employee parking vs customer advantage and convenience
I am a resident of springer Nm and regularly shop at the new store in town. I continuously see the two most elderly, disabled, physically, weather and customer convenient spaces, (more convenient than the handicap spaces) taken by employees. Being that customers come first in an ethical business practice, I believe you will contact said store and encourage better customer courtesy regarding business hour parking accommodating customers rather than i###t stick-addicted employees. unprofessional and rude employees
many health issues and I was freezing. I continued to get the products I needed. I got to the counter to pay and the same cashier rudely continued I went to our neighborhood family dollar today January 1, 2017 between 5:30-6 to get a case of water and toilet paper for my grandmother. I am in this store sometimes three times a day. tonight I walked in and grabbed a cart when I was rudely attacked verbally by a clerk by the name of Victoria to remove my hat and refused to check me out. I think its crazy that I cant even wear my hat that's attached to my jacket. I replied No because I have to tell me to remove o into a store because of the way I was dressed! I understand the leaving your bags at the front because of shop lifting, but to tell someone they can NOT wear their jackets or hats is inhuman and in violation of our freedom. It is so crazy that this world and employees of public stores can make up rules and do as they wish...I have seen so much stuff from the employees located at 610 E. Broadways st Toledo 43605. This store has the most ghetto and unprofessional employees they stand around and talk about their personal lives, text and use their phones while people are waiting in line to check out. this store really needs investigated and something done to correct it. back in June I witnessed a manager placing bags next to the dumpster before the end of his shift and shortly pulling up after grabbing the bags and placing them in his car. we are being mistreated by employees when it is clearly the employees are stealing and making it unpleasant to shop our local Family Dollar store. I will talk to local news stations as well about this matter. I sent my son back in the store to take pictures to prove there is no proper legal postings of PROPER CLOTHING YOU MUST WEAR OR NOT WEAR TO SHOP!

December 20 th, Angie an employee at Birch Run family dollar treated me like I wasnt a valued customer and she could care less if I called corperate to report the incident, thoses amoung others were her words mocking me and forcefully exspressing her feelings towards me . It was about 9:45 in the evening, I had a few items to return, I called before walking there to make sure that the items I needed to rwere okay, Angie said yes if it wasnt more than 30 day's and if I had the receipt, I said I wasnt sure I could find the receipt but I bought these things the first of Dec, she okay then she would have to put the return amount on a family dollar card, I said that was fine. Upon processing the return she zipped threw the process in a matter of minutes, when she got done she looked at the receipt and said is this a debit card u bought these with, I said yes, she said it doesnt say so, I said thats all I ever used you all know that by now, as Im in that store at least twice a week, I spend several hundred dollars there every month angie said how would I know that, I said you mean your going to make me ******* walk home to get the card, she said yes. She knew by that time the store would be closed, I dont know why she didnt want to complete the return, she should have said so. I found the card in my pocket, which really set her off, she said we are all very nice to you and you come in here and your nothing but nasty to us all, I said what, Robbin and Wendy said I was one of their favorite customers and others, she said oh yah, your a favorite customer okay yeah right okay blah, blah, blah... I said Im going to call corperate and let them know about this, she said oh shes gonna call corperate, Good I hope you do, all the while she's saying this stuff she's looking at the other employee behind the counter. Lastly she said you come in here at ten minutes till closing and want to do all this stuff, so you have ten minutes till we close you better get going... and I did find my receipt before going to there. Now attitude starts at the top, this isnt the first time Ive had and employee there disrespect in a manner Ive never seen employee's react to customer's, I 100 % beleive if you have a manager that treats customers like there disposable and she can talk abo;ut her employees to them and vice versa, berate customers in front of others, then why wouldnt her employee's feel free to do the same... Phyillis shouldnt work with the public if she cant handle it... enough said, I've complained about the incidence with Phyillis before, nothings been done

I called your corp office on Monday, was hung on by one of your agents after on hold for 40 minutes. I called back and was transferred to a supervisor’s voicemail that has not to this day returned my call. The problem I have is that my son will be very dis pointed for x-mas and I have a product that I paid 50.00 for that is no good.
I called your corp office again on Tuesday and still have received a call back. This is so sad not to receive a call back.
I shop at Family Dollar all the time, but this experience has caused me never shop there again and not to tell anyone else to. I want my money refunded and I will write whomever I need to, because your company is selling bad products and do not stand behind what you sell. Wal-Mart and Fry's give refunds; I wished I had gone there instead. I am very dis-pointed that this happen at Family Dollar.

