We were at Denny's in Waldorf Maryland this morning as we have many times before. This morning we had asked about the southwestern skillet that comes with chorizo sausage. We always ordered a skillet breakfast that came with regular sausage, but it was no longer on the menu. The server told us that we could substitute regular sausage for the chorizo, and we said okay that would be great and ordered two skillets with regular sausage. We had ordered coffee and waited ten minutes before getting a cup even though we were the only customers at the time. The skillets came about ten minutes later and the pancakes we ordered came out five minutes later. We never were offered a refill on our coffee. We had to ask for napkins. When the bill came we were shocked to see that we were charged $1.90 on each skillet for changing the chorizo to regular sausage. We were never told there would be a charge to do so and would not have ordered it had we known. The server told us that a manager had to remove the charge and she was shocked to see it too but when we asked for the manager we were told there wasn't one there at the time. This is ridiculous. This breakfast for two that we had to ask for the server to bring things, never had a refill of our coffee and were charged for changing sausage cost us $41.00. I have never paid that much for a breakfast in my life and you can bet I never will again. This is the type of experience that causes restaurants to lose customers.
Desired outcome: Refund in full for a horrible experience.

I went to dennys today at 2am in Missoula MT. I got what the waiter recommended. Cookie Dough pancake plate. Was not all that disappointing, Kinda what one would expect from that order. I followed it up with another recommendation, Some kind of Pepper burger special.
Issues Stem from the place of Business itself. tables Dirty, staffing was short, Food was not seasoned, syrup came inside old liquor bottles and liquor tops. the place was rundown and put back wet... I felt for those employee's.
Desired outcome: Kick them from the franchise. they are slandering our good name.
Missing items from order
I placed an order for delivery from Dennys located on 5825 International Drive in Orlando Florida. They did not deliver the pancakes and coffee although they charged me for them. Several attempts to contact them by phone resulted in a loop of press 1 to place an order and press 2 to speak to a team member. This message repeated for 3 minutes without ever getting through.
Desired outcome: A refund for the missing items as they were add-ons (the pancakes to an order of Moon over Miami and coffee )charged to my credit card.

Denny's HWY 46 Boerne, Texas. My wife and I went to Denny's for breakfast this morning (12/30) The service was horrible, we waited an hour hoping our breakfast would be coming out out. The waitress never came by to refill coffee and I had to get up and ask another waitress if she could fill my wife's coffee. I mentioned to my wife people who came in after us had their food. I got up and asked our waitress about our order and she never came back to offer an explanation. We decided to leave and I went to check out for our coffee and juice. I told the cashier we never got our order. She disappeared to the kitchen and said our order was never turned in, sorry your waitress is new. I won't be going back ever!
We had stopped going to Denny's a year ago because of poor service. We thought things surely had to improved. We definitely won't be returning.

