I bought a mobile from awok.com and when it reached me it was an open piece which was advertised as NEW. The mobile was charged 45% and all apps were installed on it. I called them to inquire and returned it back to them. They asked to me to wait for 7 days for them to send me a new piece. I was not ready to accept this wait and so I told them to refund me the money. Its now one week and no action taken from them. I called up to inquire and the excuse they are giving me now is that the name on the address and my profile are not matching. they need me to explain to them why it is so. I informed them that as they were sending it to my work address i had mentioned my shop name instead of my name but ultimately i was the one who collected it and returned the piece to them. Till now they have not answered back and it is really very frustrating. further more i wish to add that the piece was packed with a duplicate sticker stuck on the original one. They are cheating the customers with refurnished pieces and thats the reason why they are selling cheaper than the market. Please be careful in dealing with awok.com.

I recently bought a blackberry q10 from awok, (placed order on 28th september and got it delivered on 8th october)
After a few days use some keys on the keyboard is not working and microphone is not hear to other party at times, I called awok and they are saying the warranty is over as the phone is having only 3 days warranty,
They are asking me for a repair cost and pickup cost also.
I bought this item as it was showing 14days return policy and 1 year warranty,
I have bought so many items on souq. com and other online sites but never faced any problems like this.

orro s6 fake duplicate mobile sale to me
I had purchased one orro s6 4g lte dual sim mobile phone awok. com. Against an invoice no.510733. They issued a duplicate mobile which is not getting charge.
Complaint made to the awok site and they pick up the phone for repairing with a charge of 40 aed.
After 16 days the item is not repaired and not delivered back even I make call to their customer care up to 26 times.
Today the phone is returned back without repair and the sim card and battery inside is stolen.
Awok site need to be banned by uae govt as immediate...
There is no value for customer satisfaction and all fake items are they selling.
Please not buy any items from awok. com.

This company awok.com don't care about their customers at all. Lemme state the trademarks of this company.
*they give wrong items. If you don't complain, good for them. If you complain, they will just delay the replacement and will still give you the wrong ones. From my experience, it took 5 months.in the end, they will not give you the item which you have ordered. This is their strategy.
*poor customer service. Complaints must be attended immediately. Not 2 weeks, more so months!
*bad quality products. Simply don't buy from awok.

This was my order on 16th aug. Ordered for 20 items and I was charged 1737 / - (58 / - delivery charges included).
First instance:
I am an avid online shopper and have shopped at many online sites. And after ordering for 20 items worth 1679/-, I shouldn't have been charged for delivery whatsoever. Talked to your customer care, the gentleman explained how it works... Understood.
Second instance:
Ordered lumia 532... Your customer care said not available... You are giving me lumia 635 for the same price... Some consideration... Appreciated. But then show the item at least out of stock.
Third instance:
My order was split in two deliveries, coz the mobile was not available... Accepted. The first delivery was scheduled between 21st-23rd... Called customer care daily.. Response was... Sir today or tomorrow... Next day... Same... Sir today or tomorrow... Again the next day... Sir today or tomorrow... Common guys you are not delivering a baby... Stay put on your promises.
Fourth instance:
Finally finally received the first order today afternoon... Next point to be noted.

The delivery man says on the parcel it is mentioned cash on delivery! (Not his mistake-he was doing what was mentioned)
Called up customer care again... The sweet lady at the other end suggests "that I return the parcel, order the same items again... And wait again for the delivery... And this time we will send card machine"
I was like whhhhaaaaat? I know your delivery takes ages to come... But do I look like a fool to you?... I mean this is utterly ridiculous!
In the middle of my duty... I had to go 3km to the nearest atm... To pay or else the delivery man was ready to snatch the parcel and run away!
Final instance:
After running to atm, paying for the items, was finally excited to see my items.
But horror strikes again! Out of three casio watches, two were simply put in a plastic cover lying at the bottom of parcel... Where is the packing or cases for these watches? No warranty card... No manual... I doubt whether they are genuine! The third casio outgear watch luckily had plastic box, warranty card and manual... But badly damaged box!
I hope you are not running out of packaging material... The way items were stuffed conveyed so...
Well presently awaiting for my second delivery... But have no hopes from your side.
The above mentioned were more like tragedies than instances...
There is tough competition out there people... Buckle up... As after this amazzzzinggg experience with awok... I may not consider you again!

