Customer service at your gas station
clerk at the counter asked me twice which pump I needed the gas on I repeated it to her 2 times and she proceeded to get upset claim it was a mistake on my part then another homeless encampment lady came in and said she didn't get all her gas pumped in her tank of her car the clerk switched my pump # 10 to the homeless lady on pump #8 so she could get some gas which she didn't have any money to truly pay for then proceeded to get angry and upset with me stating I don't know what I'm doing when it comes to pumping my own gas this homeless lady is a frequent person which stay on your property along with countless others soliciting for whatever and walking up to people and scaring them away too many people hang out at your establishment for the wrong reason and bother your potential consumers this store is located at 4301 Sonoma Blvd. Vallejo, ca store #972745 very bad service and still have not seen the automatic return on my receipt like she had stated the amount of gas paid for was 10.00 along with some other items it came to 15.17 I would like you to investigate this matter because this is seemingly like a scam run by one of your employees.

Your arch station at 475 mountain in upland valley is robbing people by tampering with the pumps they stole 15 dollars from my wife May 12 2023 .pump bump number 3 I went their and took photos of all the pumps and the seals have been removed from all the pumps but 2 pumps. I filed a police report with the upland police and I talked to a man that claims he is the owner. He drives a black tasler I have his photo and photo of his car. They some way stop gas from going into your car but they are still running the tank like it’s putting gas in your car. Site is ARCO 2275950 I went to their station down the street and all the pumps their have been tampered with as well I want my money back they need to be closed up for doing that all the stations on that street have seals on each and every plump

I stopped at ARCO gas station at 11925 SW ALLEN BLVD Beaverton, OR last night April 6 at approximately 9:30pm. I have purchased gas at this station before and had no issues. Last night was a different story. I went into the store and there was quite alot of people in line. I grabbed other merchandise and eventually made it to the cashier. I told him $20 on pump #3. He rang up my snacks then asked me how much gas and which pump my vehicle was at. I repeated my request to him, he rang it in. Then I paid him in cash grabbed the few items I bought and immediately exited the store. As I walked to my truck I could see that the pump was disconnected already and I thought to myself that the gas should have still been pumping since I had just told them how much I wanted. I got to my truck and looked at the pump readout. It read $20.00 and had pumped a little ovee 5 gallons. I started my truck and because I knew exactly where the needle on my gas gauge was, when I started my truck the needle did not move even a millionth of a fraction. Giving the benefit of the doubt I waited for the needle to move once I started driving. Again nothing happened nothing moved. My only take on this is that the employees at the Arco station on Southwest Allen Boulevard in Beaverton Oregon ripped me off and did not pump any gas into my truck. I am dead certain of this I know my gas gauge and I know how much gas I use driving from my friend's place in Beaverton back to my house in Southeast Portland and just now I had to buy gas again I filled up my tank because it was on empty. When I pulled into the Arco station last night my needle was just over a quarter tank when I got into my truck today to go to work my needle was about at 1/8 of a tank I did not get $20 worth of gas at that Arco station last night they ripped me off and I would like a refund

SCAM ALERT! My mom visited this ARCO location and went in to give cause in order to fill up $40 worth of gas. My mom clearly counted out one $20, three $5 and five $1 bills and told the male cashier she was filling up $40.
He took her money and turned around and placed some money in another drawer and turned back to her and showed her only the smaller denominations. The $20 bill was missing. She doesn't speak well English so she just assumed they set it to $40.
She went out to fill her tank and the gas stopped at $20. She went back in to ask about it and the 2 male cashiers said she only gave them $20. They then called 2 other female workers and they all denied her and asked her if she wanted to "look at the computer". She said no because it wouldn't prove anything as they probably only entered $20 in the system. She was very upset and yelled at them but did not get her money back.
I would like some action taken on this location as many others have reported similar issues even dating back 4+ years. I believe this is not only customer abuse but elderly abuse and discrimination performed by this station as they took advantage of my elderly mother who doesn’t speak English as her first language.
I have contacted ARCO customer relations regarding this issue on the same day, March 8, 2023 and received a response back stating this location is owned by a Dealer and the Dealer is responsible for all aspects of their business. I was told the Dealer should reach out to me to resolve this issue but they have not. I have followed up on March 15, 2023 and was told the issue was escalated to the Dealer yet again. Today on March 24, 2023, I still have yet to receive any response from the Dealer to resolve this issue.
Desired outcome: This location should be shut down or the dealer needs to face some repercussions regarding the scam they are allowing to happen at this location for several years now.
Still did not get paid will not answer me
So I started working in at Arco in Lake Havasu city in February I worked for one week, and I quit due to the fact that the lady that was training me was on my register and not training me outside constantly and sitting me outside so my register was coming up short when I had to work with her and I wasn’t gonna work for free so I waited for payday to get my check. I was told that my bank info they couldn’t except it. I needed to open a bank account. I got a different bank account still have not get gotten paid and nobody will answer me. It’s just unacceptable I’m a single mom I work 32 hours and I need someone to reach out to me please.
Desired outcome: Just to be paid my 32 hours that’s it. It’s been over. It was in February. This is almost the end of March. It’s been a month.

