This is my first complaint ever in my life. For years I have visited the Zaxby's location in Thomasville and always received wonderful service and delicious food.
On a trip yesterday afternoon at 5:30 I stopped by Zaxby's in Moultrie, GA and order a Big Zak Snack Meal. The fries were so so but the chicken was not eatable. It was cooked extremely too long and was hard and dry. I went thru the drive thru on my way to Fitzgerald. I guess the drive thru was a mistake because evidently they do not care what they serve.
Never before have I had a complaint and had I not been traveling I would have turned around and returned for a refund.
I don't know the policy of Zaxby's for overcooked food but it should never be served to paying customers when it is not eatable. My dinner went in the trash and I purchased another meal on the road.
Thank you for your time. I will NEVER visit the Moultrie location again.

Hello! I'm a former employee of Zaxbys on hwy 157 in Cullman, AL. I was hired before the store opened. I worked 3 days when the store opened & on Sunday I had called to get my schedule bc i was off that weekend, so when i called, they informed me they had to let me go due to "performance issues". Ok, 1st off, they didn't even have the decency to call me to tell me & 2nd, how can they judge your performance after 3 DAYS? I didn't even train on the job I was hired to do. I did everything else BUT that! So how are they to tell me I had performance issues. I even went up there this weekend to hand in my shirt & visor & to talk to them & he tells me "3 days is more than enough time for them to decide that". I find this very shady! I called & have left y'all a message so I hope y'all call me back to talk to me. I love Zaxbys food but like I told him this weekend, I'll never step foot back in that particular store. If I want Zaxbys I'll go to other ones!
I find it telling the Zaxby's has not reached out to this person with some kind of communication from this complaint. No, three days is not long enough to fire someone based on "performance issues" without some kind of record of what took place, how he/she was asked to improve, and how they failed to do so. This leaves a BAD taste in my mouth about Zaxby's, period. To allow this kind of HR B.S. to go on is beyond stupid. For real. John Fiske, Zaxby's customer, Huntsville, AL. boneless wings
Always have eaten at and loved Zaxby's. I am totally sick at stomach while eating wings and bit down into a boneless wing piece with a tough rubbery texture and half cooked with a slight pinkish color in middle. The sad part is that upon further investigation, I am not sure if it's boneless chicken or what! I am totally sick and to make matters worst, I called store to complain and Store Manager Courtney gladly said we will be glad to give you a free meal...Are you kidding me? Not only have I eaten Lord knows what, but inconvenieced as well and then I go back and probably get the other half of whatever this is..I will call health department in the a.m. This is terrible..here's a pix. fried house salad
I get a fried house salad from Zaxby's at least once a week. I just recently noticed the receipt says it's suppose to come with 4 chicken fingers. I've never had 4 on my salad. Maybe 2- 2.5. It's sad that I'm paying my money for something and I'm given less than what I'm paying for. From now on, I will be ordering my salad with my chicken fingers uncut. Hopefully that won't be a problem but I'm sure it will since they don't like giving customers the food that is paid for.
Good food, quick service. I've always found Zaxby's a little overpriced, but I like it well enough to go from time to time.
food poisoning from boneless wings
On Sunday, January 24th, my mother and I stopped by for some lunch
after church. It is personally not my favorite place to eat but it was okay. Since my youngest daughter was at home, I ordered her some boneless wings to take to her at the house. Later that evening, she became violently ill and was sick for a few days. We went back over where she had been and what she had eaten and the wings were the only thing different she had eaten was the wings. Please let them know that food poisoning is a real thing and it can happen to anyone.

