Chris condon is a nasty viscious criminal thug and gangster who has gun and firearm offences and at least 8 serious assault arrests, just to name just a few serious criminal things this viscious nasty criminal Chris Condon has committed. How the Townsville Show Society can employ this brutal, thug, animal is beyond me. this thug-criminal head-case Chris Condon has criminally assaulted lots of innocent people causing actual bodily harm, indeed, one person was "king-hit" and criminally assaulted by Condon over the paltry sum of $2, luckily for the innocent victim it wasnt $100 or maybe Condon would have killed him ... Chris Condon, is just another "king-hit-merchant" and the Townsville Show Society should not employ a thug like Chris Condon... SHAME ON THE TOWNSVILLE SHOW SOCIETY... all the actual physical violence and violent threats etc that have been happening at the Townsville Showgrounds since Chris Condon has been the Manager DOES NOT happen at any other Showground in Australia !

Lastman's Bad Boy cancellation

on April 10 myself and my fiance wen tto bad boy because they were having a good sale where we then purchased a bedroom suite which came with a tv bounus.. this was at the mississauga store on dixie ad dundas when were signed the recepit they told us 2 wks, 2 wks cam and passed i called to see where my stuff was and they then told me the sales person should never have told u 2 wks as its a 2-4 wk policy so they said mid may it will be in it is now mid may i went into the store and they told me to call tomorrow to see if anything had changed i called today and there was now a note on the account saying my stuff wouldnt b in untill june so i was very up set told the lady what i thought she passed me on to someone else who told me that i could come in and choose a different bedroom set then to get there and the manager says no thats not possible so we left went to the brick and found a much better deal with a guarantee delivery the nxt day so we went back to bad by to cancel to find out they will not cancel all sales r final noone told me all sales were final i have never heard so much crock of s**t in my short life buyers please be aware before shoppin at badboy

Lastman's Bad Boy waiting forever

Just be willing to wait a long time when you order furniture. We ordered a kitchen table and chairs at the end of march and were told about 2 weeks it should be in.. well its now the middle of May and it was suppose to come in today but I called and apparently the table came in but no chairs... those wont come for another week. odd that they ship a table with no chairs. So we will see what happens next week, but its very frustrating when you have nothing to eat on! In Badboys defence, this is an issue that we have had with other furniture stores too - The Brick and Sears - especially Sears they really screwed us on our bed that we ordered, as frustrating as it is patience is a requirement when ordering furniture it seems.
People should make sure that they only put a deposit down and not pay in full for issues like final sales - we only put down 50 dollar deposit, the guy said we didnt have to pay in full till we got it however we are picking it up, so luckily we are not screwed that much if it never comes but hopefully it does as I really liked it in the store!

I purchased furniture at Badboys furniture on July 4th 2015 was advised that my items will be delivered on July 31st 2015. this company delivered half of the furniture and could not gave me delivery date for the balance. I had to call them repeatedly for a delivery date. they told me August 7th and then august 11th 2015. I called there head office and they told me that there is no delivery date in the system. I also received my furniture with no instructions
This is the worst furniture company ever, they have no customer service.

Lastman's Bad Boy bait-and-switch

I had the same sort of "surreal" experience just last Friday, when my wife and i were in the vicinity of the Kitchener store... and were curious to see to the newer models.

After about an hour, we had arrived at a "cash-deal" with one of the too-many(?) salespersons. He was making some pretty-good on-the-spot offers... even though we don't really need something new now.

After a short dinner, we returned to that store with the agreed-upon funds... and guess what? That salesperson, Rick Kensie, spun around with his hand over his mouth, exclaiming, "I never said that! But i'll give you a $50 coupon if you buy at the separately-listed prices." (I replied, "What are you laughing at? You're wasting my time!" And his supervisor was of zero help.)

Anyway, the up-shot of all of this is that we went to Marten's Furniture yesterday, also in Kitchener, and bought a new living-room set there... as i felt bad for my wife having been "played" like that at Bad-Boy's. At least we never bought anything there. And why sue over an oral agreement for something which they, in all likelihood, mark-up 4 or 5 times (what they paid for it)... still profiting well, even after almost any court-action outcome, or consumer-protection penalties.

I now recommend Marten's to anyone, especially they who have had similar Bad-Boy experiences. Marten's has regular prices which are half(?) the others, free delivery on EVERY THING in the store, salespersons who "go out of their way" to avoid selling a customer on something he/she really doesn't want or need, and a triple-A Better Business Bureau rating. Derrek was my rep, a very- friendly and honest person. (After my experience at Bad-Boy, i spent about half an hour on line and over the phone to check out some of the fairly-detailed stuff Derrek had told me about their products and policies.)

P.S. Ever heard of an oral agreement? In this case, one which my wife and i both were a party to... regardless of salesman Rick's strange sense of humor, or your own legal inexperience.

Your complaint is the one lacking any real information (about my complaint); and only in support of that company... seemingly as some sort of worker there, as who else would speak in terms of "small to large volumes of business"?

So you have posted this complaint twice..

Your wife was played? How.. maybe she didnt understand the deal to begin with

Bait and Switch? You use a retail related term.. but it doesnt apply here based on your complaint

Sue them? for what? are you kidding me?

Consumer protection? Gawd.. how old are you and have you ever shopped before?

Your comments are clearly of someone who doesnt understand the most basic of business practices. You cannot sue them for anything.. and to further highlight how you are incorrect in your understandings.. the moment you left the store any deal you may have had is null and void unless you have it in writing.

