i had bonded leather sofa before and after some time some cracks in leather starts popping up and then i thought i will not buy bonded leather sofa.i went to bad boy and salesperson told me that if i buy bonded leather sofa with comprehensive warranty that problem be solved.he told me if there be any cracks or leather starts coming off it will be taken care by comprehensive warranty.so i bought new bonded leather sofa with comprehensive warranty.now i have some cracks in sofa and customer care are saying bonded leather sofa cracks are not covered under warranty.

My boyfriend and I were looking for reviews on a TV we just bought at Bad Boy Furniture in the Whitby Mall and discovered that we paid an extra $137.50 compared to Best Buys price. I thought "Nooo Body beats Bad Boy?"
When I asked what was the best price I could get on the TV they were firm on the ticket price and the sales lady out right stated that we wouldn't get it cheaper anywhere else. Not only that but in a final sales attempt she said had just checked the computer and it was priced incorrectly and was actually $100 MORE and she would sell it to us for the ticketed price leading us to believe we were getting an even better deal and ultimately making our final decision to buy the TV.
To confirm this I tried to find it on their web site but it was no where to be found. I was re directed to shop.ca where I found the TV on their supplied by Bad Boy for $100 LESS than the price we paid in store. on top of that the delivery was FREE.

finance company lost my payment
I am disgusted with the financing company that bad boy is dealing with. I had paid (Online banking) to the account number for the amount of $1709.00 and the financial company is saying they have not received the payment. I have my bank statement proving the funds were debited my account to my bad boy account number... So where did the money go? The customer service department is horrific. My account number is [protected]. The csr said on the phone 'sometimes our systems get crossed and the funds go missing'. Oh really? So that is a company I do not want to deal with. There I am cancelling my card with bad boy and will never shop there again. Get this rectified or I am calling the police and getting a lawyer engaged. I am trying to pay off the balance and it is not even due. I was told to call my back and get the full transaction details and fax it to them. This is unheard and takes up to six weeks. See attached proof of payment and the account details of bad boy credit.

There was a cheaterville post that was removed from the original author and this caldancer robot took the defamation of the guy and posted him alll over the Internet. There is no one to call. It is a spam robot that picks it up by computer and post it then you can make comments on it. It is horrible. When someone removes something this robot continues to post making it impossible to take off the web. Do not post or biog a biog is a web log a permanent record remember that when you post anything it will always be there.

I bought a two piece sofa set from bad boy on september 2009 with a "bad boy solid gold furniture protection plan", the cost of all of which was around $2700 rounding up. The "bad boy solid gold furniture protection plan" is supposed to cover "rips, tears and burns" as stated on pamphlet that was given to me. A few years ago, (Sometime in 2012) I started noticing that both sofa's now have rips and tears in them. Upon noticing these, I immediately contacted bad boy and was told to contact another company for the repairs. I did so and apart from a few email messages, they did nothing. After being frustrated with this, I decided to go to the store where I purchased the furniture. After being laughed at by a salesman, I left my contact details at the store along with a copy of my receipt and my registration number for their protection plan and was told that someone would contact me regarding this issue. It has been more than three months since I visited the store and more than nine months since I initially made the complaint to their service department and still nothing is being done. They are probably laughing at me now for all I know.

The springs on the sofas have broke we are trying to use the solid gold warranty that we paid 179$ for them to say it does not apply. there is no fine prints regarding the matter and the salesperson mentioned that the gold warranty covered EVERYTHING for 5 years. I don't know how this people stay in business but they will hear from me in court

