After the extended warranty ran out I received a call to extend the warranty. I went through the questions and was told due to mileage they could not renew. They called again the following week and we went through the same thing to the same end. They called again the following week and I told them I had to many miles and didn't qualify. I continued to answer the phone calls weekly then biweekly for another year. This has been going on for over three years now and I don't even bother to explain I just asked to be removed from the call list and they still call. I signed up for the do not call list (what a joke) and I tried blocking the numbers and they keep calling from new areas. Please, do not buy a chevrolet or extended warranty because you will never ever stop getting calls.

Me and my wife brought a 2012 chevy p/u from a dealer in blanchard oklahoma..At approximately 15000 miles the transmission seized up in the truck, , after the dealer argued with gm to get it fixed the right way, they finally put a re-built transmission...But did make one monthly payment for us.After a few more months we started having trouble with the throwing check engine codes, , fuel problems, torque converters, transmission valves..After replacing 2 torque converters, a tranmission valve, and check engine light coming numerous times..We finally told the dealership that was it and needed to get gm involved which they did, and gm gave $2000.00 trade in allowance on a 2015 chevy colorado..We ask for more, but they said no that was there max they would offer..Knippelmier chevrolet could not been better about taking of there customer but gm should of gaves more compensation for drive a piece of junk that we drove for three years..Gm does not care for there customers as far we are concerned..Ben/rhonda buffaloe([protected]@pldi.Net)

My husband and myself had three grandchildren in the back seat of our HHR 2007 on our way home from a wedding on August 29, 2015 around 7:30 pm.

We were traveling on a county road around thirty miles per hour when for no reason our back window exploded. We were stunned.

The first thing I did was make sure all the kids were ok then we drove home a few miles away and checked out the car.

There was nothing on the inside that would have gone through.

This is a rip off because even though the insurance wil replace the window we are stuck with the $100 deductable.

I think Chevrolet should at least warn people about this possibility happening to them and better yet pay for it when it does.

Purchased a 2016 Corvette from David Stanley Chevrolet in Norman, Ok a few weeks ago and have not been able to drive it for more than a few minutes at a time due to overwhelming fumes coming from both the fiberglass in the car and thru the air conditioning. Feelings of light headedness almost immediately and asthma and sinus issues for a day or two after every time we try to go somewhere. Dealership said it would eventually go away and would not offer any other assistance. So far it is just as bad as the day we drove it home.

I am writing this complaint, as I am very disappointed the way my whole purchase and ownership experience. I feel that a profit motivation has ruled the decision making process and customer service is nonexistent.
Firstly at the purchase of a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LT, one major significant item was not offered (choice of warranty periods) and when we became aware of this item we were told it was too late. Then on the first trip we hit a pothole and damaged two tires no problem we have warranty but even though the dealership gave us the vehicle with three tires with a maximum of 21 PSI, 2 at 18. We paid for this as no one was responsible, We noticed on the side mirror at the outset what we perceived to be polish dust. Upon the initial washing we became aware that it was actually a defect. We drove to the dealership only to be told "we will sort it out" however after repeated complaints we were told
:"it was never written down and you now are out of warranty". GM in their infinite wisdom agreed and refused to change them (now both exhibit serious deterioration. Managers looking the at the mirrors have said off the record that it is definitely a flaw but I guess in this experience it will be up to us to solve it.
Other items which were not on the warranty. Replace the brake disk and the pads at 30, 000 KM. (As a former Rally racer this is absurd) the air conditioning works poorly to say the least even I had to pay to change to replace all the filters which I was advised would solve the problem (it did not). There is a power surge from the gearbox at gear change still unresolved but "we are out of warranty".
I worked at GM and this is something I never saw from a quality perspective. I am also a second generation GM owner as my father lived and breathed GM and owned GM cars for approximately for fifty years. At this point Big Brother and its profits have lost a customer and I will never consider a GM product again. I can assure you I will expound my experiences to prospective buyers as well. I have never favored "Lemon Laws" but I now realize that they have a place and are needed to protect customers.

