Hello my name is porsha young I'm writing this to whom it may concern I've been trying to get hired from two Chipotle restaurants but a person by the name of Julia a manager at Bear valley rd victorville is making it hard for me for the last 2years it started at the location on main st when she was working there at that time I didn't think anything when she kept telling to come for interviews because I was excited thinking I was going to get hired but after a while I gave it a break then I called and another manager told Me to come for interview so me thinking this will be the one I get hired finally it wasn't Julia asked me to tell the group during the interview process how long I've been trying to get hired so I did she also told me that the person that interviewed me said I was really nice but from my understanding they liked me and wanted to hire me but they said they other employees must like me also so after weeks I never received a call assuming Julia is the person who wasn't interested in me because of her approach when telling me he thought I was really nice that's it she made that clear so I knew it was her who didn't want to hire me so I literally stopped applying and checked in school 6months later I call the main st location again to see if I got another shot but by then Julia was not there anymore I never received a call from them so I applied at the one on bearvalley rd I called to check the status and speak to the manager and it was Julia she was trsnfered to this location once again I applied and went on one interview she continue to keep telling me wait 1 week wait 1_month she even hired someone in my face that was working at panera bread but remember she did tell me if she can't put me in her location she can put me in another she never offered that she kept lieng brushing me off I really need a job I really want to work for Chipotle but Julia is intimidated by me I dont know why we don't know each other outside of the restaurants doing interviews if theres anything you can do to help me I will most definitely appreciate it she's cool with everyone so its making it hard for me to get hired at either location.

salmonella - no answers or reparations
I ate at the Greenville, SC location on 4 Market Point Dr on 7/24/17. Immediately after i fell sick with shivering, headache, and nausea. I left work and took my temperature upon returning home, it was well over 102 degrees. I went to the doctor on 7/27/17 when i no longer felt as if it was food poisoning but something worse. The doctor said i had salmonella. Since then i've contacted Chipotle multiple times and their "claims department" has yet to answer me or give me any reparations for work missed and/or the price of the food I paid for. Probably because 190 people in Virginia have been poisoned as well and their department is most likely flooded with angry people. This company has major problems with it's cleanliness practices and it's simply unacceptable. Do not eat here.

I went to chipolite in north olmsted, ohio . I usually go there once a month. I ordered a steak burrito like always. I had a special request this time though. I asked the worker if she could cut my burrito in half. While she was doing it she had kind of an attitude like I put her out but I figured, "Oh well I'm paying for this expensive burrito the least they can do is accommodate my request" which wasn't too hard at all but she made it seem like it was. Reason for that was I had planning to eat half now and then after had got to work I was going to eat it later on. But when i took a bite i felt a long strain of hair in my mouth and i almost threw up Ewww.

My partner and I came to location placed order for lunch (11:30am) to go. 2 steak bowls extra steak and 2 chips & hot sauce. Upon my first bite the steak was awful. Don't know if it was bad or what, but I ended up throwing it away. Then when I went to bite in chip, it had no crunch and seemed under cooked. So then, my partner had to go get me lunch elsewhere. This is by far my worse experience. I guess my partner and I will find somewhere else to go for lunches.

not answering phones
I do get that 1:15pm is a very busy time for the chain. When I'm leaving the YMCA and I have my 4 hungry kids ( ages 7yr- 10months) in the car, and all I want is to call in a burrito, pay, and be on my way. At least ywo out of 4 of my kids would be happy and fed by the time we got home! 2x-maybe even 3-I have called Chipotle in Franklin, Ma and there bas been no answer. I would call back a minute later, then again several minutes later while I'm pulling into the parking lot., only to have to turn back around and leave since there would be no answer. I would trek the 20 mins home with my dissapointed boys. Doesn't seem like a big fuss to some maybe, but we don't have a chipotle closer to our house ( nor a closer Y) so it's a nice treat to stop there occassionally for lunch. I pass by a taco bell closer which would be a ton easier to pull up and order at a speaker but i love chipotle because the food never disappoints
So... bottom line: PLEASE please please hire extra staff at chipotle to take phone orders ( because I really want to go there instead of taco bell). And 2) please open one closer to our house ( in millis)-- Bellingham would be fine!

The size of the chicken was ridiculously small, also there was barely any of it in my bowl. When I get a chicken bowl I expect to get what I am paying for. Also 2 bowls that I ordered, also with guacamole and chips was put in one bag without the handle. The bag had ripped and and my food spilled everywhere. This was a very upsetting situation. Just a waste of money.

