Holiday Inn Hotel stay

I stayed at your hotel this weekend in Holland Mi. It was my birthday weekend brought my whole family there. I was getting in the shower so I could get ready to go to dinner. The tub was so slippery I fell getting in. Cut my eye open hit my head, knee, back and face. Ended up in the urgent care for the rest of the night. Ended up with stitches a black eye and bruised all over. I missed dinner and was in bed for the night. I was told corporate would be contacting me. Have not heard from them.

Desired outcome: I would like to be compensated for both rooms. We stayed in room 330 & 130. I would also like to be compsensated for the urgent care copay. The cost of rooms were 957.49.

Holiday Inn Holiday Inn, London Heathrow

My name is Loretto Sitton. I stayed one night at London Heathrow and checked out the morning of 25 June. I left my ipad in my room (435) and have been trying to get it back every since I realized I left it. I get put on hold and ignored when I call. When I finally do get to a human being, I have asked how to get my ipad back and was told by one helpful person to send them a box and they'd mail it to me. Well, I went to 2 UPS offices here and one said they'd charge me $257 and the other $357. For an empty box. I cannot afford that. I was tracking the ipad until the 7th, which is when the battery finally died, I guess. It has stayed in the immediate vicinity of the Bath Rd Holiday Inn.

I called what I assumed was Holiday Inn "Corporate Headquarters" and was told I'd hear back from the hotel within 48 hours. I have not heard back. And that has been a week. I called the hotel this morning and when I finally got to a human at the desk, I was again put on hold and eventually cut off. I called back and asked for a manager. No manager answered.

Desired outcome: I'd like to have my ipad back.

Holiday Inn Sexual harassment

Employee named Chris came to my room after 9pm asing if I wanted housekeeping I said "No" he then asked me if he could ask me a

question, the question was typed on his cell phone which he held up to my face.

I couldnt read it,I closed the door and went for my glasses, i came back he was still there.

the text said the following

"May i pay you to see you for an hour in your room, I wont tell anyone"

Desired outcome: This is SEXUAL HARASSMENT, I spoke to Harsh Patel who blew me off and told me that I had complained I needed housekeeping, then he said I had not extended my stay or checked in. What?

Holiday Inn Reservation

Hi I had made a reservation for the holiday inn express for a room June 16th -June 18th. When I booked on the website it advertised an outdoor pool. When I was looking for a hotel to book I looked specifically for an outdoor pool. when we arrived and saw that the pool was closed I asked to cancel my reservation and she told me I could not because it was not refundable. I told her that the wwebsite should have said pool not available that I felt that they falsely advertised but she said she could not refund me. we never stayed there because the pool was not open

Holiday Inn My ihg account was hacked

My ihg account was hacked a while ago and I didn't find out until i was going to use my points for my wife and children to go to the beach. My account was locked, and I have been dealing with customer service for over 2 weeks now and they still can't resolve it. It is so unprofessional that they have taken my points and have no idea where they went and cannot fix this issue. I will no longer be using there brand and will definitely let others know about this as well.

Holiday Inn Parking fine Holiday Inn Stevenage.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Stevenage on the 20.05.23 checking out on the 21.05.23. Confirmation # [protected].

On arrival at reception, I paid for my room (£84.39) & parking (total amount £96.39) and registered my car number.

Today, I have received a parking charge notice from Parkingeye who monitor parking at the Holiday Inn giving my arrival time as 15.23. As this is obviously an error on your part, I'd be grateful if you would organise to have this charge waived and send me confirmation of this to [protected]@msn.com