Propain
For over a year now we have been trying to get propain at the arco off hwy 34 in Albany, Oregon but the man tell's us each and every time that there is no propain - it makes you wonder if the manager nows what he or she is doing - I can't make up my mind if they really always are out of propain or if they just don't want to pump the propain or if the manager is really that bad of a job. No propain in a year or more, someone needs to check into that.
Desired outcome: get more propain or someone who will be willing to pump propain - have a talk to the manager about not having propain .
Price gouging
I recently pulled into the ARCO Gas station in Woodburn, Oregon off of Highway 5, I asked the attendant to fill it up. I had checked the price at the Gas station across the street, it was $3.79 a gallon. There was a line so I saw the ARCO and decided to go there, figuring their prices would be about the same. I did not see the price posted. When I got my receipt, I was shocked to say the least, they are charging $6.69 a gallon. Our total came to $145.35 which I have never ever paid that much. It should have been $82.35 at $3.79 a gallon.
I feel they are intentionally overcharging. I have since looked online after being cheated, and there are 51 complaints against this station filed with the department of Justice.
I feel they are really giving ARCO a bad name as a rip-off!
Desired outcome: Refund for my overpayment due to their price gouging. To fine this owner or to stop letting him do business with Arco.
Price Gouging!
We were on our way home from a beautiful road trip through Oregon and needed gas while going though Woodburn, OR off I- 5. We checked at the Chevron station and then saw Arco and decided to pull in there as we have always had excellent experiences with them (and most often the same or a little less price per gallon. Because in Oregon they pump the gas for you, we did not see the price per gallon. We had to ask for a receipt, and placed in my document book where I keep records of our trip. 50 miles down the road I looked at the receipt and was shocked to say the least, they charged us $6.69 a gallon, which I felt certain was an error. Our total came to $164.62! It should have been $95.61 at $3.89 a gallon. I called and left a complaint with the manager and have never heard back.
Are they intentionally overcharging? Seems so, as I have since researched complaints, and they have many. This doesn't seem legal and is definitely not morally okay or good business practice. I feel cheated and violated. Unfortunately, I will never visit an Arco gas station again because of this management's decision to cheat his customers. They have tarnished ARCO's reputation.
I would like a refund for my overpayment of gas $69.11 due to their price gouging. A fine administered to the owner and/or refusing him an Arco ownership license would be desirable.

Refused to serve me for looking white, I am not white!!
At the station on Evergreen and Cesar Chavez Avenue in Los Angeles, the clerk refused to pump the gas after I asked him for a receipt. He spoke in Spanish with another employee calling me names then I let him know I speak and read Spanish, and that I had been recording the whole incident.
Now can I get someone to talk to me or do I just call KTLA and tell them ARCO refused to serve me for being white looking, a violation of the 1989 UnRuh Act of California!

Rude and nasty employees
I went to arco on 11/03/22 at 1000 am on 7260 s las vegas blvd las vegas nv 89119. Went in to do some shoppng, did not see anything I liked so started to go out the door and one of the arco employees asked me if I had purchased any ice or water isaid no, this very rude and nasty employee said tome what I had in my cup whichi was carrying. I said it was diet coke showed her the cup and I said that I had got that at my home. I also told this rude and nasty employee that I have never purchased any water or ice at arco. She said to me well I was just checking. I told her that perhaps she should be asking other people not me and I left the store. This rude and nasty employee is black and she had her hair in a bun. I do not know her name but I am sure you can figure out who she is. I do not appreciate her talking to me in such a rude and nasty manner. I will never buy anything else at arco. You have lost my business, and my fianceeand my friends will never shop at arco either. We will go to your competitors 7 eleven terribles and smiths grocery stores. It was late 10/19 or early 10/20. Not sure since we never got a print out receipt & the store was "closed" according to Arco worker.

We stopped to get gas & use the restroom. My 80 yr old mother asked the only arco worker walking about. He told my mother the store is closed. As my mother turned & was telling me (I was sitting in passenger side w/ door open) we can not use the restroom, store is closed...I can hear the guy saying "asian", "cockroach". I was not sure and did not believe that he would be saying this to my 80 yr old mother's back so I ignored the comment thinking maybe he was talking about something else.
When my husband heard from my mother that the store is closed he made a comment about most gas stations are closed when travelers need to use it the most. The arco worker started making rude remarks like "if you don't believe me it is closed, check it yourself", "you are a man, you can go in the bushes", and I heard my husband said "don't you call my wife names" when he apparently called me "asian [censored]". I did not hear this but my son did which confirmed to me that he earlier called my mother asian cockroach! He provoked violence with my husband by calling him a "pussy" egging him he "won't do nothing" calling my husband a "coward", every other word coming out of his mouth was the "F" word or cuss word, "can't you read, the store's closed!", "You are talking to the wrong guy", saying things like it is not his job to talk to us. My husband said he will report the guy and he should not have this (customer service) job. The arco worker said "go ahead" and file a report and that he will still be working there.
This worker was very brazen so I looked up the rating of this Arco online and found that we are not the first to get this kind of horrific service.
We were going to report to the owner but apparently other customers have already done that and nothing happened. So, this is a formal complaint for corporate to look at.
Often no receipts printed at gas pumps. Poor customer service.
Some others mention of drugs (we were the only customer at the time & did not see this) are common complaints at this particular store from other customers.
This place did not feel like a safe place of business after this encounter.
Owner need to hire quality workers who at least like their job or people.
