in store environment
I have been a loyal customer of woolworths for many years now and for the most, I shop at your Epping North store. I have to say, never, have I ever been in to a store of any kind where I am always over hearing bullying, gossiping and team members getting told off, on your shop floor. It is disgusting and an absolute disgrace to walk in to a store where your loyal customers can hear your team members being so disrespectful and unhappy in their work environment. I am not one to speak up and put my nose where it doesn't belong, but enough is enough. This is unacceptable and the fact that nothing is being done about it is even more unacceptable. This is happening in front of your customers! You need to pull your staff and especially your management in line as to stop this. No customer should ever have to hear what goes on behind closed doors and no team member should be spoken to our gossiped about the way they have been. No one should have to listen to that or put up with being treated that way. I am someone who works in retail and understand how things work and how people should be treated, and I will stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves. Woolworths, you need to fix this and I really hope you do something about this. I tell you now, I will not be returning to this store or any other store until your employees learn how to not only respect their customers but respect each other. Bullying will not stand. Fix it, or it will be taken further.
weipa woolworths
I am sick and tired of dealing with such rude costumer service by one individual.
Yvonne an older lady who is without a doubt always witnessed being rude to customers. She is racist and just has a bitter attitude.
I have watched her for years and nothing has changed, Enough is enough.
Do something about her seriously. Why is this acceptable not right
In which woolworths branch does she work? Because I an old lady who works at woolworths mawson at the self checkout section just accused me of stealing and asked me to show everything that I had on my bag! I just finished my payment when she approached me. I was holding a tote bag with containers and storage box that I just got from Big W. When I told her I got those stuff from Big W she asked me to show her the receipt. Woolworths does not even sell those stuff! And guess what, she can't proof that I stole anything cause I did not. Then she only said thank you when she should be saying sorry for her rude and racist behaviour as I am not caucasian. Does woolworths really train their employess to asked the customers to show everything the customers have in their bag? Woolworths should not tolerate such behaviour from their employee. It was traumatizing for me actually. I have never had a problem with anybody in Australia until now.
online delivery driver
I have been receiving online grocery deliveries from Woolworths for a number of years.
I have been very concerned for some time that your driver is under the influence from Alcohol.
I get more than one delivery per week and I notice this happens every week.
I am concerned for my local community and their safety.
I am sure that commercial drivers should not be driving under the influence of any substance.
overpackaging
I am an office worker and visited your Bundoora (Polaris) store to buy a pack of bread rolls and a few slices of meat we and cheese from your deli for an on-the-spot lunch.
Knowing that I was going to immediately consume the items at the deli I told the staff member not to worry about wrapping my order in paper and to just put the sticker on the plastic bag. She advised me that she was required to wrap it in paper "for food hygiene reasons". I was also told that she could not wrap the two separate bags (containing 2 slices of cheese and 2 slices of pastrami) in the same sheet of paper with the two stickers on the outside.
Once outside the store I immediately unwrapped the deli items and disposed of the paper - so it was in use for less than 5 minutes. What exactly are the food hygiene reasons? As far as I am aware there is no issue with cured meat and cheese coming in contact (although they wouldn't have even been in direct contact being in separate plastic bags) and indeed if I were to buy a deli platter from you I could have cured meat and cheese on the same platter - and it's is not wrapped in paper!
It seems to me that this is a "policy" without actual basis and it unneccessatily contributes to waste. Whilst single use plastic is the big one, there is little merit in single use paper, particularly if it is unneccessary. I would ask that you review your policy and keep its application limited to where it is scientifically proven to be relevant. #waronwaste