Not being critical of you but when I shop I like to look at the business that I am going to visit to have a good understanding of their business practices.. and you really offer nothing here...

You seem to be advertising another company rather than being honest about your shopping experience

Fairy Tales Start With Once Upon A Time… Sadly This Is Not A Fairy Tale… It Is A Nightmare… And It Started With Bad Boy
So the washer that came with my house sadly leaked water all over my house. So began the search to buy a new washer. After checking ads and deciding on what brand I wanted, I saw my dream washer in the Bad Boy Flyer. On March 29 2008 we went into the London store and purchased the item. A delivery date was set and we left the store.
A few days before the delivery date I was called to tell me that the washer was not in stock, and therefore could not be delivered. So we waited… Close to two months later and a bunch of set up delivery dates and cancelations on them… It arrived!
But I wasn’t happy. My washer tub came in and it was dirty. White, black and brown stains lined the tub. Upon calling Bad Boy to inquire (with a manager) as to why my BRAND NEW machine was dirty, I was told that they test them out before sending them. So I asked… but why is it dirty? The response… they test them out at the manufacture. (Side note: I do not know about you, I have never used a washer and had black, white and brown spots left in it…)
I was getting a little bit upset at this point, so I asked “what do they put in it when they test it?” “It doesn’t matter ma’am why are you so upset about this?” My response: “it is supposed to be a brand new washer. I have to wash out my brand new washer, and to me that does not make sense.” His response: “I think you are over exaggerating and still mad because your product was not instock and could not have been delivered earlier” My response “well yeah, but this is just fueling my anger” and he hung up on me.
I called back and got the London front desk person and explained to her how unbelievably mad I was, and how inappropriate it was for him to hang up on me. She explained to me that she would write him up and talk to someone else about the occurrence. She apologized, and I explained to her that it is not her fault that he was a complete jerk.
So since 2008 I have regularly and consistently used my washer. I do the same amount of laundry every week on the same days.
In the beginning of February while using the washer a very high pitched very annoying noise was emitted from my washer. Upon hearing it I of course stopped the load and looked for my warranties. I attempted to use the washer again (with a much smaller load of only 2 items) the next day only for it to emit the same annoying noise.
On Monday I called the customer service number from my warranty package. I called 2 times that day and both times got an answering machine asking for a huge list of objects. I left all that was asked and waited with my cell. The next day I called again and left a message. Nothing… the third day I called my London store to figure out what was going on. Apparently it generally takes customer service 3 days to respond.
I literally laughed at the woman. I apologized, but made the comment that how is that good customer service when you fail to respond to the customer. If you are that busy then perhaps more staff should be hired. She agreed and passed me through to a manager saying he probably could help me out. He seemed kind and told me that he would contact customer service on my behalf and request contact immediately. He apologized and told me to call him tomorrow if I had not heard from anyone.
Minutes later someone from customer service called and told me that a service technician would contact me the next day. She asked me how I can be reached and I gave her MY CELL number.
The next day I was at work with my cell phone practically glued to my hip. No calls. I got a text from my husband saying that they called him and set up the meeting. (Side note: but wait… I specifically gave them MY CELL#...?)
I was not willing to take time off of work to stay home and wait for a repair man, and so I asked my brother in law who works afternoons. I explained the issue with my washer and assumed all would be fixed.
Sadly by the time the repair man arrived at my home my washer had sat unused for close to 2 weeks. And no longer emitted the noise. The repair man instructed us to call him if it occurs again, and he would personally come out again.
I then assumed that all was well and began a load of laundry that night. When I went to change the laundry to the dryer there was water on my floor. And not a few drops, more like 4cups or more. And to top it off the clothes in my washer were soaking wet.
I called him back the next day and explained what had happened. He seemed really surprised and asked me a few times if I had over loaded the washer. No, I did not.
He set a date and time to come out and I arranged for my brother inlaw again. The repair man came, and claimed that it was spinning before it finishes draining, and the load is wet because the water is just sitting in the tub. It leaked because as it spun it went over the top. So yay! A solution. He told my brother in law that we should not use it, and that he would be getting parts by Monday and would call us to set up another date and time, BUT he had to call Bad Boy and arrange the ordering and payment of the parts.
Monday came and he called and asked how the washer was working and if it had leaked. My response was shock. We were told not to use it. I asked him when he was coming to fix it. He commented that there was nothing that he could find wrong with it. WHAT? He just kept saying to me that he thinks that he can’t get it to leak because it has something to do with me. He asked me who used the washer, and how we operated it. My response was rather dry and annoyed “We put clothes in it” Maybe you are putting too much in.
NO I AM NOT OVER LOADING THE WASHER
He commented that he wanted to set up a time to meet with me specifically to watch me operate the washer. At the time I agreed because I thought maybe then it will get fixed.
The next day after talking with friends and co-workers I realized this was absolutely embarrassing . I called the repair man up and told him I was offended that he seems to think I am a complete idiot. He commented that he does not know what is wrong with the washer, but that I typically was over loading it. I said NO I AM NOT OVER LOADING IT!
I asked him about the part she claimed to need for it, and he denied ever even mentioning parts. WHAT! I told him not to bother coming, because I am fully capable of operating a washer, and if he had no idea what was wrong with it there was no point in him coming.
Feeling kind of responsible I thought to myself “maybe it is me…?” So I put less clothes in the load.. and guess what it leaked. But it was not consistent. It leaked once every few loads… and some were large loads, some small.
Okay so what do I do now? It is now March and my washer has been leaking for almost a month and I am not about to call back the repair man. I decided to call customer service again. On Monday I called and got a call back on Friday at 5:15… 5 days of waiting.
The woman who called asked why I was calling. I explained my whole story and she put me on hold. She told me she would pass my name and number to the repair man and he would call me on Monday. I told her he would no longer be welcome in my home, and I requested another repair man. She then put me on hold saying she would need to speak with a manager. Great cheesy music…
She got back on the line and told me that they would send out another company. BUT if this repair man cannot find anything wrong with my washer then I will be charged for service call. But I am under warranty. I mentioned to her that my washer does not always leak, so what if it does not when he is there. Then you will have to pay for it. YEAH RIGHT. Not happening. I got angry and swore a few times yelling into the phone, but she latterly had nothing to say. I told her I wanted to talk to a manager, and she told me I can contact one on Monday.
She then passed me through to a man in warranty who proceeded to explain to me that the service call would not be paid for if they can not find anything wrong. So wait if you send me another untrained repair man, then I get to pay the stupid bill. Not happening.
I explained how angry I was swore a few times and commented on how this customer service sucks. All he said was to call back on Monday, and wait for the new repair man to call me back.
So my thoughts:
a) not a happy customer to begin with
b) not happy man hung up
c) not happy it took so long to talk to an actual person
d) not happy with repair
e) not happy with warranty
f) not happy about customer service
f) NOT HAPPY!