I got a call from a representative of Holiday Inn Vacation Club January 11, 2023 promoting Holiday Inn Vacation Club vacation package for 5 days and 4 nights for $279.00. The agent made it seem that I was staying at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake Resort as he stated that I would have to go to a 2 hour presentation so I thought it was an attractive deal so I booked. I later found out that was not to be true. After I spoke to their presentative I received the below email confirmation. I have also included the information that my credit card was charged. You have ruined my family Summer vacation plans, due to your company's lack of honest business practices and lack of good customer service and transparent communication. After receiving the below email confirmation book travel arrangements and team park trips purchases, that need to be refunded (reimbursed to me) your company's supposed cancellation of my vacation package that I paid for due to there not adequate hotels available for the 4th of July Weekend.  I am a construction project manager and I had to fight to get June 30, 2023 - July 5, 2023 off as it is one of our busiest construction season!  My wife is also an assistant manager and she also had to fight to get June 30, 2023 - July 5,2023 off as well as in her company it is a HUGE holiday weekend sale for their company. Furthermore, I also have been letting my family and friends know that I would be going on vacation to your Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake Resort and that I would let them know how awesome it was! I won’t be able to tell them that as of now!

I really would want to take my vacation with my family for the 4th of July weekend as my wife and I had to fight to get to the days off and since we have already made travel arrangements.  After not receiving any correspondence I wrote this below letter to your corporate office in which to date 5-25-23 no one has had the courtesy or decency to even pick up the phone call, text, me at [protected], or even send an email to me @ [protected]@gmail.com to inform me or let me know anything about this vacation package.  On Saturday  May 20, 2023 I sent a letter via priority mail with Tracking Number: 9510811633073140851947  to your corporate office  at  9271 S. Fast forward to May15, 2023 when I talk to Amber a Holiday Inn Vacation Club representative to actually book my vacation and is when I surprisingly found out that I was booked to stay at the Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista, located at 8686Palm Parkway, Orlando, FL 32836 and that I would have to drive to the Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake Resort located at 4201 E Orange Lake Blvd. Kissimmee, FL 34747 instead of being booked there from the promoted vacation package.  I confusingly asked Amber that I thought that I was already booked for the Orange Lake Resort.  She said no, that was for the Crowne Plaza Orlando. So I asked if I could add an extra day and be upgraded  to the Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake Resort wanted to upgrade from the Crowne Plaza Orlando Hotel. She stated that she would have to check available, and it would be an additional fee.  There were rooms and the dates were available, so she then charged me an additional $606.55.  She then stated that she had upgraded me and had added me to stay at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake Resort instead of the Crowne Plaza Orlando Hotel.  She said that I would receive an email confirmation to my [protected]@gmail.com email address. So then I called yesterday and spoke to Tessa [protected]-1966ext. 8731 for over an hour trying to figure why she could not pull up my vacation package by my under my Getaway #: SNE0001689640, by my phone number [protected], or by my email [protected]@gmail.com. Iam distressed that a World Class Organization such as Holiday Inn Vacation Club would not resolve such a serious issue. I am most highly upset that a resolution has not been presented tome.  I am a construction project manager and I had to fight to get June 30, 2023 - July 5, 2023 off as it is one of our busiest construction season!  My wife is also an assistant manager and she also had to fight to get June 30, 2023 - July 5,2023 off as well as in her company it is a HUGE holiday weekend sale for their company. I am writing to your Corporate Headquarters to have this issue corrected and be compensated for all of his trouble that I have experienced.  I am respectfully requesting that I not only rebooked for the Holiday Inn Vacation Club Orange Lake Resort for June 30, 2023 - July 5, 2023, but be complimentary upgrade at no additional charge to be put in an Ambassador or Presidential unit at the resort.  After the 2 hour presentation I would like to have my $606.55 refunded to me in cash Including Gifts, as you won’t refund me for my travel arrangement already booked. Holiday Inn Regional manager

I only worked for a few months at this location. The environment quickly was shown to me it was toxic and hostile when the regional manager was around. She’s there often and loves to cuss out her employees, smack her hands against things, and a lot of employees are terrified of her. After 3 months I finally spoke out. I’ve never been written up, nor fired from a job, but this lady can’t take being told she’s doing something wrong. So instead of fixing the problem and changing, she fired me. She’s been heard saying racial slurs and still they continue to give her a job. Disheartening someone like that can run a business talking to not just employees but guest like they’re nothing to them.

