eDreams Ticket with Air India

I have booked a round trip with edreams from april13 to may 11, when i called them to ask for changes in my returning flight they told me it does not exist and must be an error. Like seriously, I paid for a round trip and got confiemation and everything now they are saying that it was just one way. They are just doing fraud with people.

Even air india is still sending me emails to upgrade my ticket but when i call them they says it does not exists. They both are fraud edreams and Air India.

eDreams Refund not received for the cancelled flight

I book a return flight using eDreams from London to Marrakesh. I leg from London to Marrakesh was confirmed but from Marrakesh to London was cancelled.

I paid in total of £336.02 for both legs. But since my return was not booked, i want a refund of that and there is no way of contacting them.

My tickets are with Ryanair and on their portal I can see that I have been charged for £204.15 and thus i want the remaining amount to be refunded

eDreams Flight change and refund request

My flight from 2020 was cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. I was promised that I was owed a refund in the form of credits/flight vouchers so that any future travel would not cost me anything.

I have had numerous unhelpful phone calls, staff really don't know what they're talking about and they seemed unable to understand my issue or the details I share with them.

I have just booked in another flight, and for my troubles, I think it's only fair that they refund both trips to me. Over €1,200 spent (TWICE)

This whole process has caused me a huge amount of stress, disappointment, anger, anxiety, frustration, insomnia and more — not even the mention the financial burden. I am a student, and this is not a sustainable system for other people like me. It's in fact a complete disregard for those who are on lower incomes and a whole issue in relation to equity imbalance.

I would like customer support staff to be more thorough with urgent queries, and be more understanding of issues faced. I felt like they didn't care when I told them how stressful the whole thing was and they were making false promises like 'you will receive a call in 1 hour' and I never did - time and time again.

I would like for E-dreams to create an email complaint/request form system on their site, and not just phone or web chat with a robot. Ryanair has it and it works well for them/customers.

I would like to request additional flight credits as a way to say sorry for the mistreatment I've been subject to over the past months.

Desired outcome: I would like a formal written apology from both E-dreams and Etihad and to request a monetary refund for my troubles.

eDreams Incorrect order: Hand Luggage included but not at the airlines level

I picked my flights with "Hand luggage included" on purpose when buying them on eDreams, discarding the options for some of the flights that did not. Proof is in the enclosed screenshot.

However when I called Viva Air, the airline for my first flight, to confirm that I had a Hand Luggage included, they informed that I didn’t. As advised by the customer service person of Helpdesk eDreams, I had to buy an Hand Luggage separately and ask for reimbursement by eDreams. However after entering 2 different cases, sending them numerous follow-up emails and calling them multiple times, I still have no news.

Desired outcome: 1. Reimbursement of the Hand Luggage cost for the first flight (213.425 COP) and the second flight (64,90 USD), and my third flight to come.2. An apology

eDreams Tickets full refund denied

I booked 3 tickets through edreams on April 17th under reference number [protected] (booking confirmation screen shot attahced). A few days later later, I noticed that CA $6,029.18 were withdrawn from my credit card instead of CA $4,654.93. It took me quite a while until I figured out what happened.

- First: While surfing for flight tickets, I was referred to the Canadian edreams website through another travel website. The ticket prices on the Canadian edreams website were and still are written in $ and not CA$. I continued to surf other travel websites, then got referred to the American e-dreams website. This is when all the confusion started.

The edreams American and Canadian websites are almost identical except for a very tiny box on the top right corner of the screen showing the country’s flag and currency. This box actually disappears once I scroll down the screen. Both the American and Canadian edreams’ websites have the ticket prices written in $.

Given the extreme similarity between both websites, I thought I was referred to the same edreams Canadian website twice and didn't notice that I was actually on the edreams American website, So, I booked my tickets on the edreams American website thinking I was paying in Canadian Dollars.

It's very easy for any Canadian customer to get tricked into paying in US$ given that;

1- the currency symbols on both the US and Canadian eDreams websites are exactly the same

2- both websites look almost identical

3- the currency flags on the top side corner of both websites disappear as soon as the screen scrolls down, thus eliminating any distinction between both websites.

Please check the screenshots I attached below.

Having read many reviews online after I saw my credit card statement, I discovered that my case is actually quite common, and that so many Canadians tend to get caught into the same trap. this is one website that highlights the problem: https://yyzdeals.com/third-party-airfare-booking-sites-power-rankings-who-to-trust-who-to-avoid

I checked other renowned Canadian travel websites like Expedia Canada and Kayak. I found that they do have a big ‘CA’ or at least a big ‘C’ on their Canadian websites before the ‘$’ to clearly distinguish between American and Canadian currencies, thus avoid confusing consumers when they make their bookings.

On Saturday April 23rd at 1.44am. a virtual assistant was the first thing to greet me when I decided to contact eDreams:

- Abhishek Mishra was the first human on-line agent to communicate with me on Sunday 11.16am Toronto time. He promised to send an invoice, which he never did.

