Resolution - Deliver me a phone that I ordered.
Ridiculous!
I will await your reply
earn and learn
Shopping at my local store and did not recieve my earn and learn stickers. Told they ran out and tok deal with it.
Horrified to not be able to put in a complaint and when said they would ring back never did. I have been hung up on and the phone has rung out. Glad i did not hold my breath.
Why should i shop with woolwhorths? Very poor customer service. You dont care about your customers you only care about the money you make.
checkout service marrickville metro
I was in a checkout line for 35mins at marrickville metro today. I realised 10mins into my wait I was in a very slow line. However nothing I could do.
My service person rose should not be serving at this time, she was slow blaming how busy it was and generally slow.
Should u look at her times to others on the full amount of checkouts opened it will be eveident that it was at least a double wait.
Please remove this assistant of ur most busy time.

staff
I think Woolworths need to be doing Training & PD as your store cnr Hay St & Ultimo Rd employs staff that hardly speak english, don't understand english, are never on the floor to assist and when you do enter off limits staff areas & find someone they don't know what you stock, or carry, nor where any product is & this isnt the first time this has happened to me - very frustrating all i wanted was parmesean cheese, fresh pasta, capers, smoked salmon now of which you seem to carry according to two of your staff who had no idea what it was i wanted were looking in the minced meat & bread area, so i gave up & left! I'll call into Coles on the way home
rude employee
Hi
I've been a Woolworths shopper at Niddrie for years now and never experience such an uninterested and rude employee than this morning 10.00am 20/6/19 . How it started was when I ask the person in charge of self services and mind you know one was there that time of morning where i could find an item which I had on my phone which she wouldn't look at, her response was what item I explained again the item again her reply was to wait at the counter and she will get someone so eventually had a nice young girl had guided me to where it was . Once i finished my shopping I used the self serve like I always do she came over and made a statement and said make sure you do this make sure you do that in an abrupt voice so it made her job easier and not always coming over . I'm thinking by that time how rude so naturally the machine didn't recognise an item for some reason and I said I followed your instructions she reply you mustn't have she fixed the machine and turned her back, how rude so I left it at that but I couldn't help myself when I finished and walked away turned around and saw that she was being relieved by someone I knew and I told her what happened her reply was she normally isn't that bad but is normally abrupt and she hadn't had a break since she started at 6.30am. I know if I were to treat my customers like that I would be reprimanded in some way . This is just some feedback and maybe some employees need some refresher training in customers service . The employee name is Joanne Brady . Cheers
product complaint
My 90 year old father in law recently purchased one of your Spicy Fruit Loaf's from your Woolworths Rockingham store in Western Australia, this is something he enjoys and purchases on a weekly basis. Photos attached. The problem is. Is that as he stated, " where was the fruit in the fruit loaf?", minimal amount off fruit in the photo, and throughout the loaf, I'm not photographing each slice, there was very little evidence off fruit in the loaf. I don't know if this is the way Woolworths maintains their pricing by reducing the quantity and quality off fruit in your products, if so I would suggest you change the name or state that the fruit has been reduced to less than the stated 24%.
He's not happy or impressed with this as he is a shareholder in Woolworths.
I hope something can be done about this.
I thank you in advance.
Many thanks
D. Martin
unsafe and feral looking stairway - side entrance to bermagui nsw store 18/06/19
The young street stairway entrance is in a deplorable condition with the garden overgrown, rubbish everywhere with the grass area chewed up and staked off with ropes? The steps lost their rubber grips last year and it appears there is no cleaning done. Further down the steps there is a broken chair lying there with more rubbish about. I have complained personally to the manager and on three occasions complained on the website. Assistant manager rang me months ago and assured me that the contractors would clean it up. I live opposite and am making the complaint on behalf of several of my neighbours who relate same issue. One neighbour suffering a fall on the steps last year which I believe was reported to store management.
service desk staff
Dear Sir/Madam
The service staff that I came across tonight at the Bundoora Square store (near Plenty Rd) in Bundoora Vic was rude and disrespectful. I have encountered this young woman before .
She is a tall young blonde and she has lied to me in the past when I have asked her a question and has been obnoxious towards me ever since.
Tonight, I didn't want to pay for my items via the self-serve facility and I said to her that I wanted to pay for them at the service desk (it was 10.40pm). She said that I couldn't, as it was too close to closing time. I left the 2 items on the service desk and she said "I don't care".
I believe that this young woman needs more training to change her attitude towards customers.
I have been in the Coles store that is about 300 metres away and they are always much busier than the Bundoora store, so maybe the attitude at the Bundoora is part of the reason why.
Kind regards
Andrew Bibby
customer service
I'm from warrnambool and have moved from dennington to east warrnambool, so I have changed stores to shop at, i now shop at east. This is the second time I have had an issue in the east store. Both times I have gone to the deli and asked for the bacon down the front. 1st time the lady argued with me about it. 2ed time she carried on about how it wrecked their display. Sorry if I'm wrong but I'm the one paying and eating this product and should not be made to feel uncomfortable and like it's a big hassle in the store.
I use to shop at dennington store where you get greeted with a smile and happy to help a customer. To east where everything is a hassle and they think it s ok to argue with customers over something so small. Completely different atmosphere. I will be now going back to the dennington store and I will not step foot into the east store. It's disgusting that the workers in the store think it's ok to talk to customers in that manner.
fruit... packham pears
Store...Victor Harbor South Australia.
On the last two visits to your store in Victor Harbor in order to do our weekly shop, we noticed that the Packham pears in the fruit & veg. section were of very pour quality. It is a disgrace that you expect people to purchase this sub-standard fruit. The pears were badly marked, small & many were yellow. To call yourselves the 'fresh food people' is a joke.
So what did we do...we went to Coles. Their pears were large, green & crisp, & for the same price. So that is where we will do our fruit & veg. shopping in the future.
Dates visited your Victor Harbor store; 7 June, 24 May.

