My 2014 chevy Cruze engine was ruined by Sunrise Chevrolet service department due to incorrectly R&R of the timing belt. This was verified by Bellevue Chevrolet service department. This has cost me roughly $12,000 to replace the engine.
2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. The reference number is 9-[protected].
To whomever it may concern,
In reference to Ieshia's phone call this afternoon.
GM has no interest in customer service. You have lied to me about your involvement with the dealerships and I know you have never spoken to Bellevue Chevrolet. It is very apparent that the Chevrolet Executive Department is nothing more than a name, with no intention of solving any problems. When I have direct evidence that the dealership that replaced the timing belt on my vehicle did so in a manner that led to the engine failure and Chevrolet Executive Department refuses to even verify that information from another dealership, it leaves me with no choice but to spread the word to everyone that I come into contact with to NEVER BUY A GM VEHICLE.
Evidently GM being bailed out of bankruptcy by the federal government did nothing but ensure that quality vehicles would never manufactured by GM again. GM doesn't have to worry about selling vehicles because the federal government is there to bail them out anytime they need a handout so long as a liberal administration is doling out the welfare checks.
Thank goodness there are companies like Chrysler who can stand on their own two feet. We bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee diesel engine when the chevy cruze became unreliable, and it now has over 105,000 miles with never a check engine light ever coming on. I also own a 2001 dodge ram 2500 cummins diesel with over 400,000 miles with nothing more than routine maintenance. Quality products vs quantity wins every time.
Ieshia you have done absolutely nothing to resolve this situation.

2021 Chevy Tahoe vin 1GNSCNKT7MR320302
On June 10 we had to have our car towed to our Chevy dealership due to an alert of water in the tank and they car died and would not start. They kept the car till June 22 to fix the issue according to the invoice they replaced to filters and added diesel fuel as our car is a diesel.
On July 29 we drove to Miami from West Palm Beach to pick up a friend, we picked her up and at the airport we received an alert again for water in the tank. The alert also said to drive at a slow rate. So we drove a little ways but were afraid of the constant dying of the car and had it towed from Miami to our dealership in West Palm Beach. They have had the car since then. They are very good about keeping us up to date however, originally we were told they should have replaced the fuel filter but couldn't get one and now we are told that they are waiting on a sensor. It appears to me that perhaps there is an issue that should be looked into more closely. They now have had my car over a month and still won't get the part till next week. We paid on the first visit $1670 and were told it would be around the same amount. As far as water in the tank not sure this was the case. I would like someone to look into this situation. The car is currently at the Schumacher on Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach. Again the dealership and they people that have helped us are great, it just seems a long time for them to receive the parts and perhaps there is more going on than what we have been told. If additional info is needed please let me know. Thank you. Margaret Foster
Desired outcome: Not to be charged for this visit and to see if the sensors should be a recall since the time between the two incidents were a month appart
Service Department
I have visited the BOMIN CHEVROLET Dealer near South Miami Florida twice for a reoccurring issue; believed to be a transmission problem. However, the dealership's service department claims that the issue isn't from the transmission. First i was told that it was a gas valve that was causing the issue. During this visit, they stayed with my car for about 2 weeks. The issue started happening again in about a month; this was on February 2022. I took my car back at the end of July. This time they kept my car for a month & once again, said it wasnt the transmission so they ordered parts in attempt to fix the issue. After waiting a month, i was called in to pick up my vehicle & noticed the following:
1. they never rotated my tires. I had paid for the tire rotation back in February & complained to them during this visit because they never rotated my tires. When i picked up my car, i noticed that again, my tires were NOT rotated.
2. The issue continued. I noticed almost instantly.
This car is still under warranty. I am beginning to think they sold me a LEMON.
Desired outcome: LEMON LAW or FIX THE ISSUE
2021 chevrolet tahoe high country service issue
Good Afternoon,
We have a couple of issues with our 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country. Here is the information.
Sunday Aug 28th 2022 Tahoe had no power. It was jumped & started.
Monday Aug 29th, 2022 Started & drove it.
Tuesday Aug 30th, 2022 Started & drove it.
