eBay ebay

ebay does not protect buyers from fraudulent sellers. A verifiable address is not required to do business, so it is impossible to locate these scammers who simply pull up stakes when they are finished stealing from the public. Hong Kong is a huge source of scams. Asian sellers flood the site with defective electronics. By the time you receive your item and the item stops working, it will work for a couple of weeks and then fail (the most common scenario) your window of intervention by ebay-45 days -is closed and you get a nice apologetic letter that they cannot help you. You are told to contact the scammer, good luck with that since his site is no longer online. there is no address registered with ebay or on your purchase. You can contact the FBI or a detective-of course they will drop everything and assist you with your $20.00 purchase or even your $200 purchase on ebay.

If you must shop on ebay-do not buy electronics from Hong Kong-especially when you see long lists of products such as MP3s, iPhones, or any popular gadget that has a tempting price. This is a warning sign. the Asian markets are huge knock-off markets. With electronics, unlike a pocketbook or shoes that you can still wear, your product will not work. do not agree to pay or send a check or money order or your bank information directly to the seller. A seller wanted me to pay outside the normal channels for some fictitious reason. I notified ebay who did nothing about this illegal request by the buyer that violated ebay's own rules.

Do not purchase anything where the seller tells you that there are too many items to be described and shows you a picture instead. I was scammed when a seller stated that he had 100 DVDs of current titles and there were just too many titles to list separately. He put up a photo of different DVDs. Also, set a price on what you feel is reasonable to avoid having a scammer have a third party run the price up. Emotional bidding is expensive. Be suspect when an opposing bidder is going neck to neck with you on an item. Look for an address before you buy and if you are spending a lot of money contact that seIler first to see if you get a good address and write it down for safekeeping in case of a scam later. You might want to write down all addresses before you send money off because ebay will not help you. I wrote down all info because thieves pull their info from the site. Ebay should not let sellers close their sites down without archiving the info.

Finally, when you get scammed, inform the world of the identity and ebay info of the thief. Most crooks operate via a pattern and you might help catch the crook after he tries to scam someone else one too many times. I am not talking about a legitimate dispute or misunderstanding but a clear undeniable rip-off. In the end you are taking a chance on ebay-the stomping ground of crooks, Amazon is a better place to buy.

ebay has No SELLER Protection whatsoever... thus all the good honest sellers are no longer on ebay and leaving a bunch of scammers... Ebay charges an arm and a leg for sellers in which they pay the employees with ... If a seller has a problem it's oh well .. all we want is your money and who cares what happens to you the seller... I had sold an item on ebay and a buyer didn't like it... well, she did not READ the Description nor look at the pics so this was truly a case of buyers remorse... I had emailed ebay about this SEVERAL times and NOT ONCE did ebay reply to any of my questions or concerns instead they just ruled in the buyers favor with no explanation at all - put a hold on my paypal account and so on... in the end the buyer did agree that she did not read description, did not ask questions nor really look at all the pictures and we worked it out because it was her fault... Not all buyers will admit they goofed so as a seller you will lose Everytime... It's just not worth the fees they charge for sellers to be totally unprotected and end the end... all the good old honest sellers finally had to leave ebay leaving a bunch of new comers who don't last long or are just run off by the lack of care from ebays customer support. BUYERS it really is YOUR Responsibility to ASK questions, LOOK at the Pictures and READ that description... If you don't well it's shame on you... being that this happens more often that not... the good sellers have just had enough and have moved on... We use to buy and sell on ebay but not anymore... bottom line, ebay just doesn't care about the sellers at all - If there are NO sellers then there will be No buyers - No ebay! No wonder buyers are not happy... ebay has run off all the good sellers because they just wont protect the sellers from bad buyers... Bummer

I just got my account suspended, i paid all my items too.i called ebay they said I can not use my nick name -everything has be real name.and you can not ship to another address unless its listed under you real address they said, . I can have my account back if I fax them .proof of my bank statement.and any i.d.! .It is a place that wants all perfect, but that is ok for seller mail your items three weeks after you paid for it..then ebay said, if seller wants their item paid in 24 hours you have to pay it.i thought well then keep all the sellers.all buyers should go some where else, it isn't about about buyers at all.for sellers.i also lost 100 hundred dollars from sellers that got paid never shipped my items..they are keeping buyers money too. ..

in fact, i had a much worse experience with amazon. I bought a product and seller never provided tracking number or shipped the item. I send several emails and got no response back. when I called amazon customer support, they told me to send email to the seller again... for what?... and wait almost a month an a half to cancel transaction.