Desired outcome: Reverse my termination and file it as a 2 week notice.

Holiday Inn Bill misunderstanding

Greetings,

Kindly be informed on 11-05-2023 we was in holiday in tuzla bay turkey. We was there for 5 nights for our friends wedding. On the 11th night we was at nemo restaurant and we order drinks and food. The bills was coming every 1 hour and one of us is paying. First bill we pay almost 4000 turkish around 10 to 11 Second bill we pay almost 2700 turkish around 1 to 23rd bill we pay also the third bill and we finish from the bar. Suddenly in the check out the reception was telling that we have the amount on our room and we need to pay! We ask about the bills they bring us bills that we already pay for it and we show the message in our phones for the credit card payment. And then we pay because we felt shy that all of us with our women and friends arguing for something its our right but the hotel say no! And even they didn’t have a signed paper from our side that it tells the receipt under the room! Kindly advice regarding the issue. And we are pretty sure regard your customer service and we trust very well holiday in, thats why we choose you from the beginning.

Holiday Inn Hotel restroom

I sent the previous email below after my families stay at the Cedar Hill location and have not received any correspondence from the hotel. My family and I travel often with our children being active in sports and have made Holiday Inn our hotel of choice. As a Holiday Inn member ([protected]) this reflects very poor customer service. My fear is that someone can really be injured if the situation is not looked into.

My family and I stayed at the hotel (March 24-26) due to my child’s basketball team having a tournament. Upon arrival, I noticed the hotel was doing renovations. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, there was a scarce of towels and you had to request a new set by 9PM. Breakfast was really good every day. But there was an incident that occurred. When my youngest was bathing the whole tub faucet detached from the wall and feel on her left foot. She was in tears, and we had to ice before bed and the next morning for the swelling to go down. I made the front desk aware at check out. I would have for this to happen to another quest. The faucet also appears to have been glued on before. Lastly, the hot tub was not working in the pool area because of turn switch issues.

Holiday Inn Hotel, whole experience was unprofessional.

Hotel reservations was for a block of 17 rooms from April 13th to 16th and 1 room from 12th to 16th.

The hotel was not ready for customers stays.

I tried to check in at 8:30 pm on April 12th and the desk person could not assist me, he asked me to see the manager in the morning and gave me a room and pay her in the morning. I met with Pam, Manager of hotel and she got me checked in. Here is where all the problems started. I had 4 families try and check in at 3:00 pm on the 13th, and the desk person said they were all new rooms that were just remodeled and they weren't ready yet. She told them there were no other rooms and they would have to wait. Now I had 7 families waiting to get into rooms at 3:30 pm. She finale started putting families in rooms around 4:00 pm and then asked 2 families to put there luggage in the room but they could not check in yet. When those 2 families came back at 9:00 pm to check in the desk person said they didn't have rooms listed and would have to stay somewhere else. They had to show him that there belongings are already in the room and that they need keys to get in. He told them to check at front desk in morning to pay. Now the major problems. 14 new rooms all with no furniture, no waste baskets, 1 towel and 1 wash cloth in each room. 1 room the entrance door handle fell off and she had no one to fix it and had no other rooms available. One of our families member asked for tools and fixed it. 3 rooms had foot prints on the beds from workers who were working in the rooms, they had to wait for 2 hours for them to change the sheets. 1 room had a hole in the wall for an air conditioner that was sitting in hall, they came up and put it in, and that night it did not work. I spoke to Pam the next morning and she said make me a list of all the concerns and she will deal with it as soon as possible. The air conditioner was not replaced till late afternoon. For 14 rooms she took chairs out of the lobby and business rooms, she found waste baskets and said she will work on getting compensation for my group. We had no maid service any day, I went down to ask about garbage building up, and she gave me garbage bag for everyone to change out the garbage and put it in the hall. I asked about towels changing out and she said tell them to come down to front desk and get them, and leave the used ones on the floor in bathroom. The TV's in all rooms would lose signal every 2 minutes for about 3 minutes, wasn't even worth turning them on. We had three tubs that wouldn't drain, the construction workers left tape in the drains so debris wouldn't go in drain and forgot to remove it. 2 rooms we had to attach the hot water lines to the sink to get hot water. On Sunday when I went to check out I asked the desk person for my invoice and if my rewards were add for my points, he said he couldn't give me a receipt for all my rooms and didn't know if my points were added. I found out that 5 rooms were charged to my room and they where suppose to be added to the families own credit cards. I tried for 1 week to change the cards but they said it would be better if they paid me the money themselves. Pam said give her a week to see what she could do for me in compensation for all the problems. I have heard nothing and decide to reply with my concerns over this very bad ordeal.

