Was to pick up order between 7 and 8 pm. Called told me too busy try to pick up tomorrow. That was not an option for me. Told them I needed by 815 longest could wait. Sick parent at home, nurse coming.
I get the groceries at 830. Come home. Did not give at least 150 dollars of my groceries.
Now come the calls. Asking address. Then couldn't find my home. Put them on the porch.
This service was horrendous. Do not use !
6 minutes prior to store closing I was denied access to the store by security personnel
The Kroger store located at the corner of Beltline Rd. and Northgate in Irving, Tx. is open til midnight. I needed a bag of ice and a frozen dinner. I arrived at the store at 11:54 pm. I see a group of 3 people walk in the store ahead of me. When I get to the door the security guard stops me and tells me that the store is closed. I tell him what time it is and tell him that I would be out of the store before midnight and he again denies me access. I end up having to go across the street to Tom Thumb, get my items and I'm out just after midnight. I shop at Kroger every day and spend a lot of money in your store. This practice of denying access before the store is actually closed is unacceptable to me. If you want all of your employees gone by midnight I suggest you close the store 15 minutes earlier. My kroger card number is [protected] 0. Check it out and and you'll see that I am telling you the truth. Now I can't say the same thing for Kroger. You say you're open till midnight but you deny access earlier than that. Please reply to this complaint. I want to know if this is the norm at Kroger. Sincerely, Kerry Stultz [protected]

availability of toasted oats cereal
This is my first complaint in the forty-plus years of being Kroger patron. My elderly mother and I greatly enjoy the plain Toasted Oats Cereal with almond flavor. (We prefer it over Cheerios). It appears to no longer be avaible. I've looked in two stores and found only Honey Nut Toasted Oats in the previously mentioned cereal's former location. I finally purchased it and it is not to our liking.
I don't understand why you would pull an item which sold well. And we would like you to return it to the shelves. Thank you.

rude employees
Myself and my husband are in Kroger (in the Georgetown shopping center in Dunwoody, Ga) at least 4-5 times, if not more and the majority and I mean 90% of the employees are rude and have the worse customer service. This has been going on for so long and I have ignored it, as Kroger is close to me and has good prices, but it has gotten so bad. If the employees even speak, which most of the time while checking out the employees do not look or speak to anyone. I try to be very friendly and I get no response. If an employees speaks it is unbelievable how rude they are. I was in this Kroger yesterday 8/10/17 @ 6:15 PM (there is [protected] next to the date and time) and Mary who was the cashier did not speak after I said hello how are you. I wrote a check and ask can I get $10 back please, she rudely said you can try. I thanked her and said have a great rest of the day, 3 times and no word. All the employees act like this. I will be shopping at Publix. I hope someone can give good customer service training for this store.
pie crusts
the id #1F211548, expiration date October 1, 2017.
Both crusts in the box, when used, were extremely DRY and after
baking would not 'slice' with the end of the crust crumbling.
Also, the taste was more like cardboard, not enough shortening (since
I have made homemade dough myself)
I do not have the receipt, since I purchased this box about 3 weeks ago;
It was kept on the upper shelf of the refrig, not very cold and not
frozen. I have purchased other brands, even at less cost and have
not experienced this result.
Please send a store credit...

national tv ad for pork roast.88 per pound
For 3 days, I have seen an ad for pirk roast at .88 per pound aired on Channel 13 (ABC) in the Houston area. I went to your stores at FM 1960 & 2920, FM2920 & Kuykendahl, FM 249 & Cypresswood Dr. none of the meat market managers at these stores is aware of the ad. Where may I find pork roast for the advertised price? It had been a challenge getting local Kroger managers/employees to help
kroger brand seltzer water - raspberry
I am contacting you to make you aware of a potentially dangerous situation with Kroger brand Seltzer Water (raspberry flavor and maybe others). My daughter and I were driving in the car when a can of Kroger sparkling water exploded. Admittedly, it was about 5 min. after we had gotten back into our hot car where we had left an unopened can of your water...

