Care.com senior home care services

Care.com closed my account for no reason at all. before I even got to finish signing up completely, I received an email saying your account has been terminated for no liable reason at all. I have a legit business that is registered with the IRS so I was really confused. Waste of time. Don't even bother. Will be sharing my complaint with social media.

Care.com the billing is ridiculous

I was billed premium membership (over $150) last September 2017 after I signed up for premium service in the fall of 2016. I have never used this service other than to briefly respond to emails in September 2016. I went online last fall and canceled yet it still says it's billing me for another year until September! This is utterly ridiculous. I have been unable to speak with a single person over the phone. I have not used their service and I will not be using their service. Why can't I cancel my expensive membership? They are a scam.

Care.com scam/unethical behavior

I joined care.com hoping to find work as a college student home for the summer. I spent a hundred something dollars on the background check and 3 month membership. All I have received is scam after scam. I contacted care.com one week after creating my account and said I wanted money back and my account to be closed. It is now three months later and they are billing my credit card and not giving my money back. No help from any customer service. I'm completely appalled

Care.com unauthorized credit card charges

This company is horrible.. Cant reach a person and no where a number to reach anyone.. Website very unfriendly... Always showing "unknown error".. Worst website I have used in a while... Wantede to cancel when I was billed again, and no where could I reach a number or person... The worst! Todays date is 5/29/2018. The website never allows you to even contact on it a complaint or an issue... It was very deceiving to a person not knowing of this website... Should have checked this company out first..

the worst ever... So glad I could complain about this company and hope other people will not have this experience with this company...They were horrible.. Never a person to talk to or a number to call... Charged again for a month of use... Cant cancel... Always shows "unknown error" Really? Worst website ever...

Care.com looking for a babysitter for my 3 year old son.

I literally just signed up for Care.com to help me with the care of my 3 year old son. I simply needed a little bit of help with him from the hours of 4 - 6 pm until I got home from work.

Without any reasoning whatsoever, I received an email stating that my membership had been terminated.

I am not a criminal, have no criminal record and am very close to becoming a single father. Trying to find some help with my son was paramount. Why on Earth would they have randomly cancelled my still non-existent search for help with my son.

I find this to be extraordinarily bad form. But I, like the other person on here, should feel that this is me dodging a bullet. Any service that would act in this manner is not one that I would think I would care to do business with. I mean what else would they just "do" out of the blue.

But I must say, shame on all of you. What right do you have to do such an incredibly dumb thing. If there were any grounds that you could stand on, that would be one thing. But there is NOTHING, that would warranty such an action.

Anyway, I wish you the best of luck with a truly horrific business model and appalling "customer service" I hope that since my membership was less than 24 hours old you have refunded my money!? Somehow I seriously doubt they did, or will. Now that is not a GOOD business model, but I would suspect that it would be extremely profitable. Charge people for something and provide them with nothing.

Care.com scams

I have applied for many jobs, and paid for 3 months to be on here.
The only responses I've had are scams, 2 scams just today. Are there any real jobs on here? I'm very disgusted with this site. I didn't pay good money to have all this garbage, phone calls etc. I was really not in a position to put money out for this. If I don't have something real come out of this, I will expect a refund.

Care.com posts fake jobs all the time to make job seekers think that there are a lot of jobs available in your area. Look at how many postings do not have photos of the family nor children and are very generic. Care.com changes the rules all the time also so that you can apply for a job but then have to buy the premium membership to allow the family to see your application. It is a total scam. There are many other legitimate agencies where you can find job opportunities.

Care.com scam texts

I don't know how, but scammers are getting a hold of phone numbers on Care.com. This is strange because there's no place to even post it and it is blocked when you message it to someone. They only way to reach someone is through the app. Well, I am constantly getting scam text messages, even when I block that number, it comes from another! They all say about the same thing: my name is "blank". I need your services or my boss needs your serices. KINDLY email them at "blank". The easiest way to spot it is if they use that word "kindly". It's getting creepy, ridiculous, and I don't know how to stop it.

Care.com unsubscribe my account

I've signed my profile on the website in January 2018, so almost three months ago and it's a premium account, Can$ 39.00 and it's renewing automatically every 3 months.
Since a month ago, when I noticed it wasn't working for me I've been trying to cancel my subscription.
On the Terms of use is a link explaining how to cancel the account.
So, I followed all the steps and it didn't let me cancel my account.
Actually, I wrote few messages asking why I can't cancel my account and told the company that I don't want to be renewing the payment for their services.
They never answer my questions and I can unsubscribe my account.
Hey, look it I don't want use CareZen Family services anymore. Thank you!

