woolworths home brand chai latte
I and several of my friends have been buying the Woolworths home brand Chai Latte for a very long time because it was a great price and tasted really nice. Then the product became temporary unavailable for several weeks, couldn't get it anywhere and then when it did come back on the shelves it was packaged different and the formula in the making of it has changed so much that it's actually a different colour when made and tastes nothing like it used to. Why would Woolworths do such a thing to a product that was a great seller. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. I had switched to the home brand a few years ago because after purchasing a coffee machine from Woolworths, I was buying all the Gloria Jean products in Woolworths but then all of a sudden there was no more Gloria Jean Chai Latte on the shelves. Woolworths have a great habit of discontinuing popular products and in this case changing everything from their original Chai Latte. which now is horrible. I unfortunately bought several boxes of it thinking it would be the usual tasting Chai Latte, NOT HAPPY ! Why Woolworths just can't leave things alone is beyond me, might be time to start shopping else where I think.
rebecca at woolworths waikiki
Rebecca at self serve was very rude to me and my daughter tonight. She had a very abrupt attitude and breathed down my neck as I made my purchase. There was not a single other customer in self serve but she felt the need to bully me and my daughter and make us feel like we were doing something wrong. She didn't greet us at the beginning nor at the end of our shop. Overall a very uncomfortable experience leaving me feeling very unhappy and hard done by
checkout operator at warwick
Today my 11yr old son bought me a can of tomatoes, as he approached the checkout he said hello to the operator she dud not respond, she didn't smile she asked him if he had anything in his pockets, he emptied it out there was rubbish in there. He was embarrassed and upset when he got to the car, I went in and told the manager she said there's been theft in the store and wound talk to her, I looked back she did nothing and walked off, so I went to the check out operator and told her what she did wrong sgecaid his pockets looked full, I said that's no excuse you just made him feel like [censored] and assumed he was a thief. My son is dark skinned goes to a good Christian school and we don't ever condone stealing so I was really hurt, he think it's a racist issue but the check out operator was dark too so not sure her intent but it was wrong and this is not customer service. I want to know woolies is doing something about this poor behaviour especially from management as I felt she just shrugged it off, I feel the operator felt more remorseful than the manager. Not sure what happened after I left.
southern fried chicken
Wollies removed this awesome product Southern Fried Chick and replaced it with their own disgusting version. It doesn't so much taste bad, it's the cuts they use. It's covered in fat, skin and bones and gets all sloppy. The ORIGINAL SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN only use skinless drumsticks and breast with one bone in it, it was a pleasure to eat.
Woolies, you turned my favourite chicken into half the amount of meat and a slop of a meal. Damn you!
unable to return faulty goods
I purchased a pair of Clio Summer Glow Tights on 8 August 2018 and attempted to wear them to work on 13 August 2018.
The tights would not stay up at all and appeared to have no elastic.
When leaving my property and standing on the footpath, they fell down to my knees.
I had to return inside and change outfits.
I was going to Woolworths on the evening of 13 August to do some shopping and so took the tights, packaging and receipt to return them.
The Woolworths staff member would not return them as I'd worn them.
I explained I'd worn them for 5 minutes and could only know they were faulty by wearing them.
She told me because I'd worn them she could not resell them.
I explained she couldn't resell them because they were faulty.
This conversation continued with another staff member involved.
I was stunned as I thought I was going to be simply just returning them, not realising there would be an issue at all.
I would have thought your policy of returning faulty goods would override your policy of returning underwear.
All I ask is that this policy is reviewed as I was disappointed and upset by my experience with the staff at Woolworths on this occasion.
quality of food
Hi my name is Adam Widdison rewards card number [protected]
I shop at Woolworths nearly everyday at Morphett Vale 5162 and tonight I had the worst experience ever in regards to food
I purchased a rump steak and what I tried to eat nearly made me be sick I'm not sure how this can be addressed but I'm not sure if I can shop there again?!
I'm a person who does not complain at all but as you can see by the photos this is not good enough? Please do what you have to do
As above
rude customer service
Natasha garner at echuca Safeway's was very rude and abrupt to me tonight as I went through her cheek out. She spoke very rudely to me and was fine to all the other customers before and after me. I felt like we was taggeting me and I felt like I can't even go shopping. She said " oh your back again" and it was a huge shock it feels like I can't even go shopping anymore for the fear that she is going to say something that she shouldn't. I thought no mater what your ment to be nice to the customers
breach of privacy issue
Dear Sir/Madam
I wish to lodge a complaint about an email I received from a company that appears to be representing you which maybe a scam.
I participated in a recent survey they sent me and next thing I know my information was shared to other companies who have sent me advertisements and a breach of my privacy.
This company (see photo attached) should be stopped for their illegal activity of sharing customer's information and profile for the survey they conduct.
This is so shameful and very low that they use people's information without their consent. This company should be sued for being able to illegally operate under someone else's banner.
