40 gig promotion with mobile wi-fi
I went for an upgrade on my contract for LTE internet service. On the promotion it had 40gigs pm + free mobile Wi-Fi and flexi black.
I signed the contract and noticed on the app I'm on a 10gig smart data plan which is annoying as on the promotion it states 40gigs pm. On my contract it breaks down as 10gigsdata, 7, 5% subscription fee discount for smart data 10gb, 10gb free data bundle prorate, 10gigs free gigabits bundle for smartdata.
I understand the 10gb turning the day and 10gb at night. I'm not sure what happens to the other 20gb?
I find it very insensitive that cell c would do such a thing to make it seem like a person is getting more for less but in actual fact a person is getting way less than what is being promoted. There is no difference between telkom and cell c all are just a headache when it comes to just simply selling what is actually being offered

cell c summit phone
I bought a cell C summit phone.
the phone is now absolutely useless and unusable because of the CONSTANT POPUP ADVERTS that appear on my phone.
the phone is slower than snails pace because of this and also using all my data, which is in essences CELL C stealing my data.
I am not happy with this and unless I get assistance or an answer how to remedy this and completely irradiate these adverts I am going to take this issue to the press.

I have been calling and emailing Cell-C C Surance about my phone repair claim since 2 August 2018. During my 5th follow up call do I only then find out that they still need from me a completed Claim Form and a copy of my ID document.
During the entire month that this claim has been standing and not one person has the customer service or common decency to notify me that these documents are still required before repairs can commence.

overcharged on invoice/unauthorized debit orders/fraudulent activity
Overcharged on Invoice: My husband continuously received messages stating that his phone will be cut if he did not pay his account. We continuously called in to say that he was up to date but the amount was still deducted. I have all the statements that reflect that he has overpaid.
Unauthorized debit orders: My debit order goes off on the 6th of a month because that's when the funds are available but they doing it at the beginning of the month, every time I try rectify it the person I speak to says it's done but then it happens again. Then the debit it again later in the month and each time there are no funds I get charged R70.
They have now cut my phone and I have been told to go into a shop to have it re-activated.
Fraudulent activity: My daughter's phone which is in my name as she is a minor has been defrauded. She received a call from a "cell c agent" requesting the otp number that was sent to her phone, she obliged as she thought it was an agent and her account was upped to R4200 which was immediately spent on data. I have reported this countless times but keep on getting the same response. This amount was increased AFTER I put a limit of R50 on her account, in fact, this limit was put on and I asked that it be strictly adhered to when I first got the account for her.
So, I received the exact same response as before from Cell C on the Complaints Board. I think it's automated. I have emailed them twice and have had no reply.
Today I received an sms saying the my account is in arrears and will be suspended. I called in and spoke to yet another consultant, explained the situation, yet again and he made notes on their system, yet again. My phone was cut anyway. I called the call centre again and this time I asked to speak to management. I was put through to the supervisor, Evangeline. I repeated the entire story to her, YET AGAIN. She has told me that she will get back to me before 5pm today...YET ANOTHER PROMISE HAS BEEN MADE. Now I wait... YET AGAIN.
If this is not sorted out by 5pm today then I will be cancelling all dealings with Cell C.
If I receive another automated response to this message I think I will scream.
TO WHOEVER FROM CELL C READS THIS MESSAGE... YOU HAVE ALL THE INFO THAT HAS APPARENTLY BEEN ESCALATED, REPORTED, REGISTERED AND NOTED ON YOUR "SYSTEM" SO DO NOT RESPOND OR CALL UNLESS YOU HAVE A SOLUTION!
I received a call on the 30th of August with promises of resolutions.
It took an entire week before I received another call, being today, from a different agent following up on the first email, like he knew nothing of what my complaints were. In my frustration I asked what of my 3 issues had been solved and none of them have been solved but was told that I would receive a call TODAY from another department that would sort something out... still waiting for that call. I have now, out of desperation, sent another email which says:
Yet again was promised a call back and still waiting.
Yet again was promised my Cell C accounts to be sent to me via email and still waiting.
Yet again was promised feedback with regards to the fraud case and still waiting.
Received a call today from yet another agent who asked me the same questions as the previous countless agents but had no feedback as to what the resolutions were.
I would like a call from the first person that responded to the first email.
NOTHING has been resolved except that the debit order has been stopped so that Cell C doesn't debit my account every 5 seconds.
You have until close of day tomorrow to call me with real feedback otherwise I WILL BE TAKING THIS FURTHER.