On 02/04/2016 at 7 PM I attempted to place a on line order. After making my selections I entered my credit card number. Placed my order and received a reply, " there is a problem please call [protected]. This Zabys is located on County Road 484, Ocala, Florida 34473. I called the store and had to request the manager because the young lady who answered had no idea what to do. Your manager told me he was aware of the problem but because he was a franchise operation, corporate Zaxbys did not care. That is unacceptable to offer a service that does not work. I gave my order over the phone for pick up on Super Bowl Sunday. Hope I am not disappointed with my order. You need to insure all on line services offered are working. Would appreciate a reply. employees kept looking around corner and grinning at me at drive through
Now I know why... I ordered 2 kitty grilled cheese, fries and chocolate milk for my 2 children. When I walk in at 5pm, I see a new manager. She was yelling at her employees, and pushing/bossing them to do other things. Ironically, this was only happening to me, not anyone else. My new general manager (GM as we call them) does the same thing. The date is 1/8/16. At my store, we like to leave when we close (because none of us want to be at the store hour after hour helping close). So I try to do dishes throughout the day just to help get things started. This happened around 6pm. I was told from the new manager that doing dishes was the last thing you do. So I was sent to drop (cook) fingers. After I drop them in the fryer, the manager said I did everything wrong and that I was her "dropping man." Around closing time, I was told to sweep the floor, but another employee politely asked if I could wipe the counter. I proceed to wipe the counter. After 15min of cleaning up center line, the new manager comes back and says "You're still wiping. I asked you to sweep." I politely said that I was getting to that. But she said that I had to stop what I was doing immediately and sweep the floor causing the inside of me to rage. At the end of the day, I was written up due to my actions and my "blatant attitude." I left a note on the sheet saying that other members asked me to do other tasks at the same time. That night I went home in tears due to this harassment from the new managers.

I no longer work at this location but the drama that the head manager and her daughter create is extremely unprofessional. The manager creates rumors about other employees and creates very uncomfortable situations and atmosphere. I do not know how upper management can keep someone like this on board. The daughter is just as bad. She talks about her own mother's sexual preferences and style and many other awful things. She (the daughter) is always there even after shift ends and on her days off. she has been clocked in even when she is not scheduled to work. they make up these awful rumors of employees they do not like. It is so unfortunate that good and hardworking people have to leave voluntarily because of the awful and unhealthy environment these women have created. They ridicule some of the employees and chritisize them for their appearance. I had to get out of that place! It is a true sewer in that place. In my book this is bullying when they make employees feel so uncomfortable.

Who designed their drive-up window at the Clinton, UT location? I like to have a menu in front of me when I order. The speaker where they take orders is no where near the menu. You have to drive around the building to get to the drive-up window or drive through several parking lots to get to it. I tried to order online so I could just pick up my order but there was a technical error. I have only been there 2 times in several years and now I remember why. I was so disgusted with the process that drove thru without ordering.

Went thru the drive thru, when I paid at window I ask employee to make sure my order was correct. Employee never checked just handed me my food and slammed window shut. When I got home I found that I had no ranch dressing for my salad but also paid for extra. Drove back to speak with manager and report employee, she gave me my ranch dressing and said she would take care of it. I said now my food is going to be cold at which point she said if you want to bring it back I can replace it. Well DUH I had just had to drive back to get what they had left out of my order so I sure was not going to go home then come back again. This is just not acceptable from a zaxbys manager

I have eaten at Zaxby's since the earlier to mid 90's in Statesboro, GA and have sinced moved to North, GA. I still enjoy their chicken fingers and crinkle fries but am appalled and how small the chicken fingers have gotten. Not to mention the price has gone up as well. I know meat prices have risen but if we as consumers shouldn't have to pay more money and in return get a smaller portion. Please help with this as there are many options out there for chicken fingers but I have been a loyal customer for some time.