I've been shopping at this Kroger's ever since it opened now I'm in serious thought about quitting I've had a run-in with this little gentleman two times I understand you have the card if the customer looks under 28 but I am 55 years old and everyone there knows me I quit shopping there for a while because of him
Sincerely very unhappy customer thanks
jessica (refused to give last name) - supervisor
Supervisor Jessica refused to sell me a bottle of wine because my husband was with me and he is under 21. I was buying the wine, and using my credit card and had my ID on me. I'm 24 years old and all these informations were passed to the employee. My husband left the store and by myself I came back to her to buy the wine that I wanted. Still Jessica said she wouldn't sell any wine for me 'cause she isn't willing to lose her job over it. I drove 15 miles to the closest Walmart in order to find the drink that I wanted. I wonder if I go back to this Kroger store again another day (by myself) and try to buy wine again Jessica won't allow me 'cause she knows that I am married to a 20 years old man. I'm very disappointed with her attitude and with this "law" that she says that exists, and nobody else ever heard about it. This situation happened on Monday, August 07 at 11:45pm.
rude manager
I am writing this complaint on a manager named Judius. Store number 560 division 34 district 11. My complaint is that he is very rude and cuses at his employees where us customers can here. The other day when I went to the store I over heard him yelling and cursing at an employee. I figured as a manager that it was very uncalled for. I feel like when being a manager you are suppose to encourage your employees not put them down by yelling at them more so cursing at them. I felt so bad for the employee. I am hoping something gets done about this and that it won't happen again.
coupons refused
Hi,
I went to Kroger located in Prosper, TX on August 5, 2017. I was prepared to stock up with some deals using my printable coupons I had printed that morning from my computer. In all fairness, I had a large stack of coupons, They were all legit and printed directly from coupons.com website. I did not have more than 4 of any exact same coupon. After spending nearly an hour matching up my items and making sure I bought in quantities of 5 for the Mega Deal Sale, I went to check out. The cashier, whose name tag read department manager, said he would have to check on the coupons and called his manager. The manager of the store said he would not take them. He came to the front and spoke to me in person saying someone in the area had scammed Kroger for $1400 worth of lost products and now he gets emails everyday from Kroger headquarters saying he cannot take those coupons anymore. He also said this was the new policy in our entire area, which is North Dallas, TX. I was highly doubtful of this, but what could I do? The manager said "No." He was apologetic and said he's sorry that they ruined it for everyone. So I was stuck. Nearly all my items I was planning to get were coupon related. The cashier had to un-ring all my items and then the store workers had to restock my items because I was not going to buy them. It would have been nice to know up-front when I walked in the store that they had this policy rather than after I had worked for over an hour printing seemingly useless coupons and then another hour shopping. Is this even true that Kroger basically only accepts insert coupons or digital coupons? I have a large family of 7 kids and I do love Kroger prices when I can match sales and coupons. I was very disappointed with the whole experience. Needless to say, this was VERY frustrating. I might as well just take my ad to Walmart and price match using my coupons in the future.
poor customer service and lack of handling customer concerns about products and making sure they are pleased and happy.