Purchased a 3 PC Frigidaire home appliance at the finch store located in Toronto in 2010. I also purchased Bad Boys Solid Gold 5 YR warranty for an additional fee. Had no problems with any of the appliances, until now. My fridge/freezer is not keeping a cool and cold temperature. I called the Solid Gold warranty on Dec 16th -2013 and told me that a service technician from Home appliance repair will contact me. I did mention that this is a fridge and my food will spoil. A service technician from HAR did call me on Dec 18th in the morning for a service windows of 2 hrs. The service technician showed 45 minutes late. After looking at it he told me that the coil is clogged and they would need to order a new one. Keep in mind this is a fridge/freezer which was noted that this is rush because Christmas is 8 days away, and I need to feed my family. I called the next day on Dec 19th as instructed by the service technician at HAR to see if the part would be in and Rachel at HAR told me that they are awaiting for approval from Bad Boy. So I called Bad Boy to see what is the status, waited 20 mins TWICE to speak to someone in the service department. They told me the account manager Rachel is not in and cannot provide me with an answer. In the meantime my food is spoiling, I can't feed my family and we had to resort to take out. I was notified via email that the part has been approved on the Dec 23rd! Yes people the day before Christmas! The warranty was paid in full, 3 years ago and I am awaiting for an APPROVAL! I waited 8 days for an approval! Since then all my food has spoiled and my wife and I are spending a fortune on take out food for our family. The Service Rep at Bad Boy offered me a $50 gift certificate to spend at BAD BOY. How insulting and rude. I can't believe what this world has come too. You can't find a honest business that still cares about there customers. As of Jan 2-2014 My fridge is still out of order and BAD BOY AND HAR have not claimed responsibility. I will posting this all over the net and if not compensation is offered I will be filing a legal small claims case.

Based on the complaints I have read, it is very clear the biggest complaint by far is the total lack of customer service from bad boy. It is one thing when things occur whether they be human error or a comedy of errors as long as you are willing to be accountable for your mistakes. Bad boy does not believe in this philosophy let alone their salepeople.
I dealt with sam at the weston store and you would have thought he was a throwback to the old stereotypic used car salepeople because what I got from him was platitudes and condescension. When I sent the company a written complaint by e-mail, they did not even respond. I have never had that happen before so that tells me loud and clear that the lastman family does not stand by their ads and in fact they are more reprehensible than I could have ever imagined. How can you expect their salespeople to be any better - they are as slimy as the lastmans because if you cannot at least safeguard your own ethics, you have sold your soul to the devil. Sam certainly appears he has done so for 29 years.
Trust me when I say the lastma family could care less about anything here so if you really want to get your message across you have to do as you already done and make sure that anyone who you encounter knows it too - that is all that will make a difference. Just as so many businesses have gone after so long, so can bad boy and it will not be for poor business revenues, it will be for having no scruples.

I bought a couch and chair at bad boy and specifically asked if it could be returned. The salesman re-assured me it would be not problem. When I called back to return the chair that's when I found out that they would not take it back. That week I must have spoken to about 5 different people with nothing resolved. Their customer service is the worst - they didn't even want to deal with me - I am out $500.00 and not even offered a credit note. I would never step foot in that store again. I wish I would have read these reviews before hand.

We purchased a brand new sofa bed from Bad Boy on Aug 8, 2013. The sales bill # was B102628. We waited for more than 6 weeks for the delivery. However this wasn't the problem. The problem was when we received it we found that it was of poor quality, ie. the sewing was bad and the threads were hanging loose. Further the leather on one cushion was bubbly. We made a complaint to Bad Boy [protected]) on Oct 2, 2013, and spoke with Renza. A few days later a representative sent by Bad Boy showed up to investigate the problem. He agreed with the problem and then left. Two weeks have since passed, and there was no call from Bad Boy to advise us what action will be taken. So we called Bay Boy to enquire when action will taken. We called the [protected] number a few times and finally we spoke with a person called Depo. He couldn't tell us what action will be taken. When we hung up, we had a feeling nothing would be done. From this experience, we knew we had been ripped off. The company was just not responsive, and would not stand by their products. We had purchased also a 5 year extended warranty package. But when we called the number, the phone line did not work...
So to everyone out there JUST BE WARE... "BAD BOY" as the name implies is literally that. THEY DONT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCTS OR THEIR NAME. We were completely saddened by the experience and extremely disappointed.

