Unethical behaviour
My name is Sheriza Ramkissoon, and I am very very very disgusted by Big Lots online service. I have been trying to order online two weeks now and I have been unsuccessful.I have been given a set of ridiculous reasons such as my address not matching my bank card address, I am not purchasing for personal use etc.
Big lots have flagged my bank card and have refuse to let me purchase items online. I was told that the items can not be purchase because it is not for personal use. If I am purchasing one item each (only three items in my cart) how can they assume I am not purchasing for personal use. I am NOT buying TWENTY OF THE ITEMS.
The items are not available in a store close by and therefore my only means of getting these items are online purchase.
Their customer service sucks and I will like this matter to be investigated.
Please note that this is considered unfair and unethical and I will take this matter further if necessary.

Billing Stay away from Big Lots credit cards
I payed in full my credit card in September through the automated system that let's you pay the full amount. Today I got a call saying that I owed 77.00 because my I missed 50 cents and that was late. I canceled my card and closed the account because I felt scammed I never received a statement saying I owed 50 cents. It was ridiculous that they would try to get money that wasn't owed
Desired outcome: Better costumer service and to warn people about this dirty business

I purchased this recliner, maybe a month ago, I am a senior and twice it has tipped me over, and now the fabric is coming out from the seat, its only me sitting in it, no roughhousing etc. I am very disappointed as years ago I bought a love seat and sofa from you all and it lasted me for ever. I did not get no warranty on this recliner as I was sure it would be a good product, I am very dissatisfied. I purchased it from Elizabethtown KY store, I probably do not even have the receipt any longer as I felt sure I would not need it.

Looked on line for Wilson & Fisher Copper 3x LED Solar 10-Piece Pathway Light. The Big Lot in Lake Havasu City AZ was suppose to have 3. When we got there none was on the shelf and the staff claimed they had 6 in the back that was in a recent shipment and they would call us. Never happened so we ordered it to pick up curbside and the email I received said the have NONE ! Really?

I have been attempting to get a defective recliner replaced since beginning of July. So far, no real response after multiple emails and phone calls (Also EXTENDED time in hold). One of the 2 recliners we purchased does not return to upright position. I have also contacted Lane furniture and was told to go threw the retail store. I purchased them online.
What can I do to get satisfaction on this claim?

I'm a longtime, frequent shopper at all of your locations. However, today I was at the Charleston, WV store. My check was declined. As I've had issues with my bank at your stores before I asked for my check to be tried again. Donna, service lead, was very rude. As she was walking toward me she informed me loudly "if it bounced there's nothing we can do". As if that situation isn't embarrassing enough, I appreciate her including the rest of the customers. I will never shop that store again even though it's less than 1 mile from my home. She then asked me to call certegy myself due to the fact she'd been on hold 6 minutes

I purchased my sofa on October 7th, and it broke on Christmas morning. The frame board under one of the seats, (the board supporting the springs) split in two at a knot. It didn't last three months. I tried to repair it myself, as Big Lots wouldn't take it back after 30 days, but I can't fix it. So now I am out money and still don't have a sofa. Part of this sofa is cardboard. The quality of this products is awful.

My name is Rebecca Villanueva, I writing you because on October 15, 2020 at approximately 2:00 pm in the afternoon I was entered your store at 1407 S. Broadway Santa Maria, Ca. as entered the store and i was walking down one of the isle I suddenly slipped and fell on my right knee and the way I fell I twisted my lower back. I purchased a furniture set online & was expecting a delivery. I noticed that I didn't receive and email & once I logged back into my account I noticed it was canceled without my knowledge. I called customer service he said the email went out but I still to this day have no record. I'm still waiting on my payment to be refunded and it's been 5 days.

Pearl Mississippi. The Service when you get to the register is very bad.
Products at both stores have no prices on most items. When you get to the register usually takes several minutes because of price checks. Today at 3:30 pm I had to wait about 10 minutes to get checked out at the store in Pearl Mississippi. Lots of times your food products are expired dates on them.
I guess I will just go to Walmart at Dollar General from now on.
Service
The stores Circleville and Chillicothe Ohio is a joke. Was in there yesterday needing assistance and they acted like they didn't know anything. Chillicothe waited on management and the person never came up. I used to frequently shop there through the years and received excellent service. I ended up going to Walmart. I am saddened over the service I received but husband won't let me go back.
