My wife and I came to celebrate my birthday upon being seated at roughly 2:50 our waitress told us she will be right back roughly 15 mins past and no glass of water nor drinks. So I politely asked a guy in a red shirt I assume he was the shift lead may we go ahead and order. So our waitress says hey I have them I will take care of them. As I headed back to my seat my waitress (Kaitlyn)! came apologized to tell us that she didn’t know she had our table……mind you this is the same waitress that told us she will be right back. However when she apologized she left Ed us again without taking our drink order. After she leaves my wife and I proceeded to leave and decided to speak with the manager. He informed us that we will be taken care of however we still had the same waitress. It took us roughly thirty mins to get a class of water (without straws I had to walk to the bar to get my own. Asked waitress for a straw she was busy) service was terrible food awesome. I wouldn’t recommend the service of Kaitlyn to anyone. It seems as if she had something against us.
During nonpeak hours there is no reason the service should have been this terrible. Check your sales between 2:50 and 3:50 no reason to get complaints when you guys aren’t busy
Kaitlyn needs training the service is terrible she really messed up a terrific meal!

My former Roomate Megan Beckett is a server here and last week when I went to eat here, she had a co worker enter our home and harass me. I felt unsafe where I lived. She was angry I ate there even though I didn’t speak to her and she was not my server. The co worker yelled my name and used derogatory language towards me as revenge for eating here.

On Saturday 8/20/2022 I order 2 Grand Daddy fest (BBQ) to go when I get home an open them one was BBQ other was steamed so I called Manager Jeff a drove back up there to return them, so he redid them left came home opened them and they were spoiled called Manager again Jeff he's going to tell me I need to talk to Distract manager Alvin and he won't be in until Monday on 22, 2022 so I put the spoiled crab in Ice Box Monday morning at around 11:30 am I went back to speak to Distract manager Alvin and took the spoiled crab and he wasn't there and so I spoke to another manager Elise telling me Alvin won't be there until Tuesday Jeff lied, and told me I didn't need to bring the spoiled crab up there but I wanted to show them. So now it's Tuesday and I called up there to discuss this situation with the distract manager Alvin at 11:00 am, he was so rude, he said if I used a credit card he can refund me but since I used cash he can't and didn't wont to discuss my situation about this crab being spoiled. I spent $143.53 and I have my receipt and a witness, I will never eat there again are friends/ family. We used to eat there twice a month. If I don't get a response, I will complain to USDA/FDA and my lawyer. I feel I was discriminated because of my race, and this isn't the first time.

On Sat20.2022 i ordered 2 BBQ grand daddy fest to go, got home the the order was wrong called an spoke to manager jeff i told him i was on my way back to bring them, so jeff redid them so got home again opened them and they were spoiled called back, this time manager jeff told me that i have to wait until Monday the 22, 2022 for district manager alvin to deal with this situation so i put spoiled crab in ice box until monday, went up there monday an was told by another manager elisea that alvin the district manager wont be in until tuesday on the 23 so tuesday the 23 i called to speak to him about the situation and he was very rude and told me that if i payed with a credit card he would do i refund but sence i used cash he couldn't refund me, i spent $143.53 an i have receipt i didn't understand that then told me to call HQ asked for number because the one on internet dont work, gave me wrong number twice an then was smart about it. We placed a togo order - paid the togo order fee also tipped and received a horrible experience! We were trying to make it easier for my husband and I to enjoy a meal as we were traveling with our 2 year old.
Food was cold - all of it
We ordered the Sampler Appetizer plate and calamari was hard and not eatable and again cold. The crap dip didn't come with chips or bread or anything to enjoy it with and again cold. The great balls of fire didn't come with ranch or any dipping sauce and again cold.
My tacos were cold and it came with queso but no chips to enjoy the queso with.
The kids meal was cold but other wise fine.
We had to wait about 10 minutes for our order but got there at the ready time. We of course didn't mind waiting and then we had a 5 min walk back to our hotel but the food should have been hot and fresh since we had to wait on it.
When you spend $60 you expect better than this by far!
Desired outcome: We would like a full refund - as we do not live by a Joe's crab shack. As nothing much was right!
Food quality
Went to joe's crab shack for my birthday dinner July 1, there were five of us. I ordered the crab legs and fish platter, which was disgusting, my daughter ordered chicken tenders my other daughter had a salad and fries my son-in-law had a fish platter and my husband had a hamburger. Everything was disgusting and it cost us $178. What a waste of money. Will never be going to Joe's crab shack ever again! The crab legs look like they were burnt inside if that's possible, and the battered fish was all breaded with a slither of fish inside that looked old and disgusting and slimy! My husband and daughter wanted to order steak, but they were out of steak, how can that be on a Friday night the beginning of the month you're out of meat. Ridiculous
Desired outcome: I want my money back for this disgusting meal. We didn't eat half of it.
Daytona Joes Crab Shack
I went here to eat with my family on June 7th, 2022. We had just walked off the beach and decided to eat here. As I walked in there wasn’t a wait so they were going to take us back immediately. There were three girls as hostesses up front, the one who was seating us was about to take us back when two other girl started to whisper something to her. The hostess seating us told us she was new and she was unaware of the role but apparently I had to put a shirt on because I had my bathing suit top on with a pair of shorts. My top was completely covering and could honestly pass as a crop top any day. The two other hostesses then made me purchase one of the restraints t-shirts. However they did not make my other family member who was also wearing a bathing suit top purchase a tshirt. We then went about and sat down to eat, when I noticed multiple other girls that had walked in after us who had bathing suit tops on and were not required to buy a tshirt. I immediately knew why. I am a large chested girl and I was obviously being discriminated against. So I called over the new hostess who had seated us and addressed the situation. She agreed with me and believed that the two hostesses up front were obviously discriminating me as well and she offered to get her manager so that I could get my money back and a formal apology. When she returned she stated that her manager refused to come out and that he also wouldn’t give us our money back and that she would personally have to refund us. So in result she personally venomed me with her money. This is completely unprofessional and horrible business. I don’t know who your manager is but he obviously has no place in the restaurant business. There is no excuse for this because the restaurant wasn’t even busy. That hostess should not had to personally refund me! I’m also ashamed that I was basically bullied in the restaurant. Those hostesses need to go and so does your manager! I’ll leave proof of the hostess personally venoming me below!