Please assist by letting me know what is my next step if you are unable to assist.

deli manager
I have witnessed disgraceful service from what I can assume is the deli department manager. I witnessed a customer asking if they're were any more bacon out the back and the deli manager proceeded to speak and act rudely by throwing the box and not giving him what he wanted. He had asked for 1kg and she without asking him if it was okay gave him way over this. It was disgusting behaviour and I will not shop here.
[censored] Woolworths. No response whatsoever to my complaint regarding what looks like loose plastic found in the Woolworths brand milk powder. Yes, I checked the spelling. "[censored] Woolworths" is correct!

non exchange policy of cigarettes
My wife brought 3 packets of horizon red thirtys and when she got home 1 pack ended up being the wrong ones. We live approx 20 klm from the store so we left it until we went in 2 days later to take them back. When we asked to exchange them we were told that they do not exchange cigarettes. They did not ask when we brought the item just refused to exchange them. I believe if you are given the wrong product you are entitled to a exchange for the right one. It is not like it is a self service counter were if you get the wrong product it is your fault you have been served and expect to receive what you asked for. I am sure if someone ordered products from your home delivery service and was sent the wrong items your company. You would endevor to rectify the mistake not turn around and say we do not exchange because of our mistakes. We have always shopped at this store since living in this erea for the last 15 years and will now take our business elsewhere. I am sure Coles will appreciate the 40 + thousand dollars a year extra turnover that we spend. I know that is just a drop in the ocean for a company like yours. But if this happens to enough people and they go to the opposition your company might change this ridiculous policy. Not happy

On Wednesday the 8/8/18 between 3.30pm and 3.45pm I attended Woolworths Lithgow to purchase a few grocery items. I grabbed a small trolley and placed the four items I wanted into it. As there was only 4 items, I waited in the express lane. I let a woman behind me go in front of me as she had been waiting in line but chatting to another woman. The sales assistant that would eventually serve me served the woman in front if me, enjoying a bit of a chat and a laugh. When it was my turn, I approached the sales assistant. She said hello and I said hello in return. My trolley was between me and the counter so I placed my first item on the counter. The sales assistant then scanned it along with the other items but was looking at me very unpleasantly. Perhaps I was a bit slow in putting the item on the counter as I have an injury to my arm.. I really don't know. I have to admit I was a little taken back as I do not know this woman personally, nor have I had any real contact with her in store. After she had scanned my items she then said in a very unpleasant manner.. 'have you got your bags?' Again I was taken back with her attitude to me and the way she directed the question. I then said to her 'Do you want my bags?' and her response verbatim was.. 'I wouldn't ask for the bags if Ididn't want them'. Her tone of voice and body language was now very aggressive. I would also like to state that there were customers behind me and within earshot and other staff members behind the express lane counter who would have also overheard her abuse. I then went on to say they were single use bags and asked if she was allowed to pack them. She remained angry in her response by saying she basically didn't care about bags and that a bag was a bag. I then felt the need to explain that staff in Coles in Lithgow had told me that customers could bring single use bags but they were unable to pack them for us. She then went on rudely to ask me to move my trolley so others could get in. I was and am still absolutely disgusted with her service to me. On reflection and having discussed the event with friends and family, there can be no excuse for her poor behaviour which has not only left me shocked and dismayed, but has now ensured that I will no longer be a customer at Lithgow Woolworth.

scanning policy and staff lack of knowledge
Every time I notice I have been over charged and question the ticket price I am made to feel like I am a burden and treated like a scab. On Tuesday I purchased a few items from woolworths at Brookwater and questioned 2 stationery items, yes I was correct the items scanned higher then the ticketed price. The cashier tried to tell me that the scanning policy was I would receive the item at the ticketed price and not for free as per the scanning policy. Can you please advice me if the scanning policy has changed or are the staff just uneducated in regards to customer rights when it refers to the scanning policy. I'm sick and tired of woolworths employees not following policies and treating customers like we are stupid. The cashier left me waiting whilst she spoke to her customer service manager and yes I got the 2 items free. I'm not after free stuff I'm only after my items scanning correctly so my experience at woolworths is an enjoyable experience and not made to feel that I have no right to question the integrity of your scanning policy.
woolworths brand scotch fingers.
I have been purchasing these biscuits for just over a year now and have been very disappointed with purchases over recent months.
The biscuits are often over baked, very dark, hard and often broken.
In any one packet three or four biscuits are broken.
Often they appear to be in one piece but break in half when handled.
When over baked they are hard and tasteless.
As this seems to be common i will no longer purchase these biscuits as i throw most of them in the bin, they are just no pleasant to eat.
customer service - blackwood 5051 south australia
I went to Woolworths 7th of August 2018 Blackwood, South Australia.
A staff was organizing cigarettes in the Drawers. She has blonde short hair with glass. (She looks over 50 years old)
I stood up there for help and she didn't look around at all. So I said "Excuse me" Still didn't look back. So I said excuse me again. She turned around "hang on a sec". I am a retail assistant as well. What I do as a retail assistant? Whenever a customer needs help we help them first and organizing products after. Isn't this normal? She was so rude!
