cold and unfriendly climate
I AM traveling on the 11:40am Megabus from NYc to Boston and like many others, am freezing. It's January 11th and freezing outside so why would anyone want to travel on a bus that's freezing for hours?!
We are ALL riding on our hats, gloves, scarves, coats and I find this to be unacceptable. When asked to turn the air off the driver quickly turned something and made the air blow harder and colder. This is the second time that I've taken Megabus & it is definitely my last. The drivers aim to please themselves and not the customer which is upsetting because we are the ones who pay and help keep Megabus in operation. This is ridiculous and something has to be done. Your driver's actions were rude and uncalled-for. I'm positive that we will become I'll from this trip.

I took a trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas Nevada June 8th leaving Los Angeles at 12:45 arriving in Las Vegas at 6 35 I believe and I would like to report an injury I tripped and fell yesterday and I injured my left ribs. As of today January 9th it is 11:53 a.m. my ribs is still injured hurting I bruise them really bad I hit them on one of the seats armrest that lifts up and down I don't know who to contact about this matter so I'm putting in this complaint because of this matter please contact me back at email address [protected]@gmail.com or [protected]
driver swerving!!!
This is my first megabus ride: notmally it and greyhound.
I am currently on a megabus ride at 12:03 am Jan 3 from Dallas to Atlanta. The driver has been swerving terribly! It got so bad I went to go check on her and ask if she was ok. She replied" Why are you asking"? I replied "Because its very bumpy and you went off the road a little". She blamed it on construction and said she couldn't help it. A bus ride is to be relaxing not anxiety stricken. ..

I am a loyal customer and I am very dissapointed with the service and ride on 12 10 ur driver picked us up in a white bus and from the beginning of the trip there was a grinding sound heard thru out the cabin a metel on metel scraping togather sound which the driver never explaned what was going on and then getting to new york city we break down in the lincoln tunnel half way through and had to be towed out and still ur driver never explaned what was going on and then to be towed out he stated we can either wait for another bus or we can take our bags and go I am a diebetic and use a cane and I have never been more dissapointed in ur bus service in my life urs truly theodore r smalls
they failed to update my tickets information
September 11, I booked 4 bus tickets of Megabus from Charlotte, NC to Washington D.C. on December 10, followed by 4 bus from D.C. to New York and the flight to Beijing, China. I got the reservation number 3/[protected]-M37R-1205-CHR-WAS and the confirmation with the address of the station for departure, Bus Bay #3 Whitton Street, between Dewitt Ln and South Blvd.
When I went to the station 11:30 am on December 10, half an hour before the scheduled time for departure, 12:05 pm. I waited til 12:30 and then was told by other passengers that Megabus had changed the departure address for this trip. However, I never got update for my tickets and there is no any notice or sign at the address on my tickets to inform the change.
Megabus never consider for their customers. For their reason, I missed their bus, also the followed bus from Washington D.C to New York.
For catching the flight back to China, I have to pay more than 1300 dollars for my family flying to New York instead.
Since it is totally Meagabus's negligence on noticing the change of station, I request Megabus to compensate my loss of all the missed bus and all the extra cost due to their fault, total 1439.3 dollars.
lost luggage
So on december 7 I took mega bus to nyc for my birthday. Got there and the driver had put our bags on the curb. Grabbed what I thought was my bag and left. The next morning. I opened the luggage to get something and found that the contents were not my things I called mega bus to file complaint. Stressing the fact that I had no clothes, undies, socks, my id, check books, jewelry gifts, shoes ect.. We're in the bag and I had nothing to wear in the freezing weather.3-5 days they said it's been pass that so they contact me said no new information and that will still be looking. I ask if they have a reimbursement policy. The rep wouldn't answer the question I need help here

I believe the only obvious solution for this complaint would be a full refund being that the services I paid for were not received.

Our college student is stranded because Megabus oversold a coach bus and deceptively listed it as a double decker. This is awful! What are we going to do with him more than 100 miles away?
My freshman is nowstuck in Richmond, VA because the driver told him the bus (which was NOT a Megabus) morning was too full. We paid the 48 for a seat on a double decker. Why did the double decker change to a regular coach too full in matter of hours?

On 10/2/1, I purchased 3-one way tickets from Atlanta to Fayetteville. (Reservation# 87/89-1619-101218-M97R-2300-ATL-FAY). This was my first experience with Megabus and after reviewing the website, my two children and I were actually looking forward to it. The website boasted about the luxury and comfort of the vehicle as well as the free wifi. I paid an additional $5 so that we could enjoy the panoramic views as we traveled. Our bus was set to depart at 11pm. The bus was approximately 45 minutes late forcing me and my two children to have to stand outside, in the cold, for 45 minutes awaiting its arrival. When the bus finally arrived, we were offered nothing in response to that-not even an apology. When we finally got on the bus, we were seated in the front where our panoramic view was disrupted by a cracked windshield. I sat on that side for the sake of my kids. Unfortunately, I was not able to set my bags on the floor of the bus because at my feet was a large puddle of a sticky substance that had not been cleaned up for awhile obviously. When we sat down, we immediately attempted to plug in our phones and access the free wifi. During the entire trip, 7.5 hours, we were unable to access megabus wifi. Not once in 7.5 hours did we have the free wifi that the website boasted about. This was my ultimate selling point and I was extremely disappointed when I was never able to access the service. While the driver did get us to our destination safe and sound, I was extremely disappointed in the experience. I expected to ride in luxury and comfort with free wifi as advertised and that was definitely not what I occurred. I am requesting a full refund for the 3 tickets purchased. Thank you.