damage items bought and replacement of items take years...
Bought 9 items from awok. Out of 9 items, only 2 are in good condition. The sunglasses that I bought which they claimed to be quiksilver is very far from the original one especially the pictures that they uploaded from their website. The bulgari perfume that they claimed to be original are way too far from the real perfume. It is very evident that they are selling fake items on their website. Mostly are china made. In addition to that, they have the worst customer service as it take years for them to change the items that you sent back to them.
Dint waste your time ordering from them. Yes, they are selling cheap products but the quality also is cheap. Souq is way better than them. This is the first and last time that i will be buying from them.

Their ads are total misleading and the products are all fake.
It irritates when they advertise on one product and that product on the landing page can never be found for that price, or a fixed banner says sold out 24x7.
They use this tactic to get customers to their website but do not understand that this is a nonsense business.
I bought an I phone with 1 month warranty; it stopped working exactly at the 32nd day (Software issue). Which I have taken it to 5 other shops for repair and no one still is able to rectify it.

Too much disappointments with awok!
i placed an order last june 19, (order #[protected]) i received it on the 27th of june. I saw the delivery man holding the big bag of items in one handle and its bumping on the wall and on the floor while he is walking towards me. (it was in my office address since there is no one home that time) the box is totally damage and you can notice that it is not a new item since it is not sealed properly. I ordered 1 pressure cooker, 1 grill pan, 1 blender and chopper. The blender is the only one sealed but the 3 other items were not. I wasnt able to check it properly in the office. I wrapped it right away since its a gift for someone. But when i presented the gift to the person when i got home he was so excited to open the gift but to his disappointment the pressure cooker is broken. I tried to call the customer service right away but since its ramadan they were closed so i decided to send them an email to report the issue. The following day first thing in the morning i called the customer service to report the issue and they told me that they cannot do anything since i reported it the following day! first of all, they know what is their ramadan timings and they will not receive any call that night next thing that customer service agent didnt even ask what happened. (what kind of training does your agents had, they dont even know any procedure for the customer complaint?) so i have to explain everything but no agent can understand me so i have to ask for a supervisor, and ofcourse a callcenter agent spiel "my supervisor will just inform you the same thing" hell i dont care because they might help me better than your spiel. I was able to speak with a supervisor he is so kind and he was able to assist me on what the process would be, my item will be picked up and will be replaced in 1 week after they received it. I ask them when are they going to pick it up, and guess what it took a week to pick up the item when they told me that it will be picked up the following day only. Well, atleast! finally! it was picked up so when they received the item i just have to wait for 7 days to receive the replacement. They pick it up on july 9th and what else should i expect until now i dont have the item. No one is contacting me for follow-up i need to call them again and again and hear the same promises that it will be delivered this week (that was the information 2 weeks ago). Until now i have nothing but disappointments.

Samsung galaxy grand prime (2gold) (White) (Gray) , at first im happy because its only cost 299+delivery charge 17 dirhams, and when the mobile came, I have a lot of problems from the mobile, * the gray one (The memory card slot is not working, so I called for it to make replacement and they said I need to wait for 7 days so I wait for 7 days and the come that it will be delivered when I open it the problem now is that they didn't change for a new mobile they just open it and now the battery of the gray mobile is not for samsung it doesn't fit in that mobile)
*the samsung prime gold (After I wait for 7days of delivery, and when I open it its not new model, its already used and too many scratches and the battery is bloated omg what kind of products is this. So I called for it again and waited 7 days for pick up until now im waiting)
*the samsung galaxy gold (This mobile I can bare with it because only small scratches is in the screen so no problem for this)

Last but not the least. The customer service. Its very very I mean the worst customer service ever, they didn't give priorities for the conplaints, they didn't make any actions, and I just wasted 1268 dirhams for garbage mobile.