If a buyer makes a complaint with PayPal, they will always take the buyer's side over the seller's and refund the money. It doesn't matter what the situation was.

eBay false information

The dog shown in the last two pictures is mine. I do not know this individual and have never given permission for him to use my dog's photos to help promote their stud dog. They are claiming that this is one of the dogs they produced, which is a complete lie. My dog is a show dog with a very good pedigree. I do not want my dog's image used by a backyard breeder to falsely entice breeders. I have included a picture of me with Niko accepting his 1st place trophy at the same show as these other pictures were taken. You can easily see that I am wearing the same clothes.

eBay seller protection sucks

Half.com is the worst, I sold a law book to a buyer from half.com, then 1 month later he complained of the quality of the book. I told him it was too late and that I sent him the book exactly how I described it. He then was able to obtain a refund from half.com for the exact same reason without any proof and basically used the book for free for the entire semester. I made several complaints to Half.com that this was a scam and he was just trying to use the book for free without paying for it and I received no response, the book in the mail, and money withdrawn from my account. Half.com doesn't care because they still keep their fees and make a profit regardless. I'm not using them anymore.

Same issue here. Buyer is reseller. At first buyer tryied to tell me that he never got the book even though recipt says it was delivered. Then he claims book not in the same condition. I am more then positive that book got damaged while it was misplaced in their warehouse. Half.com does not care and did not even gave me a chance to respond.

eBay buyer protection policy is a joke

Back in August I filed a buyer protection claim due to having received the wrong edition of a textbook I ordered for a college class. I waited, and waited, and waited, and after several attempts to reach them via email, someone from Half.com finally sent me an email, stating how pleased they were with my feedback rating, how sorry they were for my troubles with this transaction, blah, blah blah. I was told to return the book to the seller and get a delivery confirmation number, and send it back to him/her when the book was "confirmed" as received by the seller. So I did so. Several times. And it is now November 27 and I have NOT YET HEARD from anyone at Half.com regarding my claim or refund. I am very disappointed in how they have handled this and will never buy anything from Half.com again, due to this experience and knowledge that if anything goes wrong, they will not protect buyers. I should have used my credit card company to get my money back, but I followed the instructions provided at Half.com not to do so. BIG MISTAKE. This site appears to be the unwanted stepchild of eBay and should be shut down.

I purchased a book using the CORRECT ISBN and was sent the WRONG edition, which has a completely DIFFERENT ISBN! When I complained to half.com they said I should return the book and get my money back. I have returned the book (AT MY EXPENSE) and I have NOT RECEIVED a refund. I am out the money I paid for the book & the money I spent returning the book. I can't even resell the book, because now the dishonest seller has my money & the book! DON'T PURCHASE FROM HALF.COM, because when one of their sellers cheats you, they do NOTHING!

I agree completely. I purchased a textbook as well but never received it. I went through the entire process that you described, received the same "form letter" response to the complaint, and to date, 120 days later, still have no book, no refund, and no response from half.com.

eBay very bad decision

Hi,

I had ordered an item from ebay uk. When I received this item I quickly realized that the item was not as described by the UK seller. For example, the item (an LED grow light) had different number of LEDS and the sizes were also different. Since I have an energy meter, I measured its power readings and found that it was underrated (14watts actual, 50watts described). 14watts are clearly insufficient for my plants! Since I was not an expert in the electricity field, I started a forum tread just to confirm my analysis and conclusion. I made a complaint against the seller and ebay UK agreed in MY favour. They asked me to send the item back to the seller and I had to enter tracking information and the couriers name. I got a quote from DHL and they asked for 85 pounds (I am in Malta). Since the item costed just 25 pounds this was not practical. I then got in touch with ebay customer support and in the chat session (Customer Support Chat Transcript - SR# 1-[protected]), I asked the person if I could send the item via normal postage and register it. The person agreed with me and told me that I could enter the registration number as the tracking number. He also told me to contact the seller and inform about my method. I then sent a message to the seller and informed him of my intentions. I waited 3 days to give chance for him to answer me. Since the seller did not answer me, I paid 14 pounds in postage and registration and sent the item back to him on the 13/11/2010.

According to Royal Mail tracking, on the 17/11/2010, RM made the first attempt to deliver the item to the seller (Attempted
A delivery was attempted for your item with reference RR, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , in NEW FERRY PDO before 06:08 on 17/11/10).
I was really upset when on the 20/11/2010 I received the following message from ebay:
Customer support has reviewed the case and made a final decision. We've considered the case carefully and decided not to issue you with a refund. We're sorry this didn't work out.
I have since appealed ebays decision based on the information they had provided me prior to them deciding not to refund me. As of today I have not yet been contacted by ebay and more than the stipulated 48hr answer/decision time period has now passed.
I feel that Ebay in this instance have led me to the “gallows” rather than helping me out of an honest problem I encountered! The seller seems that he does not want to receive the item. His feedback on ebay is not very good and has some accusations of dishonest trading.