cancellation of contract
I cancelled a Cell C contract as it came to a end. Cell C is still deducting the subscription. I phoned again and now they say it will take another month so its cost me 1200 rand for a service I am not using anymore. This time I insisted on a Ref number lets see...
I just find it very unprofessional as it was supposed to be cancelled the first time I asked. I spoke to a guy by the name of Thabo who helped me the second time hopefully he will cancel it this time my Ref number is [protected]

fraudulent / unauthorised debit order deductions while under dispute
I have repeatedly (telephonically) reported the incorrect, unauthorised and fraudulent deductions by Cell C off my Cell C contract ABSA debit order but the matter is not being resolved. The details are as follows:
• Contract: Pinnacle 50
• Credit limit: R 183-18 p.m.
• Involuntary migration from GLOCELL to Cell C in July 20018 (Things seem to have gone totally wrong in Cell C's admin department during this process).
• (Not a single invoice has been received from Cell C despite my details having been confirmed several times)
• First fraudulent deduction: R 6501-42 on 15 / 08 / 2018 from my bank account via my debit order.
• I telephonically reported to Cell C - they said they would investigate and revert back to me and send invoices - nothing received to date.
• I reversed the debit order payment via my ABSA internet banking, pending feedback from Cell C.
• Telephonically contacted by Cell C - Thendile Kubeka on 22 / 08 / 2018, they said they would investigate and revert back to me and send invoices - nothing received to date.
• Second fraudulent deductions: R 5000-00 and R1501-42 on 24 / 08 / 24 Ref. NAEDO TRACKED DO CELLC SP*0/[protected]*060 and SP*0/[protected]*060.
• Telephonically reported the status to Cell C - Londiwe on 26 / 08 / 2018, she confirmed the issue was under investigation and Cell C would contact me, she also undertook to send invoices - none received at this time.
It is shocking that Cell C can deduct any amounts from customers' debit orders without justification and while a matter has been reported and is under dispute - this borders on criminality / fraud!
I respectfully request that this matter can be resolved and that I am reimbursed without further delay. I would also like to request the cancellation of my contract (without any penalty to me) as I have no confidence in Cell C being able to run a prudent business. Failing this, I will have to resort to formally pursuing this matter in a legal way.

I recently lost my phone (huawei p10 lite) which I claimed for, now my issue is I am suddenly forced to take a phone I do not want because the whole of South Africa suddenly doesn't have the phone I want. I paid my premium every month without fail and in my time of need Csurance do not care I either take what THEY can give me or they cannot help me. It is not fair how you conduct your business when you want people to take your product you do everything right say the right things and now when it is time to deliver my needs and wants do not matter. I do not like nor do I intend to use any other brand of phone, I will take the phone I had or P smart but nothing else.

We had wifi installaed in our house on the 24th October last year on 3 months special and since then the accounts department has not debited the correct amount or on time and did not give us the 3 month special. We have fought with Cell C from November last year. There is no one you can actually speak regarding a complaint. and there is no customer service or customer satisfaction.
Cell C does not give a damn regarding inconveniencing there client or even frustrating them through the roof.

