Air conditioner
On 7/3/22 my AC would blow cold air then start blowing hot air, I took it to 871 Route 33 Hamilton Square 08619 NJ, [protected]), and they told me I needed Freon,$293.18 because it leaked out, started to drive home, began to blow Hot Air again, I took it right back, they told me I needed a new AC Compressor, they put a new Air Compressor in on 7/5/22 $1174.65, was doing the same thing but then stopped, did not drive the car for a few days, went to store on 7/12/22 Cold Air was coming out, then it turned to Hot Air, I am taking it back on 7/13/22 at 1 pm, now they saying it is an O Ring that was bad and leaking, it does not make sense. I feel the problem from the beginning was the O Ring not the Compressor. I am 76 years old and do not drive that much. I have been going to Mr Tires since 2000, I feel I should not have to pay for the Compressor because they never checked the O Ring for a leak, I am not a Mechanic, but if I were a Mechanic I would look at the O Ring leaking first. Tire install
I made my appointment online and arrived early! They had no idea of my appointment until I got there, and they decided to look it up on the computer. I paid over $1600.00 for my new tires and my rims cost about the same. They damaged my rims and I am furious! Plus, they did not balance my new tires. I was there for over 3 hours! This was on May 17, 2022 and my appointment was at 3pm... They were not done until 6pm. Only after they had damaged my rims and took over 3 hours to put the tires on my truck, they told me they did not have the right equipment to do the job! Why was I not told this from the beginning? The Mr. Tire website recommended this location to put the tires on my truck. I am disgusted with the service I received and feel I should be compensated for my now damaged rims. I pointed this out to the manager and he tried to say it was the tire bead... It was not... My rims are scratched and the paint is missing.
Desired outcome: I feel I should be compensated for my rims that were damaged when they put the new tires on them.

My son moved to Virginia, 15 hours away from us. While I was visiting, we went to Mr Tire to get new tires. He had to go back several times to get them balanced. His vehicle continued to vibrate at high speeds. We sent him back there to get a diagnostic test done. He was told by the employee and manager that he needed a new transmission and a front axle...

I ordered rims through mr tire on Saturday and was told they would be in on Tuesday well it’s been 11 days later and still no rims.
I paid a outrageous price to have them order and do it because was told they would have them in couple days if I would of known this I would have ordered myself and got them much quicker and for almost 300 dollars less a rim so not only paid a outrageous price it’s taking much longer then if I did it myself .I spent 4000 dollars and am not pleased at all .I was going to give mr tire more business through my business but now am really considering other places I’m not asking for nothing free I am looking for somewhat of a discount due to this untimely matter .if you have any questions feel free to contact me at [protected] or [protected]@yahoo.com

Defrauding practice
My truck was serviced at Mr. Tire Auto Service Centers
718 Cady Dr, Fort Washington, MD 20744 · [protected] on March 19, 2022, for tire and nothing else. My husband waited for a while and later asked me to pick him up. Prior to that he had mentioned they had my all the tires off my truck and was preparing to install the new tires. After he left the shop, we received a call stating that my truck brakes needed to be changed out because the pad and rotors were bad. Thye could have mentioned the brakes prior to him leaving the shop, but I guess he would have asked to see the brakes and that would have spoiled the plan altogether.
My husband proceeded to inform them that my brakes did not need to be changed and the technician asked my husband didn't he want his wife to be safe. I informed my husband to tell the technician that vehicle is being serviced at my ford dealership and that I have a packaged. My truck was already serviced, and my brakes were fine and because Mr. Tire tried to scam me, I had my truck service again on the 23rd of March after it malfunction on the 22nd, and I was informed that my brakes were fine by my dealerships, plus my brakes are under warranty. I will never trust them again and you shouldn't either.
To recap my truck was in the shop for brakes only on March 19, 2022, and on March 22, 2022, my truck began to malfunction. I can't say if incidents are anyway related, but I didn't have any issues until I took my truck to this place.
I'm extremely disappointed with this company and the practice of defrauding customers into unwanted services/false services.

