Cell C cell c sms send to unknown people

Sir, lady,  

I herewith wish to bring it under your attention that my cellphone network supplier is misusing my cellphone number for some or other reason. I am not certain if it is method of the service providers to get people to deliberately phone you as you have by some or other way sent someone a please call me. I have experienced this type of rip off by vodacom as well as cell c. I find it very annoying that people unknown to me should phone me and tell me that I had called them by please call me. This is very annoying as some people get cross with me for without me having even sent a please call me.I have come to the conclusion that these service providers are doing this on purpose to make people use their airtime by sending out please call me messages. I think it is time that these cellphone providers are investigated for deliberately forcing people to use their airtime. I myself have received many a please call me but I have just ignored them. I smell a rat somewhere as I think that the providers can easily program a computer to send out please call me messages and the providers are smiling all the way to the bank with this action.

Cell C handset problem

Good afternoon, on the 29th December 2017, I went to Protea Glen Mall, to report my phone is not charging and the speaker is very low. I was given forms to go and complete and return on 2nd January 2018 as insurance offices are closed and will open on the 2nd, and I must date forms 2nd and not 29th.
On the 3rd January 2018 I went to Maponya Mall and handed forms in with phone. On Monday the 15th Jan, I received an SMS notifying me that my phone is ready for collection at Maponya Mall. I went to collect it on the 16th Jan in the afternoon. Upon arrival at home, I tried to switch it on, and it would not. I tried to charge it, it still would not. Today the 17th I went back to the branch. Nasr was serving and passed me on to Mirriam, when she was in the middle of printing a insurance forms, that I was still in possession of, she passed me on to Jody. She sat with me for almost an hour trying to disable find my Iphone, I was then told that is the reason my phone was not repaired. After wasting that much time, I was told I have to take it to either The Glen or Cresta Istore branch as I cloud does not allow them to do it and that phone has old software, after that I must take it to any cell c branch. I am just wondering if I will ever get this phone fixed. This is my business phone, I am stuck without it as I am being send from pillar to post, and cannot be assisted with loan phone. I am going back to work tomorrow, I will never have a chance to visit that Cresta or The Glen until the weekend. Why does one have to run up and down for service at cell c. Your response is highly appreciated

Cell C poor service, not willing to help and accused of breaking the phone.

Good day

Yesterday the 9th of January 2018 I visited the cellc shop at the Mall of the north in Polokwane. I upgraded my contract and took a Nokia 8. I got back to work and therefore couldn't export all my contacts, etc immediately. When I got home I immediately started the process of exporting which took about 2 hours. When it was finished I put the phone aside and decided to take a look this morning and change the wallpaper, etc. But when taking a look at the phone this morning I noticed a crack right across the screen, it isn't the actual screen, it is under the screen. I returned to the Cellc shop to show them that obviously it is a factory default. I was treated rudely and they refused to exchange the phone. The phone wasn't taken out of the box in the store and closely inspected by the sales person. Therefore the crack wasn't noticed. The crack is only visible when tilting the phone back and forth. I was treated with a no care attitude. They refused to replace the phone. They wanted me to leave the phone there for a period of about 7 days for assessment. But if they decide they are not at fault I would have to pay an amount to repair the phone. It is clear that it is out of the box factory default. I am highly disappointed with their service and it reflects badly on Nokia. I will never take a Nokia phone again. I always thought Nokia was the best. I have also lodged a complaint with Nokia.

Please assist.

Cell C simm swop

On january 6 2018 I changed 2 vodacom simm cards to a dual cell c because I got a new phone to run my business on one number and my personal business on the other number. Compliments to the staff at cradlestone. They are tops. However, they did explain to me that it will take time to change over. But on the 7th I still had no action. I could not contact customers, my family couldn't get hold of me at a crucial time as my dad was very sick. I just started a new business and couldn't lose any leads. As somebody that doesn't know how to set phones up etc I was told that everything that was on my vodacom simm card will appear on my new phone with it's new cell c simm cards. Not being able to make calls, I tried my computer to get help... Well, I was so surprised not one clear division where somebody from technical could attend to my issue immediately. I am still waiting after I left a message, but listen to the funny part. They only wanted a phone number. Seriously? You are going to phone me on a number that is not connected. Maybe... You should consider taking the staff from cradlestone to run your customer care service and customer care go back to basics and go and work at another branch - just not at cradlestone because that is where I shop and I don't want your crap service there. Come on head office. Competition is stiff. I can always change again. Help me please

