This company is one of the absolute worst. I picked out my purchases and made my way to the register. There were two people ahead of me. There was a particularly chatty customer being checked out and an extremely long line formed within five to seven minutes. As per usual, only one register was open, but the cashier wasn't the problem. She was moving at an efficient pace. I figured she was the only one working the shift. Lo and behold, a man lazily walks into the store and goes behind the counter to talk to the cashier. I thought, "Oh, wow! He's actually going to help!", because at this point, there were at least 10 people waiting on line. I should've known I was expecting too much. He was supposedly a "manager" by the name of ‘Art' who was informing this poor cashier that she would be by herself while he went to another store in Eldred (about 20-30 minutes away) to close that store, for some unknown reason. When she pointed out the fact that the line had reached the end of an aisle and was beginning to snake down another, his response was, "They'll have to wait". He couldn't take 10 minutes to help her with that line? I've worked in customer service my entire life. The only reason I would need to leave a coworker in the weeds like that is if my house was on fire or something happened to my child. Unbelievable lazy piece of work.