Regards
John

eBay fraud on damaged martin guitar

Seller described a Martin D45 guitar as "typical nicks and scratches of a 13 year old guitar. Three photos, from a distance, were shown. I paid $4500. for the guitar and when it arrived I saw "significant structural damage." Next, I visited with three Martin authorized luthiers including a visit to the Martin Guitar Co, in Nazareth PA, all within 2 working days after the guitar arrived. All three luthiers evaluated the guitar identifying the "significant structural damage." The fretboard was pushed toward the sound-hole by 1/2 inch. I contacted the seller who gave me the "screw you." I contacted eBay's resolution center which, after 5 days of deliberation and review of the luthier's evaluations found in favor of the seller. I then filed a lawsuit for FRAUD against the seller. If you have seen the eBay website over the last 30 days, they have revised their website claiming "Buyer Protection." When any organization makes claims to counter bad press, it's generally a fact that they are guilty and even in collusion with eBay scamers.

eBay $300,000 bank fee

ATTENTION ALL EBAY SELLERS $300, 000 Attachment to your Bank Account!
This is an Email sent to EBAY on 11/1/2010 with no response so far.

You have again changed your requirements for selling. You now require that you have
unlimited access to my bank account through Pay Pal. This will not due.
You cannot have unlimited access to my personal funds, that is stupid and I will never
agree to that. If you would like me to sell on Ebay ever again you need to change this.
As you must be aware if you don't okay automatic payment my items are rejected and will
not upload. It's hard enough already to use Ebay for selling, it just gets hard and
harder every year and the more we complain the less Ebay cares. So many people we know
will never us Ebay because of these dumb rules for sellers. You know that Turbo Lister
tells you how much to charge for shipping and the price often time is less than it
actually costs! What about not having enough to cover shipping? This inturn makes it
impossible to list These items at all.

It's about time you sent my concern's to John Donahue the President of Ebay and not
responded from what your screen tells you to say (copy and paste). Please don't send me a

eBay if you should ever have an issue with payment, you will not be able to talk to a person to get it resolved

Half. Ebay.com has terrible customer support. If you should ever have an issue with payment, you will not be able to talk to a person to get it resolved. Their customer support is run through emails and their "help wizard" which basically just sends them an email. They will not call you at your request to fix a payment issue and if you do find their mysterious customer support phone number, it is an automated system just telling you to send them an email. You also can't use gift cards like you can on other websites, if your giftcard isn't above the amount of your total, you can't use it, but they don't state that unless you specifically go searching through all their discussion forums to find it or email to ask them ahead of time.

eBay it's a scam

I'm complaining about the following three web sites. They are all exactly the same.

http://www.homeemploymentagency.net/index/
http://www.home-job-report.org/work-at-home-position-placement
http://www.workathomepositionplacement.com/index/

All these three web pages start like this:

Thanks to the Internet, Fortune 500 companies like Apple, Adidas, Compaq, and Coleman are now outsourcing positions to people like you who want to work from home.

BUT IN VERY, VERY SMALL PRINT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE THEY WRITE:

Some individuals purchasing the program may make little or NO MONEY AT ALL.

AND THEY ALSO REVEAL, THE FOLLOWING, WHICH GOES AGAINST WHAT THEY SAID AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE:

Work At Home Position Placement is NOT AFFILIATED, endorsed by or in any way associated with Apple, Coleman, Adidas, Compaq, The New York Times, Esquire, America Online, CNN, USA Today, Forbes, Yahoo. Work At Home Position Placement does not have the express permission of Apple, Coleman, Adidas, Compaq, The New York Times, Esquire, America Online, CNN, USA Today, Forbes, or Yahoo logo.

THANK YOU COMPLAINTS BOARD. I WAS SUSPICIOUS OF THESE PEOPLE, WHEN MY SUSPICIONS WERE CONFIRMED BY YOUR OTHER COMPLAINT FOUND THERE:

http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/auction-listing-agent-c224838/page/4.html#c694213

So I'm filing this complaint just to point out the small print which very few people ever read.

eBay shoddy ebay seller bodymindandsoy

Some sellers simply should not be in the business of selling on eBay (or in business for that matter). I was a regular repeat customer of this business until one day she did a shoddy job of packing and 2 of the 12 items I ordered were broken. When I pointed it out, she took forever to refund the broken ones and I left a "neutral" feedback. I apologized for leaving the comments in the neutral feedback and this was her response:

"Blah Blah Blah...Sometimes sorry just doesn't cut it. The damage has been done and i'm sooooo done with you coward. DO NOT WRITE ME AGAIN!"