Breaks, Caliper and Rotter
I paid alomost $800 today for new caliper with rotter and break pads service at Mr.Tire. While driving back home i alomost got killed while driving because caliper came right off and stuck to wheel and I lost control on my vehicle and but ended up safely pulling over.
I would never ever go to Mr.tire for any service because this incident proved that this guys are not professional trained people and who can ripped you up for your money and give you so poor service where you almost god killed.
They have to fix my car or give me my money back and pay for any damages.

Again, I feel screwed after dealing with the Mr. Tire on Peters Creek Road in Roanoke VA. The only reason I keep going back is that I had my tires put on there and I have lifetime tire rotation and balancing. However, next time I will pay another place to do what I should be getting for free. This is not my first time filing a complaint. I went to pick up my car and noticed my bill was high. I noticed I had been charged $18.99 to reset my tire pressure monitor and I had already spoke with a young lady at corporate about 9 months ago who told me, and I quote, "That is absurd. You should have never been charged for that." I pointed this out to Trevor (who by the way, is a terrible manager and has the personality of a log) and was told that that was not included in my life time package. I told him that I spoke with someone at corporate and relayed what I was told and was met with silence and a blank stare. Then he said well, its not included. What?! Every later model car that I have ever been in has this monitor and it has to be reset when the tires are rotated. Its part of the package! I have been going to this particular store because of the convenience and the wonderful I use to get when Dwayne was the manager. This reset was ALWAYS included in the rotation at no cost until Trevor came along. I am so sick of dealing with this store; it gives all Mr. Tire stores a bad name!
Desired outcome: I want this unfair charge taken off of my bill. I know its not much money, but at this point, its the principle of the whole thing and I am so sick of getting screwed by this store and just having to suck it up with no recourse.

I took my Jeep to Mr. Tire because i had a nail in my tire. I dropped it off on a Monday morning in the night drop. When they open, I called the store to make sure that they had gotten my keys and were aware of the Jeep being there and was told by the gentleman that answered the phone that they had my keys, and he would call me back as soon as they looked at the Jeep. After not hearing from them, i called them back at 4 pm and the gentleman that answered the phone said I will call you right back but never did. I waited until the next day and still had not gotten a call, so I went to the store only to be told that I had 3 nails in my tire and would need a new tire, but they couldn't get a tire for 2 weeks. My car was parked in the same place that I left it the day before. I went online and ordered the tire and had it at my home the next day. So, I took my car to Precision Tune and was called and told that i didn't need a new tire and there were not 3 nails in my tire and the nail that was showing never penetrated the tire, it was just stuck in the grove, and they pull it out with their hand. Mr. Tire manager straight out lied to me and never touch my car after I dropped it off. If this is the way this establishment does business it sad to say how many people, they have taken advantage of. I will never take my car there again. I have informed my neighbors, friends and parishioners.

On 11/15/21 I went to mr tire location in Frederick Md. Patrick street location; I didn't get the tires I was looking for so I went to their recommendation PARAGON TOUR. 6 days later I noted the rear tire driver side was loosing air, So i did my self inspection to see what was wrong. I have experience fixing tires if I see nail I have my own kit, But didn't see no nails. Start thinking probably loosing air because the valve stem(part of warranty) or just bad tire(part of the warranty) Then I bring my car to this location to them I explained the issue this happens 9 days after new tire installation, my first surprise was at this time I wasn't Mr. Preza. Quick they didn't have time gave me a schedule to take look the tire on Friday 11/26/21, 11 days so far now. After they did inspection they come to me and told me a nail on tire and can't no repair need to order a new tire. Weird for 5 days I was looking for this nail or something to figure why loosing air to fixing by my self and done. BUT MIRACLE NAIL IN TIRE.. soon I leaf, Yes nail was there and I did see it in the night time and following day nail still there. They order a new tire replacing and charge me because was road hazard coverage and I didn't have it. $93.00 paid. The point here is they did put the nail into the tire because they knew it I didn't have coverage and I know the problem was a bad tire or the valve stem and here my warranty would be coverage. When I bring these questions to them before paid $93 they got offended. 11/27/21.