Cell C disgusting service from call centre and branch!!! misleading clients

I have lost my phone with my CELLC CONTRACT sim card, I went into the branch at west gate where they advised me it will cost R114 but if I go via the call centre I will pay less, I bought the sim card and then called the call centre, I was instructed to go back to the branch, I went to the branch in centurion as I need to verify my details, I went to the branch to verify and the very same details that was on the system that I gave to the call centre agent but they refused to help me, I was told to call again into the call centre. I called in now to be explained that they cannot do my sim swop unless my account is upto date, I have told them that they can double debit me or arrange a payment immediately but was informed that they can debit but I still need to wait 72 hours, and then call them back, they still refuse to do the sim swop until payment is made, I have my banking linked this nr and operate my business from this nr, so what they doing is illegal as I cannot even excess banking without this number.

Cell C upgrade consultant

30/11/2017 My Daughter was contacted for an upgrade on her phone, she referred Nhlanhla Nkala to me for the contract is in my name. She wanted to upgrade to the iPhone8, my request was that I need the same contract that I currently have - which is a Top Up contract. He confirmedthat is the same as what we currently have. I asked him if it is also a "capped" contract which means to me when data/airtime is finished we can buy and upload it and that it will be a fixed monthly premium. He confirmed yes it is, in their terms it is called a top up line. He also said that I will only start paying end of February 2018 for the new contract therefore we will still receive the current benefits - which was clearly not true. 1st of all, all current benefits were cancelled including the 1GB data I received every month on the current (old) contract, when we tried to upload data - we couldn't. When I phoned Cell C I was told that the new contracts "benefits" are already loaded and the old contract's benefits were cancelled (this was cancelled the day after I spoke to Nhlanhla), secondly I can't upload data because there was a migration done to an open line and you can't load data on that type of contract - which was not disclosed to me. After a long struggle I got hold of Nhlanhla 8/12/2017, he admitted to me that he didn't disclose all information to me (benefits and disadvantages ) - and If I want the contract to be changed to a Top Up contract it will cost me +- R400 per month more - which I definitely wouldn't agreed to if it was offered and explained to me when doing the upgrade.

When I questioned Nhlanhla about the old benefits (which he confirmed will still apply until February) he said that he had to cancel the old contract's benefits in order to do the Migration - but when doing the upgrade he said it will still apply until February.

This is now a month later and yet he didn't do anything about this, I've logged a complaint with Cell C again 27/12/2017 ref nr [protected], but nobody has contacted me. I phoned this morning again, nobody phoned me back.

Resolution to this - I want the contract cancelled with immediate effect without any penalty to me (I requested this on the 8th of December already) or I want the same contract with the same benefits on this line at the same monthly cost of the new contract.

The agent in question was only thinking ant trying to close the sale before month end and did not disclose all necessary detail of the new contract.

Cell C cell phone and tablet

I've received a telephone call today from Mr Kobelo from your office. He ask me for a payment and I told him that I can't afford it anymore and that I am a pensioner. After I told him that I'm a pensioner, he get very rude to me. He told me that my contract and telephone number is cancelled from immediate effect, and threaten that my name is going to be on the blacklist.

I feel very unhappy with the way he treated me after all these years I'm with you.

I want to ask if I can keep my cell no and the tablet number.

Cell C Lack of service and impossible to get hold of them

I ma wanting to cancel my contract with Glocell to enable me to move directly to Cell C as they have better service and far superior services. they also have a larger physical store presence than glocell.

Unfortunately I am unable to contact Glocell on any of their numbers shown on their internet site (084 1234). Glocell's customer interactions have been extremely poor and their service levels are non-existant.

I am requiring assistance in cancelling my contract with them. How do I go about this?

Cell C network

It is now from Cell c got in to the market that we have endless problems with the network, technicians came out and had a look at the issue and to date we keep on wasting our time to spend money with Cell c .