What the future holds:
I plan to wait for the call from the second company and verbally explain my situation, and what is wrong with my washer. If they can not verbally come up with an idea as to what could be wrong, then they are not worth my time. Then I plan to call the first repair man and call him out again. Then I plan to call bad boys head office and explain to them all that is wrong with my experience as a customer. Finally if my washer is still not fixed I plan to hire a repair person with my own money and I will send the bill along with this very long letter to every bad boy in Ontario, head office, and Lastman himself. I also plan to post on many websites, and send my complaints to newspapers and media. And Maybe! someone might get the idea and the thought to perhaps do something about it.

Sadly, so far this story does not have a happy ending.

Lastman's Bad Boy liars!

My fiance and I saw a sale at BAD BOY and bought a washer and dryer. We needed it right away because our washer broke. We went in this weekend (Saturday) to purchase the product, and were promised that it was in stock, and delivery will be on Tuesday. Then we get a phone call on Monday from Bad Boy, and said that delivery is pushed until Thursday instead. Then we called them on Wednesday (today) to confirm for the Thursday delivery and they informed us that it was delayed again until the next Tuesday. We decided to go somewhere else TODAY, GO "THE BRICK", bought the exact same appliance, we told them our story, the predicament we were in, and they gave us a better deal than BAD BOY! Oh, and the appliances are in stock (the warehouse) and we are getting the washer and dryer in our home the very next day. That's not a promise, that's a 100% for sure, it will be in our basement. How is that possible...no really, how awesome is that? Bottom line, don't go to BAD BOY!

I bought a living room set from Bad Boy a few years ago. When the delivery men came, they asked me to hold the screen door open. As they were bringing in the couch it slipped and crushed my finger, breaking the tip and splitting it open. I needed 7 stitches to close it up and it is still tender to this day. I had to call head office and they were very rude. I never got an apology. I finally had to get a lawyer as I needed to be compensated for lost time, medication, etc.
Moral of this story, never hold a door open for delivery people and NEVER EVER SHOP AT BAD BOY!'

Couldn't agree with you more... Are fridge went on us and we went to the Bad Boy Burlington store as they had the best price . The unit we wanted was availbale but of course the sell's rep pointed us towards another unit.. same manufacturer same fridge only difference was a double bottom freezer drawer... at a better price and availble for delivery within the week. In fact we decided to buy a 54" Plasma TV as well since they matched the price we were given elswhere... So not a bad deal for us and Bad Boy... this is where the good part ends and the BS begins... Long story short..on the TV .. a week comes and goes and no fridge and no TV..they told us they were having trouble sourcing the TV because they stopped making it... we checked the internet and made one phone call and were able to locate 6 of the TV's at four different retailers.. picked the TV up the same day at 2001 Audio for the same price that Bad Boys gave us..so we cancell the TV deal with Bad Boy...do you think they are motivated to save the deal... Nope! we warn them if they can't deleiver the fridge we will cancell it as well..Oh! we we will have to call our 'Buyer" to see where it is.. what BS.. they should have done that day one not when we call a week later looking for what should have already been delivered.! Of course they make false promises.."we will escalate this with head office" yea like when! Monday... wait it has already been over a week why are you waiting to do anything Bad Boy...Of course we get told early Monday evening that the fridge won't becoming in unitl the end of the week... that makes it over twoo weeks without a fridge... so we make another internet search and a couple of phone calls and souce the frideg at Sears, Goemans, Ballisimos... and a few other retialer... now here is the best part.. we call Bad Boy back and they can't understand how this could be because they "bought them all" it's even in their monthly flyer in print.. how misleading is this BS I tell the bewildered sales rep who has no answer but to say" they are making me look like a liar... yes they are pal..
So bottom line Bad Boy does not have the best deals.. because if you don't deleiver the product.. then even free is no deal...