Hi my name is Nakeshia Riddick and I'm writing to make a complaint about being treated fairly and respectful as an loyal customer of Kroger. Saturday I went into the Kroger on Timber Drive Garner NC to get the special for that day only, in which was the 32 count ( I believe) box of chips that was priced only for that day at $6.99. When I asked the cashier about the chips she told me that it was a special for today only and I had to have it loaded to my Kroger card, I politely told her yes I knew that and it was done when I first received the email and I was here to purchase a box. She told me what aisle they were on but I told her there were none there and I wanted to make sure they weren't located any where else in the store. She well if you looked there and there was none then we must be out but I could go to customer service to see what they say or will do. So I went to customer service in which I stood in line for almost 15 minute's waiting on what I hoping was going to be a manager for me too speak too. Mind you there were two other people also waiting in line with me to speak to customer service also. Well when someone finally came to assist us, I approach the counter with items in my hand also to purchase, I asked her about the chips and she told me that yes she was aware that there was no more and she went to the back also to see if there was any and it was none. I told fine but is there any way I can get a rain check so I can get me box because I want to understand how a store be open for hours and its the middle of the day and the chips are gone already. I told her I shop her often and I know when they have a sale Kroger is usually stocked with their items and they try to keep the shelves stock and other areas of the store where you can find the items you want to purchase and if they post that the item is unavailable or out of stock they don't mind issuing you a raincheck. I shop to Kroger several times a week and no the rules fairly well. So after she told me that it wan' t any more I asked for a raincheck and she told me that I couldn't get one for a one day special buy in which I never knew that because all other stores offer you one if need to be.So I said that don't sound right so can I please speak to a manager and she said at this time I'm the person in charge. I was like how in the world they leave a cashier to handle customer service duties and don't know how to treat the customer with their concerns. All the answers were short and less of care. So I also so approach her with the question, how come I see a cart full of boxes of chips in the corner by the self check out but you told me there were no more. She said they belong to someone. Now I'm trying to understand how you hold a full cart of boxes of chips when you have customers coming in there willing to buy and we can't because the employees have already filled an cart with them to purchase later. To me as a loyal customer I don't feel like that is right. They should be able to purchase them just like us when they are on break or not working. Not hiding items away to purchase later. I wasn't the only customer to see them because as I walked away letting her know that I wasn't please and I will be contacting someone to voice my concerns a customer behind me said I'm sorry to be interrupt but I was up here about the same question, why are those boxes of chips in that cart and not on the floor for sale. I told the customer good luck because I got the cold shoulder and was told it was on hold for employees to purchase and I was at lost because it was none left and it was nothing she could to help me and left it and that and asked for the other customer to come forward so she can help them next. Yes I was upset but I still purchase my items I had in my hand by going back to the self check out to cash my own self out. Poor experience at Kroger in all the years I've shopped there. I feel like I'm owed an apology and need to be allowed to go and get the chips at the one day price by either giving an gift card or a raincheck to go get them. Just my opinion. I want stop shopping at Kroger but I will chose the store I think desires my loyalty because I do shop and save a lot there. Concern Customer. Thank you!
store is poorly stocked lately
Your store at Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Taylor Road in Suwanee has been terribly stocked in recent months. I had to wait 3 weeks for small adult diapers (Kroger brand) to get stocked again. I had to go to another store to get some for my 91 year old mother.
I have been waiting for your brand of Muesli cereal to get stocked again for over a week. Again, I had to make a trip to another store to get what I wanted.
Recently, I went in and there were no regular cucumbers available. I had to get an organic one instead. I don't want to pay extra for organic when all I want is regular.
I hate it when I have been able to purchase certain items in your store, then suddenly it isn't available in my store anymore. It's like you look to see what I buy most often and discontinue carrying it! I end up going to Publix to get it. (or I find it stocked at another one of your stores!) That's ridiculous! Why would you carry something (hot fudge for ice cream for example - by Hershey) for years, then suddenly only carry another brand in one store, but carry it in other stores? It gets frustrating to try and shop and find that what you've been buying for years has been discontinued at my store. I've heard that it's all up to Corporate - that the individual stores have no say in what they carry. That is ridiculous, too! The individual stores know what their customers want much better than someone up an a corporate office somewhere.
