In November 2022, I signed a contract for a Cell Phone and watch deal with Cell C, however due to Cell C not providing what I wanted, I returned the cellphone and sim card back to them. I had spoken to the Sales manager Pabulo and to numerous customer service agents, who assured me that I will not be billed as I had returned all items back to them still stealed. However, in January 2023, I was debited an amount of R600, which I reversed as I did not have the phone. This was after speaking to agents. I called customer care and they informed me that they will take care of this as I should have not been billed. Later when trying to apply for a new contract I was informed that I have an active cell phone account, which is listed as default. I then called Cell C, who promised that they will get some to call me from the accounts to correct. This has been going on for months and this is now affecting my credit record, as it shows that I have defaulted and not making payments on an account.
I have been calling Cell C and no one seems to be able to help or care.
I am not sure what I need to provide you with to assist me in resolving this matter.