Lastman's Bad Boy bad service

I purchased a sofa and a love seat from Bad boy in North york location in toronto, on the first week of January 2010. I was promised the delivry will be done by 2nd of Feb. I just called Bad boy to find out the delivery schedule for tomorrow and found out that the delivery is postponed for another month. What a rip off becaue I already waited for a month now it is hard to wait for another month. I have guest coming from Europe. I have no sofa at home. I threw my old sofa today, I never knew that my new sofa delvery will be delayed for another month. I spent 1800 for the sofa and now I found out no sofa for another month. The worst part is customer service at Bad boy. I called up the store and the person name Oleg emp id 304 spoke very harsh to me. WHat a worst customer service at bad boy. What Do I do now. There is no refund policy at bad boy otherwise I could have returned and purchased sofa from another store. I don`t think I will buy any product from bad boy any more . I will send my story to meda tomorrow. Also I will not reccomend my family and friends to make any purchase at bad boy. I will share my experience with every body.

Lastman's Bad Boy dishonest, bad customer service, everything bad

this is the letter i wrote after i was very upset with the whole ordeal, please excuse my grammar as i am not very articulate.

Dear Mr. Lastman, first I would like to say that I am sorry to bother you but I feel like this is one of my last resorts that I can actually use. To make this short and use as little of your time as possible, I would like to say that I am very unhappy with the way that I have been treated with your bad boy customer service department. If you look under my phone number and the original sales bill F096372, you would get a better understanding as to why I would have to write you this letter.

On May 4th 2008 I went to your Keele/Finch bad boy store and made a $2300 worth of goods, one dinner set, a coffee table set, a leather sofa bed and a leather loveseat. At the time, I explained to the
salesman that furniture is important to me because I am planning to entertain guests. The salesman and I agreed that I would get my dinner set and coffee set within the next week and also bad boy would lend
me a regular loveseat. As for the leather sofa bed and loveseat, it would take about 6 weeks to arrive. I then took the salesman words for it and agreed on the purchase, but now I think about it, this is a
huge mistake that I made upon myself, but I made a $600 deposit on the spot.

On May 7th 2008 I went and paid another $500 for what I thought would cover for the furniture soon to arrive as I was told. A week has passed since I went to the store and made agreement with the store, I've paid off $1100 of $2300 for a coffee set and a loner loveseat. I was and still am very upset that I've made $1100 payment on a coffee set and a loner loveseat! How is it that bad boy were so fast to take someone's money and did not live up to the agreement? I needed the furniture more than anything. I made a few calls to customer service because I thought I would get my dinner set also but to no avail the answers I got by customer service was "we dont know". I knew that I was not getting no where with customer service and during that time I was too busy planning for a family get together so I left it as that and borrowed furniture from friends and family.

On June 03 2008, I made a $800 payment on the remaining $1200 for what I was told it would be for the leather sofa bed and loveseat because thats what the delivery department had told me. The delivery came,
but somehow the drivers and Ram (manager at keele/finch), wanted me to pay the remaining $400 that I owe before they would give me the loveseat because they said the $800 only covers the sofa bed. Now, if I had been told that I should have paid more, I would have done so, but I wasn't told. Bad Boy required me to pay $800 at that time and I made the $800 payment. I spoke with Ram but he wouldn't let me have both the sofa bed and loveseat. The drivers took back the leather loveseat and the loner that I had. So after a month has passed, I've made a $1900 payment for a coffee set and a sofa bed. I dont know about bad boy's policies but anyone can see that I am getting taking advantage of and being manipulated to.

On Jun 07 2008, the last delivery came for the leather loveseat and the dinner set and I paid my remaining balance of $400 in full. Again, I couldnt believe that this is the kind of business that bad boy is offering. Back when I first went to the store and made my purchases, I made these purchases for BRAND NEW PRODUCTS not demos, refurbished, second hand, and etc. But this last delivery just set a new low for the way bad boy has been treating me.

As the drivers were bringing in the products, I was baffled that the dinner set was NOT in its original packaging but I knew that it wasn't the drivers job to know about the orders, they just deliver. It is funny that after the drivers had set the products down and they left, I open up the loveset and saw that THIS IS NOT WHAT I HAVE PAID FOR. I couldnt believe what I was seeing, all I could do is laugh because I should have known from the ways that I have been treated, I shouldnt be surprise.

I called customer service and tried to complain, I got on the line with a service rep name Dwayne. I sounded calm and collect, trying to be as nice as I can so that I can get this nightmare over as soon as
possible. But it seems to me that without me screaming at the rep, the rep wouldn't take me seriously. Me being nice and calm about the situation, this was not working but instead, Dwayne sounded like he's the customer and im the rep trying to keep the situation under control. I calmly explained to Dwayne that what I have just received just now was not what I have paid for. I expalined to him about the dinner set and the leather loveseat. At first we talked about the dinner set and I dont know what he was thinking but he insisted thats what I have paid for and thats exactly what I got, USED DEMO.

Now, If you were me, what would you say or do in this situation? well, I did not go out of control or crazy over that, I just explained to him that I have paid for this brand new and this isnt what I have paid for. Dwayne then thought about it and says he'll call the store of which I made my purchases from and try to see what was it that I bought, New or used demo. With the dinner set, set aside, over to the leather loveset.

