customer service
I was at a Krogers located 11701 S Sam Houston Prkwy E Houston, Tx. 77089 and as I approached a register, the cashier (Oscar) said Hello to the hispanic woman and teen ahead of me. As I approached, he said nothing. I was ok with that since I didnt say anything either (lacking Krogers customers satisfaction), but as I finished paying and awaiting my receipt, Oscar decides to answer the Krogers phone without excusing himself or simply handing over my receipt. Oscar felt the desire to hold my receipt hostage while causally carrying on a conversation over the phone and there was another customer behind me. So as he did that annoying action, I started to ring the bell that was on the counter at the register. I never stopped ringing it, until a man approached the register I was attending. Oscar FINALLy hands over my receipt and of course I snatched it and walked out. I totally feel bad for ignoring the manager, but I called Krogers and spoke with the same manager and explained my situation to him and he kindly yet deeply apologized for Oscars lack of customer satisfaction.
I went to another Krogers after leaving that one due to not having an item in stock. The employees at the second Krogers located near Wallisville were super energetic and made me smile. Thanks Wallisville Krogers!
customer service
It was one of my first times visiting this Kroger in Stockbridge and a few of my friends and even parents warned me about a very rude young lady. When I entered the store I saw nothing but lovely faces but towards th end when I came to the cashier, coincidentally I think I came across her. She was very careless and rude about the products and offended me by using curse words towards me. She later reached out and smacked my hand top. First she denied to identify herself but later she finally confirmed that her name was Gabriella Watkins
management
7/18/17 we went in to Kroger's as we always do and was looking for some stuff when a lady come us and asked if she could help us with something we said no that we where fine thank you.later threw are shopping we had bumped in to her again this time we did need her help she told us that there was just one of her and that she would get someone to help me she was going on break now.no one ever showed up so we found someone else to help.she was management her name was Amy akers don't know what went wrong from the last time we bumped in to her but it was a big difference I thought it was very rod but guess we all have bad days god bless...I think she is a new person because we've never seen her in there before
equal opportunity employer
Kroger is not an equal opportunity employer they so claim to be. You will go far in the company if you are a) male b) a favorite or c) Caucasian. Kroger is gender bias to a high degree. Don't believe me? Ask my 7+ years of experience with the company where they refused to work with me because of my disability. I've been held back, belittled, customer/coworker harassed, coworker/coworker hazed and customer/coworker discriminated against due to my disability. Shame on you Kroger. Shame. . .
After a few customer discrimination harassment issues I'm not holding back any more and getting proper justice. I'm filing every complaint, ethical issue or problem to make them pay for their mistakes. You have made an enemy Kroger. I am no longer the kind, caring, polite, people pleaser individual you once knew. I'm a warped individual you have hollowed out and made empty seeking revenge in politically correct ways. No more holding back. I deserve justice!
dressing availability
this is a frustration for not being able to find Kraft Coleslaw dressing on the shelves of every local food store i have shopped this week (July 34-29).
Is the item discontinued? Available only at Walmart (which I will NEVER shop)?
Where oh where is my coleslaw dressing gone?
I have just been informed that my complaint is too short! Why on earth should I waste more of your time with verbiage when it is pretty clear that my complaint is damn simple: tell me which of the stores in my area (Portland Oregon) carries Kraft Brand Coleslaw Dressing. Of course when I began this process I was not aware that a third party was going to butt in and complicate what ought to be a simple and straightforward proposition. I am the one who is simple I guess, thinking the desire to purchase a product was reason enough to contact you. No, I neeeded to find some horrid foreign substance or bug or rat in my cheese to get your attention. Sorry for my directness and failure to become psychotic over the issue
on an employee ramond working the self check out
I went to kroger at about 11:00 thinking it would be easier boy was I wrong. For one I dont think the guy liked his job. He was mad because I had coupons and told me not to shop this late with coupons. He would get mad when a coupon was giving him trouble and the employee would start cussing about it and how he hated coupons they were just a waist of time, I said well I love to coupon and it takes a little time for me to clip them and get them together to go shopping and all you wanna do is [censor] about them. Also on some of the products I was buying I new I would get Catalina's for so I asked him why they werent printing and he said because its out of paper so I said isnt that your job to replace it he said yeah but I'm not going to. He finally got so mad handed me my coupons back told me to pay for my stuff and come back tomorrow to get my money back from my coupons. So I paid $66.81 when it should of been $37.81. So Im very upset that I gotta go back to get my $30 kroger owes me.
