An employee (Heidi) at this store refused me service, would not allow me in the store, even after the cops said I was allowed to be. Her boss, the manger and her are friends and have done this before with people. She embarrassed me in front of other customers and I had a child with me. I live in this village and use this store- I want something done about this.

What the hell R y'all Thinking?
Your store is needed here in San Ysidro, NM. We live 40 mins for town, where we can get food, clothing, ECT. So y'all are gonna leave us high and dry just like that.
Have y'all been here and seen the area? Low income, elderly, no opt for getting around. Yes they built a General Dollar next door... So what they don't have clothing or stock what we need there. On February 1, I filled out an application online on around the 10 the I was told to come in to get papers for the drug test I did that on the 11 th. I went to take the drug test on the twelfth. I took the papers back the next day. When I took the papers back I was told that Ray would contact me after the background to call Ray. Well I called that store 11597 Fredrick Rd everyday for a month. No Ray he was always busy. Then I go up there and Ray says he isn't the closer the one that gave me the papers and all the information was the one to close it out. Well when I see her she says my background passed but it's saying override. I then was told to come today Tuesday April the 9th and the asst manager isn't there after leaving me on hold and checking her schedule gives me a day she is off. What's going on. Am I being played with and why I did everything iwas supposed to do and I still have my email saying I was offered a job contingent on my passing the drug and background. This isn't right . Who do I speak to now . Is this discrimination.
I said the airport because that background check is severe .they don't do the 7year thing it has to be ten years no trouble and I literally had to wait 6 months.forbit to be ten years. That was 5 years ago so now it's 15 years

The store is a mess! It so much stock on all aisles and the backroom has no walking space with boxes and products stacked all the way up to the ceiling. It is very unorganized and dirty. The shelves are empty and it's very hard to find things. Clothes and blankets on the floors with very little walking room. It is a serious hazard and needs to be addressed asap. This evening I visited my local Family Dollar in Morrow, Ga and unfortunately witnessed a physical altercation between two other patrons in the cashier line. It was during rush hour so naturally lines were long and patience was short, which may have been relived if the Lead cashier/manager would have taken the initiative to open a second register. Instead she remained in the back of the store engaged in a personal conversation on her cell Phone. The cashier at the front was assisting a customer and requested assistance. The front cashier called for assistance at least 6 times before she reported to the front of the store. By this time a verbal altercation between two female customers erupted and turned physical. As the fight continued into the store parking lot both cashiers proceeded to watch the fight rather than considering their safety as well as that of the remaining customers by calling police. I am not calling for anyone's job nor am I blaming them for the altercation, however I do think it is expedient that a whole new revamp as well as professionalism training be given to this location's staff. The store is almost always unorganized/dirty with unprofessional staff. I will NOT be returning with my business and find it very unfortunate that I now have to shop outside of my own community. I believe your customers and our community deserve better. Many Thanks for your prompt attention to this matter.

I stopped by this store on my way home from work around March 20, 2019, and could not go through the entrance as there were 2 women standing right outside the door, smoking cigarettes. I had to go around and enter through the exit. While I was in the store, I noticed one of the women re-stocking the shelves so apparently she was an employee of the store.
While it is nice that the employees go outside to smoke, it doesn't do much good if they choose to smoke right in front of the door. They should move away from the door, so at least the customers can get inside the store without having to walk through clouds of smoke.

So I'm a regular I come to family dollar often and i just saw something so unfair. I saw an employee, her name tag said Tammy, ring up a multiple items about 15 or so. Then she grabbed a snickers bar off the counter and rung that and I think she adjusted everything so that she only paid for the snickers because I only saw her pay like a dollar for a bunch of items. This is not fair me as a regular has to pay full price for my items and this lady gets to pay so little for all her items. I've also heard rumors about her stealing and I heard a man yelling at her inside the store which is so unprofessional. Something needs to be done.
My mom has shopped at the Family Dollar Store in Tecumseh Oklahoma every since it opened. On March 8th 2019 the store manager (Tammy) was every rude to her. She told my mom she did not have time to MESS with her, I was not there or (Miss Tammy) would have had to deal with Me. My mom just wanted to ask a question, that’s all, and the b——, was so hateful to her. My mom will never go back to that store again, she will now shop at dollar general. The next time I am at my moms I am going to family dollar and ask to see Tammy. She needs to be (FIRED) ASAP.