Holiday Inn Not paid for hours worked

I worked 32 hours in the breakfast cafe at the holiday inn express dates are March 16th -19th 2023 due to conflict with mgr and work standard of severing expired food and repetitive reheat of breakfast items daily so I resigned my position. I asked several times about filling out the 19 document and no one was able to produce one. I communicated with the manager daily about hours worked. He said that would get me that document however I never received one. I asked him to mail my final check to my address on the 19th I communicated with the manager via text April 6th he wants me to go to the hotel location to fill out paperwork? Then he will cut me a-check. I have sent him my payroll documents twice through email. I am currently out of state traveling I cannot just drop by. I sent the requested documents again on April 7 stating that I will file a complaint email because I have not received pay for hours worked. When I resigned I told him that I cannot and will not serve expired breads or foods that have been reheated repetitively. He was angry that I spoiled out 1 loaf of bread that had been expired for a month he and others that worked there insisted that it was ok to serve. This guy has the kitchen staff and others fearful of his verbal outbursts he is a bit of a hot head. I had rather file a legal claim as to deal with his narcissistic personality. He has had 3 weeks to cut me a check. I have had to contact him or else there would be no communication at all in regards to the pay wages he owes me. The Managers name is Gothim he manages the Holiday Inn Express in Ringgold and Hilton Garden Inn Dalton Ga he also performs the hr duties and supervision to all staff at each location. He also expected me to purchase work tools to do my job then he would pay me back. Huge red flag! This hotel cafe has major health code violations.

Holiday Inn Elevator malfunction

On Saturday April 1st around 9:55 p.m. EST my sister and I were visiting a friend who was staying at the Holiday Inn location in Toronto, Ontario. On our way up to the room, the elevator stopped moving on the way to the third floor. We called the front desk who responded to us, we had a full conversation responded to questions like "which elevator we were on" so we knew that the attendant had heard us. The phone cut off and we assumed it was a technical issue. We called again around 30 minutes later and another attendant had said it was the first time we called, meaning the first person we talked to didn't inform the others. In the end, we were stuck in the elevator for 2 hours! While in the elevator we were given minimal information on what was happening to get us out. The only useful information we received was from family members who called the hotel since we couldn't get through. We could hear people on the other end fighting with the attendant on the other end of the door telling the staff to call the police and the staff member was telling them to go away. It was a total of five people in the elevator. It was a hot, confined space and overall a stressful experience. I have stayed at different Holiday Inn locations but never experienced this before, it was very disappointing to say the least. Even after we had gotten out, it seemed the staff just wanted my friends and I to leave. It was not a nice feeling knowing that even though we were visiting a friend and not staying at the hotel ourselves that they weren't concerned about our well being and just because we weren't physically staying at the hotel. Again the whole experience was scary, stressful and disappointing.

Desired outcome: I would like an all expenses paid stay for myself and my sister (who was with me during the incident) at another holiday inn location as reimbursement for our experience.
