kitchenaid refrigerator
I went to order a 3300.00 (sale price)unit, and was told it wasn't available. I asked if they would sell the floor model which has been on the floor running for 1 1/2 years and with two scratches/dents at the bottom...yes they would, but at the new model price of 3300.00 and I would have to pick it up! What's up with this ? Donald E. Hale.p.s. I'm in the process of a TOTAL kitchen remodel, is this what I can expect from you ?
lg washer delivery
You;
[protected]@homedepot.com
We purchased an LG stackable washer dryer at the Home Depot in Painted Post on Saturday November 4, 2017, to be delivered on Wednesday November 8, 2017. The washer powered up but would not run from that day. LG sent a repairman who said it needed an new display panel, as I had never used the machine I wanted a new one which has not arrived. I have spoken to several people in the Painted Post store. Tuesday November 13, 2017, I spoke with Brian, (a store manager he assured me) and he told me he spoke with LG and a new machine would arrive today, Friday, November 17, 2017. It appears that was not true. This morning I spoke with Heather in appliances who assures me the new washer will be delivered on Wednesday November 22, 2017. And she will refund $100 of the purchase price for our trouble.
I am 70 years old, my husband 73, this situation is so frustrating, we are angry, tired of going to the laundromat and just confused that a simple transaction could go so wrong.
It does not matter whose fault this is, Home Depot or LG, please just be aware that we feel strongly this is not good customer service and we are very discouraged.
PS. On Wednesday November 22, 2017, received a call from Home Depot, not only was the new washer not going to be delivered. but it appears that it was delivered somewhere else and they were attempting to find it, someone will get back to me. The comedy of errors continue.
I appreciated reading your complaint. I couldn't say I'd feel any differently. I would do things differently, however. The solution is simply canceling the order and getting a full refund. Hopefully you were wise enough to put the transaction on a credit card. If needs be, dispute the transaction. Then go somewhere else.
Problem solved.
not honoring a service connected id discount
I came in to order at the appliance electric stainless steel and a matching
GE overhead stainless steel microwave and power cord.
The girl came to a total, I showed her MY Military Service Connected ID,
and asked for My veteran discount, she called a guy over I believe his name
was Mark and he said sorry, they dont honor the Veteran discount on
appliances, i told him just this week i spent over $1500.00 buying countertops and Hampton Bay Honey oak Cabinets, stainless steel sink, faucets, lighting and got My veteran discount now I dont, I am service connected disabled
which I showed to them, they said sorry. i got angry and asked why, they said it
is not a mandatory thing they have to do or a CA law.
I said ok, took the breakdown of the items of which it would cost me without taxes or if I would have gotten a discount )veteran service connected)
I went to Lows gave them the sheet asked if they could price match for same brand features and asked if they gave the Veteran service connected disabilty discount-they said yes, they beat Home Depot by $40.00 on the stove and $14.00 on the microwave and also gave Me about $68.00 on taxes and total package, saved me money and treated Me with the diginity and
respect Us Veterans deserve for fighting for Our Country!
This complaint is somewhat bothersome only because I would hope most military would never want to come across as 'entitled.' Am I personally thankful for their service? Absolutely! But complaining about not getting special treatment for that service goes completely against why one should serve.
As they said, it's not mandatory or a law to provide discounts to veterans. It's lucky that Lowe's was able to price match for you.
air conditioner/heater installation
Today is our saddest Thanksgiving because we just installed our new air conditioner/Heater yesterday, and suddenly, we became the biggest joke among our friends, because we spent $12000 on our air conditioner in our 2000 square feet house.
Yes, my husband only trusts Home Depot, and yes, I do believe Home Depot sells everything item by item and over charge us, but what can we do, we had already paid it and nothing can be changed. What Home Depot should consider is, when the salesman tried to sell the package to customer, does he really consider the best benefit of the customer? is it necessary /economic to customer or Home Depot just want to have a quick sale? Will the customer be happy about the outcome (spent $4000 more)and return to Home Depot to buy more service? or we just become another Home Depot walking negative commercial to our friends?