What kind of business treats a repeat customer like that? What kind of way of that is to treat any customer at all? First off all, the whole thing could have been avoided with proper packaging. There is no excuse for packing glass items with popped bubble wrap. Also there are major quality issues with her candle-making. At least have the wicks are so off center that they candle does not burn evenly. Evidently this person does not enjoy being in the business of candle making and should just get out.

Meanwhile, I'd rather pay more to get a quality product and packaging. If you are considering buying from this deranged woman, you'd better hope you never have a problem with an item.

The lesson here is that if you like candles for your home, stick with legit candle makers. You can get great candles from Yankee Candle, Colonial Candle, Beanpod (if you want Soy), Root, and many others. They cost more but they are made professionally. Sure this seller's candles are cheap but they aren't made with attention to detail and therefore come out with shoddy quality. I'm sure it's hard for this seller to make candles with a bottle of booze in one hand at all times!

Just for the record this is the conversation with my apology for the NEUTRAL feedback:

Dear bodymindandsoy,

I am very sorry about that feedback.. Stupid Paypal
did not notify nor could I find it (without a lot of
digging) in my Paypal transactions.

This is her response:

Blah Blah Blah...Sometimes sorry just doesn't cut it. The damage has been done and i'm sooooo done with you coward. DO NOT WRITE ME AGAIN!

This is me calling her out on her rude treatment

Dear bodymindandsoy,

Your rude response is amazing considering you are
supposed to be in business. Shame on you. I am
putting your rude comment all over the net on
"blast" so everyone else can see your dark side.

This is her response:

What don't you understand about don't contact me again stalker? Put whatever you want wherever you want [censored] bag. You are the ### who can't seem to find a simple refund and then leave false feedback. Please by all means spend as much time as possible on me LOL.. then go seek therapy immediately! You have waaaay to much time on your hands lunatic!

===========================================

At that point, I stopped communicating with this crazy lady. Clearly she is a drunk or a drug user of some kind. What she is not is a business person. I sell on ebay as well and I would never EVER treat a customer this way. And I remind again, this was NUETRAL feedback, not negative. This loon must learn that she can't send email like that and expect not go on blast. She has no basis for claiming slander - this is copy and paste right from the email message system.

Update by Candle junkie

The candle seller is clearly Schizophrenic or just an alkie. Before this happened she was calling me "hon" in every email. Besides, what kind of person can claim to run a business and treat repeat customers that way - especially when the customer apologizes. This ebay seller is so drunk she can't even make candles properly. I had to throw out another one yesterday that did not have the wick centered. It was so off center, it was burned down one side.

If what the seller said is true and you wrote you received no refund when indeed you had I wouldn't want to do business with you either. I use to sell on Feebay and this is exactly why I stopped. Buyers just say whatever they please and now sellers aren't allowed to defend themselves. Seller if I were you I would go to a few sites where you are allowed to post your negative feedback for buyers like this. Millions of ebay sellers go here and use the feedback to block bad buyers before they get to them. I'd also sue this buyer for slander if what you say is true and they left dishonest negative feedback that damaged your listings rating. Good luck bodymindandsoy. I have had a few like this myself and don't envy you.

P.S.

If my candles were so bad as they say, with the wicks off center why then do they proclaim to be a repeat buyer? Would you keep buying from someone who sold bad candles? Once again they have proven themselves to be perpetual liars and just keep proving my point as to their childish and cowardly behavior. Last time I checked this was my business and if I choose not to sell to someone that is my right. Take respomsibility for your actions instead of thinking just because I am in business I have to take whatever you dish out. RIDICULOUS!

I am the seller this person speaks of. She has chosen to put in what suits her. Fact of the matter is sometimes it is just better to cut your losses with some customers, as keeping them is just not worth it as any business person would know. I sell over 1000 candles a month and 99/9% make it without any breakage. When shipping glass sometimes breakage happens. She was refunded immediately without even requesting proof of breakage or waiting the 30 days that the post office would make you wait for a refund. She then leaves neutral feedback saying she received NO refund. An absolute lie trying to do damage to my business. If she had just said there was breakage and that was it and gave a neutral then that would be fine. However lying is a whole other matter. I tried to call them and tell them the refund was in their account but they hung up on me like a coward before I could speak. I emailed them several times with no response. Finally a month later after the damage has been done in feedback this person wrote to say they were sorry that they just couldn't find the refund and how it was paypal's fault..blah blah blah... They take no responsibility for their incapacity to look for the refund before trying to do damge to my business. After being told not to contact my company any further they write to tell me that they put this complaint here and that they have only just begun smearing my name over the internet...LOL..I was the one who was falsely accused of keeping her refund and sucked up the false feedback and yet when I tell them not to contact me again they go berserk. Can you understand now why I say it is just better to cut your losses with certain buyers? Thank you buyer for proving my point for me.

eBay seller refused to sell item for purchase price

I purchased a cell phone for the "Buy It Now" price, paid and received a tracking number for my purchase. Then the seller decided the price was not high enough. Ebay removed the listing per the sellers request!?!?