Even if a person is blind, I think they can still tell that this is NOT BRAND NEW. The problems are; at the back top right has a HALF feet of melted ripped/slashed mark. On the right seat cushion is half
covered with little bumps. The cushion seats are FLAT, and have noticable CREASES. Also at the bottom of the loveseat, it seems like its been on an attic for quite awhile because when i first received it did NOT have any protection, and the protection that it HAD have been teared off. Last but not least the leather of the whole loveseat is very old, as it is were probably a demo model and been very used. It does not feel or look like a brand new order at all, when I actually paid for it BRAND NEW. Dwayne and I talked about this for awhile, again, from the way I sounded, calm and collect, he tried to take advantage of me by trying to imply that the problem is me and I might have done this and try to create more problems for bad boy. After Dwayne tries to imply these accusations, I just freaked but I did not say anything that would offend him or anyone. So he then suggested that I should agree to let a technician to come out and have a look but I told him that I did not want someone to come out and have a look to try to fix it, I want my product brand new.

I knew I was not going anywhere with him so I and my friend took a cushion each from the sofa bed which is a brand new one and the one from the loveseat which is an old one to the store that I have made my purchases from. At first I wanted to talk to Ram but thankfully I did not speak to him because soon after I've talked to Pat, I realize that if I had talked to Ram, he would have told me what Dwayne have told me. My friend as I went into the store and patiently waited for Ram because I thought he's the only person I could speak to and because he was the manager. Ram came over with Pat and I showed them the two cushions, I asked them, "you guys are professional, can you tell me the differences between these two cushions?", Pat notices right away and told me that I shouldnt have gotten this in the first place and he did not know why they would give this to me. As for Ram, he and I momentarily went aside to talk, and this is exactly what Ram says, "I think you've got this because of the wrong side of the skin, the bad side but it should be ok". I dont know about you but after hearing him saying that, I feel that, the reason why he's a manager because of his work ethic in saving bad boy a lot of money by giving unsatisfy customers these type of answers and his unwillingness to ratify the situation. I went back and talked to Pat a bit more and he made a call to customer service and Pat told them why I was at the
store and that they should try and help me. Pat then hung up the phone and in his own words "in the end, you will be happy". Pat seem like a nice trustworthy person, so I took his words for it and went home. As for the dinner set, badboy was very hesistant at first about my complaint for a new one but I did get an exchange.

On June 12th 2008, the driver came and picked up the leather loveseat for sending back to the manufacturer for repairs. Initially I wanted a brand new exchange but I grew tired of fighting with bad boy about the situations bad boy has put me through, so I just took the next best thing which is repair and not have it going any furthur and take a good hard lesson from all of this. Dwayne is still the rep I was dealing with and he says that I would get my leather loveseat back within 6 weeks. As I am sitting here writing you this letter on July 29th 2008, Dwayne is nowhere to be found as I called customer service numerous time, I can not seem to get a hold on anyone and I did leave a few messages but no one has returned any of them. I did however spoke to Dwayne on July 17th and he told me that he spoke to the manufacturer and they told him that in no way that they could have sent this out to me and Dwayne says he believes them. If that was the case, why was he so reluctant at first when I called and complained about it prior? Dwayne made me feel like customers are not important to badboy because if customers like myself were important, I wouldnt have gotten all of these grieves from customer service that I have. As for the leather loveseat looking like the way it did, I think I can safely say that badboy was trying to rip me off. Dwayne then says that he has spoke to one of his colleague that she should have taking care of my situation a few weeks prior. But I told him, if that was the case, why was there no one to inform me about my situations? Again, I was very calm and collect when I spoke to him and again, I feel that, everytime I tried to be nice, I get taking advantage of. Must I scream from the top of my lungs for badboy to hear my cries? Dwayne clamied that he does not know why "Reza" the service rep for
keele/finch store did not contact me. He suggested he'll leave her a message and then I should be hearing from her within 24hrs.

24hrs later, who called? No one! i called back to customer service looking for someone to help but the person that I got to help me says I should be only talking to Dwayne because he deals with my case, but
where is Dwayne? I've called every day for the last week or so but where is he?

I am very fed up with the situation that badboy has and is putting me through, I tried to be considerate about this but badboy isnt so considerate at all. Whom am I to talk to? can you please tell me that? it's been three months since I first went into the store and I am still NOT having all my orders. Is this the kind of business practices badboy does? manipulating the customers and having unkeep promises?

Please, I beg of you, I dont want to be in this nightmare any longer, I just want everything to be settled accordingly so we both can part ways.

I am hopeful for a happy ending between badboy and I, but I must say, this is most likely the last time I would ever step foot inside a badboy store again, unless badboy has a 99% discount.

I'd like to thank you for your time and I would appreciate if you can help speed up the situations because I am very tired of all this nonsenses.

i did get the new loveseat after almost 6 months from original purchase date. i however wasted so much time and energy on this whole ordeal and i thought i would never step foot inside a badboy store again, but i go back after a year and 2 in stock clearance mattresses.

Lastman's Bad Boy appliances

I have discussed with the sales person and the manager of the appliance department the purchase of six appliances: fridge, stove, microwawe owen, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The sales person gave me a price, and I've negotiated with him to have the delivery cost included in the final price, as a discount. Since I will only need the appliances to be delivered in about a month, he asked me for a 25% down as a deposit, the rest to be paid in full on delivery. The invoice received is hand written and has a list of items purchased with the final price, but no itemized price. When I looked at the invoice at home I realized that the fridge is not listed, but the cost of it was included in the final amount listed on the invoice. And now I'm fully liable for the invoice, but I will not receive the fridge that I'm paying for because the sale person did not put it on the list! WHAT a SCAM!