Do you still trust Home Depot? I asked my husband, he remains silent for 5 seconds and he told me, he was not sure. Home Depot lost another loyal/valuable customer like my husband.
front double sided fibreglass doors by codel
We decided to let Home Depot (HD) Lead#937749, do the job to change & install our front double-sided doors & initiated contact Jul 11, 2017 with emphasis that we wanted it completed by mid September. After some back & forth with types of locks and colour, we finalized our contract with the regional sales manager, Claudia, of Peak Installations, HD's service provider on July 27, with an expected completion date on the contract for Sep 16-30. I followed up with Peak Sep 11 on installation but was told by Rovi, the then project coordinator that there was delay. I called Rovi several times & sent email messages but there was never any replies. I finally go a hold of Rovi and told her that if installation couldn't be done by end of Sept., then I wanted it done on Oct 16, after I return from a trip. I returned early but was told that Rovi was no longer at Peak. I kept following up with Peak & was told that a Jennifer will be looking after me. Jennifer then called & said installation would be 3rd week of Oct., which came & went and into the 4th week at which time Jennifer called to say installation will be Nov 2, 2017. Now into the 4th month from initial ordering with HD, you would expect a good & complete job! BUT, look at the pictures attached hereto! No brickmolds for my front doors. I had complaint to HD's customer care (ticket #[protected]) thinking they could expedite things to finish my doors. USELESS! Jennifer sent an email Nov 17 advising the brickmolds would be installed December 5. Now, I sent complaints, Nov 17 & 20 to Peak's customer care too. They are turning a deaf ear too because I asked for someone who has responsibility to contact me, but I guess there is no responsible person at Peak.
My conclusion is HD & Peak are not companies that I would want to have do any work for my home! Unreliable and bad service!
delivery service
I️ am very upset. The promises made by Home Depot mean nothing.I️ was at my sons to care for him after 3 emergency surgeries, the fridge went out
I️ ordered a new one plus a washer dryer and was promised a delivery date
When the day came ( after a week) the delivery team was totally irrational would not listen and refused to deliver to the condo
Despite the fact there is a huge delivery space designated for loading unloading
This is a large complex of condos ( not a tiny one) with more than 400 units
Are u kidding me, they can't stop in the delivery area because it could take longer than 20 min, they can't park in a space because they are prohibited to pay a coin in it, the entrance has to be 30 ft from the truck
What kind of crazy ppl and rules do these ppl go by?
I️ cancelled my order happily ( after trying to work it out with the store manager)
And went to Lowes where they were more than to meet my needs and turned them selves inside out to get me the appliances in a very timely manner due to our family emergency
Thank u Lowe's! I️ will never ever order from Home Depot again NEVER
shower door
November 17th I placed a order by phone, This is in Oak Ridge Tenn and talked to Marilyn, buy the way is she the only one that works there? I gave her all info that was needed, she put it in computer( I think) and ask my name and that was it cause she proceeded to talk about her DOGS! And of all things my name was her fav dog name, so I was nice and found out bunches about dogs.I saw a order on my email about a installer will call, 3 days later no call, I proceeded to call help the help num to see what happened, They referred me back to Marilyn in Oak Ridge, I stated I did not want to talk to her because I was unhappy but was told there was nothing they could do I had to call the sales lady! I told them no and that was it, I will never order products to be installed again, poor sales people who do not care, no customer support, and last but not least Marilyn. Does she own home Depot? Why is she still working there? No sales from her? Guess she just comes in for her recreation and gets paid for it.She is not making Home Depot money she is working for herself.
low voltage pathway lights [protected]
Bought this product on a gift card 8 months ago. 3 lights stopped working . Tried to return the item but did not have proof of purchase. Was declined. Now I have a box of inoperable lights. The customer service employee would not accept a return since I had no proof. The product Itself was either defective or cheaply made and it's a Home Depot product . All I want is a return to purchase different lighting
website ordering
I went online to place an order that was to be shipped to and picked up at particular store. I made sure that I put in my ZIP code and selected the proper store to make sure it was correct. One item was to be shipped and two were pickup. When the order was placed I found out later that one item was shipped to me as requested, one item was to be picked up at the correct store and the most important item was to be picked up at a different store . For some reason your software insists on defaulting to a store that I do not use.