rude manager
My name is Avis Lindsey and I've had the worse experience ever at one of your Kroger in Warner Robins GA on hwy 96...A manager by the name of Lily was very rude and disrespectful to me and I didn't appreciate the way she talked to me. I'm a couponer and I shop at this store at least 34 a month. But on 8-4-17 I experienced the worse experience I have ever experienced while shopping at this store. This manager name Lily come to the register I was at and just discombobulated me so bad I cried. She had Tess the cashier so nervous that she had to cancel my transaction 2 times . I understand that you have a coupon limit per day and I try to abide by the rules but this manager made things so difficult for me that I couldn't even complete my shopping trip.. what can I do about this cause at this point in time I don't feel comfortable going back to this particular store. I would love for someone to respond to this message... My email address is [protected]@yahoo.com
I also spoke to someone in the store about this and she discuss my situation with this lady Lily and then they both laughed about it... The manager Seth that I spoke with before leaving the store said he saw that situation take place. Which I thought was very rude.
the entire store
I have to be a customer of Kroger for years just not working. I shopped at the North Richland Hills store for years, about 5-6 weeks ago I had my list and spent 20-25 minutes getting my groceries went to check out counter their scale was not working but he all my groceries in register all bagged and then told me to go to customer service and they would finish checking me out, I proceeded to customer service and their was no one there another gentleman was in line said he has been waiting for several minutes after about 5-7 minutes I left the store with no groceries. Wednesday 8-2-2017 I thought I would give the Bedford Texas a chance had a grocery list got my shopping cart and the first 3 things on my list were not available although they were advertised in your add in Wednesday's paper left the store again with no groceries. The items Kroger did not have 1-corn on Cobb shelf empty2 Eckrich sausage 3- Kroger orange juice bar.I do not know how Kroger has become such a incompetent company. Sincerely Don Davis
manager complaint
I am very angry about the manager on Tower rd in Green Valley Ranch. This lady manager her name is Osana? I am not sure if i am spelling her name right. Every time I go in there she has the "I do not care attitude" Yesterday I was there she was not paying attention and not checking who was doing carts outside and had 3 minors running the cart machine the date would have been 8/2/16. A guy that was doing carts a week ago I have talked to him before he is in his 60's. He came in at 3 pm and there were no carts in the store and asked Osana why there were no carts in the store, there was 3 cart people outside just standing around. I watched her and all she did was shrug her shoulders like who cares. I witnessed this and it sickens me. I would like an email update on this.
Thank you
chicken and pork items
I have an antibiotic allergy and so does my step daughter . .over the years I have began to trust Kroger to have labels and warnings. The past couple of years I have noticed that I have gotten sick after eating chicken or pork. It wasn't until this year that I took one bite of chicken and within mins a reaction to both of us. I read the package and no warnings or labels and I have done more research and found out that Kroger has gotten lazy in customer relations . . why not tell us that there are antibiotics in the meat . . with a family of seven (4 kids, 2 adults, 1 senior) and 2 of us have reactions to antibiotics.. So many allergies this must be labeled. I couldn't replace the meat finances are tough so my sdaughter and I went vegetarian for a few days and that sucks. Whomever took over and decided that it was OK to not share this information well you sir or ma'am need to find a new job. I am only none tiny fraction and by me not shopping isnt going to hurt you at all. But when I asked local store they told me no antibiotics and I was sick for days after . . not labeled and not informed . . I will be using social network to the fullest sharing my horrible experience with a store that doesn't care and employees that can't begin to understand .. I asked for a correction i was given a dollar off coupon for deli cheese and brushed off . . I wanted labels or given info on what meat I can eat. . not a coupon for no meat . .
employee
I think it's funny how kroger hires immature, rude teens. I was shopping at kroger a few days ago and as i was walking out this employee gave me the dirtiest look ever. All i said was hi and she responded with a disgusted look and a heavy sigh. No customer should ever be disrespected like this. I'm a grown woman and i'm getting disrespected by a snotty teen who doesn't appreciate her own job. Also, My son showed me his social media where it showed the same worker that i ran into, Nancy the one with glasses, flipping off kroger and saying she hated everyone. I'm not positive if she meant like the workers or the customers, but she shouldn't have done that. I get it jobs are hard but if you really don't like your job find a new one, sweety. If nancy really appreciated her job she would'nt have posted that picture on social media. If no action is taken immediately of how immature and rude she is i will be nothing but glad to take this to a higher person. I hope she gets fired immediately for her nasty behavior and disrespect towards customers and the store. Thank you have a blessed day. The kroger store is in Mckinney, Tx 75069 at Univeristy Dr. I will be attaching the explicit image.
clicklist
August 1st, 2017
This was my second time ordering through the Clicklist. The first time was such a breeze and I received everything that I requested. My second time ordering through Clicklist was a NIGHTMARE.