Then she rolls her eyes. Gave me a 👍 and told us to leave. Wow never been kicked outta a store. Walmart took my check. Never step foot in this one again and the manager doesn't even look like she knows what's going on.
Plus it's dark in this store most of the bulbs are burnt out.

My sister and I patronized the family dollar store on summit ave.In greensboro, nc on december 17th, 2016. When I approached the counter with my younger sister, the store manager, fatima, started to harass my sister. She started accusing her of stealing a honey bun when she did not steal anything. As I stand there with $50 in my hand, I asked her, "what did you say?". She responded saying, "i said, did she put that honey bun down that she had earlier?!" at this point I am embarrassed, confused and furious. I exclaimed, "ma'am, we both have college education and excellent jobs. There is no reason why any of us would steal from family dollar. " I asked for her name and she said, "fatima, do you want me to write it down for you?!" all the while, she is using a sarcastic tone and smirking. She does not have the skills and capabilities to work with the public. I have worked in retail and in loss prevention and she does not posses the mindset and temperament to accomplish the goals that i'm sure family dollar has set for her. She is losing customers because of her attitude.
The Family Dollar store in Birch Run Michigan is infested! Buyer beware... time after time I've told the Manager Phyillis and several employes that there's insects on the shelves and on the clothes, recently I'm finding them in the frozen foods and the cookies as well as the towles, sheets etc. I'm sad that no one listens there, mainly Phyillis, . It's her job to make sure all's safe there, Right? I'm upset that things have gone from bad to worse there, as I'm currently without transportation, so having FD close enough to walk to was nice, and I could save a little money, but it's not worth it to eat bug's in your food and wear them on your clothes . I know for a fact theres an infestation as I know people who worked at that building when it was Ruckert's, and. roofer's who worked on the store roof, said to be really careful on what I but there... Low and behold they were right... and manament totally disregards my complaint's. Im going to check into the Public Health Dept to see what can be done...
assaulted by manager for being a cop's mother
On Thanksgiving Morning 2016, around 10AM, at the Family Dollar Store in Rising Star, TX. I was assaulted by the Manager for being a cop's mother.
Went to counter to pay for items when the store manger asked me if my son was now a cop here in town. I replied "yes, when he suddenly grabbed the items out of my hand, reached over the counter and shoved my buggy away from me, while he yelled that my business was not welcomed there! Stunned, I asked if he was refusing me service because my son was a cop here in town? He yelled back, "YES I AM!" I have reported him and incident to both the District Manager and our local sheriff's dept.
When he yanked the items from my hand, it resulted in a cut on my right thumb knuckle. Since the incident, I have been afraid to leave my home, when I do, I try to make sure I am not alone. I certainly don't go into that store anymore. I did have a witness step forward who gave a statement of the entire incident.
The sheriff's off has the video, conveniently with no audio, and DA's office has witness statement.
Days later, the same manager approached my landlord's wife and chastised her for renting to us.I do not understand what this man has against cops, but for him to take his hate out on me, was very hurtful, humiliating frightening to the point I can't hardly go anywhere without someone to be with me. The Eastland County Sherriff's Dept, is supposed to have copy of video. They do have pictures of my cut thumb. Also statement from witness.

while standing in line at check out there was a women in front of me, she went next to go to register 3, regester 2 was closed, register 1 was occupied, the gentlemen at register 3 was coming on to the female customer who was carrying a 33lb bag of dog food and insisted he carry it out for her but she kept refusing and he left his register following her leaving me standing in line, as he walked out he turned to me and said go to my register 3 the other gentleman will help you, I went to the register 3 and the gentlemen said to go to register 1 he cannot help me, I walked over to register 1 as I put down my merchandise the gentleman who was perusing the female walked in at looked at me and said I told you to go to register 3, i said I was told there that the register was closed and he instructed me to go to register 1, I am at register 1 now she can ring me up, she refused to check me out as she was instructed by him not to help me, and he insisted I go back over to his register or I will not be allowed to make my purchase, I told him it was obvious what his agenda was and that I will deal with it later, just ring me up, I am a customer and want to leave, with that he started screaming at me throwing up his hands asking me what I meant and made me very uncomfortable I told him I was leaving and he told me to f---king leave as I did, I told him to go F--k himself he will be reading about his deplorable behavior in writing, he said f--k you as I walked out, there are cameras everywhere in your store the incident occurred at approx.2:45 PM to 2:55 PM on Sunday 10/23/16 you can view it all and see how he totally disrespected the women he was perusing while making me wait and then disrespecting me when he returned, I am outraged at his behavior and even more embarrassed that he instructed the women at register 1 not to ring me up leaving me defenseless, this is not a person you want to be in charge of your establishment, you just lost a good customer over a person who puts himself ahead of your business to try to hook up with your customers, what a disgrace.