I have tried and tried to get my problem resolved. I sat for hours with multiple chat people just for them to tell me they can't help me or that they will look into it. It has been over a month. They charged my card and said that it never happened. I sent a photo of the monies being taken out. They still insist that they never got paid and I can't get into my account.. I have sent at least 10 emails...only 1 reply saying they will hold my account until paid. when i explained I did pay and that they took my money,,I have never heard back.

I had to contact my card holder and put in a dispute about an action on my card and now they will contact the CareZen to resolve it. as they said it was charged to my account.. It's alot of trouble and noway to resolve.

Good morning. Tried my best to unsubscribe from CareZen Family Solutions and companies but they do not comply with Canadian internet standards as they NEED to provide a link to unsubscribe at the bottom of each of their email as well as on their own site. They prefer to use a third party located in the USA which are only in existence to build a database on people so they can sell it to whoever pays for them.

Though it has become a general practice, the Canadian Gov't among several others which includes ARIN terms and conditions to supply a DIRECT LINK to unsubscribe for unwanted emails. A formal complaint with the BBB is going to be sent in a short while. Enough is enough.

Care.com child care

Hi, my name is Sultana Rahman and I have recently bought credits as a carer to find someone to babysit. However I have gotten no replies and no signs of rejection? I will complain if I don't receive my money back. I feel like this is a scam and a waste of my money. I have wasted hours and hours trying to find someone to care for but no luck. I was seeking for a job to take care of my family but now I feel hopeless. Can anyone help?

I signed up for one month membership to find a tutor. I thought once the month was up, I will have to approve monthly charges just I did when I originally signed up. To my surprise, they automatically charge you the monthly fee unless you cancel 24 hours before the charge. They should send a reminder that the membership is up for renewal to alert us to either continue or cancel on time.

Care.com paid for a month and they have continued to charge me.

I used a discount code to pay for one months membership, half price, to care.com in November 2018. I had no idea they would continue to take full price payments monthly thereafter from the same card. My card details have been retained for monthly payment when, to my knowledge I had only joined for one months membership. The card I used for the one off payment has since been charged again twice. I have had to put a block on them taking payments as I do not have the funds and it seems to be difficult to end your membership online.

It is not at all clear how to completely end your account with this company. This is very alarming. I would like to completely remove myself and all my details from their company.

Care.com charging my account on the pretence of membership

I signed up one month premium for care.com october 2017 and recieved zero benefit doing so because the website makes it so difficult to talk to people you want to consider hiring directly. It takes hours trying to create the connection.

I gave up after a few days and atopped using the site. I just found out that they have been charging my account for november and december.

When i contacted care .com through email because that the only way, i got a generic response about the faxtbthat i downloaded their app on my phone through apple and that makes me montly member.
I am outraged. No where was it made clear to me that that would be the case.
This company is a complete sacam!
I am going to report them to business burea and All news channels.

Care.com bad customer service

I paid to have my back ground check multiple times on care.com they claimed I put the wrong date of birth but I did not put the wrong date of birth in they kept charging me multiple times. Then a few months ago I was babysitting for this single father that ended up being a complete nut job. I had to have the police come to my home and take a police report because the guy was actually stalking me and sexually harassing me on the phone. I even had my checking acct changed because there were fraud purchases made. My husband has to eskort me outside our ondo at night because i've been scared. Care.com decided to terminate my profile and told me they could not tell me why they terminated my account but I know it was him and its my account I have the right to know. I told them that the guy got upset and probably complained about me because I quit on the spot which I had every right to for my safety. When I was at his house the very last time i'm pretty sure he wrote down my license plate number which is how he was following me around. His house was unsanitary and a pig sty. Care.com had no right to take his word for it since I had to go to the police about this guy and he goes and has my account terminated and care.com just goes and takes his word for it. Thst is wrong and horrible. It makes me sick to my stomach the customer service on this site has been known to have many problems. I was working as a nanny for many years and then they go and make me look bad. Over the years I dealt with a lot of crazy families to the point where I quit being a nanny a few months because I can't take it anymore and now I have a really good administrative assistant job. I had to call my credit card company because care.com kept charging me even though they terminated my profile and I can no longer make an account with them. Who do they think they are?!

Care.com terminated account for no reason

This is ridiculous...this website is horrible. I paid for a criminal check last night and passed with flying colors, everything was perfect (as expected, since I am very responsible). Earlier today I received an email that my account was terminated after I had applied for a few jobs, this happened for no reason. I am very responsible and have recently decided to find a new job that could accommodate my hours and thought care.com would be perfect for that. Do not waste your time and money, do NOT pay for any extra services (it is a marketing rip off). Also I find it so disrespectful to just terminated an account without giving the person an explanation as to why. Avoid.