- On Monday 3.56pm Toronto time, I communicated with the second human on-line agent named Karan Kumar. Still my issue wasn't resolved in any way.

- On April 25th at 6.16pm Toronto time, I called one of edreams phone agents for over 30 minutes. She was probably answering from a call center based in India and was indeed very provocative. She denied any mistake on edreams' part. I requested to speak to her supervisor but that never happened either. I believe there was no supervisor that she could possibly refer me to in the first place but she never admitted it. I have the phone conversation recorded on my computer.

- Second: I discovered that edreams has charged me using an exchange rate of 1.2952 instead of 1.2611 (the official currency exchange rate on that day) (screen shot attached). Accordingly, I paid an extra CA $160.0!

I took screen shots of: both the US and Canadian edreams websites, other Canadian travel websites, my credit card statement, my booking confirmation details and the official exchange rates on the date the day I purchased the tickets. I filed a formal complaint on edreams website attaching all the screen shots as proof. I requested a full refund and demanded a correction to the currency symbol on the Canadian website to avoid confusing Canadian consumers.

The following day, edreams sent me back an automated reply written in a mix of German and English and which didn't address my problem in any way screen shot attached). I truly found that kind of response extremely unprofessional.

If this is how edreams treated me before travelling, I can't imagine what would the situation be like if I got stuck in an airport for any reason and needed their help. They would never have my back. They have lost their credibility to me and I don't feel safe travelling with them with my two daughters especially that we are taking connecting flights.

Desired outcome: I demand a full refund for my tickets and an immediate correction to the currency symbol on the Canadian website. Otherwise, this is considered an intentional mistake by eDreams, which falls under consumer fraud.

eDreams Fraud and stealing my money

Edreams company stole my visa card details

And made and they charged me for nothing

I don’t know

How you can stole my card details an stole money from my own bank

While I blocked the card this fraud company still charge me for nothing

Just stolen money

I hope that people stop book any airplanes from this fraud company!

I want the manager to contact me

eDreams Refund

Hi

I am resident in Latvia. on the 13.04.2022, 54.99 EUR was withdrawn from my account by Edreams Travel agency. I wish to know why and have a refund as well.

eDreams Airline cancelled flight, edreams dont give any solution

What a scam!

I booked 2 tickets through edreams. 4/24/22 Milan-Boston.

Iberia Airline cancelled the flight, when i spoke to the airline they said since I bought the ticket through edreams, they have to come up with a solution. What edreams offered me was a partial refund of the money within 120 days window time.

Got stuck in Italy without money to get a new ticket that was $3000 because of the short time of departure.

What a scam !

eDreams Flight confirmation not sent

Hi,

I have booked flights from London to Athens and Santorini for 19th August.

It’s been a month after payment and I’ve not received any confirmation email. I am unable to get through on the phone or online because I do not have a booking reference number.

Please can you respond and confirm my booking number .

eDreams refund of my flight

Hi, I got an email that I cannot to get refund of my cancellation. Why? I have paid the cancel fee for the trip to Stockholm, but I get this letter from you :

In reference to your reservation with eDreams.

The ticket for your flight reservation K248UP // K24PKI not refundable as

established in the terms and conditions of the airline. For this reason, you

are not eligible to receive a refund for your tickets.

However, you can request a refund of the airport fees corresponding to your

reservation: (PNR), with it our service fees will be charged.

If your reason for cancelling is covered by insurance, we suggest that you

contact the travel insurer to verify if it is possible to request a refund

through it.

eDreams Airline tickets

I booked a return ticket for some friends from Nepal to Mauritius. They were to leave with Emirates 8 April 2022. When they were about to board the flight they were stopped on a technicality. For 2 weeks I tried to get eDreams to rebook. Eventually they rebooked for 22 April and sent "confirmed" tickets. When my friends tried to check in they were told the tickets had not been confirmed and that the airline had not been paid. I have paid eDreams for the original tickets and the changes.

They then sent a link that had nothing to do with this booking and pretended it was correct when the reference number was different.

eDreams Withholding refund for services not delivered

I purchased a return flight from Toronto to Minneapolis (Nov 21-Dec 1, 2021) for $401.19 and arrived at the airport to find no reservation. With great effort, I managed to talk to an agent via text, and was told that the airline cancelled the flights both ways. After assuring me they would process the refund, I elected to deal with this upon my return. I booked my complete return flight while standing in front of a ticket agent in the airport. Not only did this 3rd party provider not advise me of the cancellation, but they had booked me on non-existent flights.

Upon my return, I again contacted an agent via text (it's impossible to find a toll free number for this company) and was assured my refund would be processed. After this call, the website was now indicating "your booking has been refunded on Dec 21, 2021", but as of Apr 21, 2022, still no refund. After two additional agent text sessions, they are indicating that this transaction is still pending from the airline side and eDreams is following their process. The agents words are politely scripted, but there is no action. I can only assume that most people live with being thieved, as they have exhausted themselves.