mobile phone
I bought a phone from Punchbowl Woolworths 4 $129 it is faulty first complaints I tried to activate SIM this in the product was faulty or I was advised by Optus to go buy another one the phone has turned off by itself three times in the last 24 hours so I took the phone back and ask for an exchange but your lady that knows about phone's said there's nothing wrong with it was she with me last night wish you would me this morning no so now I want my money back it is not fair that I basically get called a liar in front of everyone I told her I'm not trying to scam you just give me a replacement but basically said there's nothing wrong with the phone and ant treat me like a like a thief isn't it Woolworths policy to sell working products you know she can't be here with me 4 to 3 hours to see that the phone just turns off automatically by itself so please I want my money back and by the way that Punchbowl storm and the lady wearing hijab is the rudest worker entire Sydney and I'm a Muslim My Name Is Omar Hussein can someone call me on [protected] I don't want this phone and no one from my entire family which is about 90 people from will never shop from Woolworths again
plastic pre-packaging of fresh fruit and vegetables
I am appalled by the use of plastic and styrofoam prepackaging of fruit and vegetables. I understand that blueberries need to be packaged, but there can be no excuse for tomatoes, apples, bananas, avocados, mandarins, sweet potatoes, anything organic, and vast numbers of other fruit and vegetables to be pre-packaged into plastic, or displayed on styrofoam trays with cling wrap over the top. It seems Woolies have just moved the plastic bags from the checkout to their fruit and veg section. This has to stop.
razzamatazz curvaceous range not available!
Hi I'm very disappointed that the razzmatazz curvaceous stockings range is not available in your 3 stores
Randwick
Coogee
Eastgardens
I shop in all 3stores and have been told by various staff members that it will come and has been ordered. I bought a lot of that range because they are comfortable and they fit is perfect . Working in a hospital, others have also noticed you stopped stocking that range. I
Have also noticed that the stock consists mainly sizes small to average.
Pls bring back what customers value and makes money too.
I always like shopping at woolies but its getting frustrating.
no free plastic bags
I used to go to Woolworths every week in Sydney, Australia for my full groceries shop, as they had everything I needed. However, since the ban on giving away free plastic bags came into effect, I now have to go to other shops to get my free plastic bags. I use about 10 to 15 of them each week to wrap all my rubbish in so that my garbage bins are spotless and don't smell. When I am in the other shops, I end up buying a lot of my groceries there instead. In fact, whilst I still go to Woolworths, I only spend about a quarter that I used to spend there. It would be wonderful if Woolworths resumed giving out the free bags (biodegradable if you wish) as then I can resume doing all my shopping at the one place. The plastic in the ocean comes from Asian countries that use their rivers as open sewers and ships that throw everything into the ocean, but not from NSW supermarkets. The ban is tokenism at its worst and is upsetting an enormous number of former loyal shoppers.
stale bread and rotten vegetables/produce
Hi for many months now our local woolies store at Goolwa SA, has been selling sub standar products to say the least. Inluded in this is vegetable (various) including but not limited to capsicum, cucumbers, strawberries etc. Other lines include "stale bread" which i can only suggest was frozen as there are clear and obvious signs of either refrigeration and or freezing. Is this the standard we at Goolwa will be subjected to whilst paying exorbitant prices? A reminder, Foodland is next door and Coles and an excellent fruit and veg store also Aldi, a leisurely 15 minute drive. We do not mind travelling for superior products at all and at the same time saving money even with the small expense of travel. So can you tell me why, we have been subjected to the lowest quality available whilst paying through the nose for these products from the alleged "Fresh Food People" and is this fact going to be the status quo?
Regards Leigh Dighton.