They sell law quality chinese fake products and when after receiving you immediately want to return it it takes 1, 5month while calling them everyday and telling the same story every single day.eventually they agreed to return and it took ages to do that process, after what I've suddenly found out that they are not gonna return the delivery money, they return only the item's amount, but as they sell cheap products and the only way they earn money is the delivery money, so the item s amount without the delivery money wasn't much, so I just gave up being incredibly angry that I wasted 35 aed and 2 months from my life.I wish I wouldn't buy that product.

I had ordered some items from awok.com
while checking out, they said to get discount on delivery add upto 250 AED. I did so, but then i found out that delivery discount option has gone, no discount is available. They lied upon this thing. FRAUDS !
Anyhow i placed the order, after 7 days when i called them to followup on my order, they said it will take abt 3 more days. so if you have a lot of time and patience then do order from awok.com, otherwise you will end up with a wish to hit them hard.

For the first time on 8th of may 2016 I used awok.com and placed an order #[protected] with 6 items.
On 11th, I received only 5 items. Out of these 5 items 2 items were damaged and 1 item was wrong color.
And 1 item I did not receive.
I informed about the 2 damaged items and they were collected from me on 15th of may.
I received the pending 6th item through order #[protected] on 14th of may which was wrong item.
I informed about the wrong delivery and it was also collected on 17th may.
21st may I received the replacement of damaged items and to my surprise they were even in worst condition than the first time. The strap of the watch was peeled off and its bits and pieces were all over inside the plastic cover. The other watch had edges chipped.
I could not understand why awok team does not check the item before releasing for courier. If they had seen the items surely they would not have dispatched.
After 2 weeks of ordeal I was frustrated and no more needed replacement but demanded my money back.
I also wanted to know the status of my pending item which I was still waiting for. After several calls and follow-ups I was informed that the pending item is out of stock. Finally about 20 days ago, I demanded a refund for three items plus compensation for wasting my time/effort.
After repeated calls finally they sent me the refund form and informed that in four working days I will get my refund.
Today it has been 18 days since I sent them refund form and till date no refund.
Every time you call awok, the attendant does not have any clue about the case and you have to tell the whole ordeal again. They do not have any customer service manager as they do not believe in customer service.
I request numerous time to get a call from customer service manager but at the most I get call from supervisors who again keep promising but do not deliver.
Today it has been 46 days, since I made my order, neither I have my products nor the refund.
I can provide each and every proof of all what I mentioned above.
Therefore awok.com is the most unprofessional and unreliable company I ever encountered.

Hi all, my name is arindam & based out of karama dubai. Let me to add myself in this circle. Yes all the allegations are 101% true & real. I'm also one of the poor customer who has been cheated by awok.com. During my 2016, i purchased a mobile "motolife n6 plus" where in the spec. It was mentioned that the storage capacity is 8 gb and it has micro sd card facility. But when i started downloading apps & when it reaches 4gb, i found next not a single small size app is not storing there" system showing insufficient space" then i bought one microsd card & inserted into the slot, & i found sd card is not detecting. The handset they sold was full of manufacturing defective piece, but when i put the same card into my nokia set, it was detecting easily. I raised complaint, the guys has picked up my handset & after three days returned back to me with the same condition. It was my first shopping experience at awok.com and it was terrible.
I ordered 5 items online using credit card on delivery. All the items were okay except one (Nicer Dicer). It was broken. The delivery was on Thursday evening, and by that time their customer care working hours were over. They also do not work on Friday, so I had to complain on Saturday 14th May.
They processed my request and sent a courier guy to pick up the faulty item. After 7 days I got a parcel as a replacement. When I opened the parcel it was the same broken item.
When I called customer care to question about this nonsense, they said as per the company policy, customer need to complain on very same day of delivery. Which was not possible for me as I explained above.
After that I have still not got any response from them even after reminders.
They also sell refurbished items which customers might think as new.
So BEWARE about such scam and do not fall into trap by paying your hard earned money - even if it is not material.