When I contacted Hone depot I was told that neither store could make any changes and company internet personel couldn't make any changes until after the order was shipped. An associate reached out to the stores on my behalf to see if something could be done. I am hoping that this can be resolved without having to cancel my order or sending someone to the other store to pick up the item. Your people are great. Your web site needs work . It is so mechanized that you cant get to a real person without going thru hell.
kitchen countertops and sink not delivered and installed when promised.
Purchased over $ 13, 000 worth of appliances and counter tops w/attached sink and faucet on Sept. 7th. Appliances and cabinets were delivered in a timely manner but the counter tops and sink have yet to be delivered and installed. It has been over a month since the service dept. has measured for the counter tops and according to my salesman, the quartz material has still not been delivered to the fabricator to be cut for delivery and installation. What was supposed to take 2 weeks has now been over 4 weeks and my salesman still cant tell me when I can expect this order to be completed. I now have to have a temporary sink installed so I can serve Thanksgiving dinner to a dozen relatives in the 3 days I have till Thanksgiving Day. Not happy with Home Depot.
cashier johnetta
She's very rude by being on her cell phone the whole time while checking out and that is so disrespectful. Now I notice this has been going on for awhile and nothing hasn't been done. I am a valuable customer but this young lady has no respect for the company. I've watched her put tax id numbers in for certain customers now I see she's no longer at the pro desk but she still on her phone. I hope something is done about this lady soon.
Have you asked to speak to her supervisor?
bad customer experience
Very bad customer experience with miss kavita bisram, not smiling like she in a very bad mood this job doesn't fit her at all. I ask for her help on getting advise on the curtains rod she told me to go look in the ile someone else will can answer me. Not helpful at all. What's the use having her here at home depot. This is not her field as all.
She busy talking to her next nextdoor and not paying attention to what i need. Some actions must be taken for her attitude cause this company will loose business.
Your complaint is a little difficult to read due to your grammar and spelling.
Is it possible the employee isn't trained in curtain rods? Either way, have you tried asking for her supervisor?
ordering of flooring
Ordered flooring in store on 11/6/17. Told it would come in 5 days. On the 10th day I called and was told it would be another 5 days. Went to the store the following day to make sure it was ordered and was told it had not been and it would have to be redone. I'm furious at this point. Floors have been paid for and they don't seem too concerned about correcting their mistake in any hurry.
homedepot.com customer service | case #[protected]
This is in regards to case# [protected], and order #s W780867670 & C780375717. By now, I am fed up with Home Depot and their customer service. My last purchasing experience, and will remain my last, has been a complete nightmare.
Back on September 7th, 2017, I placed an order via HomeDepot.com for a specific lighting fixture I had my eyes on for quite some time. Decided to finally make the purchase since the item had gone down in price, and wanted to also take advantage of two MasterCard gift cards that HD issued me after participating in one of their paint-purchase rebate programs; which by the way, a complete disaster this program. My order was immediately canceled due to issues they were having in processing the MasterCard gift cards. Since no one from customer service ever reached out to at least fix the problem, I went ahead and contacted them to see why this had happened, and of course how I could proceed with processing the order for the light. The following day, 8th of September, I received an email from customer service,
"Thank you for contacting Home Depot, I understand you would like to use two of the MasterCard Rewards Cards for an online purchase. At this time, our website can only take one credit card and up to 10 Home Depot gift cards. You are able to use the MasterCard to purchase an online gift card by searching for Gift Card on our website, to then use in conjunction with the other reward card."