gas station
I was in MY car gas pump and gas door was on passenger side I made sure I pulled into a pump away from all the other pumps sat in my car to finish smoking . Gas station attendant knocked on my window told me to put my cigarette out! I said I'm almost finished I will when I'm done . He stood beside my car hands on his hips and started dating now now now now louder and louder . I finished smoking put it in MY ashtray got out to get gas he was still standing practically on my car staring at me . I said sir you need to replace all these signs bc I'm pretty sure smoking in my car nowhere near a pump isn't what these signs mean . He said there's no smoking on the property that's common sense, stupid ! I said ok Richard I will be making a complaint I spend a lot of money here and won't be harassed . He walked over to another customer and had the customer screaming at me about blowing up the gas station and how stupid I was . I understand not everyone likes smokers but to be harassed while spending my hard earned money isn't what I choose to do. I pumped my gas and he was still going around to customers telling them I was smoking while pumping gas which I was not . This is the second time the same attendant has approached me and completely acted completely out of line ... I heard one woman say that he had approached well you do know the chances are very slim that the gas station will blow up especially if she's in her car! Not acceptable and I will not be shopping or spending my money at Kroger and be treated like this . Sincerely Susan
customer service
I don't understand how a person who is disrespectful and prejudice against hispanics continues to have a job at Krogers. I understand people have a right to feel and think as they pleased but when you are at your job all your feelings and thoughts must be put aside. I have first hand experienced and have witness the disrespectfulness and judgemental looks of the cake decorator, Robin. I really do hope that someone will give their attention to this matter. I love Krogers but it has been a discomfort for myself and others to shop here when a person like her works there. Store 12434 TX-249, Houston, TX 77086
steak
Date: 7/27/17
Contact # [protected]
My wife purchased three Angus steaks at my local Kroger, After we cooked them I found two hairs in mine, also there was more fat than meat. I called Kroger, they ask me to return them. We had already eaten the ones that had fat, we trimmed it off. She wasn't very friendly, I told her I guess since I can't bring them back, there is nothing you can do. We do all of our shopping there and usually spend over $200 a month including our medicine. I have never had any problems in the past, we have been a customer for many years. My wife and I were very disappointed with this situation. The total was $38.53, I spent a total of $70.19 during this visit. Thank you for your time.
customer service complaint
I want to make a complaint about Teri who was checking me out at the register. She was very rude to me because I placed my Kroger Plus card on the conveyor belt. I did this because I always forget to hand the clerk my Kroger plus card in able to receive discounted prices. I shop at Kroger's with my 1 year old son, and he likes to grabs things while waiting in line. Therefore most of my attention is focusing on him while the I'm at the register. I come to Kroger's to buy groceries, not to be lectured and be disrespected by their employees in public and especially not in front of my child. This incident took place on 7/27 at 4:33pm.
cashier
07-27-17
Kroger six forks rd Raleigh, NC 27609
Around 1pm
Cashier (black male) in self checkout was very rude and would not accept my coupons. All my coupons were valid. He stated that i could only use 1 coupon. I told him per the policy it states up to 5 like coupons. He called the store manager and he agreed with him. Per Kroger's policy i was correct. I have been a customer with Kroger for many years and i hate that i had to experience this issue. It seems to me that this cashier just did not want to take out the time and scan my coupons. This is his job and i feel that i was treated poorly as a customer. I have not had any issues with any other cashiers before. I am requesting that this particular cashier as well as the store manager to be made aware of the coupon policy. Also that the cashier be corrected on his attitude toward customers who shop there all the time.
a very serious wrong had been committed on me
This goes back to an incident that started in march 2016 and I would like to discuss this matter with someone who cares about what I have to say. I have spoke with several people. One being keith daily director of media. He promised to get back with me in three days no matter what he said. And that was 5/22/2017 then I talked with a kim who said she would help me and nothing since june 6th. I nor my family has shopped at qfc north bend wa because of the way I have been treated. I should go public because no one from kroger seems to care about how their customers are treated. Please contact me [protected]
jalapeno cheddar bread
You use to make this bread in the fresh bread area of my local Kroger. It was wonderful! It made the best grilled cheese sandwiches as well as other sandwiches. It had just a little kick of Jalapeño flavor and heat and was a great way to add cheese to a sandwich without adding the fat of the cheese! I really wish you would bring it back, it was my favorite. I'm sure others have felt the same way!