Lastman's Bad Boy bad service

I bought some furniture from Bad Boy Scarborough branch on 2007 worth about $2, 000 and had no problems. I came back the following year for a $600 couch with no problems also. But on October 2009, when I bought some furniture worth abot $5, 000 their service became so terrible that it is not worth it going back to them anymore.

There was spring box backorder and I called the Scarborough branch that out of the so many furniture, they forgot the box spring. Told them that it was a blessing in disguise because I needed a split box spring instead of the regular one. After one week, the delivery guys came back with the regular back spring and not the split one.

Went to the store and followed up with the sales guy with regards to the split box spring. I ended up buying a loveseat worth $800 so they can just deliver them at the same time. The salesguy said that he'd inform me via telephone within 2 days but after 5 days, I did not hear from them and inspite of repeated messages for a return call, nothing, not even from their manager.

I ended up of going to the store and spoke with the manager. Apparently, the salesguy did not enter the additional cost to the split type hence it was held up in delivery. I told the manager that it was not good business practice that the salesguy did not inform me of the added cost. The manager agreed and said that all was even and even gave me a $50 gift certificate.

1 day prior to the promised delivery date, I got a call from their delivery department that I still owed them$171 for the split box spring. I called the store again and spoke with a different manager who was oblivious to the issue since the other manager I dealt with was on his day-off. I just wanted to get through with the deal since the $1, 000 mattres was getting ruined without the split box spring.

Now, I informed the other manager that I was not told of the added cost and the previous manager supposedly wrote it off. Nonetheless, I told him to just deliver all the items just to get over the issues already and will pay the additional $171. I told them that I am not a happy customer and will definitely spread around the bad service. The response of the manager, "I do not care about your threats, all we want is to make you happy." Now was that stupid and ironic on how to make a livid customer. Moreso, the manager does not care.

That is Bad Boy for you, extremely bad service, will not return your phone calls, additional cost to your part without the proper disclosure and you are held hostage since all sales are final.

Lastman's Bad Boy leather couches

Well where do I start we bought a leather couch and love seat and chair from Bad Boy Furniture in Kitchener, Ontario Canada and its been a nightmare ever since we got it. First things first when we got the set it was ripped in several spots so they took it back and replaced it only to have the second set have a rip in the love seat and the legs not fit on the chair. So I have owned this set now for a year and guess what the leather on it is peeling so bad I had this couch and loveseat and chair treated so this shouldn't be happening and guess what they refuse to replace this couch. I must say that this place Bad Boy Furniture has got to be the worse place to buy furniture and I tell you now because its cheap to buy don't ever buy from them there very rude at there customer service department and they don't care as long as they sell it and get it out of there warehouse and I must say shame on you Mel Lastman you honestly have no good morals when you run a store like this and I will tell you that I am not [censored]ten you when this furniture really sucks my door is open to anyone who wants to see what there furniture looks like after just 1 year. You leave me a posting here and I will give you my address to take a look see. So my warning to anyone is DON'T BUY FROM MEL LASTMAN. Regards Jeff

We bought a leather couch set from the same store and have had it replaced twice now and today sept 17 2012 we were told to go f++ ourselves by customer service so we phone head office and ask for tony we were put throw his office he's looking in to our problems with bad boys. Lastman's Bad Boy everything

My husband and I purchased a L-shaped sectional on Sept. 23 from these people, we were told that it was not in stock but rather on backorder and the expected date of delivery was October 22. We agreed to that since we really liked the couch. When Oct. 22nd rolled around, no one had called us so after calling numerous times, we finally got a hold of the salesperson only to be told that its not expected for another week. This went on for another 2 weeks. FINALLY after going to the store 4 times, calling every other day and complaining, I was told that a delivery is scheduled for Tuesday between 9 - 1:30pm, so after taking a day off work, and waiting for this delivery nothing happened between those times. I had to call the store AGAIN and ask whats going on, only to be told by the manager that he will call me back in 5 minutes... 20 min later he finally called to tell me that the couch is on a different truck and will be there soon. So after wasting the whole morning for nothing, they finally decided to show up at 2:30pm... The delivery men were extremely rude to me, they came into my house in their dirty boots, at this point I had already paid them for the couch (BIG MISTAKE) and when they were unwrapping it, I noticed that it was the wrong couch alltogether! So not only did we wait forever, but we got the completely wrong thing! They would not take it away due to their "Company Rules"... so I was told I have to call the store and deal with it that way... SOO AWESOME! Because we really didnt have enough of their BS... On top of the lovely delivery men and the wrong couch, they left us a very nice surprise in the driveway. ALL of the wrapping and plastic that this couch was wrapped in, was left in a very cool pile in the middle of my driveway! What the hell am I supposed to do with that? Roll around in it?!?!?
So after ANOTHER phone call to the store, the manager (John) would not get on the phone with me, I was told that he was "scared" to talk to me... No [censored]... I would be too at this point...
Finally after a while I got him on the phone, and told him the situation at hand and then he told me that the salesperson should have told me that they leave all of their plastic and garbage there...
WELL.. how nice... So TODAY its Nov. 20/09 which the couch was promised today... no one has called NOTHING... So I went to the store to get my money back... the manager was avoiding me, he was a big # when he did speak to me, and they gave me a credit note back... telling me that in order to get my money back from them, they have to pick up the WRONG couch that was delivered, and that I have to go BACK to the store to get my money back.. as If I want to go there again...