Joe's crab shack on river street in Savannah, Georgia. What is the point in making a reservation if I still have to wait in line with the walk ins, and never even get a table? Staff is rude, lazy, incompetent. Never coming here again.

My name is Justus legal name bridget king which i no longer use do to being abused mental and emotional for years by person who gave name.I was pulled into the office several days ago by my manager james and the bar tender which said that they over heard myself which is employeed as a dishwasher use the word [censored]. On defense of myself there is no possible way with music playing in the kitchen that anyone in the resturant heard me use any kind of language but i do have a bad habit of using this word from time to time. I am having a lot of problems due to some artist in the music and movie business which have not payed me from previous things and up to date things which i am working on, on my time off causing alot of problems for me in the local area because they come in and claim what I have been doing and leave me without my part. Last night for examply i was at the days inn not far from our resaturant location and biggie smalls which is something being used hopefuly torwards my armageddon, revlation in the next eight years was something being sent. Today i am released from my job. James did not fire me and the problem was resolved the other day. I believe Micheal usher raymond or Jaden smith may be one of the individuals creating problems and making false reports against me to my employeer. I have been fighting for rights and have personal been taken from from both of these men, a golden pharoah from jaden father was removed from me in my sleep in chicago and yes I do use fowl language against these people from time to time. I am not a prejudice person and feel as if this has alot to do with what has happen. In the island in Serville Tn i found Micheal usher trying to claim my head of the rhiana i was working with the other night and i do believe this is why these reports have been made. I can not affford to be dismissed from my job. I heard that a half a million dollars of venom eneinem money was spend by individuals around this location and they created issues for me in state of Florida by forgering my name to docunments.Person of interest to question jennifer Lopez. They held me in wrong countys custody and force mental health issues which i do not have. I have been going thru some childhood abuse issues as well which i did report to the cops. I am having alot of night terrors and day disfortable due to a phyical and sexual abuse past relative and alot is coming uncovered, which does result in some discomfort and yes i do swear, but it would not have been loud enough for people to hear in resturant. Thank you for your time. I have been abused for years by some of these artist because of not following in a cry pretty john cash footprint. It was suppost to be me forced to the street rather than overcoming.

We have a lunch in Joe Crab shack in Daytona piers on Mai 5 2022 12pm ticket #30004, table 55. I order the classic samplers and mi wife the Chicken sandwich ,When the server come with the sampler that be over fried dry and burn ,I ask the hostess to check the plate an told me> and be redoing mi plate I ask to speak to the Chef because I be a Executive chef before I retired for WDW for over 25 years and I know some time is not easy to manage a kitchen when you are short of staffs, no one come for me the location do not care about local guest only tourisms customers so the quality is to important because that clienteles is not a repeat guest.

Poor food quality
On March 19, 2022 my husband and I ordered the Atlantic Steampot, garlic bread, a bowl of New England clam chowder and 2 side salads from your 230 Portofino Way, Redondo Beach, CA 90277 location, to be delivered by Ubereats (see attached receipt). The Atlantic Steampot that we received was very disappointing. The lobster claws were water logged and flavorless and the shrimp were rubbery and overcooked.
Desired outcome: Please refund the amount charged to us for the Atlantic Steampot, at your earliest convenience.
Hostess
I've literally been waiting over a hour for table while looking at 3 two tops sitting dirty right in front of me. Seriously! Stand at the corner of the bar listening for my name and grew tired so I approached the hostess station to question my place in n line and was told I was already called. I most definitely was not! I was seated at one of the 2 tops previously mentioned and the server question whether I had seated myself, mind you I had menus in front of me. He couldn’t accept my answer so before he would serve me had to go back into the restaurant to double check to make sure I wasn’t lying. Maybe this is just how they treat single guests to make room for couples and larger parties. Terrible, I just wanted to treat myself to a meal on the pier while visiting Daytona.
Cold food, not crispy chewy food
On our recent visit to Joe's carb shack I was extremely disappointed with the fish that I was served on my plate. As well as the plates of my children
I ordered the fish and chips, my husband the seafood ensemble, my daughter the kids fish sticks, and my other daughter the shrimp and fish plate. The fish on all the plates were not fresh and was hard to chew.
Desired outcome: Refund for the plates on my order that included the fish and fries. All of which were cold and tasted like they had been sitting or were re warmed before serving.

Visited on 2/3/22 about 7:30pm. I ordered king crab legs and some of it was rotten and I was merely given a discount. The didn't take it off my bill even though our waiter agreed he wouldn't eat it either. A manager didn't even bother to come by and no one apologized. Both my husband and I couldn't eat anything else. We left hungry and disappointed.
visit date 2/3/22 - at about 6:30pm - Location 6 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. My husband was served king crab legs that had rotten spots. He only ate part of one leg as he hadnt noticed the rot yet. We pointed this out to the waited and he took it back to the kitchen and the cook said since not all of it was rotten we could only have a $22 discount on the $60 plate. He ate about 10% of his food and I ate about 24% of mine. We were so put off by the rotten food that we just left hungry. A manager wouldn't come to the table and no one appoligized. The waiter male agreed it was rotten and would not eat any of it.
