problem with pricing at store 12/20/22 @4:26 pm
store has a problem with honoring prices was in store purchase poligrip denture cream cashier rang item up at $5.75,but sign states $5.00 store would not honor what sign has. workers would not even come look talking about what in the computer this is not the first time this has happen. if the prices on shelf is incorrect then they need to be removed. since your store can honor the price that a customer tell you i can no longer shop at your store located at 2501 dixie highway louisville, kentucky Store #00926 futher more i requested a refund of all my money spend at that time. why is it so hard to file a complaint one customer lost

I was racial provoked by your manager Tammy in cynthiana kentucky
1 month and half ago I walked in the store to get hooks for ornaments. She was setting down and asked her for help. She just pointed, she never got up so I had to go to Walmart cause I couldn’t find it. When I was leaving a white lady walked in and she gladly helped her because she white. So today I go get something for my mother and she was provoking me still. Ever since the first incident. So today I ask for cooperate number and she told me she don’t know it and wouldn’t get it. Look on the camera on 12/20 bout 4:55-5:10. You see she denies me the number to corporate
Desired outcome: Demote her or fire her. My lawyer wants to send you all a letter but I need address. My lawyer told me let him do all the talking. So that’s what I’m going do.
Sexual assault
On 8/5/22 my nephew and I pressed charges on a employee who touched me inappropriately. I ran to my nephew and told him about what he did. Less than two minutes later my nephew told me the employee did the same thing. I didn't believe it at first. We both argued about physically hitting the employee. I said no and told him to follow me. As we exit the store I noticed the cashier looking at us with her eyes wide open.
The Grantsville City Police Department launched an investigation. The Detective encouraged my nephew to confront him about his actions. The employee denied it at first but after awhile he confessed. Detective Greeko told us that we have a solid case. We were then introduced to a Victims Advocate, Delia Kirk.
We are still dramatized about the whole situation and want to file a civil suit against the employee for emotional distress. My nephew has been through a lot and this incident is making it worse.

Misty the manager in Pine
Misty is the manager of the family dollar in pine and is very rude to all customers and employees. I have a friend that knows someone that works there and was in pain and needed to seek medical attention, but Misty acted with no sympathy and saw it as a problem. She did not want to give this lady off and thought with no concern at all. She is always rude to any customer that she has to speak to and that should be unacceptable of her. She also has had an employee get sick while at work and was vomiting in the bathroom but insisted on them staying and working the rest of the night. That is a health hazard if any. She never greets anyone with a smile, acts stuck up, and treats customers as if she is better than them.
Desired outcome: I would love to see her removed from this location at once
Misty is the manager of the Family Dollar/Dollar Tree located in Pine Louisiana on HWY 62. She is a very rude person that acts as if it is a problem when checking a customer out when another employee is on lunch break.

Returned a few items i realized i was alegic too some ingredients in products.
But cashier refused to return products on 12/19/22 @ 10am store #04387 804 Maxey Rd. Houston Tx.
Furthermore refuse to give me back my reciept that i keep for my personal records.
Also other items where on receipt as well that i purchased besides those particular items.
She was rude and ignored me completely
When i demanded my reciept that i had rights to keep for my personal records as well if i had a issue with anything else.

Poor customer service
Friday evening around 6:30 pm I went to the family dollar near me on Stafford rd. I only needed a few items but I only had a $100.00 Bill
the cashier informed me that she could not break it because her shift just started and also informed me that the manager on duty shouldn't have a problem because he had been there all day... She called for the manager I don't know his name because he wasn't even wearing a name tag,when he FINALLY approached the registered he just looked at her and kept walking, so she called out to him so can you break this without even looking back he shouts out a NO so i turned to him and asked is it that you cant? or because you don't want to? now from nearly at the end of the aisle he is yelling at me as if I were his child that he didn't have money and because he didn't like my attitude he wouldn't have anyway.. nice huh? so as i walk out after being told i needed to go to supermarket next door to break my bill "a store that also carried the items I was purchasing" he then approached me at the exist door to tell me that if anyone is going to give him an attitude he would say ANYTHING HE [censored]ING WANTED" THAT IS A DIERECT QUOTE! I SAID NOT TO ME YOUR NOT HE THEN INFORMED ME THAT OH YES HE CAN SAY WHATEVER HE WANTS TO ANYONE HE WANTS THAT HE DIDNT GIVE [censored] WHAT ANYONE SAYS! NICE CUSTOMER SERVICE HUH?
This child is just that an entitled little boy with a badge that says he can do and say whatever wants... i have children older than him NOT TO MENTION THAT I was a customer of this location since you opened the doors ... ! this boy could not have been more than 22-25 yrs old... not that age matters but maturity should be a factor when putting people in that type of position I was a retail manager for over 18 years and I've had bad hires as well, but I certainly would never promote a person with kind of demeanor to represent me or my store! someone needs to rectify this huge mistake this was by far the most hamulating experience I've ever had or even seen ...ABSOLUTELY UNEXCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!

