Cell C review: Cell failing to update my TIC & Issuing a paid up letter

Hello All,

I had a cell c contract which was handed over to CSS, a debt collector. I reached out to CSS and settled the debt on 18 October 2022. For reasons which were never explained to me, when I requested for the paid-up letter, I was send from pillar to post until it was finally sent to me on 21 November 2022. I then reached out to credit bureau, and they requested that I furnish them with a paid-up letter which is on cell c letterhead since the account is reflecting as active and it's causing an adverse score on my credit record. I have called cell c for months on end now and every time I am given conflicting information, i am told to call numbers which do not go through, i am transferred to lines that never get answered and even worse i was given an email which do deliver.

I really feel helpless and unfairly treated that a year after having paid your debt you have held my credit record to ransom. This is my last call to get this resolved. Please reach out to me on [protected]@gmail.com and just send me my letter and i will leave you alone because i will never buy from cell c again.
