I purchased a new Kia Telluride in May 2023 Coughlin Kia Lancaster Ohio - upon driving it home I realized that the sunroof did not work. I contacted my salesperson and set up an appointment with the service department. The day before the appointment I was contacted by the service department informing me that there would not be anyone available to work on my car and my appointment needed to be rescheduled 3 -4 weeks out. Long story short, I ended up going all summer without a functioning sunroof. At my service appointment I was told that after 2 1/2 hours that they could not figure out what was wrong with it and would need to schedule yet another appointment. I was told that to be prepared to be without a car for 2 days. The attitude of the service department when I mentioned that this is a BRAND NEW CAR was "Oh Well." I get the impression that once they sell you a car they are done with you and don't care what happens next. I love my Telluride and have become somewhat of a Kia spokesperson but if this is the service that is to be expected when a brand new car has something wrong with it I may be changing my mind.
Desired outcome: Vehicle to be repaired like new; replacement vehicle during servicing.