Ebay stated the item was removed because it did not meet their guidelines. The seller sent me an e-mail stating the item was canceled because it was listed for the wrong price. The seller re-listed the item with the exact same info except for a much higher price.

Did a chat with Ebay and they suggested I purchase the re-listed item for the much higher price. So much for sales being a binding contract between buyer and seller. Definitely seems like a scam to me. I guess a seller can list an item, sell it for asking price, then decide he should get more money for it, and cancel the transaction. I am sure Ebay would not let me do that. So much for buyers protection.

I can not leave negative feedback for the seller or send a complaint to Ebay via customer service website since the item number is no longer valid.

Purchased an LG VX 9900 listed as brand new in box and used the buy it now option paid 115.00 for phone after shipping and all.
after 80 days phone would no longer charge. tried 2 times to contact seller gbx2006 never got a returned email. took the phone to a local cell phone repair center today and find out that the phone was in fact a refurbish model not only that the guy who fixed it said it should have never passed a final inspection to be sold as a working phone.. I opted to buy this one due to it being listed as new. could have purchased one listed as a refurbish model for half the price. I wanted a new one. Do not buy from gbx2006 on e-bay. below I pasted the original ad from Ebay.

eBay how they are ripping people off posing as a business that helps people sell products on ebay.

Hi There,

I just recently got scammed out of $260.00 from a company that was supposed to help people sell products on Ebay. The Agency is indeed a scam and I highly recommend that if you receive emails from close friends, stating that they've been involved with this company and that they've had success you should try it. Please don't go there.

That exactly what was done to me. I received an email from a close friend stating the following:-

Date: Sun, 22 Aug 2010 00:09:51 +0200
> Subject: Hi, take a look at this
> From: ...@hotmail.com (I've not added the person's name for obvious reasons) hope you understand.
> To: [protected]@hotmail.com
>
> hey check out my friends blog i'm pretty sure you are going to like this.. http://qh4n.makegooglemoney.com .. its way better than robert allen kit because they have a free trial that you only pay for shipping and handling, so you can see if you like it or not without risk.. Anyways read my friend Tim's blog you are going to like it.. I wanna share this with everyone because making money online is so easy and so far this method is one of the best ones i've tested so far..

Can't believe that I got scammed, I have sent the Federal Trade Commission a complaint so I hope that I can get all or part of my money back.

eBay buyers scam

I recently sold an 18K Gold and Stainless Rolex GMT watch to a guy, who I thought was in Branson Missouri, on e-bay. I found out later that he was in California and that it was actually shipped to another e-bayer in Branson, Missouri. After it was paid I shipped it the next day. Upon it arriving in Branson, Missouri I received an e-mail stating that it wasn't what the client wanted, that the box was fake and so was the watch band and they wanted to return it.I knew better than that, because before shipping the item I had it serviced at an authorized Rolex dealer, I even had the band polished. These guys along with a third accomplice, who is their watch maker, pulled a scam on me that has me convinced to never trust e-bay again. I was power seller with eleven years of doing business on e-bay, 100% feed back( Which by the way, means nothing to e-bay) until I was scammed by these guys. The way they work the scam is the primary guy is in Branson, Missouri, he sets upwhat appears to be a legitimate business selling watches. He hires a watchmaker (who happens to have a criminal past) and then hires individuals to buy watches for him on e-bay. The watches are sent to an address in Branson, Missouri that is nothing more than a UPS drop off store. Once there the crooks decide which watches they will try to get the buyers to refund some or all of the money and which ones they will legitemately pay for.( They do buy some to make it appear that they are legitimate to e-bay)For every watch they do buy, they steal a couple in between, it's like getting three for the price of one. In my case they wanted me to refund them $1500.00 of the $3500.00 to cover the cost for a new watch band. I told them no and agreed to refund their money providing the watch was returned to me in the same condition as it was when I shipped it. Upon inspecting the watch on it's arrival to me I discovered that it felt lighter than it was before I sent it out. i took it to the authorized Rolex dealer and they thought something was fishy. They recommended that I send it to Rolex USA in new york and that was when it was discovered that they had swapped the band. The band they put on it had Roles Stainless Steel links but the heavy 18K gold links were switched with non-Rolex 14K links. I refused to refund the money and the buyer complained to e-bay. Without my permission e-bay refunded this crook his money under the new buyer protection policy.I appealed this decision and cited that this buyer had other victims and presented proof, Bottom line, e-bay sided with the buyer and told me my loss was the cost of doing business.I had paperwork from the jeweler who I originally bought the watch from and service records from two authorized Rolex dealers. It didn't matter. SELLERS BEWARE! E-BAY BUYER PROTECTION, MEANS JUST THAT, BUYER PROTECTION, THERE IS NO SELLER PROTECTION!