This has been THE worst experience with anyone... DO NOT buy from these people!
They are a bunch of scammers! The name says it all!

I was about to go next week and purchase a couch from Bad Boy but after the MANY bad reviews I am now highly doubting this is a good idea! The best part here, is that Bad Boy commented back to your review apologizing...finishing with "feel free to contact us" ! After the whole ordeal of you TRYING to contact them! That just goes to show their quality of customer service. THEY should be trying to contact YOU to rectify the situation. THAT would be CUSTOMER SERVICE! These reviews scare me of what could happen to me if I purchase from them. I would not have the time or patience to deal with that kind of BS. I appreciate the warning!

Lastman's Bad Boy refuses refund

I purchased a sofa and love seat at bad bay furniture in Kitchener.
The following day, and prior to delivery. I cancelled my order. I have
been told that all sales are final and am being given the run-around to
have my money returned. Buyers beware. These people are dishonest!

Lastman's Bad Boy delivery

After having prolbems at Leons we went to Bad Boys who sold us a new bedroom set. They "1 billion percent" guaranteed we would have our mattress in one week (which we got) but because they did not have the headboard and footboard that would be in an estimated 6 - 8 weeks. We really needed a new mattress so we agreed... that was on July 2, 2009. On Sunday Aug 30 (going on 9 weeks) we called and my origional sales lady claimed she could not find it in the system (as in it has not been ordered yet). Prior to this I had called in three times and every time the girl who answered the phone reassured me the system said end of August it would be in. I called head office on Monday (Aug 31) who called me but said that they would have to talk to the purchaser and hung up on me (Sept 2, I still have not heard back from them) As of last night (Sept 1) the General Manager (Paul Taylor) informed us that our product has just been shipped (From China, by boat!) and we should have the remainder of our product by mid Oct - ANOTHER 6-8 weeks approximately. We told him to come and pick everything up because that is unacceptable to which he replied all sales are final (this set was their newest model NOT on sale!) and the best they could do was a 50$ gift card for our inconvenience. Paul Taylor claims that because he said that the delivery date was only an approximatation that they are not in the wrong.

Whos better than Bad Boys? Evvvvvvvvvvvvvvveryone!

Lastman's Bad Boy rude service

We went to the Bad Boys furniture retailer in Barrie to look for new appliances for our basement apartment we were building. We were looking at the different models of stoves in the show room, and their salesman eventually directed us toward a stove wedged between other appliances. He said they were trying to sell this floor model, and that we can save a couple hundred dollars if we took it. My wife and her father was with me, and we decided it looked like a decent stove so we paid for it in full (big mistake) and said we'll be back in a few days to pick it up when we can bring a pickup truck.

When we picked it up and took it home, we removed the card board wrapping, and the stove didn't have any side covers, you can see through to the internal wirings of the stove. I phoned them up and asked why it's missing the side covers, the manager immediately got on the defensive, and the first thing he tried to say was that the stove was out in the open in plain view (which it wasn't), and then said that it was a slide in model so they don't have side covers. I told him that this slide in model was no good for us with our kitchen setup and wanted to return it, and again he got defensive and rude saying that "I don't live in your house, how should I know that?" He kept on trying to defend himself and his salesman, and saying it wasn't his problem that we got the wrong stove, I think he forgot that it was HIS salesman who pointed that stove out to us in the first place and told us we should get it without telling us that it was a slide on model, and it wasn't placed in a position that was readily available for us to see. He kept going on and on about how the stove was in plain view, even though he knew it was a lie, and it didn't make sense for us to buy something we wouldn't like if it was in plain view like he claimed.

What I thought was going to be a simple phone call to return the stove turned out to be a big argument before he finally allowed us to bring it in to exchange for something else, which was a good move on his part because my next step would've been to contact the Better Business Bureau if he refused, there's no way we were going to keep that stove. If it wasn't for the fact that they would only let us have store credit, we wouldn't even buy another stove from there, and we're definitely not going to get the rest of our appliances from any Bad Boys retailer ever again. I think their sales people and management team are very poorly trained, I work in sales myself and one of our most important rule is to let people know everything there is to know about the product they are buying, it saves us a lot of inconvenience down the road, and people usually appreciate the honesty and that's one way we build a clientele. The people at Bad Boys seem to rather make a quick buck then think about building clientele.

In contrast to how Bad Boys work, there is a Home Depot nearby where we've been getting some materials for our basement renovation. Usually their people are very informative and help us pick out the right materials and tools for the job, and when it turns out the materials we purchased wasn't the right ones, or purchased more then we needed, they never gave us a hassle when we went to return, and as a result we've made most of our building material purchases there.

Lastman's Bad Boy service/replacement

Last year in February we paid cash for a livingroom set, washer and dryer, and flat screen T.V. We asked that this stuff be delivered in May when we move into our first house. The day of the delivery they showed up with the washer, dryer, and T.V. They did not come with the living room set. I called and they said they had none in stock (3months after purchase) and that one would be out in a couple of weeks. 2 months later our sofa set finally arrived. Last month we noticed the fabric on the sofa was not holding (we had taken out an extended warranty) so we were advised to call MagiSeal. They came out had a look and said they would order the new fabric and have it fixed. Today I got a call from Lastman BadBoys and they are now saying it cant be fixed we need a new one but they dont make that sofa anymore so we have to come to the store to find something else. I dont want a miss matched living room set. I want all the peices to match. They are the worst company we have ever dealt with, and now we dont know what to do. My husband and I spent over $5000.00 in that store within 2 hours and this is the service that we receive. Heads up everyone, do not deal with them, it will be the biggest mistake of your life.