I tried to call my wife today sms whats app yet no luck, so I had to rush home as I could not get hold of her fearing the worst, On my way home I had an accident and have damage to my car all due to the poor network in and around Benoni . This is not on Cell c !

Every time we complain the wonderful staff tells us it is the handset we get the latest and greatest phone on our cost yet no luck !

Get your network sorted or we will can the works

Cell C I am cancelling my contract with cell c

I applied for a 2nd contract with cell c apparently i am not satisfied about the service so i am cancelling it but it took them 3 days to come and collect the cellphone i called on the 14/12/2017 as i received the cellphone on the 13/12/2017 but till today i am still waiting for Ram to collect the cellphone i can not be carrying this cellphone for another day please and if they think i will be paying for it they must think twice because i will not pay for it.

Cell C unethical behaviour

I am not satisfied with the service received @ Alberton City Cell C branch.

we were shunt around, being spoken to extremely rudely & with no respect from 2 of the ladies, whom to us looked like they had no idea what they were doing.
providing false information and being too lazy to go onto the system.

Cell C customer service over the phone is also extremely weak and lousy!

What happened to the customer service from a few year ago, where is the respect and honesty we use to get, where is the customer service gone to?

After being with Cell C for over 10 years with over 5 contracts we get treated like this, where has the loyalty gone to?

Should I change serves providers?
Is Cell C what is use to be?
Is Cell C the right serves provider for me for the present and the future?

Cell C cell c contract bridged

Cell c has allowed Get More to debit my account with R51.75 for more than a year without my permission. I asked this service to be cancelled and be refunded with all the money debited from my account. Here are my reference numbers with regard to my case: Incident: [protected]; Reference number :[protected]; case #: [protected]. This debit are for this number:[protected]. I feel cheated by cell c and last month on the 7th November I sent cell c email warning them that, if my money is not refunded, I am stopping the payment I was doing monthly. I did stop and now they harassing me. I intend to stop paying until the matter is resolved.

Cell C wifi data contract

I have a wifi data contact with Cell C. I normally receive 10Gb Anytime and 10GB Midnight data on the 1st of every month. On the 02/12/2017 there was no Anytime data and 20Gb Midnight data. I logged a call and was informed that my monthly data was loaded incorrectly. I spoke to three people at Cell C and they all confirmed that this was the case. I have not received any feedback yet in regards to them rectifying this issue.

Cell C Contract cancellation

I took out a contract with Glocell. After a few months my line was continuously being blocked and after a lot of time spent on the phone and with at the Glocell store, it was realised that the reason was that GloCell was expecting me to double pay for the sim and connection fee; which I paid when I received the sim card. After numerous requests and time spent with the terrible service consultants who make you hold for 45 mins before cutting you off or just don't do anything when you do get to speak to somebody, I returned the sim card to the store and requested a cancellation as I was not getting the service I was paying for, due to my line being continuously blocked. Even the manager at the GloCell store tried to sort it out to no avail. Now I am still receiving invoices, yet nobody responds to my emails? I am so frustrated at the pathetic lack of service from GloCell, I have never ever come across such a pathetic company before! Cancel this contract and reverse these charges!

Cell C cell c summit

Good Day

I bought a cell c summit early this year and after two months it stopped charging, I would put it in a charger and it will show that its charging but it will still be on 0%. I took it back to the shop and they sent it for repairs, no feed back was given to why it was not charging, all I was told was that the repair centre said I must be given a new one.

I went home with a new phone, same brand, after two or three months the same charging problem started again, I also took it back, again I was given a new phone.

Again in October I was given a third phone, its now the 1st week of December I have a phone that is not charging, SHOULD I take it back to the shop for them to give me the 4th phone.

No! I think this is wrong, clearly the Brand is faulty and no one wants to take the blame. I'm tired, I keep loosing important information, I think is fair that the refund me my R999 which I paid for the phone. I can't keep on doing this..it's a joke! I have a R99 phone that has never given me problems.

This one time the consultant at their branch said " any its a cheap for you can't expect a lot from it" cheap or not...a phone should not last t a person for two months.