Contract
My mom Catharina Swanepoel was offered a contract whilst unemployed. She told agent she was unemployed but the next day my mom received cell phone from cell c. Whereby I decided to take over contact due to my mother being unemployed. Since I wrote a letter that my account are debited each month on the 15th of every month my problems started. My account was debited sometimes 4 times at once. I reversed debit orders because it was not date that was arranged. At the end of May 2018 my mom and I went into Cell C branch at Springs Mall. I asked what is total amount outstanding on both contracts. Whereby he (the agent) gave me the 2 amounts and I still asked if he is sure after the amounts get paid that I'll be up to date and he confirmed that. I paid amounts given to me the following day. After that I paid my contract amounts of R140 and R40 for data contract. Cell C still tried to debit different amounts on different dates that was arranged. I reversed again because account was up to date according to their agents. After debiting my account again and again we phone another agent to cancel contracts whereby we were informed that I only need to pay R202 for both contracts to be cancelled. I paid R202 the following day. Last week 3 debit orders went off again what I reversed once again because contract was cancelled and agent told me there is no arrears. I paid more than R450 up to date to reverse debit orders that is fraudulently taken from my account. My instructions of 1 debit order on the 15th of each month was ignored and they debit whenever they want and total different amounts what my contracts actually are. That is fraud because they can't do as they please. Please help me because up to now they still claim im in arrears and still try to debit my account regularly.

Continuous debit order deductions against my bank account although my account is closed with Cell C
I had a Cell C contract with insurance cover, which to my knowledge, came to its end early this year. I am unsure of the exact contract period, start and end date, as I never received the contract details from Cell C. This was a phone application in the first place. So after the contract coming to end Cell C continued to run the debit order instruction against my bank account resulting in me having to stop payment every month for the contract fee as well as the insurance fee. I have tried to contact Cell C numerous times to get this matter resolved and closed for once and for all but I get transferred from 1 to the other department, having to hold on the line endlessly. This costs me a lot in the end and I still cannot get my issue handled. They also keep changing the debit order amount to get payment through my account which is turning out to be extremely frustrating. I just want all of this to get sorted out and stopped, please.

Hey. Im really pissed about cell c's [censored]ty service. I have been using my sim card for more than 3 years now.. I receive phone calls sms's everything on a daily basis and yesterday it was just deactivated. No warning sms nothing! I went to a cell c branch in logh logan waterfront in bloemfontein but they were beyond useless! Just called you guys on customer care and the guy said that my sim was permanently deactivated. When I asked why they couldn't even give me an answer?! So I told the lady then its fine I just want a new sim card then, but then she started with [censored] like I need a affidavit! For [censored]ing what!? I just wanted a new sim.. So I went to pep stores and I buy a new one.. She rica it for me.. But still nothing. So I called you guys now just so that you can tell me its not riccad.. Why dont you give the guys decent training!? This is sooo [censored]ing useless! Why is was my simcard deactivated in the fist place! My number that was deactivated is [protected]. Thank you and [censored] you! Im moving to mtn! No wonder almost everybody is with mtn. In 2017 around July I started getting debit orders from CellC, I would go to the bank and Reverse or block them.
But then after a 2 months or so the debit orders would occur with a different value.
I then approached (OR Tambo international) to enquirer about then issue.
they said I should go to the police and make an affidavit, go to the bank get my statement and send the documents to them.
I did that but then nothing was done about that. CellC Kept on debiting my account.
It got to point where I had to change my banking account.
I had to go to the police station and open a case/get and affidavit again.

I took them time, but they said they had closed the case.
My issue is I keep getting notifications that I owe CellC, and I have been handed to credit Bureau.
I called CellC [protected]) again somewhere in July, I was told the system was faulty, it keeps activating the account. I was told this was going to be solved in two days.

But I still receive notifications that I owe CellC.
I cant even apply for credit because of this.

refund not received for two months
Hi, My name is Veronica and I have a contract with the abovementioned service provider. When upgrading my contract about two months ago (which was successful) however, funds were debited from my account (in error) and since then I have been calling the service provider and been taken from pillar to post with no positive assistance. Every time I contact them I receive a different call center agent with different answers and different reference numbers. I need my funds returned to my account as this is really frustrating and incompetent from a big brand as CELL C.