Desired outcome: Full refund. This company should not be allowed to operate in this manner.

eDreams Cancelled flights to Australia by airline due to Covid.

My reference number is [protected]. I have been waiting for 7.5 months now for a refund for my tickets from Auckland NZ to Brisbane AUS. E-dreams is lying, and saying they are waiting for the money from the airline, which is not true. The airline, Air New Zealand say they never received the money from e-dreams due to the fact that the flight was cancelled. It is like trying to get hold of God, and then they don't understand a simple question like WHERE IS MY REFUND ffs.

eDreams Request to assist in correcting passenger name

Dear Sir/ Ma'am,

My flight booking mistakenly shows my middle name as my last name. I would like to request your urgent assistance as I need to correct the name details for my visa application.

The customer care service does not allow me to speak to a travel agent as the flight date is still 72 days away. However, I need it to apply for my visa and it would not be possible to do so without this. It has been terribly frustrating so far - hope to resolve this soon!

eDreams Booking shown as failed but not in reality

I was looking to book 3 flights for two person on Edreams website but when I have inputted the bank card info and ordered the payment it shown an error message saying that it was not possible to conclude and to rerun the flight search. I have done what was told, rerun the search and decided to buy other destination flights. When I had opened my email to confirm the booking it shown that the first try was completed even though on the website it was given another information that the reservation wasn't completed. I have now booked two sets of flights, which obviasly only be able to attend one.

Is it possible to talk any costumer service person to know if it is possible to cancel the first reservation since it was given to me mistakenly info on the website? I have tried to call numerous times but never able o pass the robot responses.

Desired outcome: Cancel one of the reservations made.

eDreams Refund for flight cancelled by British Airways

As part of my [protected] booking with eDreams, I was first to fly from London to Luxembourg on 15 October 2021 at 08:05 (British Airways BA 416 - Airline reference U4AUM7). This flight was cancelled by British Airways. I called eDreams many times but they were unable to help me. I booked another flight (separate booking) to Luxembourg with LuxAir and used the return flight booked through this eDreams booking ([protected]). I then called eDreams many many times at the end of 2021 to get a refund for my cancelled flight. They said they had requested one. I called them back recently after 6 month wait and they said BA’s answer to their request was negative. I called BA who told me that eDreams had NEVER contacted them to claim a refund on my behalf. They also confirmed I should get a refund for this cancelled flight but that only eDreams can claim it for me. BA said eDreams should call them on +[protected] to claim the refund on my behalf. I then reached out again to eDreams (I spent hours with them son chat or over the phone) - they always say they will contact me and never do so. They basically refuse to seek to get the refund for me.

The last time i chatted with eDreams through their app was last week - on 2022-04-09 i think.

I never got my refund for the flight that BA cancelled because of eDreams.

Desired outcome: They must refund me for this flight that was cancelled by BA / the airline. And there should be compensation for the inconvenience caused (hours spent with them - lack of respect from them - more than 6 month wait etc.).

Flug gebucht und bezahlt. drei tage angemahnt weil der Buchungs Code der Fluggesellschaft nicht übermittelt wurde.

dann eine Mitteilung, meine Buchung wurde durch Edreams storniert. kein Geld zurück, keine Vertragserfüllung. kein Kontakt möglich,

weder telefonisch (50 Minuten in Warteschleifen dann durch edreams abgebrochen) mails kommen zurück mit verweis an einen chatroboter.

der verweist ich hätte die Buchung storniert, keine Verbindung zum Berater / Agenten möglich.

jetzt bleibt nur noch Strafanzeige wegen Rechtsverstoß gegen internationals Fluggastrecht. nur Gauner und Ganoven?

eDreams Travel insurance misrepresentation

My daughter and I purchased travel insurance through eDreams for our trip from the US to Croatia. United States reentry states travelers must have a negative COVID test within a day of travel. My daughter and I tested positive the day before our flight. I called United (who we were booked on through eDreams) to let them know we could not travel. They said they would issue us a credit. When I contacted eDreams the day after we were supposed to travel they told me that I could not reschedule because I did not let them know more than 24 hrs before traveling.

It seems eDreams has advertised that travel Insurance is good for sickness and covid but only if you know these things 24 hours ahead of time. If one is symptomless as we were that is impossible to know. They have completely misrepresented how useful travel insurance is and seem to want to just pocket your money.

Additionally, I paid to reserve a seat on my long flight out (a window seat towards the front of the plane) and instead received an aisle in the middle section of the plane in the very last row. Again, it seems they just wanted to pocket my money.

Thus far it’s been impossible to get a live person on the phone. Hold times are incredibly long.

Desired outcome: A return flight to the US at no additional charge to us
