Water continually drips into washer tub. I had to turn off the water supply to the machine to stop the leak or else it will fill the tub over time. Luckily the machine recognizes the water in the tub and drains it before it starts a new wash cycle (don't know how, but it did).
Maytag warranty coverage is disaster repair only, what a joke considering their advertisments but whatever. I think that water valve is defective and I see that the part number has changed (usually do to a recognized problem) as I had to order a new valve after reading Maytag lame warranty coverage. Got a replacement valve from Amazon ($53.61) that had good reviews. Email me and I'll let you know how it went after 5/26/2021. Disassembly/assembly is pretty straight forward. You can do it.

Scam, Rip off, Junk Liars
This company deserves a negative five star rating. Over the years I have purchased Whirlpool products and every single time their product have failed me. I purchased a Whirlpool gold stainless steal side by side refrigerator thinking its the top of the line, boy was I wrong. This refrigerator was a bunch of JUNK. Service calls one after another and they could never figure out the problem. After years of service call and not being able to use the fridge it was sold for scrap metal. And of course after speaking to Whirlpool my money was non-refundable. Later I purchased a whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer. Needless to say the pair only lasted three years. The washer motor went out and the belt on dryer broke 4 times, JUNK. Not having learned my lesson the first two times with Whirlpool products I bought a Maytag washer which seems to be holding up for now. I later bought a Maytag dryer and after TWO DAYS I called Maytag and they would have to send a service company out to repair a BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX dryer. Let me reiterate (2) TWO days. JUNK. Don't think because something cost more that its the best That's not always the case.

This Maytag washer has had a bad odor for quite some time, even after cleaning cycles, so I did research to see if there was a recall or faulty part. Research showed hundreds of complaints on this washer not draining properly and water building up under the drum which leads to mold with the stagnant water. I call Maytag to make a formal complaint and see if there was a recall on this product or a faulty part and the Maytag Associate told me there was no known issues with this washer. I tried making a written complaint to Maytag along with the phone call, however it appears Maytag does not stand by their products and does not see a concern with exposing my entire family to mold all this time due to their washing machine not draining properly. After watching many consumers post videos on how to take apart this washer and clean out the mold periodically I did the same. Pictures attached are of the water not draining under the drum and the mold build up on the various parts. This is unacceptable that Maytag would allow consumers to continue using this washing machine knowing the faulty design and exposing entire families to mold.

Presently the inside plastic of the lid is cracked on the corner . The softener dispenser has rust. I called your warranty dept only to find out this is not covered . MRT118FFFH Refrigerator
Purchased above refrigerator 3.5 years ago and it's now inoperative. Chambers of Bloomington was sent to service and it would've have cost us close to $500 in parts and labor, plus compressor requires replacement. I requested an itemized list of repairs required from Sean, service person, but he just documented sealed system repair on paperwork and told me the evaropative system on freezer was also destroyed. I'd like more information re: this problem to probe further. Shouldn't an appliance last at least 10 years.
We are highly inconvenienced because at this time, having to shop around for another appliance is difficult because of covid.
We've been Maytag purchasers for many many years, but it's over at this point.

it doesn't get my clothes clean, it's ,a water saver and not enough water, even on heavy cycle
I bought my washer and dryer from Lowe's in 4/20/20, I don't like this washing machine, I tried every cycle and it doesn't get my clothes clean, I don't over load either, then sometimes it doesn't spin the water out. I have the same model. The repair tech sent by Maytag did some test and told me that the drain pump was running as the washer was filling. Thus I never got enough water. He told me that the Control Board (P/N W11399433 was bad. He told me not to leave the washer plugged in. I ordered the new Control Board and was told that is is "Out of Stock". They are HOPING that it will be available in about 3 weeks. I paid $900 for a new washer. Now, 8 months later, I have no work washer and no cooperation from Maytag.
The Customer service person Darlene told me that Maytag is currently sell the same model. When I asked why didn't Maytag pull a board from an unsold machine and give it to me. Darlene refused to explore that option. Maytag sucks.