I have a Chevrolet sonic Model 2012 in Egypt. I experienced a problem with the air bag coil as per the GM service center check. The air bag coil was not available at their stock and promised me to get it from Cairo branch. It has been over a month now without making this part available. Furthermore, GM Egypt informed me that I will pay for this part in spite of the fact that according to the recall 14V417000, this replacement should be free of charge. Now I am driving my car without being able to use with defective airbag coil and no response from GM Egypt about when it will be replaced. Car details are as follow

My 2009 Chevrolet Impala has an extremely irritating knocking sound. It sounds like Woody Woodpecker is under my dashboard! Upon researching online to try to find out what the problem could be, I came upon HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of people complaining about the very same thing. The problem is one (or more) of four ACTUATORS that is bad. Since this is apparently a very common issue, I don't understand why GM has not issued a recall on this. Seems to me since this is apparently a very large issue with GM Cars (found out it's not just the Impalas, but also common to many other GM models), that GM should do something about this and issue a recall, so that consumers can get this issue fixed. With the number of online complaints I am finding about this issue, GM could go a long way toward making their customers happy by issuing a recall to fix this widespread problem. From what I'm seeing in all these complaints, it's not a matter of "IF" this will happen to your car, it's a matter of "WHEN" - because it's happening to practically everyone who owns a GM car. With that volume, sure seems like there should be a recall on this!

Dear Sir,

Thank you for your support and it was so for so good. Now its turned into negative on service. Just to introduce myself am R.Saravanakumar and I bought a brand new ENJOY. Now Am experiencing a very worst situation on ENJOY service. I went for 2nd Free service (15000 KMS), on the way I noticed that the CHECK ENGINE light came ON, where the problem started. The service engineer verified and delivered where the CHECK ENGINE light came OFF but it again turned ON when started running just 5 KMS.I again went for service next day to repair this worse. The service engineer verified partially and delivered on next I did notice that no work he has done but after running 5 KMS CHECK ENGINE light came ON. I went again for service on same day he took 3 days for repaid this issue and did none again delivered now still problem is not resolved and he is charging Rs.1000 every time saying that this is not engine problem and this is your problem so you have to pay for it and some time without bill also. Last time he charged Rs.2000 without bill. Requesting to look on this and help immediately. Thanks

I bought a new 2013 Malibu echo in 2012. First one off the floor, I was extremely excited at the time, but that soon came to a halt. I have had nothing but issues with the rims on this vehicle. The snow, ice, mud, dirt anything that you can drive through sticks to the rims and causes a wheel weight and makes the car shake like it has a bad tire. I have filed complaints with the company that I bought it off of, I have contacted Chevrolet themselves and the response was "you should not have bought that car, it is not suppose to be driven on dirt roads." My reaction to that is, I drive in the city as much as I drive on the dirt roads. That has nothing to do with the issue at hand, the issue is that they put on rims that are of poor quality and wont do anything about it. I am a nurse and work long hours both late at night and early in the morning and have had to stop along side the road to scrap my tires. I have scraped my tires more than I have scarped my windows.
My latest issue is that the drivers door arm rest at the back has come loose. No fault of my own. There again poor quality workmanship, I have owned several cars and never had this issue. They will not fix it because my warranty is up. If this company stands behind what they make, this would not be an issue. I have always owned Chevrolet vehicles but I am quickly seeing the wrong in the decision.

We purchased our 2012 chevy sonic in december 2012. We were 2nd owner's. Car came with 100, 000 warrenty. Over the past few months we have had little issuse with the car. Nothing major. Recently however, it started making a terrible clunking sound when on uneven surfaces and turning. We took the car to out local chevrolet dealer (From wihich the car was originally purchased. We were given a print out of "recalls. "
*recall #12172 service update bulletin. Rattle or clunk noise during turns or driving over bumps. Release date 01 / 28 / 13. Status open. *
According to the dealership however, due to our car having over 36, 000 miles on it, we are not entitled to the repair. What? We are 2nd owners of a 2 year old car and we cannot get a recall repaired? I have had vehicles before with a recalled part, that have been much older with more miles and they have been fixed. Since when can gm decide that you may only get the recalled item fixed if you have under a certain amount of miles on a car? It was recalled for a reason. It shouldn't matter how many miles are on a car. If it's an issue. . . Fix it!
Guess we'll be going back to ford for our next purchase?

2005 Chevrolet Colorado Ext. Cab

Problems with starting off and on for about a week.

Attempted to start and move the truck. It started and moved about 5 feet and shut down. I called a local dealership regarding this problem.

I was prediagnosed with possible electrical problem.

After starting and shutting off, I went in to the house. About an hour later I heard the car alarm go off. Soon after I heard the fire department.

Truck cab was fully engulfed. Inspector said - Wiring Harness Fire

Truck was a total loss.