This Zaxby's needs to stop using foul language in the kitchen area. I heard this from the front counter. They were screaming at the young kids working back there. I hope they get the management straight. Horrible how these kids were being treated.
poor customer service

I decided to go inside of the restaurant because the drive-thru line was excessively long at approximately 1655. I ordered the Wings and Things Platter x 2. One platter request was hot wings and the other order was for boneless. I also ordered a Birthday milkshake. The young lady who took the order asked for help to make the milkshake and it was difficult for the young lady who eventually got some help from another teen. The outside was messy and runny. The girl who came to help did at least replace the top! The manager brought the milkshake to me and I inquired as to why the shake was not full. The manager informed me that the milkshake was a full two cup order. At the time I did not know he was the manager until I waited for more than 25 minutes for my order. The store has only young teens running this establishment who were very unprofessional. Customers came in after me and was waited on and left. I asked for the manager and asked him why was I waiting for my order for so long? Was my order overlooked? He yelled out as to why this happened and one young man said he did not know. Yelling back and forth with customers in the store. I have never been in a Zaxby's establishment with such poor performances. This store was extremely unprofessional, exhibited poor customer service, and the manager offered me a free drink! No one, not even the manager apologized. I informed the manager that I did not want a drink but I wanted my food. I still waited and he said that the staff had to make the boneless wings, which I informed him was legitimate-other than letting the customer know and thank the customer for the wait! Other customers were annoyed for me by this time. This store has lost my service permanently. The corporate office should look to employ the store with much mature staff. And on top of that the food was not hot! I am very displayed and dissatisfied with the service from this Zaxby's.
horrible treatment of new employee
As a brand new employee - my first job, I was excited that this company hired me. I was really looking forward to working here. First day ended and dreaded coming in for my next shift. After 4 days of daily degrading treatment by the assistant managers and some of the cashiers, I quit. There is no training. Being called multiple names - laughing about it - and most of this from the asst. mgrs, ...how you people can call yourselves the best company is beyond me.
rude manager and employees
The manager Eddy (Eddie) Bradshaw is very rude and disrespectful. He feels as if he can talk to his employees any type of way. I was told he makes the employees cook food that falls on the floor. He has his favorites who he let do anything, which they never work. Another huge problem is the employee Shakeda she works drive thru. She is VERY RUDE, yelling and cursing at customers. I recommend no one to eat there employees are horrible
I have a feeling you are an employee not a customer and you were chewed out for not doing your job properly and the favorite ones are the ones that do what they are paid to do.
terrible food, unconcerned management
I ordered a chicken plate from inside a few hours ago and I have to say it was a terrible experience, not just for me, but for everyone else in the dining area, too. While waiting for my good (45 minutes for some chicken and fries, by the way) I counted 6 consecutive orders that were wrong and had to be returned, then 3 of those who returned the food and told the cashier it was inedible. I finally received my food (it was right!) after the long wait and quickly found myself agreeing with the other customers. The chicken was terrible and the fries were soggy. It tasted as if it were cooked in month old oil. We all told the manager (who it took 15 minutes to track down) but she didn't seem concerned and told us she would "look into it". I eventually just took my food, threw it in the trash, and left. I have no idea if the other customers ever got refunds or edible food.
I will not be back. I've been to quite a few Zaxby's all over the state, and this is the only one I've left feeling disgusted. This was a nice restaurant when it opened. I'm not sure what happened. I think maybe new management took over and they just don't care. I will be contacting the Health Department monday to try to get this place either cleaned up or shut down. This place should not be open to the public.

I ordered a chicken salad sandwich last night. I started to take a bite and was overwhelmed with a "chemical like" smell. I had 3 other people smell it who were not aware of the problem. All 3 of them said the same thing, "It has a chemical smell, I wouldn't eat it." I have always loved this sandwich but it will be a very long time before any of us are able to try it again. I tried to take it apart and smell each component. It may have been the lettuce but I'm not sure.
Chicken fingers were over cooked, very salty & deep fried in strong stale oil. Had 2 throw both our meals away.
You sound impatient and childish. I doubt you will be missed. If it is busy it will take time for your food to cook, and the manager to arrive. There were other people before you. You have to wait your turn. The world does not revolve around you.