Like all the other complaints listed for Maytag Washer Model MVWX655DW1, I took started having issues with the washer not completing wash cycles, doesn't agitate or clean clothes. I called Maytag's customer service [protected] number, I was told to troubleshoot by watching Youtube videos, that they didn't have the machine hub or drive shaft information with common issues I too was having. By the amount of complaints, Maytag is fully aware of MVWX655DW1 washing machine problems since the majority of the issues are exactly the same.

Range model # YMER8800FZO
The convection element shorted out resulting in a sizable repair bill to replace the element / fan and cover. After these components were replaced I noticed that the oven was hot even though it was off. Turns out that the convection element is energized whenever the range has power to it, whether the stove is in use or not . Great now I have a fire hazard.
I had to disconnect power to the range and disconnect the convection element wires so that we can still use the range, albeit without convection.
Looks like the oven control MRC needs to be replaced .
I am very upset. We purchased this range because it had a 10 year warranty only to find that none of these components are covered .

I have had this Centennial Commercial Tech Washing Machine for a couple years. It does not clean clothes no matter how small or large a load, or level setting. I hate Hate Hate this machine. I bought the best in the store thinking it would be my last purchase. And now feel stuck with dirty clothes, and a very stinky washer. I have used every commercial product to clean it to no avail. Finally I used Hot Water 4 Cups Vinegar and 1/2 C Baking Soda. The clean odor lasted 3 wash loads & here comes must water. I truly believe the water is way to low of level at any control level clean. this machine is a nightmare. I absolutely Hate Hate Hate it.

Washer model mhw5630hc0 won't spin
I purchased this machine in October of 2019. In January of 2020 it started giving me issues. The machine washes but didn't spin. I had to run the "drain and spin" cycle to get the water out of my clothes. We had a tech come out and replaced the main circuit board and all was good until now. Now it is back to doing the same thing. However it is now out of the manufacturers warranty. The next tech, (provided by the extended warranty company), proceeded to tell my wife that she was doing laundry wrong. Told her the machine is not designed to do small loads. He ran a diagnostics and found nothing wrong. The machine should be able to sense the size of the load and work properly. This is supposed to be an energy efficient machine. So having to run a drain and spin cycle every time is not very efficient let alone being a total pain in the [censored].

Maytag Dishwasher
I purchased a Maytag dishwasher from Lowes in September 2020. They recommended ordering early even though it was not needed until Feb 2021. The item was delivered in Feb 2021. We checked the box and it was not damaged. The item was installed in March 2021. We ran the dishwasher for the first time on March 29. It leaked water on the floors and into the basement ceiling. The installer was called back, pulled out the machine, lifted the white insulation and found that the back was dented in causing a hole for the water to leak from.
I contacted Lowes who would not help because it was 30 days beyond the purchase and was told I needed to deal with Maytag
Maytag scheduled a service rep from VIA to come out to "repair the item". The service rep said it looked like it had been hit with a forklift and was not repairable. He said he would contact the Maytag rep to advise.
Three days later I heard nothing so I called Maytag. The customer service rep said the last note in my file was "That's a NO".
When she researched "that's a NO" further it appears that the VIA service rep followed the wrong' process. That he should have contacted the diagnostic team. They planned to send another rep out today to follow the correct process. However I was contacted by the service rep that Maytag had reviewed the notes and determined that all they needed to do was send a new tub.
I spoke with several people at Maytag questioning how a new tub was going to repair the dent in the frame. They did not have a good answer. They also told me the new tub is on back order with no scheduled delivery date.
Desired outcome: I want Maytag to replace this item, pay for the replacement of my buckled hardwood floors, the drywall on the ceiling in the basement and installation of the new machine

Washing machine
Purchased there too if the lone top loader and after less than 5 months it stopped working. Waited a month to get someone out to look at it through Maytag warranty only to have them tell me it will be 8-12 more weeks till the parts come in. I called Maytag and they will not replace the machine I just have to wait till it can be fixed. Purchased washer on 2/17/2018 along with matching gas dryer. It was delivered and installed on 3/52018. 3 year extended warranty began 2/17/2018 expired 2/16/2021.
Started having problem with lid in 2020. The left had bottom side of lid that meets with metal to help close it. Started breaking off. It is made of plastic. It finally broke off so bad lid that I couldn't use washer. The lid would not lock.
Contacted Lowe's and spoke to service extended warranty representative. They sent out Dependable Appliance company [protected]) on August 18, 2020 and a new new lid was installed on August 26, 2020.
I contacted them since the same problem is happening again. Was told that the company warrants labor and parts for 90 days. They are coming out next Wednesday to repair. Which I am going to have to pay for poor workmanship/design.
This is a manufacturing problem. From various websites it appears a lot of complaints have been issued for this same exact problem. The lid is breaking off at the lower left bottom side.
Please advise how are you going to resolve/compensate me for this issue.

