Terrible Service, Unprofessional, Damage Rims and Tire Rod during basic maintenance I know this is long but what Mr. Tire’s Manager and Senior Tech did was terrible service. COSTS: I am out $495, ($345 if you assume the alignment was value added work) $40 for a tire mount balance with two damaged rims, another $150 for an alignment, another $80 for...

I had new tires/Mastercraft shipped to MR Tire for mounting ,
when i picked up the car i noticed a bubble on the side wall.
the store told me it was not caused by them.
I was not happy, as they just threw away my old tires.
I was even more upset that i had to notice the problem,, they didn't.
20 minutes later i went to another place and bought a used tire..$40
that installer showed my where the new tire that Mr Tire installed was split at the bead by an aggressive installation.
Mr Tire is responsible for the issue,, !

Plese help
Ronald Musarra
They just kept making excuses,, i have had many tire mounted from that same location.
Desired outcome: Payment for the 1 tire $90.97

On 22 July while travelling through North Carolina I noticed a tire pressure was low. Upon inspection I saw a nail near the center of the tire. I made an appointment at Mr. Tire location 1728 Fordham Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC. 27514 for 9AM on the 24th of July. As soon as they opened, I talked to the front desk person, and he checked me in. He estimated 45 to 1...

In Sept ‘22 I took my $100k sports-car to have a tire plugged. I felt secure leaving it with them since I knew a couple of guys that worked there. Bad idea. When I picked the car up, something was off, the manager said that they had taken it for a road-test. A test that was not required, nor did I authorize it. So I reviewed the dash-cam footage to reveal...

I paid for two AC compressor installations at the Boone, NC location. Both times they were installed incorrectly, leaving the vehicle with no AC. I paid over $1,000 dollars for faulty service and AC charging costs. I was told by their store manager, Heather how truly sorry she was and she would refund me for one of the service bills. She issued a refund...

my wife came in for an O2 sensor R&R at your Newport News, Va location, guest #[protected], Invoice # 179473. I fully understand there is markup in any part, as I ran the Hilton Village Big Al's Automotive location for a year, but over 300% mark up on a part. this is ridiculous, and not customer friendly. The part was a 17319 bosch O2 an can be purchased...

I went to Mr. Tire's lochearn location on Saturday July 8, 2023 to get some hair for my tires and two employees on duty that afternoon were the rudest workers I've ever been serviced from. They never greeted me, they never told me what their names were, and the vibe from them was very cold. They treated me as if I was a stranger on the street and I didn't...

Read full review of Mr. TireTPS sensor
On 6/21/23 in LaVale MD the technician outright lied to me at every juncture.
- said my existing working sensor could not be reinserted and insisted I needed to buy a new one
- told me all the other sensors were broken and needed to be replaced or the system could not be reset, suggested I spend over $500 to replace all 4 sensors
- I cut my losses and paid $140 for the one sensor that was installed
- after I paid for the sensor and left the low pressure messages were still displayed and upon checking I found that air was needed in all four tires. When I called to inquire they insisted all had been filled to 35 lbs
- the tire in which the new sensor was installed was sent out with only 20 pounds of air.
- after all tires were restored to normal pressure the TPS error messages cleared and did not come back on. So much for his saying that the TPS system could not be reset without replacing all four sensors.
Desired outcome: Full refund for the $140 sensor I paid for, since the entire service was based on fraudulent claims by the technician.
Brakes and rotor replacement
I took my Mazda 5 in for service at the Bryans Road Mr. Tire. I went the day before for inspection . I returned and was told to come in with my parts . I attempted to pay with my credit card, but was required to pay via CashApp. I left and my van made very loud clanging noises. I returned. The manager and the gentleman who did the repairs drive my vehicle. I was told to drive it and it would balance and the sound would stop. It has not stopped. I requested a refund via Cashapp and he declined my request. I called the Mr. Tire and was yelled at by the person on duty who refused to provide his name. My vehicle is damaged and the brakes are making noises as well. I attached the card I was given and told to pay via CashApp.
Desired outcome: I would like a full refund and repair to my vehicle.