I thought, brilliant idea so that I can take advantage of these cards. WRONG! After calling customer service to see if this was possible, I was told that the only way this "idea" would work is if I went into a local HD store and purchased HD gift cards there...using the rebate MasterCards. I visited my local HD, and guess what?...associate wasn't able to help with this since one of the MasterCard gift cards that I had originally used on HomeDepot.com was reading a balance of $0. I immediately called customer service (start counting, we're by two phone calls) and explained to them the $0 balance issue. I was told that I had needed to contact HD after my order was cancelled, to provide them with a different form of payment in order for my purchase to have successfully gone through. Why I was finding this piece of information out now?...no clue. I explained to them that I wanted to use THIS form of payment, the MasterCard gift card, and was then was told that I needed to wait 5-7 business days in order to have my balance reissued back into the card. But by now, it had already been 7 days since purchasing online, so why wasn't the card reloaded? Oh that's right, since I didn't call HD from when my purchase was cancelled, I guess they thought it'd be a better idea to wait until customer called to then start the reissuing process. I waited, then called again (3rd phone call). I explained to the rep the entire issue, to please read the notes in reference to the order #, and to figure out some sort of solution as to how I can use this MasterCard. Great news, solution found! And no, still no kudos for HD. While on the phone with the rep, I came up with the idea of just cancelling this MasterCard gift card, and issuing me a normal HD e-giftcard to use on the website. Which by the way, this could have all been avoided by simply visiting Amazon.com and using the MasterCard gift card there for the SAME light fixture. But since I was, at the time, a loyal HD customer, I figured I'd buy it from HD. On September 19th (keep in mind, initial purchase was made on the 7th), I was issued the e-gift card, and was finally able to make my purchase with no issues...until item arrived.
The nightmare continued after noticing that the hardware for the light fixture was defective (decorative nut was already screwed on its bolt, and impossible to remove/unscrew). After the couple weeks of waiting, calling HD numerous times, figuring out a solution to my problem (the Home Depot MasterCard debit cards, which by the way, again, is a disastrous rebate program), and finally placing the order for the fixture I've been dying for, you'd think nothing else can go wrong, right? I immediately called HD customer service (4th phone call) and was told to reach out to the manufacturer, Globe Electronics, in order to have this issue resolved directly with them. I did exactly that, spoke with them, explained the issue, and they had no problem sending me a set of new mounting hardware. But here's my problem now: ONE TO TWO WEEKS to receive new hardware! I understand that by now, this is out of Home Depot's hands…but this entire purchasing experience has been ridiculous, a complete waste of my time, and I regret ever making this purchase via the HD website, when I could have done this via Amazon.com, as they were offering the same light fixture at same cost. Hardware arrived after 3 weeks of calling, was happy to head straight to installation, installed with no problem, but after all of this effort, the end product and its quality was awful; wobbly fixture, bent rods, and glass domes didn't fit correctly in housing.
We're by November 18th, and I've emailed HD customer service twice regarding a full refund for this, and that I refuse to visit any local HD store to make the return.
I've loved Home Depot for so long, going on 15 years of visiting all local HDs for my home project needs, and never have I had such a problem with HD, or with any other retailer for that matter. This experience really did it for me, and I can't see myself buying from HD to have to worry about something like this ever again. Thankfully, I've got a Lowes store 1.7 miles, a Harbor Freight Tools store 3.3 miles, and an Ace Hardware store 4.3 miles from my home.
I hope my purchasing story gets read, and that it serves as a form of precaution to those A) purchasing from homedepot.com, B) thinking of participating in any of their rebate programs, and C) contacting customer service, as they are honestly no help at all.
Thanks,
AB
ge 5.0 cu. ft. electric range with self-cleaning oven in black
I went in to buy the above stove 358.00, but they had none in stock I would have to pay for delivery to the store, or buy a protection plan or buy a more expensive one or buy a microwave for the store to get the item delivered. It became clear that I could not get that stove at the listed price, he agreed. This is either bait and switch or false advertising, If it is not in the store for that price. I fail to understand why I have to pay for the store to get the stove advertised for a price. Clearly I can not get that stove for the advertised price because they don't stock it.
samsung hub refrigerator rebate receipt
On [protected] I purchased an Samsung Refrigerator Model Number RF265BEAESG which offered a rebate for an Samsung Free Home Connect WI Fi Router valued at $379.00 providing the valid purchase dates 9/3/17-10/31/17 which I obviously qualify.
These are the attached documents that Home Depot provided me with to submit for the rebate. After two submissions after 11/13/2017 I was deneid my rebate due to the receipt didn't have the items model number on it in which Home Depot didn't provide me with the proper/correct receipt and when I contact Home depot about the issue the solution was by an manager was to return the items if they didn't let me resubmit via email in 24-48 hours.