Awok is a cheater company, there return policy is very bad if you places order outside the UAE. I placed SR: 250 mobile order its defected and i raise complaint to return they write we have to sent at their location by courier by our expense then they will consider returned after inspection. Shipping cost from KSA to Dubai SR 100 or more it means we have to pay another SR: 100 for returned.
This is their mistake and pay us.
I suggest to all never purchased from AWOK special from KSA. They sell defective items.

Just visit Sharjah website if u ordered from sharjah lodge the complain with complete details in description and upload the documents of invoices as attachments then wait and relax coz this is UNITED ARAB EMIRATES one of the safest and fast responsive governig authorities in whole world. Somebody will study ur case and contact you if ur complaint is legal and true by nature. Action will be taken just try to get the mobile number of manager of awok to whom the complaint council can contact i had my issues cleared. Hope it will be beneficial for you

cheating, poor service, orders not delivered
Ordered 24 items.
19 was delivered - some poor quality so 8 returned.
Now we have 5 not delivered here 8 days later, and 8 returned items.
AWOK refused to cancel the order of the outstanding 5 items - 2 days ago.
We make another order of 5 pcs.
2 was attempted to be delivered, but due to a lazy driver whos excuse was that he was parked illigally and left, they did not get delivered. He was staying in our reception and did not want to deliver in our appartment. I had to get dressed before I went down to the reception. I was there with the money in hand when he left.
We call AWOK to cancel everything.
The customer experience in this call, as in the other calls was, was a farce.
The room the poor girls sits in is so noisy she can not hear what I say and I can not hear what she says.
But finally we got the message through: cancel everything we are done buying from AWOK.
Last time my wife called them I could hear the guy in the other end.
She tried to cancel the 5 items outstanding. He kept saying the delivery was free and did not respond to the cancel request. Either extremely stupid guy or AWOK instructs them to act like imbeciles when customers try to cancel an order.
Now we will start the next battle: getting our outstanding 100 aed refunded.

I have ordered 5 mobiles phone for AED 1 each in the night, next day morning sales team confirmed the order and deducted the money from my credit card. Later in the afternoon they sent a email saying i cannot order restricted items and removed 4 mobiles from my order. Till now i am fighting with them that it was their system mistake which allowed me to add 5 mobiles so they should compensate and send me the mobiles which i ordered and on top of it if they don't want to compensate then they should have made refund on the same day but till now no refund. Requesting a call from them and every time sales executive makes a return call and says i cannot help on that and will escalate your issue to supervisor. The supervisor is not willing to call may be because he knows that its their system mistake and more over they are not replying to email complains as well.

Hello I have ordered self balancing wheel from awok.com for aed 199 and I wanted a refund so they took my product back and after 2 weeks they called and said refund is not available so I said bring my product back. They said okay and after couple of days I got my product back but as it came back it was damaged and not charging so I called them more than 10 times and they said that they will give me a call back I did not get a call back for more then 1 week at last they called me and I said my problem and they said I had to pay dhs 180 for repair and I said you people had destroyed then why should I pay? They were very rude.

Recently ordered one samsung galaxy grand prime phone with the serial number of "rf8gc603jdd" and the invoice number of "[protected]". When I verified it found that there was some issues with the display as the images are not clear and it doesnt show the true colour of images. Then sent an email to [protected]@awok.com as well as called them, they informed me that they will arrange courier for this issue to pick up the faulty phone and provide good phone. As mentioned, they collected it but after two days they delivered the same faulty phone to me as a replacement one and not resolved that display issue. Then again and again I am sending mail to them, they will just come and collect this faulty phone and after two days they will deliver the same phone to me in new plastic cover.
Today received fourth time the same faulty phone from awok.com and dont know what to do with this kind of peoples.

We order laptop, it is tagged refurbished, and when we open it, it looks so used with too much scratch so we decided to return it, it takes five days before they pick up the product, it is already paid, they didn't give back the money, we asked for a new item to replace it and it's already 2 weeks past and we don't have any update about it, i keep calling the customer service but they keep on telling that, they will send a report about that but until now, no update for that order.

I order two 10 inch balance wheels (Black and blue)from this website on the 13th of march using my credit card for aed 1, 398. On the 16th of march they delivered the one with the wrong colour and said no stock available - you better take what we give you... Very very rude.