I bought the sofa in July last year, but I contacted customer service staff in February, because the zipper of the sofa cushion is broken and needs to be repaired. Until now, no one has contacted us for repair. I need an explanation
Bad boys in whitby, ontario is the same as many complaints i have read about. We caught their manager laying on one of the couches there, talking on his phone, instead of helping his sales reps. We bought a couch a year ago that roke less than one month after purchasing, and then it took 7 months to get bad boy to do anything or even answer their phones. They finally told us to go back to bad boy, find a couch of equal value of which they did not have), ended up having to pay 300.00 more and lost the extended warranty on our first couch which was less than a year old, and would have had to pay another 400.00 for a new warrNty on the new couch! We ha e tried to contact head office and they keep referring us back to the store, last call told uz we would hear something within 48 hours, its been over 3 weeks and nothing yet! Terrible store, unacceptable service, uncaring management, and most importantly do not back up what they sell! We are not giving up! They will pay for the terrible service we encountered with them, even if we have to take them to court.

damage to home during delivery
Bad boys delivered a sofa set and did damage to my doorway. You can only see damage when you are coming into house. Can't see it from inside. The head of delivery department called with driver there cause the driver is claiming to know about damage and saying it was there before hand they are not taking responsibility. Of course driver would know where damage is when they did it. What a dumb thing to say. I will never buy from bad boy again. Beware if they do damage they will not fix it.

worst service & extended warranty ever
On December 29, 2012, I purchased a bedroom set from Brampton's Bad Boy Superstore. The product was delivered (late but it came mind you), and the delivery guys dropped it off, did not open the packaging, did not inspect the furniture, did not set it up - what was I paying for?! To top it off, the bed rails were BROKEN. I immediately contacted service - and they informed me that nothing could be done about it that day, and new ones would be ordered. It took 3 WEEKS for these to come. Again, after having to build my new bed and sleep in it broken with my mattress on the floor - I was left with bed rails, to disassemble my bed, replace the parts, and fix on my own. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE TO START. Not only that - but the replacement parts came BROKEN. Surprise... surprise... Again I called and new rails were sent, the next week this time. I unwrapped them when they arrived, and noticed that there appeared to be cracking in these pieces, but was assured that this was not the case, and that was how the bed rails were supposed to look. 2 months later, those "non-existent cracks" - cracked, leaving me with broken bed rails YET AGAIN. I called the service department on June 11, 2013 to complain, as thank god I purchased the Extended Warranty Plan, and was told these pieces were back ordered, would be in within 1 week, and that I would receive a service call. I have called several times since then, with no return to my call as of yet. I called Service AGAIN - July 16, 2013 - and have been told that these parts are still on back order. Maybe they would come by the end of the month - but there was no guarantee. This is the THIRD TIME this has happened to the same piece on my BRAND NEW $5000 bedroom set. The Service agent I spoke to (RoseMarie) was RUDE, and REFUSED to allow me to speak to a Supervisor, a Manager, or anyone else. She would not give me an email address, or phone number, and FINALLY gave me a name - Wendy - who never returns my phone calls anyways. I asked for them to take the bed back since they can not fix it properly - they refuse. Now I see that others have received the same service as myself! I wish I had have known and seen this website before purchasing ANYTHING with Lastman's Bad Boy Superstore! Working within the college system in HOUSING, I give recommendations to students moving out of residences ALL OF THE TIME. With your brand new store in Brampton, where my furniture was purchased - allow me to express my extreme disgust with your Customer Service, Complaint Policy and Return of Phone Calls - Let alone fixing your product - I will NEVER recommend your furniture and store, and will tell everyone I know across Ontario within the College Sector - NOT TO SHOP AT THIS COMPANY EVER. Besides... it's not like they'd ever call you back if you a have question... let alone a problem...

Good Luck! I am STILL waiting for my bed to be fixed after numerous calls and complaints! Their final offer was a new bed bc i've had 2 service visits with incorrect replacement pieces - BUT - the bedroom set I have purchased has now been discontinued, and will not match my set I purchased together. NOT acceptable. With the request to replace the entire set to match, they have "miraculously" found more replacement parts. Let's see how long this lasts, or better yet, are they just trying to buy time and ride out my extended warranty purchase...

I recently read an article about names and how it influences individuals and never thought it was quite true until my experience with BADboy, really bad boys. I bought several items worth over 3k and were promised to be delivered in 4 weeks. Some came as promised, the rest after 6 and some yet to be delivered. Payment was done right on with my credit card and when I complained to their Manager in Burlington, he sleeps most of the time and never shows up in the store. Nice work ... watch out for those who go there, pay a little more but have peace of mind elsewhere. Shan.