Cell C No replies to emails and phone calls re data usage

I have had a contract for 24 months which has now expired. In October, by the 5th 2 gigs of data was consumed. I DO NOT my mobile data to log in to any sites. I have asked for details by email, phone calls, going into the Balfour Park branch who also logged my complaint, I also went to the head office to confront the managing director ( who is too high & mighty to speak to us plebs) i eventually saw someone by the name of Cecilia. Still no communication from Glocell. I removed my sim card from my phone but there was still data useage when my sim was out I WILL NOT PAY FOR THE DATA Charge untill this problem is sorted out. Cell C data contract

9/10/17: Enter into new data contract and receive LTE router Cell C Kollenade
11/10/17: Return to bramch- the router is not working- says no network covereage. After 2 hours the branch could also not get the router to work. The shop gave me reference number. The call centre will phone me.
13/10/17: The call centre also cannot get the router working- suggested I do sim swop.
14/10/17: Do sim swop- router still not working
16/10/17: Back to branch with router. I handed it back and requested that contract be cancelled. The agent took router- said will follow up matter with call centre. Ref [protected]. Received no feedback
21/10/17- Went to branch again. The agent phoned call centre. They refuse to cancel contract and they will contact me in the following week.
29/10/17- Cell C contact me on Sunday afternoon. I was not at home. Request them to call me Monday afternoon. I am teacher and cannot take calls during the morning.
30/10/17- Receive call at 10:20 am. Request that they phone after 14h00.
02/11/17- I reverse debit order at my bank at my costs
04/11/17- I phone Cell C. They say the case is still open on their side
01/12/17- They add the debit order to my cellphone account.

Cell C repairs

I bought a new phone(Cell C Summit)This April The guy at the cassier gave me a garentee slip, promising me if Something should happen to this phone.Thy will give me a brand new one.I started getting trouble charging my phone. So I took it back to them.I was then told they don't have this phone in stock.The lady then told me I can go through head office at Buccleuh they will be able to fix it while I wait.My fiancé was with me he asked what time they close (we went there on Saturday 2cond December) she said at 16:00:we drove there and were kindly informed that they are closed.

Cell C Robbed of my data!!!

I receive my monthly all inclusive benefits of 200.00 MB data on the first of every month. The first was yesterday. This data lasts me a month as I am at work most of the day in a WIFI zone and then again at home after work. Yesterday was no different Now today i get an SMS saying one of my data bundle sis depleted. 24 hours after I got it! of which I was in my wifi zone for all 24 hours barring maybe 3. m This is not the first time this has happened. Strangely it seems to happen every year...in December. Is this just a coincidence? OR Is it a money making scheme for CEll C /Glocell so that we have to go out and buy data and you make thousands more for December. OR is there a legitimate error here on your part. I trust that this enquiry will receive your immediate attention and that the matter will be looked into.

Strangely the number you provide on the internet for customer support [protected] has a voice recording saying "this number does not exist" and your other number [protected] keeps on replying with a voice message recording saying you must pin in your choice for what help is needed but it wont accept the pin. Shocking customer service you have going here! I think its time I changed my service provider along with the rest of my family.

Cell C over deducting debit order/ customer care drops phone when complaining

There was 2 months we changed banking details so I admit there was 2 amounts outstanding the full amount including the R280 for returned debits was paid via EFT(in full as stipulated on statement from Cell C) now for the past two months Cell C deducts the amount + the R70 on both Cellphone accounts for no reason as the debit order runs on the date and no return. The past two months I phoned Cell C then they drop the phone if I ask why? I have logged allot of complaints on site and still now yet again the debit order goes off with a added R70. In my eyes this is unlawful as the cellphone contract was a agreement between me and Cell C for a amount and yes it stipulates if a debit order is returned a R70 will be added, so in the past two months now Cell C is actually breaking the agreement and stealing money from me and the customer care of Cell C is a joke the consultants is not trained to even conduct a proper conversation and has no customer care skills and it seems as if Cell C just does not care. I can not wait to complete my contracts to move to a new provider.

This can be clearly proved by means of statements that I can not disclose on a public site.

I would like to request a person of senior position to phone me and look at my account.

it is not a massive amount but in my eyes wrong is wrong - and believe me if you owe Cell C money there is a consultant phoning you at least 3 times a day but when it comes to actually delivering on the service they promise there is nothing.