pasta salad/ had bugs in noodles
I bought 3 boxes of pasta salad.. Ranch and bacon flavored...7.5oz... All 3 were sku 1230389... V-62356...0 [protected] 1... I bought the first box may 25, 2016... I cooked that box of pasta, the peas were hard but I did not notice any bugs... I assumed I over cooked the pasta... I bought 2 more boxes of that same pasta mix... I cooked the pasta and saw the little tiny bugs in it... I noticed the date on the box said best by feb 26th 2016. The 3rd box also had the same bugs in the pasta bag... Today june 1st... I returned the 2 boxes and the receipt for the 1st box I cooked and ate... I threw away the 2nd receipt by mistake. Family dollar would not exchange my pasta with bugs in it for something else. The last 4 boxes that were there when I bought my 2, over the weekend, were gone. I took a suddenly salad betty crocker box up front and the cashier said no refund or exchange because I did not have the first box or the receipt for the last 2 I bought.. Now I want my money back on all 3 boxes. I don't think it is fair the boxes were out dated and still on the shelf and I bought them all in one week. I would not lie for $3.90 cent... They are called weevils. A common beetle type bug found in wheat and grain products. In the south, we keep flour, sugar and corn meal in the fridge to prevent the weevil eggs from hatching. There is honestly no way for any manufacturer to prevent this from happening. They mature when their environment get humid, so warm air will cause them to be active. Many things you eat have bugs in them, you just can't see them.
All I do when I see then in pasta, is scoop them out with my spoon, and continue cooking.
Most places won't return anything without a receipt, and most of the places that will are going back to the past where a receipt is needed. Too many scam artists have ruined it for all. Next time, keep the receipt. And keep your home temperature a bit cooler.

I purchased a phone from family dollar at 499 n. marion may 9th. I also purchased a 300 minute phone card. Ive only used 270 minutes and it tells me I dont have any time left. The girl working fri. morning 5/27 at 9am told me I had to have the box to get a refund. If we kept every box from the items in our house can you imagine what your house would look like. Their website says if you have the box, so apparently they arent training their employees. Ill never buy another thing from these rip-offs.
What is the name of the service on the phone card? THAT is the person you call for the minute problem, not the store you bought the phone at. No store will take back a cell phone without ALL original packaging. That is just how it works.

Hi I been shopping at this Family Dollar for the past 6yrs and have seen employees and managers come and go . I work hard for my money and rarely get to get off work to shop. I frequent Family Dollar for all my household needs and grocery needs too!
There is a employee named Shannon that has such a big and rude mouth, she crossed the line when she spoke to a women's husband inappropriately. The wife heard her, and she went very lady like to Shannon who was running the register and I was next in line soo I heard everything.
The lady walked up and said "excuse me, please do not talk to her husband like that, everytime he walked in she has been inappropriate, like as if she "shannon"knows them or something"
As a hard working woman, and widow I totally agree with that young couple, because like I said I have been shopping there for years and have witnessed shannon be innappropriate to other customers there too before and this morning, and that is why I had to take time outta my day too make this complaint.