I had my car serviced (oil changed, tire rotation, etc.) May 19, 2023 at Mr. tire in Waldorf, Md. I saw a puddle of oil under the car today. My wife the to work, I call the to complain about the leakage and told them about the leakage and the damage to my property. I returned to the shop to have the problem corrected, the manager said that there is no leak and the tech didn’t clean the bottom part of the car. He had another tech check or fix it. However, I noticed the tech had to add additional oil to refill. My main issue is making sure there’s no and how to clean our driveway. I ask if they had something to absorb the oil from our driveway and he said they are not responsible for anything outside the shop.
This is totally wrong, because of your error(s), oil stains and oil puddle in our driveway. I demand you either have someone come and remove the oil and stains or compensate us for cleaning and cleaning materials. I can be reached at [protected] (h) or [protected] (m). My name is Ernest S. Peoples Sr. email address is E.[protected]@verizon.net. Thank you for your prompt response to this issue.
Desired outcome: I demand you either you have someone clean oil and oil stains or compensate us for cleaning the oil and stains and materials needed to clean the oil and oil stains.
Commonwealth of PA. vehicle emissions inspection
On 5/19/2023 I took my car for state PA. inspection. For the past few years I have been taking my 2002 Toyota Camry to Mr. Tire Auto Center 1134 Washington Pike Shop 0892 for service. My car has been exempt for emissions inspection due to age and low mileage. I average a little over 1,000 miles annually. This year I noticed all the employees were new. I informed them of my past emissions exemptions at Mr. Tire and therefore would not need an emissions test. Without my knowledge they conducted an emissions test and it failed. They said that they were required to do the test because inspection was over a year. I explained that the car is not driven for 6 months while we are away. As soon as we return I get an state inspection. I can provide previous exemption inspections at Mr. Tire. I asked them even with being late for inspection what my mileage was the past year. It was the same as above. I was charged $47.94 for the test, and since it failed they would not complete the state inspection. I am requesting a refund for the emissions test and I am willing to pay for an state inspection as usual. Payment collected by M. Lackner, Tech W. Miller
Desired outcome: I'd appreciate a response, to my above request of refund and still willing to pay for State inspection. I have been a loyal customer for years. Thank you for your time and hopefully cooperation. Roy Sterner [protected]
Misrepresentation regarding warranty on tire
I went to the Mr. Tire store in Shrewsbury, Pa on 4/28/23 and purchased a new tire. I asked for an all weather tire and inquired about the warranty. I was offered a tire with a 40,000 mile warrantee or something with higher mileage at a higher cost. I chose the tire with the 40,000 mile warrantee. This was an unplanned purchase and the turn around time at 2 hours was fine. I found the manager to be very pleasant. When I looked at the paperwork the next day, I discovered that there was no warrantee attached. I called the store and was told they don't do that (issue warrantee data). A phone call today to Mr. Tire's complaint line revealed that the tire I was sold does not come with a warrantee other than the limited warrantee issued by the manufacturer. So I was sold a tire without a mileage warrantee. The customer service rep was disinterested and said if I had a problem with the tire, I could return it. I don't have a problem with the tire, but I do have a problem with the bait and switch tactic of their salesman. The attitude of customer service suggests that this is business as usual. Buyer beware.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology in the form of a warrantee on the tire for 40,000 as promised.
Service performed
We took our 2019 Chevy Trax we purchased 6 months earlier in for a basic oil change. He called to ask if we wanted to get tires and do the rear brakes which we declined and asked him to just proceed with the basic oil change. Imagine our surprise when picking up the car and being charged $103 for a basic oil change with the excuse that it was inflation and the type of oil used. We need our vehicle but didn’t think we should have been charged $103. He dropped the cost down to $70 but I’m not buying that a basic oil change should have cost that much an and I’d like some resolve to this.
Desired outcome: We would like this overcharge investigated as soon as possible because calling around a basic oil change for a car should not have cost $70
Tire sensors
9AM 4/20. Center #1420, 626 Pembroke Road, Greensboro, NC. Bought new tires. Was offered $200 rebate from MT if I got MT credit card. I was very hesitant about it and got out my credit card 3 times to pay bill. But employee kept urging me to take offer, making me feel dumb for not taking the money. Finally gave in only to find out it will come as a gift card NOT CREDIT toward my purchase. It was obvious I was not happy about this program.
Got tires on, went to another appointment and found my tires were no longer being sensed as they had been when I pulled in at 9AM. Went back and they had trouble diagnosing the problem, and manager said no sensors was problem. He offered to put them on for $79.99 a piece! The sensor was on the tire valve and should have come with old tire's valve. This incompetence at a TIRE SPECIALTY store was not acceptable.
I felt this shop made me feel "taken" the whole way and want some compensation for my loss. I will never use MT again, and plan to post negative comments of my experience if this does not get straight.
Desired outcome: Have me take car to Rice Toyota, have them replace sensors, MT cover cost. I don't trust MT to do it right at this point and feel this would at least make me feel whole while I battle to get rid of the credit card I never wanted.