You stopped carrying this white cheese product when you did the last store "reshuffle the products and confuse everyone" re-arrangement move! Walmart carries this same brand as well as ANOTHER BRAND! I'll shop there if you want to push me away. They have 2 white queso products. You now have none.
Please bring it back!
I've lived in my home 6 yrs and you must LOVE frustrating your customers and employees, as somebody in corporate has done this 3-4 times in 6 yrs! What's the deal, are you having that much employee turnover for the one position that makes this decision or are you passing around this task and everyone thinks their way is the best way? Could you please leave it this way for at least 5 yrs? Either that or provide a customer service center available for ALL THE HOURS the store is open? The computer the employee has access to NEEDS TO HAVE ALL ITEMS AVAILABLE IN THE STORE AND IT'S LOCATION (aisle, section (cereals, snacks, baking etc) It's so frustrating to come in, not find something and nobody knows where it is, if you EVEN HAVE IT or able to access information about availability or location within the store! Last time I was there, 3 people couldn't help me find something and after the "I don't know" DID NOT MAKE ANY MORE EFFORT to help me!
PLEASE resolve ALL of these complaints or hire me to fix it.
outsourced coupon company (catalina) failure to print coupon
This is an email (along with proof of purchase) that I had to send to Catalina because my coupon did not print. Instead of being able to use the "printed coupon" for a subsequent purchase, which I had all intentions on doing, I was handed this inconvienience. Had I not of already purchased the formula and not having time to deal with the "return hassle" in your stores, I would have returned it and spent my money elsewhere. I think I will stick to auto ship on Amazon for my formula and diaper needs. The only reason that I brought myself to go ahead with this purchase is because I had an enfamil coupon that was about ready to expire that I wanted to use instead of waiting. My orders with Amazon are never wrong, my discount/sale promotions are taken out at time of monthly auto ship charge and if I want to return something, it's almost easier than dealing with returns inside your stores. Come on Kroger! Get it together! Please read the following as it pertains to your chain.
The following was sent to Catalina and reads:
Please let me know if there is anything else you may need. Also, what is the time frame that I can expect this coupon? It is very upsetting and a major inconvienience that this happened? I'm not sure why, when a coupon fails to print, that the store cannot honor their sale promotions in house? Instead, you are given an inconvienience request to "call this number and they will have to mail you a coupon" said Kroger employee, "we need you to respond within 48 hours to an email and either send a picture or fax your receipt within 48 hours"- stated a Catalina company representative. If a company is not able or does not have the capabilities to honor or "make right" their sales promotions, whether it be because of their own company/employees faults/equipment failures or the faults of an outsourced coupon promotional company, then they should not have "sales" that give a printed, or lack there of in my case, coupon for future use. This is one of the many reasons why I usually choose not to shop sales promotions at Kroger when they have the "printed coupons for future use" sales. This is not the first time that my coupon has failed to print but I have never wanted to deal with the hassle of retrieving an "owed" coupon. I obviously have a small child, given the formula purchase (attaching you proof in this e-mail), and I in no way have the extra time to fulfill requests like this! If I should happen to find an extra few (very, very few) minute span of spare-time throughout the day, it surely isn't focused on this "showing proof of purchase" inconvienience but rather focusing on myself by catching an over due nap (while baby is napping), being reminded of the luxury (pre-motherhood) of taking a shower longer than 3 minutes without some small little being crying because he/she is wanting to eat or wanting to be held or has the dreaded dirty nappy that needs changed. I'm telling you if this just so you may understand the reason why I am e-mailing you at 1a.m. (Just so I can be in the demandful 48 hour window). Kroger wants to "know how they are doing?" according the "printed" receipt and this is one survey request that I will definitely be fullfilling.

produce
This is now my second incident with rotten produce from Kroger. The first happened with a red bell pepper. I brought it home from the store, cut into it that very day, only to find mold! I was in disbelief! Same sort of thing happened tonight with an eggplant. I picked up two from the store on my way home, cut into them tonight, only to discover they were both insanely rotten! It is disguising that these products are accepted into the store and put on the shelf for people to buy. The store is 25 minutes from my house. I will be going in tomorrow to complain. But I am now left without food to cook tonight. Kroger used to be mh favorite place to shop. I will now be looking for a new grocery store to take my business.