Hi, I'm writing a complaint on behalf of my account being permanently suspended. All the time I took in creating my profile to become a care provider was completely wasted because of our corrupt legal system still having an impact on my life. I am well aware it was because of my background check, which is why I have a lawyer trying to help me with that as he believes I was being mistreated by law enforcement, and that they should have never put that charge on me. During that time I was a victim of domestic violence and the abuser got away clean. The police did not consider anything wrong with the him at the time when he was selling drugs and running a prostitution ring. The abuser dumped urine all over my head and was holding me hostage, but I received an assault charge because I finally defended myself against him. That charge got dismissed. I was also was given a disorderly conduct charge when I was not being disorderly. I was traumatized. There is a difference. I called the police asking them to help me leave which they did not do. They traumatized me and treated me like a criminal and brought me to jail. I stated I did not want to go to jail for defending myself against my abusive drug addicted ex boyfriend who was preventing me from leaving the premises. I did not want to go but I still cooperated. There was no resistance from what I can remember and even if there was, it does not matter because I was a victim who instead should have been taken to the hospital or the psych ward, a place where people seem to care more about humanity. Sadly I had nobody to talk to. Not even the police recommended anything or considered looking at anything through my perspective. They did not care what happened to me. I was traumatized and crying for help and received none. So in conclusion I was given disorderly because I was afraid and traumatized of going to jail after calling the cops because I was being abused. The police abused me and violated me. The abuser did not get charged with anything. Today he has a bad record he is dealing with and is still causing trouble. I was a vulnerable adult suffering heavy psychological trauma while being abused. I apologize I don't check my email on a regular basis, and that I did not put my life on hold for Care.com's convenience. I think maybe that is a standard that should be revised possibly. I have spent $100 to get certified in first aid and cpr to show how dedicated I am to the values your company holds for being a sufficient care provider. Today I am clean. I have a 4.0 in college and made it on the Dean's list. I quit smoking cigarettes too and plan on starting my own company in the near future and/or study medicine. In addition to that, I have taken almost all the psychology classes my 2 year community college has to offer and have spent a lot of my life studying psychology in my free time. I don't think most of our law enforcement has done that. Anyway, the majority of my problem is because of my account being permanently suspended. I don't think it was right of your company to completely close my account in defense of a wrongly accused charge on a victim. In the future, I suggest preventing accessibility to a users account instead of just taking it away permanently. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

I hope you would please consider giving me the opportunity to be a care provider and look beyond our corrupt criminal justice system. If you could give me some time to call sterling infosystems to resolve this issue I would appreciate it very much. I worked with babies an hour a day at my schools daycare in high-school and I got along with all of the young kids at the church I used to go to for a long time. I'm doing the best I can to get justice for myself.

Care.com babysitting services

My daughter was working for a Charleen Hampton. She recently moved to Augusta Ga from Missouri. She promised my daughter 500$ for the month of November. And because she put in her three weeks notice. She hasn't received her pay for November. My daughter would work 12 days I a row with one day off and her employer isn't willing to pay her. How does that deem right and how does your company resolve these issues.

Care.com paid $39.00 to join this group to find a tutor

I joined 11/13 for one month to find a tutor and I have contacted 5 people and not one has responded after 3 days even though they say they will respond in 24 hours. It like a big black hole, no one to call and no one to provide help. I seriously believe this is a big scam to get peoples money and the people who post information on website are not current. I have tried to call Care.com and I cannot find one phone number on their official website site to call for assistance. I would either like $39. credited to my account or for a tutor in differential equation to contact me.

Care.com service

I joined for the trial membership at Care.com and have now been charged for quarterly memberships without permission. The website doesn't even provide customer service information and there's no way to reach anyone to get my credit card removed. I have no way to rectify the situation if I can't reach a person and there phone number has no option to speak to anyone about your account. How do I resolve this situation?

Care.com making a claim against care.com

Hi
I joined care.com two months ago to find a nanny and I only joined for one month and your company still taking money out of my account. Thankfully I realized today and stopped it by my bank but this is a true rip off and since I am a solicitor I am going to take it further and put a formal complaint against your company. You have to pay money back for two months which is a £70. Shame on you and your company for steeling people money this way. I will make sure no one ever trust your name on internet.

Care.com child care

I must not have read the fine print...didn't expect to have to be so careful with a company that says they Care.
I had a very difficult time stopping the recurring charges to my card and when It finally stopped I was only refunded 1 month (they admitted guilt) but still got me for 2 months. BEWARE!
I'd keep looking elsewhere for any help with your children.
I was kind of in a tight spot and made a hasty decision.