I went to work today instead of working on the cash register, or stocking.She had me to do the one thing that known of the other would do.Manual labor i had to clean out from under all the store shelves .I found food for people and cats and dogs that had expired in 2013.I had one bag that contained more 50-60- thing that had been stole.But like she said she was not worried about any part of the store but the front.I went over threw yesterday 1 guy opened up him so chips and was walking around the store eating them, and 7 more people got away with things to But i could not say nothing even after i was told last year by someone in human resources .Sonya got in touch with team relations.The man she talked to was named John Alverez . He was suppose to be working on with someone to get my money i missed out on because she a black lie.Another thing she did while i was out of work she gave them all raises.I worked at that store before any of the part time and full time.I should have been got a raises but i have not.Sonya got 166 hours to work with this week--41.50 is how many she is getting, 36 for Nicol, asst.manger ANGELA-32 HOURS, Stephen part time got 26.50 and part time Tabitha got 27.50.She is doing exactly what she was telling her assit.
money owed to me, 3 hours, medical neglect
I just went back to work in March 4 HOURS one day i did 6 test that day .Sonya had something to say about that she act like i was suppose to finish more than 25 test in one day.i take my time to make sure i don, t make no mistakes.The following week i finished more than 18 test that day in 4 hours. i knew i had to take the test but that was last week.If i am a part time worker and all i got was 3 hours.The other part time workers don, t have more experience than me.i can stock that whole store by myself plus run the cash register.But there is one very important thing that Sonya all ready said she is not worried about the rest of the store but the front .Where the cash register are i went over there yesterday i seen 8 people stealing, one just took some chips off the small rack and was eating them while walking around the store.i had been tould by someone in the head office instead of telling them about it do something.i went over to the store one evening i got me a basket went around the store and filled that basket up with empty packages where people had stolen what was in them and i took them up to the counter.While i was up at the front Steven another kiss ### i tould him not to sell that book shelf radio because that was the same one i bought before Christmas and i did not knnnnnnow it had been returned before i got it .The cd player didn, t work, it was missing parts to it like the remote.Now it is back behind the counter Sonya will end up putting it up again just to wripe somebody else off.Sonya has big anger issue 3 or more times a day she loses her temper at someone .She needs anger mangement treatment.After the way she kept on me about my pin and ignoring me when i said i was still under doctor care thats where the charge of Medical Neglect come from

i went to pick up my hours for the up incoming week and it was like i was being told your fired again .She all ready had this planned to cut my hours so low till i just give up.My hours was cut to 3 hours to give the other part time and full time workers more overtime.My god sister was in the store when she was talking about it to another employee.I did not get terminated because of Sonya the store manger lies.Then get hired back to work for nothing because that is what 3 hours aint worth the time .How is 3 hours going to help me pay my bills?Buy me food to eat, Pay my medical bills?There is only going to be enough money left to buy my smokes.

i work at store 185 in Kannapolis N.C. 28083.I have been there since June I was hired as a stocker under Brenda the manger at the time.she got fired for not giving drug test .Now the new manger Sondra King she has not done that or even mention it to any the employes .She got caught in her web of lies about why i got fired.She said it was because i didn, t come to work but was the one that tould me not to come back to work until i could remeber my password for the portal.She failed to tell me that she could or me could change it on the computer in the store.When i was stocking i did at least 5-6 u boats in a day and 3 pallets.She has lose total control of the store profits are down compared to when Brenda was manger, we never had to call in nobody from different stores to come and help stock the store.4 times she has let stock room get so filled till you barely had room to walk.Plus 3 times she has got freezer food which is suppose to be put up as soon as you get it.She have left it out more than 4 hours before she put it up.Now that me getting fired was over turned for her lieing in the first place .Tell me how is 3 hours going to pay my bills ?The other partime workers get over 20 hours a piece .Sonya is racists i learned that from the store she came from.She has got a whole list of compliants against her going all the way back to the store she came from.But i have not seen nowhere any action was taking against her.It is the same way in my probelm against her nothing was done.You all claim to be honest, fair, loyal to the employes, respect our privacy which is a lie when i talked to HR i got asked question that no one should have known.So who is leaking classified information out?This man name John of the family dollar team relationship told me that someone was working on getting me my money lost because of a lie

On January 2, 2016 I bought a tombstone supreme pizza from family dollar in utica ny on genesee St. When I got home I went to go make it for my family an the pepperoni was brown looking.. So I looked at the expiration date an it was dated august 31 2015. That's when I called the family dollar store to complain about my old expired pizza an I spoke with the manager of the store. She was extremely rude an did not know what to do about my problem an also told me they check there freezer's an stuff regularly... basically telling me theirs nothing they can do. Then when I got there the manager didn't know how to put money back on my card said she couldn't do it. An she gave a bunch of attitude about it saying she's not putting it back on the card. So an employee had then spoke up an told her that you can put money back on the card. The manager didn't want to but the little older lady working knew how she was the only one working that knew what she was doing .. That's seems the manager did nothing about it an should not have a job working with people or having another employee help her when she should be helping the employee's not the other way around. While the "manager" was outside the rest of the time I was there.. doing nothing not even her job as a manager helping a customer that did nothing wrong.