Its been approximately 30 days since purchasing the Samsung Refrigerator along with an Samsung microwave, range, dishwasher and freezer spending nearly $6, 000.00 and given the improper receipt from Home Depot and the solution is to give back the refrigerator when I was promised and $379.00 rebate item. This item was only declined because Home Depot associate didn't provide an proper receipt with the proper rebate information on it.
I shouldn't have to return the item because I didn't get the rebate as promise nor should I have to purchase the $379.00 WI-Fi router in order to properly operate my unit when none of this is my fault and I purchase and paid for this item in the proper time frame in order to get the rebate.
This an attached copy of the exact receeipt that I received from and Home Depot Associate assuring me thats wht I needed to submit for my rebate.
Please credit me $379.00 so I can purchase the WI Fi Router that I have yet to receive so I don't have to refund my entire purchase because I was Lied to and cheated out of my rebate.
I was partially on board with your complaint, but after viewing the receipt you've posted, it doesn't itemized anything. It almost seems as if your missing or have lost part of the receipt, which is why I'm sure they're denying the claim. Is it possible for Home Depot to simply reprint the receipts?

Made a complaint about front end supervisor, christy Calloway, throwing a basket on the floor at my husband and myself after being asked to give his military discount. Was reported to store manager, Elena horn. Nothing has been resolved and like all other complaints about this person it gets swept under the rug. Don't shop at Home Depot in Trussville al unless you want rude service and nothing being done about it. Christy needs to be fired along with Elena! Hope everyone starts shopping at Lowe's...it's just around the corner!
What was the discount on? I know military discounts are only available with certain products. If you're willing, I'd be interested to hear the details.
It sounds like you may know these individuals on a more personal level than as a customer only. Most likely all that could be done regarding the basket situation would be a verbal warning. If you have had more negative experiences as a customer only, then you may want to consider escalating your complaint and contacting their corporate customer service.
home depot associate training and mismanagement
Hi, I am Robert Baker, I was an associate ([protected]) at Home Depot Store 0508 Conroe Texas, for the past two months. I am a retired Air Force Senior NCO. I selected to work at Home Depot because I honestly fealt I would enjoy working with customers and helping them plan for their DIY projects or ensure they had a great shopping experience. I am highly upset with the way Home Depot Trains their associates (Mostly CBT), mis-manages their employees (poor planning and scheduling of employees) and poor allocation of resources (people) to the departments that need them. (I could no longer tolerate their management practices and quit this evening). Here are my complaints.
1. I never had access to my work schedule from day one. There was an issue with my profile. I submitted a ticket to IT. Was escalated to Level 3. Never resolved. HR at Conroe seemed to be overworked and not able to perform all her duties.
2. I was told I would get paid for the 4 hrs initial training at hire event. Never got paid. Told HR several times, never resolved.
3. Worked in flooring Dept on 2d shift, other employees that worked 2d shift had two months or less with Home Depot, absolutely no hand son training. This resulted in Customers becoming dissatisfied when trying to make special orders. Lost several customers to our competitors.
4. Although worked in flooring, pulled several times to bring shopping carts in from parking lot and loading vehicles because no lot attendants were scheduled. Occurs frequently, poor management of allocated resources.
5. Pulled several times to help customers in appliances because appliances only had one associate on duty, and that associate only had one day of training. Lost a customer to Lowes because of this.
6. I didn't mind helping as many customers as I could wherever and whenever. The biggest issue is not receiving enough training within our own department to satisfy customers needs, then being asked to help in another department where we have no training at all. Customers could see this and many left un happy saying they would return on days where more experienced people worked.
7. This store needs some major training in Management from the Top Down, and they need to improve their on hands training. New employees should not be left alone to fend for themselves and self teach. Leads to poor customer service.
Assistant Manager (Kenny) said tonight I was just complaining, took non of my issues seriously.

star fruit tree died
Six months ago I bought a Star fruit tree at the Marathon Florida Home Depot and was told it had it had a 1 year guarantee. I took it back and they told me they wouldn't give me a new one(might have something to do with Irma). Just wondering what you policy was?
On October 22, 2017 I went to the return desk with my receipt for the Star fruit tree and they said I had to have the actual dead tree. The next day I pulled it up and brought it in and they told me because of hurricane Irma they were NOT honoring the one year guarantee policy, so I left in in their trash.