Wednesday Aug 31st, 2022 Started it & drove it to a different location on the driveway. Fifteen minutes later, it had no power again. Attempted to have jumped by Action Towing, but it would not start. Action Towing towed it to Jack's Chevrolet in Saco Maine.
Thursday Sep 1st, 2022 Jack's Chevrolet did not have time to troubleshoot it.
Friday Sep 2nd, 2022 Jack's Chevrolet determined it had a bad steering control module and ordered it. They issued us a loaner car because the module would not arrive until Tue Sep 6th, 2022.
Tuesday Sep 6th, 2022 Steve with Jack's service called. They replaced the module, but the car still has issues. It now needs passenger sensor module. I informed the Steve that we must depart for Florida on Thu Sep 22nd. He told me he would make some calls and attempt to get the module.
Wednesday Sep 7th, 2022 Steve couldn't locate a module anywhere in the country so he ordered it. I reminded him that we need to depart for FL on Thu Sep 22nd.
Please let me know what the options are if they can't get the car repaired before we have to leave Maine to get to Florida on Sep 22nd, 2022.
Thank you
Greetings,
These issues have been resolved thanks to the outstanding customer service representative, Steve at Jack Chevrolet in Saco, Maine.
Thank you!
Onstar
One of the reasons i bought my 2015 Sonic was because of the protection Onstar provides. With a newly licensed driver in the family, it has become extra important.
Now I hear that 2G is being "sunseted", with absolutely no plans to fix the problem, other than a phone app.
I use the features on the MyChevrolet app on a daily basis. We are looking to purchase another car for my son, and I have to wonder if future Onstar services will disappear with a shrug of Chevrolet shoulders and a "yeah, sorry about that" attitude.
Desired outcome: I have to believe a simple software update would fix the problem. This is important.
Temporary license plate being used by another vehicle. .
On 06/30/22 I purchased a lease on a new 2022 Chevy Colorado from Lester Glenn Chevrolet 3712 Route 9 South Freehold NJ 07728. Phone [protected]. They put on a temporary license and then replaced it on or about 07/20/22 with a NJ permanent plate. On 08/02, 08/08 and 08/09/22 I began to receive NJ EZ pass violations of a Telsa using that temporary plate. I love my truck and like everyone at Lester Glenn but this has ruined my whole experience. I have nothing to do with this other than being a Lester Glenn customer. EZ is charging me with three violations suspending my account and threatening to revoke my registration. I do not own or lease or drive a Tesla. It all stems from the temporary plate Lester Glenn put on my truck.
Desired outcome: I am just a innocent customer who did nothing wrong. Contact NJ EZ pass contact NJ Motor Vehicles and clear this matter up immediately.
2014 buick verano paint defect
Hi
First I tried to access the GM Canada department side for this form, however I was unable to locate it and hoped you could link this matter to them.
I have a 2014 Buick Verano which I purchased about 4 years ago August. It has been a fantastic car and have never had any issues. Keep up with maintenance by the book. Only hand wash, and very low mileage so next to no wear and tare. However, I noticed this past Spring after rinsing it I noticed a cloudy haze beginning on the car hood, with tiny hairline webbing lines. It's a huge mystery until I took it to a couple detailers and they told me that it is a paint defect and would be able to get it out. So I made an appointment at my local GM dealer where I bought it for them to assess it. And of course without a thorough assessment within about 5 minutes the rep claimed that it was repainted. He also jumped to an immediate conclusion it may had been cash under the table so wouldn't track it. However it has clean history and clearly it was not repainted. So I had taken it to 3 paint correction and locations to assess, and they had all told me it was never repainted and was OEM. Now I clearly understand these paint issues are never covered or under warrenty unless a buyer purchased some sort of paint protection plan which is not the issue. The defect at this time is not the issue. My concern and issue is when a GM rep possibly is trying to make me look like a fool and not treat the customer more honesty and concern. I was certainly not expecting miracles, but atleast to meet me half way, assess the issue and if it' is a oem paint defect, to atleast, again, meet half way and help me fix it. I have been driving GMs from the beginning and would rather not begin to have a bad relation now. If you can not help me with this matter could this please be forwarded to the Canada end?