eBay a fraudulent magic seller

this guy keeps claiming that he's a legit seller. i've spent over a thousand bux on his oils and a djinn ring. i've done what he told me to do. result? no manifestation, no changes in my life, and he said he can't give me my money back. he forced me to close the dispute saying that his account is frozen and that he can't sell his stuffs. so i did, and i can't claim my money back. i was so dumb not to know after closing a dispute, i can't reopen it.. now i'm stuck with his stuffs. after buying them and using them, i keep having bad lucks.

he said he's separating himself from other fraud sellers... wrong.. he just talks wisely and he is 1 of those fraudulent sellers. 1 of the buyer in another thread said the same thing and he's a scam. this buyer was right. i was immediately blocked after leaving bad comments in his guest book. and he ONLY ACCEPTS GOOD FEEDBACK IN HIS GUEST BOOKS.

if you notice, the people who leave good comments are buyers for other magic sellers.. and they buy not only 1 but multiple djinns from this seller.. but its over 2 years.. and u have to really take ur time and read his guest books and his feedbacks.. they're from THE SAME PEOPLE over and over again.. they're about how good looking his item looks like.. not about how it's working.

if its about how its working well, try to scroll more to the back page, they're the same people that tells you his items work..

trust me! i am a buyer and i try all the sellers in ebay.. 99% of them are fake.. but i get scammed the most by this guy.

I have bought oils from Lain and yes I can say they have worked. The healing oil was just that. I had bad back pain and I put some of the healing oil on my back and within hours my back was feeling better. I had a huge lump in my breast and I put some healing oil there and it is now gone. I wrote to him after placing an offer on a Madrid Djinn ring. I really wanted it, well a real Djinn vessel. He wrote back telling me that he would accept what I had offered. Cause what I had wasn't even half of what he was asking for. It was a very small amount, believe me. He was more concerned that his Djinn went to someone who really wanted a Djinn and would take the time and work with her. He went out of his way to get the items that the Djinn requested to go with her. He has sent me extra items with my order after customs rejected the package because it was oils. Now the people who complain that their oils dont work or the Djinn vessels dont work. What do you expect if you have nothing but negativity. You need to believe and be pure of heart. I have the wealth coins and wealth oils too and no, buckets of money don't come pouring from the sky in front of my door. But when I need work done in my house or I'm looking for specific things, out of the blue great deals come my way. I have recieved free things without even asking. Wealth isn't alway in the form of money. There are many other forms of wealth. But people are too blind to see it. Instead of blaming other people for your misfortune, try looking within yourself. You may be surprised at what you find.

I also spent quite a lot of money shopping with mountain_buddha. According to my personal experience, at least his wealth oil did work- I got money pay back the first day using it. So I think his Djinn items should be authentic too, this man is really informative in Djinn study and has sent me a Djinn E book after I purchase a Djinn ring from him. I believe that metaphysical items do work little by little, we do not except huge changes immediately.

eBay does not protect public

I purchased an alledged original piece of fine art by a famous dead artist from one of ebay's Top Seller's. I reviewed this seller's feedback as this was a large sale $5000 in Dec. 2009. The top seller had over 800 positive feedbacks and I was sent an appraisal, COA, and registration of the piece with the National Fine Art Registry.
I was told via the appraisal this piece was an origninal, but low and behold a trip to NYC prooved very informational. I actual saw the original hanging in the MET. Upon returning, I immediately wrote coinsandconsigment and they responded that what I purchased was in the style and not refund my money. I am going to contact the FBI and other legal authorities as I have read on th internet by Dr. Ledor who is an expert in the field of Fraud for this artist that ebay has had many pieces sold as real that are fakes. EBAY has been no help whatsoever. Besides trying to locate an address to write them, I finally was told that they take this seriously. Oh REALLY? If they took this seriously they wouldn"t allow a top seller get away with ripping off the public. I now have asked for the phone number and address of this seller and ebay has not responded so I will be taking stronger action to obtain the true identity of this scam artist. The feedback by coinsandconsignment are private now, what does that mean? Without the assistance of ebay I may not be able to locate this person as it seems thier physical location has moved.
I am really angry that ebay does not monitor Top Sellers who sell to the public. If we cannot trust them, then how are we to trust a small independent seller. I have been doing business on ebay since the early 90's and have never had the problems that I have had as much as recently. I had another instance of purchase and never received the item and followed ebay's policy of contacting the seller who NEVER returned my email. I gave it a month and followed ebay's protocal. Now, when I ask ebay for assistance, they say it is past the time frame and they haven't offered to contact the seller or assist me in any form except to give me some email addresses to file the complaint. Great, this will get chocked up to another live and learn lesson that ebay is NOT PROTECTING THE PUBLIC from unscrupulous sellers. CAVEAT EMPTOR using ebay. At your own risk, they will not help you.