Dove soap ($4.99 and rung up at @6.00 and something and colgate toothpaste ($4.00 for 3 pack) and rang up at $5.10.
I have been shopping at family Dollar companies for many years and haven't seen such rudeness, and blatant disrespect by employees as I have at the one located at 650 Northfield Road, Bedford, Ohio 44146. For the last 3 times that I have shopped there they have put the wrong prices on the shelf items and when you get to the counter they say that it can't be over rode by the manager. They said they don't make the prices and try to overcharge you and pocket the difference. I know this because a manager has over rode it before. They have 3 black girls at the register and one in particular has started an argument saying they don't make the prices on 3 separate occasions. This has caused me to put all of my items back because I don't need that attitude when shopping. More customers have said they have had the same problem with this same black girl.
Desired outcome: I don't know the name of the girl but she is causing your store to lose business. I would suggest that she be reprimanded and if she doesn't change her ways to be dismissed.
exchanging a cosmetic product
I went to store#114 in Norlina Nc on Dec 14th, 2022, to make a exchange on some makeup items that i got a few days ago but i misplaced my receipt. the only thing i wanted to do was exchange it because i haven't even used it.. it was not a match for my skin complexion so i figured i would go back to try something different. Well i asked the cashier at the register could i exchange the item and he then said he needed to ask the store manager. She then proceeds to tell me i couldn't return because I didn't have a receipt and wouldn't let me exchange. I haven't seen a policy that wouldn't give you the opportunity to do. So, all I'm asking is to an exchange for another item. is this possible

Store Manager or employee is a racist
I was shopping this past week at the family dollar dollar tree store here in Sebawing Mi. When an employee (white female really short hair maybe manager) commented to the cashier as a black woman entered the store she was "going to head back and watch the cameras" because "that" woman was probably stealing.
I do not know the history or background but found it totally uncomfortable that this employee would make this comment out loud in front of customers. I wish I could have recorded or tweeted this because others would also find it totally inappropriate.
I shop at this store all the time and was the first time I saw this employee must be someone new.
Desired outcome: Employee should be removed if racism continues next time I see this shopper in town I plan on sharing what I overheard.
Visa card
I purchased a Vanilla card for Christmas in the amount of $50.00 at your store in Bishop, CA #12264. My mom is old and not computer smart so once I got back home on 12-11, I unpackaged the card to activate it for her. The card was no good so I called Vanilla. Apparently, someone had used it in Bishop on 12-11 for a debit of $50. I didn't understand this, nor do I know how anyone could have gotten the card information as it was still sealed and in my purse until 12-11. But for it to be used in Bishop on 12-11 could only mean a store clerk had used it. I bought it in Bishop and it was used in Bishop. I bought it on 11-30 and left Bishop the next day for Yucaipa the next day. So the only person with the information for the sealed card could have been either the clerk or supervisor authorizing the activation of it. Again store number 12264, supervisor number 7109374 on 11-30 at 16:29. When I contacted the store they were of no help, I filed a theft with Vanilla and will be filing with police if possible. If this is not resolved I will no longer shop at Family Dollar anywhere. Thank you for your assistance.