I was taking the bus from Toronto to Montreal
63/64-9159-102218-2720R-1230-TOR-MON. and during the stop to Kingston we barely stop 5 min no time for anyone to do or get anything. We asked if we could at least have just a minute to get something and we were told that we would be left behind. (Rudely). Complete lack of service. Traveling by Megabus was not a good experience. I order a bus ticket on 10/18/18 (Thursday) I order it for the 10/19/18 From ATL to Montgomery leaving Atl at 10:45 pm . The bus never came. I didnt get notification about anything. I would like a refund or at least get another ticket. This is not my first time purchasing a ticket from Mega bus. I am a loyal customer please resolve this issue!

filthy - poop & urine in the vents
The way to Atlanta was fine. HOWEVER, the way back was horrible. The bus driver never cleaned the bathroom from his previous ride. The vvents had about 9 hours worth of urine and feces scent coming out of it. The bus driver that transferred the rest of the way emptied the toilets after I complained...she even told me to file a complaint. She was nice, very funny as well. There was a pregnant woman suffering from the smell. Unforunately, the customer service team will not contact me back. Not to mention, we were 2 hours late which would entitle me to a refund...however they are dodging my emails and calls. I considered riding with them again until they ignored my emails.

Came an hour early to my 11pm bus, but saw that the 10pm bus from NY to DC was half empty so I asked if I could board. The ticket-master said it'd be $5 each (there were two of us) which was a total ripoff. If It wasn't so darn cold out in NY, then I wouldn't have taken that deal. But for real, that cannot be protocol. Many other ticket-masters have let me go on by especially since the buses have a lot of space.
broke down
Bus leaving from 30th st Philadelphia 11:05am going to NY on 10/6/2018... broke down and hour away on the side of the road. We had to wait for another bus to come pick us! I'm traveling with 2 other people and we made reservations in NY, which we will now miss. And it shortened our time there. I need a refund. This is inconvenient, frustrating and ridiculous.
They didn't purposely break down just to inconvenience you. It happens in travel. Hell, it happens with your own vehicle from time to time. They sent a replacement to get there as soon as they could.

I reserved seat from NY to downtown Buffalo we were supposed to board the bus at 7:45 pm the bus didn't arrrive until approximately 9:20 pm. On my trip back from downtown Buffalo to NY the bus smell really horrible due to a bad odor in the rest room. Lastly only one side of the bus had power to charger your electronics which cause confusion on the bus in which we almost could've had another possible delay if they would've switched the bus out. This is the first time I had this experience.

We booked our tickets for the 8 AM bus today from Princeton to NY and we're at the bus stop since 7:45 AM. There were other passengers as well. There was no 8 AM bus at all and we had to convince the 9 AM driver to let us in. We received no communication regarding any cancellations and we lost more than an hour waiting for the bus which was never to come! Bad service!

I got on in Atlanta heading to Chicago asked about the WiFi's and was told it's not guaranteed but even bus I have been on do so now I have to ride 15 hour using my only data that I'm charged for monthly and I would like to be reimbursed for my data which is $ 15 thanks u every time I ride Megabus I have a problem and I will not be using this service again on Thursday sept.27, 2018 I rode from Chicago to Atlanta and the whole trip a lady was smoking a weed and a vapor pen on the top level of the bus so if u could refund my 59.00 dollar for that trip and bus was late going to Atlanta got there at12:30 instead of 11:50 thank u Laqueita gates

@7:22 pm September 24 2018 the driver is a male! EXTREME SWERVING! This whole ride I did not feel safe. He's almost ran a black sedan off road; he cut the sedan off by switching lanes. Seems to be falling asleep but driving is terrible and scary! Driver barely speaks English! He's driving as if he was a drunk driver! My family and I haven't felt safe since the ride to our destination. I pray we make it there with his driving !

I purchased a bus ticket for September 17th from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. The directions say that the bus will arrive between 10th and 11th street. That is a very broad range for a bus stop. That being said I was there early on that block by the makeshift bus stop sign. The bus did come but it didn't stop. when I called customer service the representative was very rude and basically said there are no refunds. I am not sure why there is not a refund when I was there but the bus didn't stop. I then asked to speak to a manager who was equally rude and said per policy there is no refund. When I asked her what the refund policy is she said she didn't know and that I would have to check the website for that information. How can a supervisor not know the refund policy. I did not end up getting a refund and ended up having to pay for the bus and a rental car.
