Fraud on my Game account
got a call yesterday from your GAME FRAUD department, telling me that there was a purchase done on my card. I said that I didn't buy anything. He asked me lots of security questions and told me he would put a message that he spoke to me regarding the purchase.
Today I received an SMS from Game that my account is overdue and my installment is much higher than usual.
I did not make any purchase on my card during October, the last I bought was in September.

I am extremely disappointed and angry with Game. It is a store that I have been supporting for many years. I bough an Epson Eco tank printer from Game online. In less than six months it just stopped printing. As I knew it had a guarantee I returned it to Game Festival Mall with the required proof of purchase. They said it would take around three weeks to be sorted. After such time I was contacted just to be informed that the guarantee/warranty meant nothing and that I had to pay R3100 for repairs on a machine that I paid R3300 for less than 6 months ago. The machine had no damage and stood on a desk for 6 months and then just stopped printing, and I must now pay to have a machine repaired that must have been faulty from the start. When I discussed this with them, they clearly stated that even though I made sure I bought a machine with a guarantee it meant nothing and that I must pay the money, or the broken machine will be returned to me as they do not have technicians available to sort the problem and therefore had to return it to the supplier. Why on earth do they even then sell it with a guarantee if it means nothing. I asked to speak to someone higher up when I was told they are in a meeting and will get back to me. It has been at least 4 weeks, and nobody has contacted me yet. I will never make use of this story again and I will never recommend them to anybody ever again. I now understand why I have heard about at least 2 of the stores closing recently. What do you expect when this is how customers are treated and I feel I was grossly misled.

botch stove that does not work that i bought from game

I bought a stove from your store and after I tried to install it .it does not work , I notified the store and a technician came through but he could not fix the problem. I returned the stove and was told the store is closing down but they will get me another stove since they don't have it at their store anymore but now I can not find the exact stove and I have my cupboard counter top cut and sized to fit that stove. The staff and the manager act like they want to assist but since from the 09\09\2022 until now I was not been assisted , its just promises that are not kept from staff to manager.

Carpet and Cereal Dispenser
I purchased and paid for a carpet and cereal dispenser on the Game online store website in July 2022. It is now mid September and I have not received my items nor have I received a refund despite numerous emails and messages sent to Game stores via their website. On the website the status of my order says "cancelled" but no further information is given.

On the 09/09/2022 we were in kathu game in the northern cape we were at the customer service for a faulty x box remote controll. We were handed from one person to another in counting six persons including the manager mr obusitse mokomele who left us just hanging without any answers he was disrespectful didn't even talk to us he just walk away and leave us with staff that also didn't know how to help us. After making our voice heard a kind lady staff member offer to take over and help us after being a hour and a half in shop. The manager is bad with people seems like he can't manage the shop. My complain is actually against the manager who can't even greed you he is bad for your company.

If there where 0 stars I would have chosen that options. I am very disappointed in the unexceptional service I have received from game. Today is my birthday and I feel like crying. I ordered a washing machine at game on the 21ste of August. The online order said that my order will be delivered on Friday the 26th of August. On the 27th of August I moved to a new address. I called them that day and the customer care answer person said that the parcel will be delivered on Monday the 29th of August. So on that Monday when I went to work I paid my housekeeper to wait for the delivery as I moved the weekend and there was no one at the old address to receive the parcel. On that Monday my parcel was not delivered. So I called again and got informed that the machine will be delivered on the Tuesday as Tuesday was the last day in there policy for deliveries. Tuesday I also organised for someone to wait for the machine. Yet Tuesday… No delivery. On Tuesday once again I called in. I was informed that due to Velddrif being an outline area my delivery will only be here on Friday at the latest. I then on Tuesday the 30th of August logged a complaint on the telephone. Yet up on to this date (7 September 2022) have had no reply. I also e-mailed a complaint on the 31st of August, also no reply. Friday the 2nd of August I also did not receive the washing machine. I called in again and heard that I must wait until 6 o’clock for the delivery to come and they will call me again on the Saturday morning to confirm if I received the delivery. No one called me on Saturday the 3rd of September, so I called Game Customer care again and wanted to talk to a manager but was told to call again on Monday. On Monday the 5th of September I called 4 times before I was able to talk to a manager. Every time I was promised that someone will call me back. A lady from leisure logistics called me that Monday saying that they (delivery company) never received my machine. I also on Monday talked to a supervisor at game. She said that she will come back to me and that my delivery will be made on the 6th of September at the latest the 7th of September. I wanted to know what compensation I will receive for the laundry bills and the petrol and extra expenses that would not have been necessary if I had received my delivery. No one came back to me. I called her again on the 7th of September and I got told that my delivery was lost in transit and I must say if I want a refund or if I am going to wait again for the delivery to be made. I also have not been informed about any compensation. I am very disappointed.

Currently at Game Store promenade mall.
So before going to Game I decided to pop by Pic n Pay first to purchase a few items. Made my way to Game and Security is refusing to let me enter because I have a Pic n Pay trolley with groceries.
Security lady told me to leave my trolley filled with groceries with her at the entrance and she will then keep an eye on it, "really"?
I don't have to shop at your store!
And honestly won't return.
My Pic n Pay trolley items are all bagged and the bags could have easily been taped close, as the practice of many stores!
I was not directed to a parcel counter of any sorts.