I think she definitely needs an intensive training for customer service.
We wend there around 8pm on 7th of August.
pricing
Shopping today at Woolworths Hinkler Central at 12:30...
The mince was advertised on the shelf at $7 per kilogram with large advertising. The price on all of the packaging for 1kg mince was $8 per kilogram... I asked the staff... waited 5 minutes until they finally found someone form the meat section... His arrogant and rude, short and curt response? Don't worry about it, it will scan for $7 at the checkout... When I asked the obvious follow up question of why not correct the labels, hes response was "It's done in Brisbane... nothing we can do about it"... and he then walked away... Well before I could thank the guy properly for wasting 10 minutes of my day because they couldn't be arsed changing a few labels so they were correct.
How much money do you guys make a year off us? Is it too much to ask that the prices on the stuff you sell is correct?
And as for your customer service, don't get me started... You only have to scroll down some of these complaints to see you are a typical greedy faceless corporation only interested in profit and your perceived media profile... You figure treating all of us like this will have no impact on your overall bottom line...
I'll be spending my money at coles from now on... I mean there's no difference between you anyway...
tobacco
Monday 6/8/2018 8:28pm woolworths Thomastown
I am a 38 year old woman I purchased tobacco for my brother and I was talking to my daughter who was with me and the rude girl serving me said I can't sell you tobacco I said to her did my child ask you for tobacco she was talking to me about school however she was very rude and gave me the wrong tobacco so I waited and told the other girl she gave me the wrong ones the other girl had a look then the rude girl name Samantha said we don't have it we never sell it here I explained I purchased one a few days ago from this store and in an arrogant way she said no we don't so I said to her I will take these and if they are the wrong ones my brother will come back and exchange them she again in a very rude way said one they leave the store we can't exchange them, I said yes you can if they are still sealed and we have a receipt you have to exchange them as part of your mistake she said I have been working here for 7 years and this is our policy I then told her I have been working at coles for 17 years and I know my rights and policy she then snapped at me and said well this isn't coles we have a different policy, I left the store in tears and called Epping plaza Woolworths and I explained to them what had happened they told me what I had said if the packet is sealed and have a receipt they would be happy to exchange it I went there and exchanged it and the manager had advised me to put in a complaint.
Every time I go to Woolworths Thomastown this rude Samantha girl is always rude to me and other customers if she can't provide good customer service she shouldn't be working there.
I am now thinking of never shopping at Woolworths again I spend over $500 a week there but will now be going to Coles where the service is better I am very upset about this and my child was shocked this is disgusting and she should be dealt with I am willing to go face to face in a meeting with her in front of the manager to prove how rude she is also Woolworths should train their staff about policies because I have searched your policy about this and asked other stores all I can say is that Woolworths has lost a valued customer and I will also be telling my friends and family this is not the first time this has happened with this rude girl.
pricing
Today I shopped at Woolworths North Shore Townsville store and was charged the wrong amount for 2 items that had sales tickets on the front of the row of items.
The first item was coffee mugs advertised as half price - inspired embossed mug D. (Yellow). I checked the sales ticket as the other coloured mugs were all priced at $3.20 but the ticket item stated that these mugs were $2 and the description on the ticket stated it was for inspired embossed mug D. I bought 2 cups thinking I was getting a bargain which I didn't get.
The second item was Nivea sun kids roll on, SPF50, special on ticket was $4. Again, I checked the specials ticket but it just had $4 on the ticket. There were 2 rows of the product and 2 tickets. Under the ticket the price was $11.50. I was charged $11.50.
As we are travelling in a car towing a caravan, it is not practical for me to return to the store.
I am writing to you because this is not the first time I have had an issue with the pricing of products and I strongly feel that I need to inform you of the errors.
service desk employer
Hi my name is Wayne and I am 34 years of age. On the 5/8/2018 I was refused service when for having to much change when purchasing a packet if cigarettes. Here is the scenario, I walked to the counter at Woolworths Gosford at around 4:30pm the attended was a woman She said can I help you, I replied yes I would like a packet of jps 20s blue please, She then got the cigarettes as I was getting my money out, I had a $5 note and mostly 50 and 20 cent pieces adding up to $20 in total, then I said sorry for the change, She replied we can't accept that, I said why is that, She then said there is to much change there we just can't accept that, then I said what do you mean, she then said we can't take it and it's getting to late then walked off. Woolworths closed 8pm that night. You shouldn't be refused a purchase for having to much change.
Hi Wayne,
I believe it's actually illegal in Australia for cashiers to accept smaller coins over a certain amount, particularly with 20c and 50c coins.
"not exceeding $5 if any combination of 5c, 10c, 20c and 50c coins are offered"
"According to the Currency Act 1965 (section 16) "
