I bought a Eureka Forbes water Purifier nearly 7 months back. They had mentioned at the time of sales that they provide the best service to the customer. In my case nobody came for the service after 3 month or 6 months which they were supposed to do. Then suddenly my machine reported some fault. I made a complaint to the toll free number and they gave me a code number. They told the same day a person would visit me and solve the problem.
Nobody turned up. I used to call almost everyday, and had to describe the entire problem regularly. Then after nearly 20 days one guy came who did not even know to open the machine. He told he would come the very next day and we kept waiting days and weeks. After inquiring with others I came to know that most of the people in our are are getting the same kind of experience and they seldom do the service properly.
If your machine fails they will not turn up. Those who came gave some vague answers and nothing got right. In between I contacted the people who sold the machine to us. They told service is not their division. For the past 2 months We are not able to get filtered water. My friends are telling me that I have done a mistake by selecting this brand.
Will Eureka Forbes be responsible for any health issues arising from this. If they can refund the money and take the machine, we would be greatly happy and can go for another brand.
This is the worst Experience I had from any brands. If they are not able to repair the machine (booster model) they should not sell it. Better they stop marketing it and taking the health of the people into their hands.
i have purchase one aquaflo from marketing division(utkal marketing&service...near seva nursing home...sakhipara sambalpur... mob no.[protected]) during time of purchase they never say that no servicing will available from them..my m/c serial ..no...2026815, invoice no...231 date purchase1.8.07. within warranty period who will perfom servicing...i am in great trouble.
I purchased one RO water filter Forbes make for which i was assured service from Eureka Forbes Nagpur. With in one year the Power supply unit failed in the month of May [hottest part of summer]. The unit was replaced after a number of trials by the service engineer. After fifteen months of this replacement the power supply failed again, which was replaced but then the entire filter was damaged.
1. The over flow water which earlier used to stop periodically now does not stop.
2. The water earlier used to flow smoothly now flows with a jerk and noise.
3. The water leaks from all over keeping the surrounding of the filter wet and unhygienic.
4. The service engineers are now avoiding visiting and giving service.
I bought Eureka Aquaflo some time back, till last year when the after sales service was with the private organizations I had no problem in services, but after the company has taken over the AMC it has become worst. I had to complain and wait for 3 to 4 days till they come for service, but before i used to get my work done in 8 hours. I wanted either the management to take this matter seriously or give the maintenance contract to private franchisees as earlier otherwise they will loose lot of customers.
I had put in a service request for the installation and repair of my Eureka Forbes aqua guard. The request was registered with id SRI26/4. I was assured that somebody from service department would get in touch with me. But i just kept on waiting. I gave repeated calls to call center and got apologizing responses with everytime a new false promise that somebody will be sent on the same day. I tried to contact their manager Ms Veena also. But i think she is also part of the game coz she never picks up her phone.
More so their is no grievance link in the Eureka Forbes website. To add to my pain, the site boasts of the best service.
Can somebody suggest me what can we do as an individual against these companies who take their customer for granted.

I had entered in to a service contract for the vacuum cleaner manufactured by the above company. I have been using machine for the past many years without much problem and it had gone out of order on 26th June 08 which i had registered with their helpline on 27th June 08. Their assurance of service within 48 hrs had not materialized till the evening of 20th June 08 and hence I have been contacting them twice daily from then onwards without any result. Their franchise whose people came to my house to enter in to the contract is not accessible due their phone not functioning and the helpline people also do not know any other contact number of theirs to give me. So, the negligence on the part of the parent company and that of their franchisee has put me in this difficult spot and I am preferring a complaint with the consumer forum. It is a shame that such a reputed organization has come to such a rotten state of affairs.
I purchased Aquaguard RO in the month of April from a sales person from Aquaguard named VEERA MANIGANDAN from chennai. I called him after 3 months since he had not given me Cashbill for the purchase. But, since he knew my number he did not pickup the phone in the first time, and because of repeated calling he attended the phone and when enquired about the bill he asked me to contact the Head Office and disconnected the phone immediately. (This is the way they treat their customers).
The Head office is even worse. I called them 2months back asking for the bill but still there is no response till this date.
I suspect they are doing illegal sales and preventing themselves from paying tax. The After Sale Service is the poorest which i have ever seen in my life. so PLEASE DO NOT BUY EUREKA FORBES PRODUCTS AT ANY COST...

Recently one month back I brought water filter from Eureka Forbes Aquaguard, Model - Gold Nova. The instrument was faulty from the time of installation, the on-off button was not operational, I complaint the same to in installation engineer at the time of installation, but he refuse to take back the unit, and ask me to complaint to the sales person whose made the deal. I contacted him many times but always received falls promises of replacing the unit but so far no action has bean taken, after one month the unit is idle at my place. This is very poor quality of service from the company!
I bought this product JUST 3 MONTH BACK and Now it is under the annual service contract by Eureka Fobes. Now it is not working. I have logged several complaints to their head office through net and also their local service center regarding this and no one has come to my place and they have not tried to contact me as well. Their service is one of the worst after sales support. My sincerer advise for the people is not to buy the eureka forbes products. THEY HAVE NO ARRANGEMENTS FOR SPARE PARTS.
Their customer support is also pathetic. No one listens to us. I am planing to file a case in the consumer court for this. Please encourage all your friends not to buy any product from eureka fobes. They are the No1 cheater in this world. I regret for buying this product!