There’s my first and the last time I made purchase in Lastman's Bad Boy!
I will never come back to the store anymore as It created a such a bad reputation of non-reliable store!
1. Pure Delivery Service:
I purchased a sectional from Lastman's Bad Boy and got it on time, but – all boxes were open due to the sizein order to insert the sectional inside the house. Opened, but all pieces (without installed legs) were left outside on driveway when it was wet snowing . Is that how the product has to be delivered to the customer, do my kids have to sit on something that has been unsanitized outside?
2. Manufacturing Defects:
5 (five) manufacturing defects in one small sectional.
3. Promises:
I came to the store on same day to complain about delivery and defects and was told to send all pictures to the Customer Service and they will respond in 48 hours and send me a technician.
No one called me in 48 hour! and No one called me in 96 hours!
I decided to call and leave a message as their voicemail available 24/7 and they must return the call within 48 business hours.
Again, No one called me in 48 hour!
I called the branch and a very nice lady promised me to contact customer service in order to ask them to call me next day.
Again, No one from customer service called me in 24 hour!
Then I called the branch again and the same very nice lady promised me to contact customer service in order to ask them to call me next day.
Again, No one from customer service called me in the next 24 hour!
Then, I started to call Customer Service. Unfortunately, it’s not easy to catch someone over there as they probably too busy with complains!
Finally, I spoke with their representative that sent a technician to see defects of my sectional.
The technician sad that it’s impossible to fix and Customer Service representative will call me in 48 hours.
4. Lies:
Finally, I called to the Customer Service to see if they have not forgot about me …
They promised me to call next week and let me know if they will fix or replace the sectional.
They are liars as no one called me next week, and no one called the week after the next week as well...
Then I called again to ask why no one called me as has been promised to update me regarding replacement …
The guy told me we don’t know yet and again… promised: “We will call you next week.”
They are liars as no one called me next week again, and no one called the week after the next week again as well...
Then I called again to ask why no one called me as has been promised me twice, to update me regarding replacement …
That time I spoke with another lady and she told they will call me next week as well, I asked her :
“Can you promise me?”, and she told : “Maybe not next week, probably in two weeks”.
Such a nice lady, she even doesn’t know when they will call me in spite of knowing I have that bad product 1 month already
and my family has to suffer from uncomfortable not filed cushions and not assembled sectional in the middle of the family room….
Of course,
again, no one from customer service called me in the next 2 (two) weeks !
Can you imagine 1 month of waiting for promised calls and listening to promises that actually are lies as no one did what promised!
Finally, I came to the store again to talk with a manager and now it looks that they stopped to manufacture these sectionals and I left with nothing …
I threw out my old sectional and didn’t get a new one …..
What should I do know ? I probably should file the suit to Provincial Court by myself and get a good reimbursement from these Lastman's Bad Boy…