Thank you
Sincerely
Albino j Vozelj

2016 GMC 1500 Sierra SLT 4WD
I purchased my truck new the third GMC truck in the past 10 years. I had always leased and the current one I decided to purchase. Big mistake. As I have worried with purchasing vehicles, issues arise after the warranty ends. I had taken my truck in three years ago complaining that there was something wrong with the transmission.. it was shifting hard and clunky and would jump after coming to a stop. When I took it in for service while still under warranty they told me nothing was wrong, that was just how it was shifting.. I told them there has to be something wrong, I’ve had two other trucks and neither of them did that. I even said I am not going to be happy if the transmission goes after it’s out of warranty. The service guy said he would document it so if a problem arises it’s on record that I had complained about an issue. No, I didn’t keep taking it in for the same issue because what was the point, I was told there was no issues. Now, my truck is out of warranty and the transmission is completely shot, has to be replaced. And I find that this has been a common problem with this particular year and model of GM vehicle. I contacted GM about my situation and told them I was complaining while it was still under warranty and now that it’s not, the transmission goes which seems to be the common scenario. I have only pulled a very small uhaul trailer one time. I don’t use my truck like a “truck”. There’s absolutely no reason why it should need a new transmission this early unless there was a manufacturing defect or problem and I do believe based off the numerous complaints and claims that to be the case. I have been a loyal GMC customer since I was 17 years old over three decades and after this GM has lost a customer because they are only willing to offer $690 assistance for the $7500 transmission my truck now needs. This should be a recall and fixed.
Desired outcome: Recall on the transmissions and full replacement covered.
Unauthorized repairs.
7/09/2022 my son dropped off his 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 for a check engine light that would illuminate and then turn off after awhile. Maher Chevrolet in St. Petersburg initially had the car for two weeks and after that period called the night before to say car would be ready for pickup. The day of pickup I was told they ended up taking out the engine and proceeded to to do $6,500 worth of repairs and said it was all covered under warranty. Two weeks later on 7/23/2022 the truck was picked up and after five minutes driving, had white smoke coming out of tail pipe and cylinder misfire. He turned around and took it back to the dealer where they kept it until 8/8/2022. Maher dropped off the vehicle on 8/11/2022 since my son had already departed to college without his truck. We flew him back from school on 8/20/2022 so that he could drive the truck 9-1/2 hour back to school and only 15 minutes into the drive, it started all over again, with white smoke, cylinder misfire, blinking engine lights, etc. I paid $1,411.99 as the warranty deductible, and still haven’t resolved these new issues that I believe were caused from their over zealous repairs to boast the bill up. I am convinced these issues were caused by their incompetency since we never had these issues before with the truck.
Desired outcome: Refund my credit card $1,411.99 so I can take it auto a reputable dealership and get these issues they caused resolved.
Tire and rim for 2017 Chevy Impala LT
We had a flat tire on an interstate and replaced tire with bubble June 16th 2022. We recently purchased a full size spare and rim to replace the bubble spare since we do a considerable amount of travel on turnpikes and interstate highways. How could Chevrolet not have ample space in the tire compartment of the trunk to accommodate a full size tire and rim? My trunk space that I boasted about is almost entirely gone.
Any suggestions as to where I put my luggage?
Desired outcome: I would like to an apology and a suggestion as to how I travel with an 18" tire and luggage
Service on my vehicle/engine
I have had my 2016 Chevrolet Trax in to my local Chevrolet dealer twice in the past year. I will need to take it a third time for an issue with the Turbocharger on the engine. My vehicle has about 61k miles. Each time my vehicle is in the shop for weeks at a time and I am left without transportation. It has been suggested that I purchase a new engine. A vehicle with only 61k miles on it should in no way be in need of a new engine. The VIN number to my vehicle is 3GNCJNSB4GL244941 . I would like to get this issue resolved so that I can be provided with a safe vehicle. Thank you!
Desired outcome: Engine replacement? I would just like to have a safe vehicle.
Buick Dealership in Tennessee
I saw the advertised lease special on the Buick website for the 2022 Encore. It was advertised at $199 for 24 months for 10K miles per year. I contacted two dealerships and they qualified me and gave me the residual for the low mileage lease and 2022 Encore Preferred vehicle I wanted . But, when it came time to sign they said they could not lease me unless I paid $349 per month. They told me that they cannot make enough money on the lease at $199 per month for 24 months. I am very upset that this is advertised and not honored. I am in Tennessee and I want the name of a delearship that will honor the lease as advertised. Jane Slowinski cell/txt [protected] email: [protected]@yahoo.com
Desired outcome: I want the name of a dealership that will honor the advertised lease of $199 per month for 24 months with 10K miles per year.