I bought a washing machine from Game online after unboxing it I noticed it was dented.I sent the email notifying them of the dent on the 6th of August. I have been waiting for the machine to be exchanged for almost 3 weeks now. Every time I call they tell me they are waiting for feedback from the warehouse. I regret why I bought from them coz all I have received is a headache. I called on Friday to request for the machine to be collected coz I am sick and tired of waiting. I place an order online on the 31 July 2022 for pick up at my neatest Game store. I could have chosen free door to door delivery but I work during the day so thought pick up would be better.
When I got the sms for pick up it was not in my hometown Bethlehem, but in Jhb 3 hours drive from me.
Finally got helped for door to door only to receive 4 out of 10 mattresses delivered to me.
Lodged a complaint, still waiting for feedback on this. At this stage I don't even want the rest of the mattresses, only a refund.
As my money was taken without delivering full package.

Good evening .I ASHMANTHA Naicker have purchased a laptop from Game Store Gateway on Sunday 14 August 2022 .I want to lay a complaint about the service I received from the sales representative Sphelele Dlamini who failed to advice me correctly about the laptop I wanted to purchase after me telling him it was the first time I was purchasing it and didn't know much about it .when my husband returned to Game Store on Wednesday 17 August 2022 to exchange the laptop as it did not meet my desires The laptop was still wrapped in it's packaging .he was not addressed properly and a technician was asked to help me run diagnostics on the laptop .The sales representative had a bad attitude and my husband asked to speak to the manager and when the manager arrived my husband told the manager what had occured and if he could please assist and change it for a laptop which we wanted and was willing to pay the difference the manager said he cannot change it and they will not except refunds and when my husband asked him about the 7 days exchange policy the manager said Game does not do it and he walked away

I bought a laptop at game for 8000 It was slow from the word go and it was not about software.
I requested a slip and it took 6 months to get it, by that time the keyboard was also not working. I handed it in for repairs 8t came back and the keyboard was fixed but it was still slow. By the time it came back the warranty period was over.
It is so slow it is impossible to work with. I have sent emails of complaint but still nothing.

HP Destjet 2320 Cartridges tricolor finished in 2 copies
I bought the printer yesterday with 2 new cartridges and added the new cartridges into the printer. Copied 2 pages and the color is finished on the cartridge box it states 100pages I got 2. Cartridges are expensive and now I don't even get the quality or quantity out of the cartridge. I think I'm gonna return the printer this is really bad.

On December 24th 2021 at 13:32, I bought a keyboard with a mouse as a combo for R249.00. In recent days, I connected it for usual use with no success, I then went to buy new batteries for the keyboard and mouse but the keyboard simply didn't work.
Because I really needed to work, my husband on the 8th of August, then bought us a new keyboard from this same Game store yet with cables. He then inquired if we could return the first keyboard with a mouse from the lady at the returns department, Mrs Sisanda Mamkele who informed my husband that we could return the keyboard and mouse even though we do not have a slip as long as we have a bank statement which proves the purchase.
On the 11th of August 2022, I took the keyboard and mouse to the Game store in mention. I went to the returns department and explained my problem to the same Mrs Mamkele who told me that she would need to order the slip from the head office which would take about one month to come back and that I should go upstairs where I bought the keyboard and ask that they have a look for me concerning what is wrong.
I did as directed and found a young man who took the keyboard and mouse and asked me if I had indeed inserted batteries inside the keyboard, I told him I had bought new ones but still didn't work. He asked a gentleman standing around and he came back with batteries. The young man said maybe it's because the coil inside has rusted. They connected everything to a laptop instore and they said it worked, I told them when I was using it didn't work. The older gentleman suggested we call the manager, I agreed and waited.
The manager appeared on the phone, did not greet me at all and started shaking his head, saying "No we don't do that". He spoke many things, conflicting himself, absolutely rude and cutting me off while trying to explain my problem.
He said it's Murphy's law while laughing with his colleague, I asked that they refrain from treating me like a fool. The manager then continued to laugh and said his remote was not working and he went to buy batteries from "The Pakistani" shop, maybe that's why my keyboard is not working at which point I informed them that I in fact bought my batteries from Shoprite and that they were behaving very unprofessionally. I then informed them that I did not come to the store to fight but to find a solution but their attitudes are absolutely unwelcome and completely unprofessional.
As the SABC, we always cover these kinds of stories about bad consumer treatment, now I see how these fellow consumers feel when being disrespected openly on the shop floor. I urge you to look at your employees and ensure swift and satisfactory treatment all the time.
I still need this issue to be resolved, I pray someone will come with a resolution.

TV Repair Period.
I took my Sinotec 58` Netflix tv in for repairs to Kenilworth Centre, Cape Town on the 23 July. Screen was Black, but still had sound. This was within the warranty period that expires in Dec 2025.
After numerous phone calls to the Customer Service, I eventually got through on the 11 August, 19 x days later, just to be informed that the Service Provider that is supposed to fix my tv, have not done as assessment on it yet...
How the hell is this even possible when they give a 21 x day repair period.

I purchased an item on the 27 July 2022 and the expected delivery date was set for the 5 August 2022, I still haven't received the item and it's sitting on dispatched. When I contacted customer service they said that they are unable to track the item as the item wasn't in stock. Customer service then tried to contact the dispatcher but when she called them nobody answered. Delivery take long and they only do something when you contact them and try to get it sorted out. I'll never order anything from Game again.