I was in the chipotle Mexican Grill in the valley plaza mall in Bakersfield California where a young lady gave me zero customer service and was just in a hurry and she looked like she was pissed off at life… Barely even spoke to me and rolled her eyes twice. It was a younger Hispanic girl with two long braids and reading glasses. I am a mall employee at this Mall and I am never going back to Chipotle ever again. Super dissatisfied

I walked into the Chipotle store in Encino, CA on 7/25/2017... here is a list of all the complaints I have about the store!
1)the entire place smelled like garbage! Like a huge company trash bin was dumped in the middle of the restaurant
2) the girl behind the counter was very rude and was rushing me through my entire order! Never once did she welcome me or say the words thank you! Btw the restaurant was empty
3) the workers behind the counter were to busy talking to one another and it felt as though they just wanted me out of there so They can get back to their conversation.
4) driving home my bag slightly fell over and one of the tops on the bowls opened! I looked closer and it was not sealed shut properly
5) when I started eating I realized the steak was ice cold
I eat chipotle often and have never. Wen so disappointed ever. I'm disgusted with this type of representation of this company.

I found a screw in my food
I did take out on Thursday at the Middleton, Wi. Location. I bit into a screw that in return I had to go to the dentist for. I found out that my tooth is bruised. I want some type of compensation for this. I did contact the restaurant right away and they offered me some coupons or my money back. I feel this is not sufficient. They never asked for my name or phone number or anything. I don't know how or why this screw wad in my food. I still have the food and screw and witnesses that saw me pull it out of my mouth. I got to this particular location often and have never been treated so wrong! I was laughed at and my mom was laughed at, the girls there did not want to help us and on top of that made fun of my mom because she doesn't speak English very well! I was so furious and this is definitely not the way to treat anyone! I kept repeating my order only to have the girl doing it wrong! I left the food there and decided to leave when the girls began laughing all over again! Very disrespectful! So disappointed in this!
That is truly awful! I hope chipotle responds appropriately to this.

Went to the restaurant like usually. Ordered a steak burrito. For that night and later this morning I've been sick. I called to let them know I got sick there, and they got immediately defensive. They asked for all sort of stuff like a report from a doctor and an official report made by me. All I wanted was to let them know so that they could improve, and when I ate there in the future not worrying about being sick. I am currently looking for a reason to come back after being treated hostilely.
complaint about chicken bowl with chicken & chorizo
My daughter and and I stopped at chipotle to purchase a chorizo and chicken bowl and a chorizo and chicken burrito to go.
When we got home my daughter opened her chipotle bowl and as she started to mix and eat from the bowl, she started to pull hair from the bowl; at least 4 to 5 hairs from the bowl. I called the store to let them know what happened, the lady I talked to said she will talk to manager to get a better hair net policy.
We returned to the store to show them the hair and the manager responded oh that's not hair that's something else. Well, whatever it was it should not have been in the food,
As for me and my family, we will never go back to Chipotle nor will I refer anyone.

I placed a mobile order today to pick up at 1:00pm est at the location 6901 rockside road independence ohio 44131 phone number 216.986.0551 .I arrived at 1:05pm est to find that my order was missing my chips from the chips and guacamole . Once I received them I left the location. Upon arriving to my job which is 5 minutes away I began to eat that when I noticed my food was cold and the chips were hard and stale.i was unable to go back and return the food due to me being on my lunch break. I am a government county employee and we received and email from management that a particular chipotle location offered a promotion to county employee .( buy one get one free). Since the store that offered the promotion is 17 miles away from my work, I decided to print out the flyers and stopped by at the chipotle near me the address is 2200 s. grove ave. Ontario ca. 91761. I got to the counter and asked the kid at the counter if they offer county employee discount. She then asked her supervisor and she said no. I told her that I have a flyer from other location that offer the promotion. She took the flyer and showed it to the supervisor. After reading it she said that they could honor it this time. I then placed my orde of two bowls and two burrito. I got to the register, supervisor read the flyers again and said she could honor only this time. The other lady rang me up and as got my receipt notice that she did not give me the promotion that said she would honor twice. She told me after I payed that she can't honor it because it is from another office. I then reminded her that I asked before i order it it was okay and she said okay twice. Not only I was embarrass for being duped and lied to, she then rudely told me that she refund me the money and then go to the store that offer the promotion which is 34 miles from home. I was so mad that I would have had taken the refund and chipotle would have waste 34 dollars worth food if it weren't for me bringing dinner for a friend who is ill. I asked the supervisor for corporate number and rudely told me to look it up. I asked for her name and she pointed to her business card. Did not even hand it to me. Sandra Vitela is her name. She was rude and not very honorable supervisor who said twice that she would honor the promotion but did not. I would have been okay if she was upfront with me from the beginning. On top of it all I called the customer service in Denver and spoke with someone and was told that she did not want to listen to my complaints and I have to write on their web page. So here I am. I thought that after all the company's controversy and here I am trying to give this restaurant a chance that they would have excellent customer service. Unfortunately for I was lied to and treated poorly by Sandra Vitela. This incident happened on 7/19/17.
manager refused to sell ordered food & display of power trip

To Whom It May Concern:
The manager's name is Gilberto Sanchez.
While ordering food at this Chipotle, I asked the server what type of meat was in one of the container, pointing to that direction. In the process I grazed the top of the glass separating the counter. I did not lean on the glass nor touched the glass. Out of the blue, Gilberto Sanchez yelled and said, " You cannot touch the glass!" in a snappy, loud voice. Admittedly, in reaction to that, I flipped the finger. I was hungry.
Then he grabbed the food and put it aside, mumbling. I asked him to come over to chat. I did apologized for my reaction, but I thought he could not just yell at people. The correct approach would have been to explain to me what I did wrong. I explained to him that his view was obscured -- I really did not touch the glass. But he said, for giving him the finger, he would not sell me the food.
As I said, admittedly, I reacted poorly, but this manager clearly is on a power trip!
If you asked the folks working during the time frame I had mention, they would corroborate my story.
Resolution: I believe this manager has to be reprimanded for excessive self-aggrandizing behavior or reward if you are condoning that type of behavior for your store managers.