2022 1500 Chevrolet Silverado custom crew cab
We purchased this vehicle in July of 2022. After bringing it home, my wife had driven it to town and noticed a banging noise in the rear of the truck. She called me and told me about, I then told her to get an appointment with the local dealer. The dealer was Doug Meyer in Shenandoah, Ia. and was told they would look at it. They said that they were not authorized too fix it after looking at it, but had not driven it. At this time there was approximately 160 miles on the truck. They said it was normal and if it was fixed would come back louder. I then called the dealer we bought it from to set up a service call. I showed that even with the truck shut off it would make the same loud bang, by shaking the truck on the passenger side bed. They called and said there tech had driven it, and that he had a truck just like ours and that is a normal sound. I do not believe a $48,000.00 truck should have that annoying banging when driving it. I am discouraged having paid for this truck and being told there is no fix. I wish you had to listen to this, have waited a long time to get a new Chevy Silverado, and again for the price expect more quality. I believe that Chevrolet should hold themselves and dealers to make sure a new truck is working correctly. And for any service manager to say this a normal sound for AGAIN a $48,000.00 vehicle is really foolish. I would appreciate a response as to why this is considered acceptable for you rproduct to do this.
Thank You,
David and Jennifer Heuer

2022 GMC Sierra Denali 1500 order: BJPXK7 GMC Case No. case 9-[protected]
I ordered this truck back on March 7th 2022 and according to documents I have received, the truck was produced the week of June 13th 2022 but has not shipped. I have been getting nothing but conflicting information since. The advisor in the virtual chat room tells me the vehicle is waiting on logistics.
I now get the same canned message week after week. I come from a family of GM cars and trucks. My dad purchased 9 GM automobiles throughout my life while he was living. I realize that the chip shortage was part of the delay and they would retrofit most of the feature later. I need to know when I will receive my truck.
I have lost faith in GMC customer service and I need someone to assure me that I am not wasting my time. My patience is running thin and the Toyotas I see on the road are looking better and better to me. I want an American GM truck and I need your help getting the one that I ordered. Please pass my information on to someone who cares and can help me. Thanks.

Desired outcome: I need to know if and when I am getting my order.
I ordered mine LAST OCTOBER. Same thing. Canned answers. Nobody has access to information. No explanations. Now being told waiting on rail cars …. Complete joke.
I also ordered a Tahoe in March. It was built the week of May 9th. Was told it was in transit June 1st. However, it is still sitting in Texas waiting for parts. I have been getting the same non-answers as you are. We have always bought GM vehicles, but I am seriously reconsidering that. This is extremely poor customer service! I can track a teeny tiny package all over the world and know when it will arrive. But you can't track a $70,000.00 vehicle? Not sure how much longer I will be waiting. Pretty angry about it.
Tiffany Plaisted
Yes, its amazing that a company worth billions (?) of dollars tells customers, "it's out of our hands at this point" "we're doing everything we can" . Really? 10 months and still they can't tell me when my pickup will be delivered? Who's running the place? How many millions per year is Mary Barra being paid and she can't fix her back order problem? Wow. Not sure I willl ever buy another GM product after this...and like the person above, it's always been Chevy pickups for our personal AND business use--we currently own 5.
2018 Model Chevrolet Tahoe engine issue
I have a 2018 model Chevrolet Tahoe with 110K miles. I took it to Rick Hendrix Chevrolet in Buford, GA. to diagnose a problem with the engine light coming on and running rough. After getting it in their shop today, they told me that the #6 cylinder has no compression. Getting into why, they found that it has a lifter problem. They said the Cam Shaft looks great and it should, I have this car serviced to their specs every 5,000 miles and at their dealership. The price quoted to me is $5,925.00 to replace both sides and this does include replacing a leaking water pump. This should not be happening to a car with so few miles and maintained to Chevrolet standards. I am very upset and disappointed with my Chevrolet! I've owned many Chevrolet's in my 57 years of driving and this is nuts to me. I have a 2012 Ford Expedition with over 250K miles and have never done anything to the engine except a service every 5,000 miles like I have done with this Tahoe. Please consider my complaint and know that me and my whole family have always been a big owners of Chevrolet products.