sushi
I am writing in regards to sushi my partner bought and how unimpressed I was after eating a sushi which I reacted to as my partner was misled by the sushi names.
My partner bought 2 sushi rolls 1. Chicken Roll 2. Crunchy Roll.
He had a choice between a Tuna Roll, Chicken Roll and Crunchy Roll. With knowledge I am allergic to fish he chose the last two. Considering the first roll was a "Tuna Roll" he made a fair assumption that the "Crunchy Roll" wouldn't have fish.
He served the sushi to me for dinner and I went for one of the "crunchy roll" pieces. After biting into one piece, I started having a reaction.
Although, the allergens were labelled in small text underneath- my partner was misled by the label "Crunchy Roll" in big writing. Considering the amount of fish that was in the sushi roll, the sushi should reflect this and be a "Crunchy Fish Roll". I am extremely unimpressed by this misadventure.

Jason

woolworths truck driver
I live in Morningside in Brisbane and travel to work at Brendale between 5.30 and 6.10am Monday to Friday. On Friday 7/6/2019 I was about to turn left at a left turn filter located at the intersection of Bridgeman Downs Rd and Linkfield road. I stopped at the left turn lane to check to my right and saw a concrete truck approaching as the traffic lights on Linkfield road were turning red. The concrete truck failed to stop and crossed the intersection through the red light but worse than that, a Woolworths semi trailer which was behind the concrete truck then also drove through the intersection. My thought was that whilst it may have been difficult for the concrete truck to stop in time for the red light, the semi trailer drivers action was inexcusable and the lights for traffic coming out of Bridgeman Downs Rd had actually turned green before the truck had crossed the intersection. This kind of driving in this type of vehicle could easily end in tragedy and I believe that the driver should have this fact strongly reinforced. As I came on to Linkfield road I ended up being behind the vehicle in question which pulled into a depot on South Pine Rd and was able to read the registration plate whic was Queensland 256 QQN.
refund on product scanned incorrectly
On 27/5/2019 I purchased 2 x 450g Peppercorn Pork & Red Onion Sausages marked down to $5.60 from $7.00. It was only when I was putting the groceries in my car that I checked my receipt and discovered only one had scanned at the reduced price. I then went back into the store to the cigarette counter and told the staff member what had happened - she checked the receipt and the packages and then gave me $1.40 (the difference between the original price and the discounted price)! As per your refund policy I am sure she should have given me the full amount ($7.00) back. It has taken me so long to put this complaint in as I had to figure out how to add the photo.
My name is Sherry and my email address is: [protected]@hotmail.com
Thank yu
I would like my name and email address taken off the complaint if you put it on any social media please.
new software system at self service checkouts
I am a nearly daily customer at Woolworth Leichhardt or Marrickville and normally I would use the self service check-outs. Since some weeks your company introduced a new software system for self-check-out service.
This new system is slow, complicated, confusing, and over-sensitive.
Hardly half of my purchasing went through without me calling for assistance. Either my own bag is not recognised, or my items are not recognised, or the weight is not coming up (sometimes it takes 20 seconds and more for the scales to count the weight), or I was to fast in bagging my items, or the system just tells me to call for assistance without any plausible reason.
Sometimes I have to call for help three times for different reasons - ALL THIS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE! Today I had to tell the system three times that I brought my own bag!
Each time it is annoying to wait for assistance, because I am not the only customer with problems, and your staff member is often speeding from cash register to cash register.
Why is it apparently impossible for a big company like yours to make shopping and even paying at the cash register a pleasant, easy procedure?
Regards
Norbert
woolworths chicken noodle soup
Yesterday i purchased a Woolworths brand Chicken Noodle Soup from my local store. Today for lunch i heated the chicken noodle soup up (being pregnant i was having cravings for it), and went to mix it though only to find that there was not 1 single noodle in there... inwas very disappointed
and it is highly misleading considering its mentioned in the name.