I stopped in Chipotle today Wednesday, July 19, 2017 located at 2301 Georgia Ave NW Washington, DC 20059. Order #399 @ 5:01pm...Host: Kanielle. I ordered a chicken bowl @ $7.28. I asked for three salad dressings which I was charged $1.14 for. When did you all start charging for the salad dressing? Once I got home & open my bag two of the salad dressings containers were empty. They both leaked out into the bag. Not only was I charged for something extra that I shouldn't have been but I couldn't even use it.

Please let this letter serve as my formal demand for compensation in the above-referenced claim. As you are aware, I am currently not represented by an attorney. My continuing hope is to avoid litigation by bringing this matter to a prompt and amicable resolution.
So that you are aware, I Stephanie Stewart was injured on July 18, 2017, when eating at your Calabasas Chipotle locations. After finishing my chicken bowl meal I was unaware that a foreign object had lodged into the back of my throat. I began feeling something and at the time thought it was just a piece of food because the chicken was dry. About 10 minutes later, I was able to feel with my finger that there was something punctured in my throat and would not come out. My throat began to swell and bleed towards the back. I have pictures documenting what was causing my discomfort.
I immediately began to panic and could not stay at my work. I headed straight for an urgent care facility where after 3 excruciating hours, I finally was able to have the doctor remove the foreign object. As a direct and proximate result of this issue and Chipotle’s negligence, I incurred medical bills, out-of-pocket expenses, lost wages, severe discomfort, anxiety, and pain and suffering.
I want to make clear from the outset I never asked for any of this to happen. Since the injury I have not been able to eat at restaurants without fear that something will get caught in my throat and re-injure me.
I am a victim of your company’s negligence and food preparation. I feel that Chipotle is personally liable for the negligent actions of one of their locations.
FACTUAL SUMMARY
On July 18, 2017, at approximately 11:45 a.m., I order to go at your Calabasas restaurant at 26791 Agora Road, in Calabasas, CA. I ordered the chicken bowl only. After completeing my meal I began to feel something in my throat. I thought that because the chicken was a little dry, perhaps it was just some food stuck in my mouth.
After finishing my meal and returning back to my work place, the discomfort became more and more noticeable. While in my office, I reached my finger to the back of my throat and could feel a foreign object lodged just under my tongue. I immediately began to panic as this was very tramatic and unsettling. I immediately left my work and proceeded to an Urgent Care facility.
INJURIES, TREATMENT AND RECOVERY
After explaining to the Urgent Care what had transpired, they suggested I go immediately to the ER. However, I was not able to afford an ER visit so I pleaded with them to see if they could have their doctors look first before needing to go into the ER.
I was still quite upset, anxious, and in great discomfort. After 3 hours at Kaisers Urgent Care, I was finally shown to Dr. Warden who specializes in ear, nose and throat issues. He sprayed a chemical to numb my throat which also gave me immediate anxiety because I felt I could not breathe, but fortunately, he was able to remove the foreign object.
He could not confirm what it was but believed it was not a bone from a chicken. He thought perhaps a fish but we are not clear what the object was. I have also attached pictures of what now looks like a piece of a wood splinter after it was taken out.
After paying my co-payments and heading home I finally had some relief after all these hours. However, that night I had prepared my own dinner. When I began to eat I became very anxious and could not eat without first examining each bite and I was not even eating solid foods. I began to have a panic attack and because of this, I now contacted the medical after hours on call unit to speak with therapist to see what I can do about this anxiety.

I have been coming to chipotle since the beginning. I like there food concept etc. however it seems over the years they have grown and that has hindered the ability to keep up with it. I want to have lunch today though there are a few of the employees who have been here awhile again a whole new staff. The workers sloppy dirty on appearance and obviously not interested in taking any pride in their work, mow as for the good etc u wonder why people are getting sick no gloves hair hanging down dirty clothes are one thing but ... dirty counters, the food debris while serving, no gloves, no hand washing, employees eating while working then serving, taking temp of food without cleaning thermometer wiping it on there gloves, And the dirty tables, floors

Come on chipotle train them and pay them practice what u started out doing good healthy sustainable now I are a fake seems all I care about is the popularity your growth and profits shame on u and your owners . Over years I have watched the workers, Trevor is the only person that works hard to maintain a high standard to run this location but one person alone can't do it all maybe u should let him move up and return the place to a better standard .