Desired outcome: This shouldn't happen to any car with only 110K miles in todays vehicles. Especially with complete service records and with the dealership that I have bought it from and have it serviced by since day One! I just want fair treatment.
New truck
I supposedly bought a 2022 GMC Denali from Springfield GMC on February 28th of 2022. Said truck was supposedly in Flint, Michigan being finished and going to be delivered in a few weeks. After several weeks I was informed that said truck had to be destroyed for some reason. The dealership tried to stick it to me and end the deal but forgot they took my truck in trade which I was driving with there dealer plate. So they ordered me a new Denali that would take several months to get. Fast forward to a few weeks ago I was told that the sticker price had dropped $35 and what a deal I got. Until my payment book came in the mail and my Payment was over $100 more per month. The dealership said it was because interest rates had gone up. In other words I got screwed because of Gm and Springfield GMC of vermont. I’ve got a big mouth and will make sure they both get bad mouthed for life. And I’ve owned 7 GMC trucks this will be the last one. And by the way the truck wasn’t even delivered complete. Passenger side door handles cover on the inside never came with it.
Desired outcome: What I want is to have same interest rate because it isn’t my fault you people screwed up.
Credit Card Re-imbursement
Good evening, my name is Marc Trice and I'm a Retired Honorable Disabled Veteran. I bought a 2021 Chevy Silverado from Dan Vaden Dealership here in Savannah, Ga. in January of 2021. I thought this vehicle would be my Retirement Vehicle. Boy was I wrong. aside from the normal maintenance on the vehicle I had to have my vehicle serviced for (Valve Lifter Replacement - Right Side) in November of 2021. Then again on June 22, (Valve Lifter Replacement -Right Side) and also (Cam Replacement) because the second time the damage was so severe that it bent the (Cam Shaft).
Now the 1st time that the engine damage occurred, Dan Vaden didn't have a "Loner Car" available for me to use because of the " COVID 19 Pandemic" I had to get a Rental Car out of my own pocket to get around. To this date I still haven't been re-imbursed for that expense. I had the Rental for 10 days.
2nd occurrence of the Valve Lifter and Cam Shaft Damage, I went back to Dan Vaden of Pooler to turn my truck in for repairs and again they didn't have a loner car for me. Now once again i had to get a rental car out of my own pocket once again so I could get around. This time I had a rental a total of 18 days.
All I'm trying to get is Re-imbursed for my time and trouble. This is unexpectable for me to continue to pay for the fees associated with getting my Truck repaired when the Dealership didn't have suitable Loner Transportation for its customers when they turn in a Practically new vehicle for major repairs such as this. I've turned in the Rental Receipts for both expenses to Dan Vaden but to no avail nothing. So here I am, trying to get this rectified before I go public. I hope that we can come to some kind of resolution to this problem.
My contact information is Marc Trice, email address: marc.[protected]@yahoo.com or Number: [protected]. Thank you and have a Blessed Day.
Desired outcome: I would like to be "Re-imbursed" for Rental Car Expenses from "Enterprise Rental" in the amount of $1219.14.
I feel your pain. I was told by Reedman Toll Chevy service manager of Langhorne, PA that they are just putting in the same bad design lifters back in and they may or not fail again? Kind of a crummy response. Hope it all works out for you.
Servicing my vehicle
I bought a truck on Saturday in Montgomery Al but leave in Birmingham Alabama. On my way home I noticed there was a noise coming from the rear wheels. I called back to Classic GMC in Montgomery Al to tell them about it. They told me I could take it to any GMC service center to have them look at it it is covered under my CPO. I took to Royal GMC in Vestavia they didn't help they stated who will pay. So I took the Hendricks in Hoover they are looking into the cause but still there in a $375 bill. Now Classic GMC saying I should have brought it back to them.
Desired outcome: Have my vehicle fixed with having to pay $375 for something I brought to there attention the day of purchase