After being moved from Altec to Glocel i have receiving such a poor service, i have requested cancellation of contract when my contract expired last year, i have sent all the required documents. after so long i have never received anything but never bothered because my contract was successfully cancelled, recently this year i am receivibng statement from their office demanding payment of monthly subcription and insurance which all i cancelled. i tried in vain to contact them and sent countless emails to their office but they decided to hand me over to the so called "NBA", now they are demanding payment of R 3396.48

I have contacted Cell C numerous times with regards to a refund they should have made. I spoke to various consultants, I had to phone them and follow up. They eventually put my money on my Cell C account as credit which I didn't ask for. I asked them to pay the money back into my account, this has been going on for three months now they have already deducted the money from my account twice (for July and August) Each time I get into contact with a consultant they tell me they will get back to me and help me, I have to repeat my story each time to a new consultant because they never phone me back. I told them that the calls are recorded so they should listen to my previous calls as I did not request the money to be put on Cell C account as credit and they just kept telling me that they don't have access to the recordings. My contract requires me to pay a small fee each month the reason being that I am a student, having double the amount been taken out of my account and then just keeping it for months until it can be deducted is not acceptable. I used to think Cell C has outstanding service until they had a problem with paying back my money. I wouldn't recommend anyone to Cell C and I'm canceling my contract as soon as possible.

when i checked my credit score i discovered a cell c account that was opened under my name and i have never opened an account at cell c nor have i ever used a cell network. i want this matter resolved as it affects my credit score in a terrible manner. i also got a call from some debt collectors named "Select online" claiming i am owing cell c about R 35 000 and i was shocked. Please resolve this matter.

I had a contract last year on my number [protected] and my son. I was divorced and was unemployed. I had one month left to pay the last instalment. I gave notice for my contract to be cancelled as it was 24 months. They never cancelled it as they said I must pay the last instalment(which I could not)
It kept on piling up and now they handed me over. I got a job again and want to make a loan to pay of my debt. Now the financial intuition where I wanted to borrow, told me Cel C listed me as paying a monthly instalment of R16000 per month therefore I cannot apply. Immediately assist? Take it off please.

My phone was stolen on Monday 13 August 2018, bought a new phone that day and my Cell c and Vodacom sim cards, called Vodacom that same day to do a sim swop, my sim swop was done that same day, called Cell c till today no sim swop has been done, their agents cant assist me, requested they call their superior to assist me, they told me they are busy they will call me, it has been 4hrs now, I guess they are still busy on their "call".
I just cant understand how the other network could assist me instantly and they haven't till now, it is very important for me to have my old number back, its been a heartache that my phone was stolen, but instead of Cell C making it easier for me by assisting me efficiently, they haven't. Really Cell C is pathetic

My mother submitted a claim for a lost Nokia 5 device on the 30th of June, thereafter asked me to followup on the claim for the following reasons:
the company in question never gives you any feedback voluntarily.
When you contact them you on hold for periods in excess of 40 minutes.
Therefore its unaffordable for a pensioner to constantly be calling a call centre with such a poor service rate. Very strange as they deduct their premium monthly without fail even though they fail to give adequate service.
I've been contacting the company in question weekly from the week the claim was submitted and i'm constantly given conflicting information. Other consultants tell you the claim is valid, and ask for time, others tell you certain documents are missing, which we then resubmit immediately.
The latest problem is that we are now told the claim has been submitted to the underwriters and I should contact them in either 5 days, 2 weeks, or 14 working days the time frame changes of course depending on which consultant you speak to. Whats even more frustrating is you are never given the reason why the claim was sent to the underwriters.
Of course on the 15th of August I snap and demand an escalation, I'm simply then given a complaint mailbox to send an email to, I ask the turnaround time of course im given the run around again. I then demand to speak to a superior, I am told they are busy, I then request an email address to CC them for my complaints. I am told they aren't allowed to provide their emails.
I guess my question is why does the organisation have team leaders and managers provide them with email addresses if they one aren't available to deal with customer complaints and two they cant correspond with irrate clients? More importantly when will the claim of a paying client be resolved?