Here is my correspondance to ebay.
Thank you for contacting eBay in regard to item # [protected] . I
understand how frustrating this situation may have been for you.

After reviewing the issue, I see you paid for this item more than 45
days ago. Unfortunately, to be eligible for our Buyer Protection you
need to have completed a purchase of an eligible item on eBay and have
submitted a claim within 45 days from the date of payment. Based upon
the timeframe, we are not able to open a claim for you for this
particular transaction. I hope you can understand that our current
policies do not allow us to hold sellers accountable outside of this
timeframe.

I do understand how frustrating this situation has probably been for you
so I would like to provide you with a few things you can do to resolve
this outside of eBay.

First, I suggest you contact the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
The IC3 is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation and
National White Collar Crime Center. They will review complaints and
refer you to the appropriate local, state, or federal agency. This is
recommended for items over $100.00. To file a claim from the IC3
website:

http://www.ic3.gov/

If your item is more than $200 contact law enforcement. To find a law
enforcement officer, go to www.usacops.com. If a detective is assigned
to the case, they can also contact us directly and we'll help with the
investigation. The detective will need to go to the following page:

http://pages.ebay.com/securitycenter/law_enforcement.html

Lastly, if you used a credit card to fund your transaction, I recommend
you contact their customer service department and ask them about
protections they may have (most credit cards offer buyer protection).

Thomas, I realize this wasn't the answer you were looking for, but I
hope I've been able to explain things clearly and I thank you in advance
for your understanding.

Sincerely,
Myra B.

eBay worst ever

I am dispointed in the ebay discussion boards on the australian site. I feel it very helpful or kind. Everytime you write in genuinly asking a question you are knocked to the ground and made to feel stupid for asking.
We all need to start somewhere, and yes, we all make mistakes hence the questions. But then according to the forum memebers you should already know the answer to your own question.
They are a bunch of power sellers who think they own the forums...there is no room for friendly or respectful responses. Sad as Im trying to build a business up, ive had to go to another site that is so much more helpful and offer kind resolutions and suggestions in a respectful and dignified way.

eBay response to complaints

I am a longtime lurker and sometimes poster on the Ebay Shoes, Purses and Accessories Discussion Board. I am also a member of The Purse Forum, Effen Haute, KnowKnockOffs Forum and several others based in the US and abroad. My participation in these groups is for my entertainment only.

This is in response to all of the complaints reference the behavior of some of the posters on the Ebay board. It is true that some sellers/posters are treated rather rudely by some members of the group. It is also true that some posters who frequent the board are only trying to help others with their problems. It is not fair for one to paint all posters who have been copied and pasted in the other complaints about the Ebay purse board as members of a “group” who harass and bully other posters. I have seen sellers attacked on the board by over enthusiastic members but often it is the seller/poster that provoked the attack. My opinion is if a poster doesn’t like an answer they have received, then just do not come back to the board. If their listings are removed, they do have recourse they can pursue with Ebay or the Vero members. My advice to other members of the Ebay purse board is to send your reports of fake purse listings to the Vero members.

Authentication Requests: I personally believe that unless it is an obvious fake for example the intertwined LV’s on fake Louis Vuitton bags, it is impossible to tell from pictures if a purse is authentic or not. Posters can give their opinions but it is ultimately up to the buyers/sellers to know if their purse is real or not. Depending upon the poster replying, they may or may not have your best interest in mind.

I have seen some reference to a list of preferred sellers being passed around by the Ebay purse board members. The only lists I have seen or have knowledge of are my own “Favorite Sellers” . None on my list are regular posters that I am aware of but I am aware that most use a board posting ID. If anyone wants a copy of my “Favorite Sellers” list, they are more than welcome to it. I do not know any of them personally as I have only had business dealings with them. I have no interest in their financial gain or loss. These are sellers who I have had successful transactions with and who I continue to look at what they are offering to see if anything fits into my collection. I do not consider someone who I have dealt with online as a “friend”. As a member of the Mafia said in the movies “Nothing personal, strictly business”.