I'm a 80 year old pensioner
Regarding your store in the Westfield shopping complex in 100 Burwood Road Burwood NSW. I complained to the manager about the signage. It makes shopping so difficult for we elderly people especially if we are disabled, and it creates a lot of neck pain, because the signs are hanging up in the actual aisles I have to stop at every aisle and turn to check where the items are. I suggested to the manager To place the signs outside of the aisles where we can look up for where the items are. It will make it more user friendly for we elderly people. I hope that you will be able to do something about this. Thanks so much. Terence Wilson-Winship. Email [protected]@gmail.com

beef ragu
The meat in this product was awful. 75% was fat and gristle and there were 3 small slices of carrots for a serve for 2 people. We buy most of our meat from Woolworths and have tried a lot of their products and have never been so disappointed. Most of their products are delicious. We were looking forward to eating this product and ended up eating pasta and gravy!
vegetable produce
I shop at the Eatons Hill store in Qld on a Sunday. I am so disappointed with the stock you have on this day. There is hardly anything there and each week it is getting worse.
We use to shop and Coles in Albany Creek but since you opened at Eatons Hill we started to shop at Woolworths as it is closer and we lived the shop when it first opened but now feel the standard has gone way down.
See photos attached. The stock is little and looks awful. Really unhappy.

service
Hi Sir /Madam
I am Dr. [removed] Woolworths Platinum credit card holder, Woolworths car insurance and reward member (removed). I visited Woolworths at Allenstown with my wife Dr. [removed] and our kid David Shane Thomas on September 1, 2018, at around 13:00. I purchased items costing nearly $29.90 and took two bananas that are from the free food for kids basket. My baby is 9months old and he can't eat the banana at the shop, we need to make it in the pureed form for him to eat.
While on check out at the counter the customer service person demanded to put the banana back and said the child should eat the banana inside the shop. How can my 9 months old baby eat the banana inside the shop?
We feel that its an insult in front of all other customers on the busy Saturday shopping. We put the banana back and waited to report this to the store manager. I asked the customer service people to call the manager they informed the manager at lunch and it will take a long time. I said I will wait to see him then they said it may take a very long time. I don't think the customer service people informed the manager about me and my family was wiating to see him.
Later I called the Allenstown Woolworths phone number got from the internet and talked to a person and that staff informed the manager and the manager came within one minute. I told the incident to the manager and went home with my family
My family is shopping with Woolworths for the last 10 years. This is the very first time such an insulting incident happen to us. We value the ethics and moto of the Woolworths but this hurts our feelings. I hope you will look into this incident and give us the outcome. ( We are going for a one month vacation to the USA from September 2 to September 30 )
Kind regards
Dr. [removed] and Dr. [removed]

sourdough bakery bread
Hi,
My complaint is about your new ingredients in your sour dough bread. The past 10 years or more your bakery has made the best sour dough on earth, and in the past year it seems the ingredience has changed, you sour dough is no longer a light fluffy beautiful bread, it is heavy as brick, think and like eating wet cardboard. Unfortunately for me I have been shopping at Coles, just because I cant the beautiful sour dough bread woolworths use to produce. What are the chances of looking into this and getting the original recipe back in store . just incase it is only the stored I shop from who have changed, I shop at mountain creek QLD, kawana QLD, chancellor park QLD. I have swapped store to see if the sour dough was the same in these stores and the quality has changed in all stores for the worse in my opinion.
thank you so much for your time and understanding, i hope this can be addressed
Cheers Tam

I went to do my daily groceries in the north side plaza store rockhampton for my hubby and i, once i got to the checkout the lady that was serving me was very rude after i asked how her day was, no talk at all and no smile. it was very rude and i do not think that is how a customer should act to a customer, very dissapointed and surely not going back to that employee. The lady had a brown/red hair and i could not remember her name badge but definitely started with a L

catch of the day gift card
I have visited Woolworths Supermarket in Unley to buy a catch day gift card shown on a catalogue with a 1000 points promotion. I have been advised the store dont have any gift cards available and the promos was displayed on the walls. I have asked store to check if any other nearby have any of these vouchers so I can go there. The lady (or the manager) advised that none of the stores in Adelaide have these vouchers. I was intending to buy $500.
It is very disappointing that is stated in this catalouge and promos were clearly displayed in the woolworths supermarket but the shelf across all the stores are empty. Ver bad service.
woolworths brand 'cola'.
My husband drinks at least one 1.25L bottles of Woolworths brand cola per day and as we live rural I always buy 10-12 bottles whenever I'm in town. I purchased some last Friday and so far, 3 of them have been completely flat. I hope that no more will be, as it means that we will run out before I have to go into town. I have had this problem before, but didn't put in a complaint as I didn't think it was worth it at the time. But I hope this isn't an on going problem or I might have to change brands.
seriously thats far too much suger. one bottle per week would be more than enough! lol
chai latte
Recently you changed the packaging and also the taste of the select brand Chai Latte. Before it would have a decent froth on the top when hot water was added. Now the new one has little to no froth and is very watery and has far too much cinnamon flavour. Just thought you might like to know as I have been purchasing 4 boxes at a time previously but probably wont be so enthusiastic in the future. Not sure why you changed it as you had the market cornered being the only store who had a chai latte not a chai tea. Now on the box it says tea blend so I guess that's where it has gone wrong. Just thought you might like some constructive criticism. I really miss the old Chai latte.
I totally agree with you. Since Woolies changed the packaging on the Chai Latte, they also changed the ingredients. Why?
The cinnamon is so over powering it really is disgusting to drink, that’s when I can get past the smell.
You had a great product before, now it’s the worst. I use to buy 4 boxes at a time now I buy none.
Woolies go back to the original chai.
paris creek quark being delisted
Hi
You have delisted Paris Creek Quark Cottage Cheese. It's a superb product and was a reason I would go into woolowrths and of course pick up some other products. I will shop at Aldi from now on! Furthermore there is nothing comparable in your store. You have preservative laded food and if u look at the cottage cheeses they all have preservatives.