I have purchased the water purifier from eureka forbes and I am using it for more than a year. Once after the warranty period is over I made the AMC contract with the Eureka fobes for the further service. But now there are not ready give the service and they are delaying it from past two months. Every time when I call them they are raising the complainant but none of them came to attending the complainant. Its not at all necessary we to call them, they have to come themselves to service instead we are calling them and requesting them saying we don’t have any other resource for Drinking water and we are suffering for the drinking water. I totally agree with this. I wish there was a way in which the pathetic customer service of Eureka Forbes can be made more public. I think the company should be forced to close down manufacturing Aqua Sure (and maybe other products as well) and return our money. We bought Aqua Sure about 8 months back. We had problems getting it to work. From then till now, we have been calling the customer service (at least 30 times). They keep promising that someone will come the very next day but no one has turned up yet. I feel terribly cheated and agitated. We spent about 1800 rs for nothing. I am now trying to find a way in which I can sue the company.
Take the MD to court, File a crimanal case against them. Then only they will learn a lesson.Nt to cheat People.If Head works properly then, the root will be do so.I will never buy this product.

I have purchased a Eureka Forbes Aquasure storage water purifier on 2nd August 2008. As per the instructions I have been doing regular cleaning of the filter and all other parts weekly. However since the past 3 weeks I have noticed that the entire water from the top container does not filter down to the bottom container.
I had been given a service center number at the time of purchase, (022-[protected]). I have been complaining on this number for the past one week. My complaint number is 830. Everytime the lady on the phone tells me that the mechanic would be at my place that day but that day hasn't dawned yet, inspite of me calling them everyday. I have even talked with the so-called mechanics, a Mr. Nikhil, ([protected]) and a certain Mr. Dilip, but till today they haven't got the time to visit my place and look into my complaint. So, what do you have to say?
I am obviously very unsatisfied with this kind of an attitude of your people. If you guys can't handle these things then why do you dupe honest customers like us.
Let me know if you can handle this at all or I should take further appropriate action.

We have purchased one water-purifier and signed an annual maintenance contract of 2 years for maintaining this product. The contract was signed on 10.11.2007 and valid upto 09.11.2009 .Invoice number of contract receipt number is 663 . This contract was signed with the Eureka-fobes's frenchisee M/s- CARE Enterprised, Chandmari Chowk, Motihari, W.champaran for Rs. 1690. But till date service of my water-purifier has not been done and my purifier is non-functional since may-2008. We have contacted the said frenchisee for several times on their contact number +91-[protected], but in vain. Now we are forced to drink boiled water since may-2008. This product was supposed to maintained at interval of every Six(6) months. So I request you to maintain my system as per contract and bring my system from non-functional to functional condition. My system was supposed to have one charcoal changing in May, which has not been done, so please extend my contract for another Six(6) months. We have talked to Muzzafarpur, b ut it has of no use. So please help us to bell out of this agony.

I own a Eureka Forbes Water Purifier Model-Nova-I. It has been giving me trouble free service till date. I have a AMC with the Company valid till 27/3/2010. It is surprising to note that Nobody has bothered to come from Monsoon time, till date to carry on the periodic Service which they are bound to visit and carry.
On 15/10/08, I contacted their Euro Helpline and was attended by Ms. Shweta. she assured me that some one will come within 48hrs and service the Equipment. Nobody turned up on 16, 17, 18th etc despite constant reminders, except for their sweet assurances consistently. I again called on 20/10/08, after getting totally disgusted at the unprofessional service attitude, which has never happened earlier. I was attended by Ms. Amrita, again sweet and courteous, assuring me that she will personally look into the issue. I make it quite clear that I am fed up with all the assurances. She tells me to hold on and she will put me on to her Senior Mr. Abdul. Line gets disconnected. I again Redial and get connected to Mr.Raustin, who again asks me to be cool and will do the needful. Pathetic Service from Company Who Claim- " Your Freind For Life ". Ultimately I call their Office at Prabhadevi and speak to Customer Service Ms. Anu Kotian at around 5.00pm. She is yet to act and get back.

I completely agree the above complaint(s). In addition to worst after sales service, I also face problem with the replacement cadridge for the Water Purifier (25 ltrs). I bought this product due to the brand name and trusted that the quality and service will be good. At the time of sale, the sales person has promised, the cadridge will be delivered at door steps once we place a request. However, this is not true. When we called customer care, they said, free door delivery is not applicable after the guarantee period and this information was not mentioned at the time of sales. Moreover, if we need the cadridge at door steps, we need to pay Rs. 250 extra or else we have to visit one of Eureka's agency which is far away from our home.
Now, I have decided to buy the same product from the other brand which delivers the cadridge at no extra cost. I assume the Rs.2500(approx) is a loss to me.
One advise to Europe Forbes Management: Please do not recruite the salesperson who are not loyal either to your company or to customer. I am hundred percentage sure, that this type of incidence will surely bring bad image to your brand.
I will strongly recomment my collegues, relatives and Friends not to buy any product from Eureka Forbes.

I had posted a complaint few months back. Now that the issue is resolved and our AquaSure is working fine, I wanted to remove my complaint. Since I realised there was no way to remove my comment, I decided to leave another comment.
Ms Sowmya from Eureka Forbes got in touch with us after seeing my complaint here. Since then, the response from the company (especially the Bangalore employees) has been very good. Finally, a service person visited us and replaced the part that had a problem. I would like to thank Sowmya and others who finally took notice and resolved this problem. They have helped us regain trust in the company. I would request them to act sooner than this time with other customer problems. Thanks again. I would like to thank Complaints Board too for giving us the platform to lodge complaints.