To the people who are complaining here: I remember the incidents you speak of and I remember at the time thinking how wrong it was. If you have a problem with a specific person, then that is between you and them. Don’t include others who don’t have a clue as to what has been done in the past. Some people are followers and others are leaders who lead by example. Chose to be a leader who does right, calling people names, making racist/homophobe comments is not right in any way.
For the record, I never participated in any of these confrontations as I have seen it as a waste of time and energy. I am paid in my chosen profession to be aggressive with others when necessary; I chose to keep my online persona as neutral as possible. There are right and wrong aspects to this complaint and I hope others will keep an open mind as well.

Guess you should have changed your address then, huh?

Sorry, but Ive had that issue. Buyer cant remember to change their address, then blames it all on me. I have no sympathy what-so-ever for a buyer that cannot update their address. Its not hard to do.

Oh, and I believe you can file something with the PO for that theft.

I remember my first " Jessie Check " here in MN ( governor gave out a rebate of sorts for 2 years in a row ) The state had it in their records that they shipped to my new address, yet, when it came down to who got my check, and signed it, it had gone to a very old address.

I had to file with the PO some type of theft form ( because it was addressed to me, that person could not open my mail, however he did. Its a federal offense ) However, with your case, how would you be able to prove it?

While this is the buyers error, it seems that OP is not trying to blame the seller for the situation, rather go after the people he believes has his item.

You may want to contact the policy and run the story by them, see what they think.

Either way, will this seller get the pos they so richly deserve, even though buyer cant remember to change their address? Probably not, Im betting neut at best.

The only problem being, how will this person prove that those people really truly received said item? I guess he could sit outside their home, and wait for the PO person to show up to deliver mail, and give them the third degree about a certain package, but what are the odds of that happening and being able to prove?

Thanks BabyLove, for the suggestion. I guess it would not hurt to go to the police and see what they suggest.

For the record, I informed the seller that if I do get the camera (i know, slim chance), I would return the money and merchandise to him. There are still some honest people in the world.

The replies in this thread appear to come from sour folks who are looking to take out their frustrations on buyers, instead of addressing the issue at hand. Its Christmas people.

We are sour because, buyers like you, who are too lazy to log into PP and change your address, get their purchases mailed to the wrong address, then it comes back on the seller.

As for you, you made off, too lazy to change your address officially, yet, the seller gave you a full refund so to speak between money and product.

Just sick. Buyers like you make me sick. You should have refused both the money and the product since it was fully your fault.

Have you gotten your lazy butt over to PP and fixed the address issue yet?

For that matter, how long ago did you move? If recently, too lazy to fill out the change of address form at the PO? If its been over a year, you way too lazy if you havent made it to PP to change the address.

I really loved the " sellers honest mistake " give me a break.

When a seller hits print label from Ebay, it takes you to PP, where that info is already filled in. Had you fixed the address issue before you paid, the address would have been changed. However, you being the laziest person that you are, you couldnt take the minute it takes to change your address.

SAD just sad, and now seller is out the camera, the money and other product.

Gosh, what a great buyer. Just the type that Ebay needs on Ebay...

I am a great buyer, just look at my feedback, all purchases.

By the way, to the person that asked if i had 'gotten my lazy butt over to change my address', you obviously didnt really take the time to read my original post as the answer is there. You 'at home merchants' just read what you want to read and some how get off on being tough on the web.

*****Incidentally, the address is probably 5 years old. I never removed it but its not my default address so Im still not sure how the seller got it as I have made literally over a hundred purchases without a problem. The paypal screen defaults to your confirmed address but i can change that to a different one (my office address as an example) if I so choose. That wasnt the case here so its still a mystery as to how that address was selected as the mailing address.

If the address is 5 years old, why havent you deleted it off your account? Too lazy? Or were you planning on moving back there?

When you go to pay for your item, you should always verify the address. PP has glitches. That is not in any way your sellers fault.

And why on earth would you send a message to seller correcting the address, if in fact, the correct address was showing? Oh wait, you forgot to check to verify the invoice / payment notice was showing the correct address?

Buyers like you cost us money when you cant verify addresses. Then you have the gahoonas to take money and product back from the seller for your screw up? Stating it was an honest mistake on the sellers side? You make me sick. Like I said, you should have refused both because of YOUR error.

And Yeah, you have 100% feedback as a buyer. Jee, like every buyer has 100% feedback. Doesnt impress me one single bit.

did anyone count how many times 9724judge told that buyer how sick she was of buyers like that? is no one allowed to make a mistake?