To whom it may concern,
I’m writing to inform you of the extremely poor customer service I have received at Bad Boy Dundas/Mississauga location.
Bad Boy is quick to take my money but does not deliver on the service they promise!
I purchased a mattress a few weeks ago (end of February, 2013 - Sales#d275268), received it yesterday morning (March 5th, 2013) and the delivery people would not take the old mattress away as promised on purchase day.
After the delivery was made, they refused to take the old mattress requesting $25, which I did not have at the time. I immediately got on the phone with the number provided on my bill (which I called the week before confirming the time they will arrive and that they will take away my old mattress). The person I spoke to at that number [protected] ) told me there is nothing they can do for me; that I had to call the store I purchased the mattress at. She then proceeded to give me the number of the Dundas location [protected] ). There I spoke to a sales person who connected me to the manager; Pat. I explained the situation to Pat, however he did not clearly understand the issue – the sales person forgot to add the removal of the old mattress to our receipt; and he proceeded to blame us for this mistake.
I also explained to Pat that we are in a condo and they have strict elevator regulations so we needed to have the mattress delivered and taken away within a certain time frame (9AM-12PM – as previously discussed with the distribution manager the week before). Pat was not only rude in his responses to me but he wasn’t listening or understanding anything I was saying. He kept repeating that I did not have this written on the receipt therefore it is my problem. I did not accept this answer as it is not my job to do the salesperson’s job, so he said he would call Mario (the sales person) as well as the head office and see what he can find out. I requested he call me as soon as possible as I could not dispose of the mattress on my own and I could only use the elevator from 9AM-12PM, so we were running out of time.
When Pat called back he basically told us that we are liars and it is our problem now.
This was such a small issue and an innocent human mistake on the sales persons/Bad Boy’s end which could have been solved so simply and respectfully; however the people working there dealt with it in such a rude, disgusting and offensive manner that I cannot believe a well established company allows such behaviour towards its valued customers.
In the end, I had to take the whole day off of work dealing with these disrespectful people you call your representatives. I needed to beg them for a service which was supposed to be offered to me with my purchase “free of charge”. Just to be told to deal with it myself!
I am deeply upset with the way I was treated and cannot imagine that there is no appropriate customer service at Bad Boy.
I will never again shop at Bad Boy and I will ensure that anyone I have ever spoken to or will speak to knows of this horrible service I have received.
I am also planing to inform Mr. Mel Lastman about this unpleasant event so that he is aware of how his employees treat customers.
delivery delayed multiple times
We placed an order in store on Dec 24, 2012 for a sofa set. The estimated delivery time stated on our bill was approx 4 weeks. However, the salesman said he will try for mid-Jan (i.e. 3 weeks). We thought we went to an apparently reputed company called Lastman's Bad Boy (Mississauga location), but wait until you read further.
Here's how the timeline of their delivery estimate looks so far:
0) Initial delivery estimate: 3 weeks at best (salesman) / approx 4 weeks (bill).
1) First revision: In mid Jan, not surprisingly we did not receive the delivery, so we checked the status with the same Mississauga location and were then told Jan end (i.e. 5 weeks from order).
2) Second revision: On Jan 30, again not receiving the delivery, we checked the status with them and were then told Feb 1st week (i.e. 6 weeks from order). The person rudely said the bill says "approx". My understanding it approx means +/- couple of days.
3) Third revision: On Jan 30, we promptly got a call back from the salesman who betrayed us in the first place, and this time he said Feb end (i.e. 9 weeks from order). The salesman also rudely hung up on us when we pushed back.
We finally called the Mississauga location one more time on Jan 31. They still said Feb end (i.e. 9 weeks from order) and also said they can not do anything about the delay. When asked they did not put us through the store manager (stating they are on the floor) and when we said this issue will be escalated to Blayne Lastman and his office, the lady who we were speaking with said "go ahead".
Not to mention, the phone attendant at the Mississauga location kept saying "Sears, how may I help you" at frequent intervals, while I was waiting for my delivery status. Even the salesman addressed the Lastman store as "Brick" a couple of time when we met him on Dec 24.

sectional couch nightmare
I purchased a sectional from bay boy furniture on dixie road on saturday october 13th after calling and inquiring about a flyer I had received earlier in that week. I noticed how great the prices were and that they had the same products as their competitors. I called and spoke to a customer service rep. And was please to find out that the sale was at all locations and I would not need to travel far. I enquired about their delivery to my address, asked for the sales rep name and advised I would be in to see him on the saturday. As promised I showed up on the saturday ask for the sales rep and to my surprise I asked for the right person, it was him. I told him that I was the lady that had called a couple of days prior and I was ready to purchase the sectional I had asked him about. He wrote out my contract and told me great news, they would be able to deliver my couch to me on sunday october 14th. I was ecstatic as I work 2 jobs and it just so happened to be my only day off that week. As promised they called me 7 am sunday morning and my couch was in my living room by 8 am. I understood there would be some assembly and that was fine. When I started to unpack the couch with my boyfriend we noticed that the bottom of couch lining was ripped in certain areas, to be honest we thought this was normal as that’s where all the cushions were stored, we didn’t really pay mind to that, then while we unpacked the chaise lounge there was a 2 inch cut down the back of the couch on the material. Then while trying to screw in the ottoman legs, one screw snapped. I was furious, I immediately picked up the phone and began calling the location where purchased. It was sunday so they had not opened the doors yet nor turned on their phones, finally around 10:15 am a woman answered the phone, she said the usually front desk lady was not in and too call back in 20minutes. I waited until 11am to call back, when I did a lady answered and told me quickly, to call the brampton location; I was confused as I did not purchase the couch from there. I did as she requested to have a gentleman from there tell me they do not deal with customer service and I would need to contact there customer service line. I called a third place, only to have to leave a message, my name, my number, my sales order number. There answering machine advised messages would be returned within 24hours. I called back a few more times that day and it was just a voicemail system. I finally figured they were not open on the sunday and would try my luck on the monday. I waited until approximately 12pm and did not receive a message, as there voicemail system they would call back in 24 hours. Lie. I called the customer service number back and finally got a live person, he asked me all my information and even went as far to give me the name of the & ldquo;technician” that would be calling me within 48 hours to set up an appointment to come inspect the unit purchased. I asked if this was normal, as it was not caused by the deliver guys, I would have noticed damage on the outside of the packaging, he said yes this is bad boys policy to inspect the unit first. I was not pleased, but I felt calm knowing that with a couple of days I would have someone come see it. Monday oct 15th went by I did not receive a phone call from the technician. Tuesday october 16, 2012 came again, I called the store where I purchased my sectional from and asked to speak with the manager, the woman who answered the phone said, can I help you with anything I asked her about their policies and advised her of what had happened, she told me miss I will have someone call you from customer service today. I told her I was not happy and disappointed with their procedures. Tuesday oct 16th went by, still no phone call from their technician.
Wednesday oct 17th has now come, I called the store and asked to speak with the manager the same lady who answered asked me what it was about, I told her I was the same girl she talked to yesterday and she told me someone would call me and they did not. She said & ldquo;yes I remember you, I told customer service to call you yesterday they didn’t?” I answered with a no! She said give me 10 minutes and I will call you back and also have the technician call you. She called me back as promised and told me don’t worry a technician will be in touch with you very soon and will set up an appointment. Close to 5 hours have passed again, and I have yet to get a call back. I am beyond frustrated, upset and disappointed. I should have gone with my gut feeling, and gone with one of their competitors. Lesson learned. Customer service is lacking and they need to be trained, if people are going to have the titles of customer service reps.

