I received a gift of the above on December 4th, 2024 which said it was overnighted. The pears were beginning to rot and had black spots all over them. After spending much time trying to get this resolved an agent finally answered on Jan 2, 2025, and said they would replace my order. Sure enough, they came today on Jan 6, 2025, and the pears were in worse condition than the first order. The pears were turning black in spots, shriveled and soft. Only the pear that was wrapped was edible but it was not like the rosy Royal Riviera pears depicted in your catalog. I can't spend any more time trying to resolve this. My cousin sent this generous gift and I don't have the heart to let him know he spent a lot of money on literal garbage so I went to great lengths not to hurt his feelings.
I think your warehouse has been sending out unchecked boxes of spoiled fruit all this season. I never had this problem before. I don't know what is happening to Harry and David but I will no longer purchase from you. Have you read your reviews? It's quite an eye-opener and beyond unacceptable!

I sent a gift of 3 meals to my brother-in-law which arrived warm. No ice in the box. After an hour of waiting for customer service, they said they refunded my money. I have yet to see the refund.
Next, I received pears as a Christmas gift, and they arrived on Christmas Eve. I basically got a box of rotten fruit. I called customer service, put my phone on speaker, and waited over an hour for a response from a representative. Finally, they agreed to replace the order, which came on Jan 6th. I got more rotten pears. The box smelled musty, and the fruit was soft with black spots and shriveled. I don't want to go through this again and I don't want any more garbage sent to me.
Forget about Harry and David; don’t waste your time with them. You should let your cousin know quietly that their money has been wasted. Tell everyone publicly about the problem so others can also be warned about it. Get over it and buy from a better supplier next time.