I set my pick up time between 5-6pm and I know that this is normally a busy time. I expected to wait for my groceries for maybe 15-20 minutes, just like the first time. I ended up waiting for nearly 2 hours!
I pull in to the parking lot at 5:10pm. I notice that all of the spots are full for the Clicklist pick-up. There were also cars waiting to pull in to spots once one opened up blocking in customers in there parking spots. Deciding that I didn’t want to block people in to their parking spots by lining up behind the other cars, I pull in to a different parking spot where I can see if a spot opens up. There were five cars, at least, waiting in the isles of parking spots for 45 minutes before a spot finally opened up for the line to move. I thought to myself "well I have been waiting here for a long time and the lines aren't moving, I should probably try and jump in line." I didn’t know what would happen if you did not come for your groceries within the hour time slot. So pull up to the line of cars and I ended up blocking a customer's car in and had to help them back out of their parking spot. After waiting another 10 minutes, I am finally able to pull in to a pick-up spot.
It is now almost 6:00pm, and I call in to tell them I am here to pick up my groceries. They tell me they are delayed due to a busy 4-5pm pick-up and that they would waive my pick up fee (which this pick up was free anyway due to the promotion they were running) and that they could also take off a few bucks for the inconvenience or they could reschedule the pick-up for a different day. I tell the nice girl on the line "Well I have already paid for my groceries and I have sat here for almost an hour, I think I will go ahead and pick up my groceries." After that, I waited for another 45 minutes before they brought out my groceries.
Now, another thing that really pissed me off. I ordered $111.00 worth of groceries; they only brought out $50.00 worth of groceries. They did, however, take off $10.00 for my inconvenience (Thanks.) The large gap in numbers is because they claimed they were "out-of-stock" of $50.00 worth of the groceries that I was trying to order! While I find that extremely hard to believe... They were out of chicken, spinach, ground turkey, drinks, deli meat, and vegetables just to name a few. Not sure if they were out-of-stock or ran out of time to gather all of the groceries on my list.
What they did when they did not have an item was replace it with something else. For example, they did not have ground turkey so they replaced it with ground beef. Another example, they did not have white American cheese at the deli, so they replaced it with yellow American cheese. Another example, they did not have a specific flavor of juice we wanted, so they replaced it with a different flavor. For the other items that did not have a replacement, I just did not receive... Such as the chicken that I was going to use that night to cook my family dinner.
Clearly, there are some flaws in the Clicklist system. First, if there is going to be a two-hour delay, please send an email or a text alert so people can make other arrangements. Second, if you are out of an item, please do not replace it with something else. Simply send a message to the customer to let them know. Third, do not over book the Clicklist pick-up time. Fourth, if you are going to over book the Clicklist pick-up time, have more than 1-2 staff members taking out the food to the customers and add more pick-up lines.
I will not use the Clicklist feature anymore and I will not recommend it again. I gave a great review the first time I used it, only stating that the 15-20 minute wait was a bit annoying. But this time, waiting 2 hours in the Kroger parking lot and not even having dinner for my family when I got home at 7:30pm was extremely annoying!
I use Clik List to make out my shopping list so I can go from aisle to aisle quickly and not spend anymore time in the store than necessary due to covid. I used to print out the shopping list showing the aisle number which let me get in and out in about 20 minutes. Now suddenly, the aisle numbers are wrong on the website and I spent over an hour last time searching each aisle for the items I needed. Not good when you have employee's and customers without masks on. I shop at the Richmond KY store and have notified both Kroger office and the store management to no avail.