account credit card problem
We bought 4000 dollars worth of furniture almost a year ago. We were not happy with some of the products but let it go and paid off our bill in full fully intending to do no more business with that company. We just received a bill in our mail suggesting we owe an annual account credit card fee of 21 dollars. At no time were my wife or I informed that we now had an ongoing account which required an annual fee payment. We would never have agreed to an annual fee type arrangement. I called and explained that we were never informed about a fee that would be charged annually and I was told I had to pay or my credit rating would be affected. Why on earth would I pay my 4000 dollar amount owing and dispute a 21 dollar fee? This is quite an underhanded way to do business and we will not be paying this boguds fee. What are you thoughts on cases like this.

I visited the bad boy showroom and found a mattress set that seemed to be a great deal in terms of price. I decided hastily to purchase it and sat down to write up the paperwork with one of the sales managers. Thankfully the sales manager that I was dealing with was a decent person and wrote on the invoice that I would be able to get my deposit back if the order was cancelled at least two weeks before scheduled delivery. I went back to the store two days later to cancel the order and was told by the girl behind the desk that "all sales are final". I was about to have a fit because I put down a deposit of just over $1000 two days earlier and know that the mattress was not ordered from the factory yet, but then she took the time to read the line that was written by the sales manager that stated that I would be able to get the deposit back so long as the order was not processed and provided at least two weeks notice before delivery. Another really sleazy sales manager was overseeing this exchange and decided to tell me that I was "lucky" that the other manager added that to my invoice. What a joke! He was lucky to have not receive a punch in the face!
I did get my money refunded, but won't make that same mistake twice. If all sales are final it should be more clearly stated. The girl behind the counter just laughed about that and said that "no one would buy anything then". Exactly! Not worth the hassle. You may get a great deal price-wise, but will most likely regret the purchase and headache to get any issues resolved. I wish that I had taken the time to read other customer reviews before making that hasty purchase and wasting time to cancel the order. I also loved how the salesperson followed me around the store like a shadow when he could smell the money, but blew me off completely when I returned to cancel the order. Rude, unknowledgeable salespeople and bad store policies made for a horrible shopping experience. The only saving grace was the one decent sales manager who made up his own policy and allowed me to get my money back.

I had a similar problem with another Company in the UK. They came out and did the "repair"/renovation but charged £40 call out fee!
Still, it's better than the Company winding up so that they don't have to honour these 'ere warranties and Insurance policies. I have lost faith in most companies and also anything to do with finance. They all seem to be crooks.!