Patricia, I have the exact same model and I purchased the washer from Home Depot on May 4, 2019. The exact side lid hinge broke 21 months later. I have not contacted Home Depot, but I have received a quote from a repairman for $400.00, which is ridiculous. I called Maytag's toll free number and they just wanted me to order the parts, pay for them and hire someone to install it.
Dishwasher Repair
Maytag Dishwasher Model no. MDB8959SKB, Serial no. FX1501204. Maytag Service Provider: J & H Factory Service, job # SWPP2248C418-1, phone [protected]. The pump failed about 02/01/2021 and service rep came on 02/07/2021, diagnosed the problem as a failed pump and said a new one would have to come from Maytag - would take about 3 weeks. Talked to Maytag today ( 8 weeks after the service rep's visit) and got a polite version of the old Razzle Dazzle, but no commitment as to when or if part would be shipped. How long do I have to wait before Maytag admits they can't fix my dishwasher and agrees to replace it? It's obvious to me that Maytag stocks no spare parts in the US and the needed pump will have to come from China, if there any spares there. I know I shouldn't have expected much for only $700, but I thought it would last at least a year or that Maytag would honor their warranty. So far, I have been wrong on both counts.

Maytag Bravos Washer and Dryer
Avoid Maytag! Worst products and customer service I have ever encountered. Our dryer had to be fixed two months after purchase because of overheating and being considered a safety hazard. Maytag sent someone to fix it. Less than a month later same problem. This time we had a local company come and look at it. We were informed that the person Maytag sent had installed the replacement heating element incorrectly and it was a disaster waiting to happen. It had gotten so hot on the middle setting that the paint peeled off the inside vents. Now for the washer. In February our washer was just four years old. I put in a small load and started it. A horrible, very loud noise started. Like a metal on metal sound. I immediately turned it off and called Maytag. They promptly sent a person out to look at it. I was informed that it was the motor and he told me that it was covered under the 10 year limited warranty. He had to order the part or parts and scheduled an appt for two weeks out. He did say it could take longer and I understood. I was given the job number so I could check the status online. The repair company canceled the appt. the day before it was scheduled due to the parts not being in yet. On March 23rd I checked the site and was surprised to see that the job was marked completed and billed. I called to ask Maytag if they could find out what the problem was. I also asked why 5 different parts were ordered, including a new dispenser which was not part of the problem. Turns out Maytag informed them that the part of the motor that was malfunctioning was not covered. They could not explain to me why a dispenser, a motor, a wash plate, an aquator, and a drive hub were ordered. The repair company then closed the account out as completed. I was told that the repair company claimed that reached out to me without success. Phone records proved that to be untrue. When I asked how Maytag could make it right their response was to tell me to fill out a customer complaint form against the repair company that Maytag sent and that was the best they could do. It took over 4 hours to get to that point. The only person who got screwed in this whole scenario was me. Not Maytag and not the repair company. We were able to get someone local, once again, and it can be fixed for a third of the price because only two parts are actually need. I have since had the chance to speak to other Maytag product owners and I now wish we had done our due diligence before we purchased our products. I understand that things can go wrong with machines but the worst part of our experience was the poor customer service that Maytag offered. Not once did they attempt to take any responsibility. They were just intent on me filing a complaint against the repair company they sent. That should have been the responsibility of Maytag. Never again.
Refrigerator
We have a Maytag refrigerator that is less than three years old. The shelf frame broke so we contacted Maytag to order a part. It was back ordered so long that another part broke due to the strain from the damaged piece so we had to order yet another part. We are going on 4 months and still do not have the original part making the fridge almost unusable! We keep contacting the customer service and they keep saying there is nothing they can do and the date keeps getting pushed back. We are at our wits end and nobody at Maytag will even listen to us. E will never buy from the company again!