An employee was rude to me in front of everybody I had money on my card My card Works everywhere else But I was having trouble at the Gloster MS family dollar The card shut down The card reader I went and got cash because the lady told me to when I got back to pay for my stuff the card reader was still down And a lady that was checking out Ask Why is the registered down the employee then said it is her fault everybody looked at me I told her well I don't want the items I just want the candy I paid for with food stamps Before I went and got cash I got my candy and left But she was so rude and I I told her my card had money on ITIT was not my fault so Embarrassed I told her my card had money on IT was not my fault But she preceded to blame me In front of everyone I will not be shopping there anymore It was an African-American lady and normally she was nice to me But I have never been treated like that And will not be back.
Desired outcome: I want that lady fired she has no business working there If she can't be around other people and be civil If she treated me like that she would treat another customer like that

i quit a week ago from store #11981 reason being the SM Louis Heminger constantly accused me of stealing money, i even got demoted and signed papers.. his paperwork always looks ok but its bogus! why would he never go to cameras to verify everything i was accused of? "Because hes the boss and dosent have to" is what he told me? will video match paperwork? NO IT WONT! so im considering filing a Lawsuit but am unsure if thats the right course of action.. i go to family dollar to make deposits on my chime card often. on november 28,2022 i gave cashier $500 to deposit but realize the next day it was only $300 she put on my card. the manager said i gave only $300 on the video but it was $500 the camera isn'clear enough to see my five $100 bills. i need yuo to look into this. i dont have money to give away like this. in the video you will see me unfold 2 $100 bill and put it with the 3 straight $100 bills. the manager say it was 1 $100 bill but if your store camara was clear you will see it is 5 $100 bills the cashier laid on the counter and marked. also when i make deposits like this it is always $500.my receipt # [protected]

Customer physical abuse from family dollar employee
I went to 5410 West Chicago Avenue, Chicago Il Family Dollar at 5:56pm on December 1st 2022. The register clerk" Leeah" took my bookbag and threw it on the floor, behind the counter. I asked her to put my bag up on the shelf. She tossed it up on the shelf.
i decided then to leave and not shop in the store because of the way she was treating my personal property. i asked her to hand me my bag. Your employee held on to my bag, a tug of war commenced,. I cussed at her to let go of my bag. When she let go she threw it at me.
This store has a policy that all bags, backpacks, grocery bags, etc. must be placed behind the register counter before customers can go in and shop.
I'm really shocked that the Clerk was not told to stop by the Asst. Store Manager who witnessed the whole thing. The Asst, Store Manger "Tameeka" was on duty. All i wanted was my bookbag and your employee hit me with it,
I have filed a police report.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology. I would like Leeah and Tameeka suspended/terminated for customer abuse.

The person I spoke to said his name was David Green, not sure whether that is true or not. This happened on Wed November 30th around 2:30 and 3:00.
Here it is. When I pulled into a parking spot I noticed a couple of people waiting by the entrance. As I got out of my car a woman (another customer) told me they were counting drawers and they reopen the store in a few minutes. Since when does a store to count the drawer? Then another woman walked up to the door and started knocking I think she knew someone who worked there. She then opened the doors and walked in. However, the door was closed still closed to the customers waiting outside. After waiting 20 minutes I gently opened the door to ask how much longer this was going to take. At that point, a black gentleman says in a loud voice. "Don’t do that, don’t that it’s very disrespectful!” (some women just waked in but I am disrespectful for asking how much longer) I said I am just trying to determine whether I need to go and shop somewhere else. His reply was “I don’t come to your house and open the doors and ask questions” My reply to that was Since when do close the store to count a drawer his reply “I don’t have a god-dam manager here, then says to me good luck getting rung up in here today and proceeded to tell the other employees “DO NOT RING HER UP” in a word “Outrageous!” That is when I asked for his name, I told him I was calling Corp to report his behavior, and his reply “I don’t give a [censored] if you call Jesus!” I used to love Family Dollar, but this whole experience left a very bad impression on me. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior for someone who deals with the public, and I would hope that you deal with this accordingly. I was outraged when I left your store empty-handed. Like I said earlier, he said his name was David Green. Trust me when I say this guy certainly isn’t a valued employee, his behavior was disturbing and gross.

i want to resolve the problem not go round and circles. I was charge 6 dollars more on a product witch is dayligt led light bulbs witch when i went back was only 5 dollars and twenty five cents. i told her that she had over charged me she smiled because she knew tht she was wrong. so, to cover herself she had one of the male workers to go back and change the rice eventhough after she scanned it it was $5.25.