Why dont you suck it up and be happy they are atleast TRYING to do something for you, & next time read the fine print in the warranty.

Lastman's Bad Boy questionable business ethics

We visited the Burlington store, and purchased a front load washer and dryer and left a 30 % deposit of $596.00. The next day we were
called and told the units we purchased were the last of their kind and were floor models only, even though they were not marked as such.

We returned the call and said my wife didn't want floor models and that we wanted to cancel the order. The salesman said no problem, we could come in and have our deposit refunded. Two days later, I went in to pick up the refund, credit slips were filled out, when the sales manager Scott came over and suggested he could put the floor models in boxes and I could just tell my wife they were new.

When I declined, he went to a computer and announced another customer had magically postponed their order, and that he had a
new unit available. I told him I didn't believe him, that he might just send out the floor models in new boxes... and he said..."we don't cancel." I asked if he was saying he wasn't refunding my money, (remember the refund slips were already filled out by his staff) and he repeated "we don't cancel."

They didn't refund my money and they didn't offer a credit note. I faxed a letter to the general manager, and emailed a copy to
badboy's service dept... and who has responded? NOoooooobody!

We have purchased a new more expensive unit from Home Depot
and the entire experience was fantastic in comparison.

I bought a bedroom set from the Burlington store. What a nightmare, the bed was incomplete, the whole set had little holes all over it. I was told it was a finish..lol. Holes as a finish. I was calling them from 11 am and waiting for them to call back...they never did. The slates were missing parts. Iwas handed over to so many people, they were passing the buck. This famous Scott is to call me and see what is missing enevthough I told them what was missing for 6 hours, still I have to wait till bozo calls NEXT WEEK. I have a half finished bed and have to sleep on the floor till this idot calls then have to wait till BAD BOYS sends me the missing parts.I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THAT CRAP STORE EVER AGAIN. So not happywith them.

Lastman's Bad Boy fridge repair

I'm very disappointed with the service I received from the customer service dept from Bad Boy furniture store. I bought kitchen appliances fridge, stove and dishwasher machine in Oct 2005 with warranty I might add... Well! my fridge stopped working, called bad Boy customer service no response x 2 days, called again... answer machine-left message... no response... called next day... arrange date for Friday... service person arrived (shocked... arrived the stated time as agreed 10 am) states "compressor blown.. need new one... have to order" Now Monday comes along... call service dept... a very rude call service person states "take time to get approval from head office to buy compressor" APPROVAL I HAVE WARRANTY THAT'S WHY I PAID EXTRA... no fridge for 9 days and counting. For now my fridge is the GARAGE... someone please help... Ingrid

Hi Ingrid. In 2007, I bought a gas Kitchen Aid stove, gas dryer and above stove microwave and bunk beds. I bought the 50 month gold plan on the stove. The gas stove has been leaking gas when it starts up(fails to lite) occasionally as well as the door locking occasionally 6 times and you have to yank on it many many times before it opens. This happens while the oven is cooking and once it turns off the door on occasion wont open. When the repairman arrived he couldn't smell gas when he turned the oven on, but he said that they are known to have problems starting and leaking gas. The repair man fixed the gas leak, but told my wife we must have pushed the self clean button to have the door lock. We have never pushed the self clean button. The repairman didn't want to come back to repair the sticking door. Customer service said I have to call them when it happens again, so the repairman can see that it is not opening. I told them I would get it fixed and send them a bill and if it wasn't paid in 30 days I would send it to a collections agency. I paid $ 150 extra for an extended warrenty on a $ 1000 gas stove. Who can help me get it fixed?

Lastman's Bad Boy sales staff

Wow what a place to go shopping at.
the showroom is clean and tidy.
My freind and I went there to get some things for our new home but we left feeling unwanted.
I was unable to find a salesperson to anwers any question that we had for then they were no where to be found.
But we did find then while we were looking around after all they were all down in the tv area watching some movie they were playing and the loundness of the move was really bad you could not ask them for help because they would not have been able to hear you over the t.v.
while we were looking around we were surprise to see how many of them were watching tv reading news paper and drinking coffee that was more inportance to them then us the paying consummer.
After we did get someone to hel[p us we left the shop without buying a thing mainly because they were not help full at.
someone should tell them they have things backwards they go to work to help people like me and my freind buy the right things insteady of watching t. v and drinking coffee all day long.
one of the things we found really hard to get past was the used coffee cups place in side the things they want the people to buy.
nooooooooooobody likes new furniture that someone uses like a trash can this store is really bad for this.
We left there unloved and unwanted in many ways.
if they keep going the brick will win

WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE RUN AROUND FOR OVER A MONTH WITH NO SATISFACTION IN GETTING OUR DINING ROOM TABLE OR COFFEE TABLE BUT OUR CASH OF ALMOST 10, 000 WAS GOOD WHEN WE GAVE IT TO THEM . I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER THING FROM THIS COMPANY

This is not a complaint about their product although I do feel it is overpriced and over rated. This is a complaint about their advertising techniques. Their new add with President Obama look alike is done in extremely poor taste and should be pulled. They are exploiting the President.