expectations of management and associates work ethics
My family has shopped at the above addressed store for over 25 years and I have watched the decline of hired associates steadily regress
I have watched the management manage themselves and not the associates
Negative Behaviors observed over the last 5 years:
Associates on their cell phones verses working ( eliminating cell phones on the working floor) would increase stock levels drastically and bring in repeat business
Nothing more insulting that to be walking down an aisle that has no Van Camp 16 oz porknbeans and an associate is on their cell phone
Reschedule shift starting times for associates stocking so the shelves are stocked to capacity when the store opens or shortly there after
Associates speaking to customers verses ignoring customers and talking to themselves
Associates thanking customers for the business
Hire what the geographic censers indicate are the majority of the local population over staffing with the incorrect minority creates challenges that create additional costs to stores and loss of sales
Management needs to hold daily meetings creating an enthusiasm among the team
You had a manager that every morning had a meeting with key dept heads/leads whatever title you call them, the best the store has ever looked from a customer point of view, well stocked associates moving with a purpose but that no longer is present
why
Your local management has no skill set to create a team ----they don't know how other than through intimidation and then upper management ponders why so many union grievances
What ever happened to training management on how to get the most out of an associate, one start would be setting goals for all, publicizing then, talking about them and celebrating when accomplished
Your success is how you manage your managers and how they manage their people and how the people manage their customers
I recognize these short coming because I have managed such situations within the lower 48 for 50 years going in and out of centers pulling them out of a disastrous situation all because of management shortcomings, lack of leadership, follow through and setting of expectations
Sounds easy but boy can you be fooled
Kroger you are being fooled
the condition of my local kroger store.
We moved from Lawrenceville Georgia to Jonesboro Georgia and the difference is undeniable! Your Joneboro store displays rotten food out of date regularly! The store is being badly mismanaged by someone who has no idea how to manage himself non the less a store! We pulled him to the side and asked showed him all the rotten produce and he had the audacity to see he wouldn't buy it neither! This poorly managed store and it's issues has been going on far to long already and if it doesn't change soon the homeowners of Oakley Township will boycott your store and publicize your double standard treatment of a black community! No community deserves to be treated like your company has treated ours! We deserve a real store manager who's capable of keeping the store properly employed, run, and stocked! We'll be getting the news and the health department involved! It's ashamed we have to go through all this just to get your company to be professional and do what it's supposed to! Steven Borders
service and out of stock
On July 16th I was shopping your store in Hebron Ohio. I am a regular at this store and have to tell you the remodel has really been a bad experience.
That aside, my complaint is this.
You advertised Ice cream on sale to celebrate Ice Cream day. I went to the frozen food section and found many customers waiting and the case empty. I then went to look for the ice cream sandwiches, empty there too. I waited, waited, waited and waited. Someone said there was a truck being unloaded and it would be there soon. Waited, waited, waited and waited. Nothing.
I finally gave up and left.
It seems to me that when you advertise an item you should have it on hand. I am very upset and frustrated at the way your staff handled this. What a displeasure it was to shop Kroger.
I have been a long time customer and feel you owe rainchecks to those who experience this type of situation. How hard can it be to order product to cover your anticipated sales. Lousy execution on your part. So, instead of having customers leave feeling like they got a good deal and appreciative, you have them leave upset, pissed off and not wanting to come back.
NOT A GOOD WAY TO TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS. What a joke. If I had no product that was on sale, I could give it away for free.
Given a choice I will not be shopping again over this and the way it was handled.
Yours truly,
John J. Allen

the florist service to customer
I walked in to the store to buy my mom a flower Bouquet, it's her birthday today. I was look at the rack but some of them getting bad which is i understand because it wasn't fresh anymore because it's fr yesterday. But then i walked to the counter where the florist making the new arrangements. I looking at them and have one in my hand that i about to pay. This lady (Stephanie) the florist asked me if i need something, i told her that i picking the color and she walked towards me and just grabbed the bouquet from my hand and put that back in the basket. She said she still working on that. I don't understand what "still working on that" even the bouquet is ready and have the price tag on. I ended up bought the old one. Such a rude treat that i got. I just want the fresh flower Bouquet for my mom. If i had enough time to go other store, i would have the fresh one and not get the experience like this !
unable to use accrued fuel points
My store receipts indicate that I still have 235 fuel points to use for the month of June. However, when I went to fill up at the Smith's Food and Drug in Santa Fe, NM last Thursday, the only option I was given was to use my July fuel points. One of the reasons I choose to shop at Smith's is because of the fuel points I receive when I shop. These days every penny I can save counts.
I want to know how I can use my $.20 per gallon discount before the points expire on July 31, 2017. I am pretty unhappy about having to go through this hassle to claim what I have paid for - and been promised! My card number is: [protected] 1