This past Christmas my family and I went to Dennys for dinner considering it was one of the few places open and typically our experience there is always great. Unfortunately, this experience was very disappointing. After being seated, we waited approximately 30-45 minutes without being waited on until we decided to leave. I would like to believe this was a mistake, but being ignored for that long was unacceptable. The goofball manager called the owners and they would not honor the coupon. Why be a rewards' member if we cannot use these perks? The manager Josh is totally incompetent. He routinely leaves people waiting while there is open tables available. Denny's on Fairview in Boise, Idaho (Sept. 26, 2021)
We had errands to run with limited time available as my stomach growled from hunger. Our first choice of diners, we rejected when we remembered the seating arrangements were tight and didn't provide for social distancing. We drove past our second choice because the line outside the front doors circled around the side of the building. Our third choice posted a sign that they were closed because of limited staff available to work. Then a light in the sky beaconed to us — Denny's.
A recent commercial flashed in my brain advertising Denny's Bennies. I remember thinking they looked tasty so suggested we try it, apprehensively. My experience with Denny's has been hit or miss. I love their apple pie crisp with ice cream but at times have found the service lacking. But here it sat welcoming us with no lines, no waiting, a sign from the heavens.
Quickly, I noticed that the restaurant was quite sparse of customers. Wondering if it was a lost gem nobody had discovered or whether we were making a huge mistake, I told the waitress we needed a table for two. Ordering was easy because of the aforementioned commercial. While sipping our coffee and waiting for our food to arrive, I overheard a couple at an adjacent table order Denny's Bennies. They were informed that this item was unavailable because they were out of hollandaise sauce.
Interesting because I knew the ingredients for the sauce are pretty simple: butter, egg yolks, lemon juice, dijon, salt and cayenne pepper, a recipe that only requires a few minutes to prepare from start to finish. Confused to hear the lack of supplies and knowing we were not given the same information, I called to our waitress.
When I asked about the hollandaise sauce she wondered off to check. Returning she explained they were out of the powered mix and offered the same menu item with a substitution, queso dip. As my testbeds rebelled at that thought, I asked to see the menu again thinking they are sure spending a lot of money on advertising for something they don't have.
Ok. Sometimes things are simply our of our control so we changed our order but before our waitress left requested coffee refills. As we waited, my husband and I entertained ourselves by trying to identify the images on the waiter's tattoos that trailed up his arms, around his neck and over his head, quite a detailed a piece of art. We killed a little time visiting with the customers next to us until their order arrived and they left in anger because it was not what they ordered.
By now, our apprehensions had multiplied but I questioned, "How bad can they screw up an egg scramble?" We started drinking some water because our coffee cups were empty.
When our orders arrived, my question was answered and I really don't know how the cook accomplished this. In front of me sat a sizzling egg scrambled on a black skillet. I forked through the ingredients: diced potatoes, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, spinach, peppers, and onions. The aroma was intoxicating and the flavor divine. When the waitress returned and asked if we enjoyed the meal, I replied honestly, " I love the flavor but do not understand why my egg scramble has no eggs."
Just as I finished clearing my skillet, a plate of scrambled eggs was placed in front of me with an apology — but no coffee. Though we were full but not content, we asked for a bill. When it came, I was too frustrated to point out we were charged for Denny's Bennies, the item they did not have. When the waitress proudly announced she did not charge us for the coffee, I refrained from pointing out we didn't get much coffee but also didn't thank her.
Rude manager
Manager very loudly told server to seat us in the corner! Other customers heard and we were embarrassed. The server led us to the far corner of the restaurant on the other side of where the other customers were seated. What? So we were upset and decided not to eat at this restaurant because of the rude behavior of that manager. On the way out we spoke to the server and she apologized profusely and we asked why did the manager act this way? She said she didn't know. During this time, the manager was glancing at us angrily. We feel she should be reprimanded. Please respond soon. Thank you. The location is Jensen and Highway 99 in Fresno, California.

I am regular there, and I usually see Anyssa. But today my regular server Anyssa was leaving so they had assigned Heather, which is fine but unfortunately I was not satisfied and I am very disgusted with her attitude. She's unprofessional and she should not work there if she doesn't like to serve. Before she took my order I can hear and see her on the phone screaming. After she had hung up she came to take my order, she didn't bother to ask which type of bread we'd like so I told her that I believe my order come with bread so she had apologize. Which is fine…I had also order chicken tender with 2 different sauce. She brought the sauce in like a small creamer thing so I had ask Anyssa if I can get a saucer thing so I can dip my tenders n fries easily. I understand people mess up sometime. I didn't give anyone any problems and continue to eat. While I was having a conversation with my reg server, Heather than approach my table and her words :I know it's story time but how is everything. I see can the tension and for whatever reason that was, I feel disrespected, I don't know who the [censored] in their right mind would approach customers like that, and why she felt comfortable enough to even say that. Never in my life did I ever have this problem with any servers at Denny! One thing for sure I will never go back there as long as she's there. I will make sure you will no longer have business from me or anyone I know! I'm Disgusted !