Tire replacement
My son got his tires at the mount airy location of Mr. Tire a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, he picked up a nail near the sidewall of the tire. He took the car to a location on Berger road in Columbia Maryland for repair last week at 3pm and they told him to pick it up by 6pm. They never called him, but when he returned before 6, they were already closing the doors and then told him that all the mechanics left at 4pm, so they did not fix his tire. He then took it in for repair at the mount airy store last night. The store rep called me this morning and said the tire needed to be replaced and he had a tire of the same make and model. I reminded him that we had road hazard protection. He then said he needed to see if they had a tire. He came back on and said they did, so I asked him to go ahead and install it. He called back 30 minutes later and said that it turns out that they didn't have the same tire, but had a comparable one. I said, you are the tire expert, is this ok, to mix and match tires. He assured me that it was. I said, ok, put it on, but if it does not work, you are going to put the right tire on. He said it would be fine. I just spoke to my neighbor who is more of a car guy than me. He assured me that it IS NOT OK TO MIX AND MATCH TIRES. He went on to tell me of the many times he had bad service and dishonesty from the Mr Tire in Mount airy and that he would never use them again. He said, based on the details that I shared, that the store likely had the tire, but did not want to have an odd number in inventory, so they stuck us with a junk tire. I just saw the invoice and the tire they installed is a much lower quality tire. I am extremely disappointed. I understand that it is a business and upcharges and substitutions help with profitability, but their reputation is taking a hit. They need to reign these guys in. Ordered online/Appointment scheduled - tires not available at the store
I have ordered tires (Item #: MAA244018 ) online on 10/26/21, scheduled an appointment at the store in Indian Trail NC for the 10/27/21.
Arrived at the store in the morning of 10/27, the gentleman was very helpful and started checking the info on his computer. It took a while and he found out that they do not have the tires available, although the website informed it did (thus requiring the appointment).
He then apologized and was not sure why the website would showed the items available.
My compliant isn't against the store itself, as they we very helpful, but against the company Mr. Tire, for publishing misleading information on their website.
I wasted my time ordering the tires/scheduling appointment and then driving to the store. Mr. Tire definitely need to get their act together, as not to do that to any other customers.

-After the maintenance service was completed, I noticed these new purple marks along the top left side of my car door and scratch mark on the backside of the rear view mirror. When I explained these marks to them, the manager said the technicians did not mention it in the technician intake form even though the techs mention other minor scratches that were already there prior to the maintenance. I asked why did they not mention these large purple /scratches marks if they were already there before the maintenance? The manager said the technicians may have forgotten or did not check all the way. He went on and said something could have fallen down from the sky and hit the car, and started mentioning other "ideas" rather than admitting their mistake. I asked them to send me the technician intake form to my email, as he asked for my email, i never got the form. I am very disappointed with this experience. They were unprofessional and I always had positive experiences coming here.

On line quote for new tires.

I received an on line quote for 4 new tires, mounting, and disposal of old tires from them and scheduled an appointment with them (9/17/2021). Upon receiving a call saying the work was completed I asked what the final price was, the quote did not include tax. I was surprised to be given a price far above what my on line quote was. I was told I would need to talk to the manager when I came in. In short, an alignment was added to my on line quote by them, I did not request one on my on line order. The manager told me that as it was on THEIR paperwork, and that the work had already been performed . there was nothing he would do beyond a discount on the alignment.
I understand I did sign their copy of the work order that they added the alignment to, but as I did not request an alignment originally I feel this is a way for them to "pad" the bill, and that I was cheated by having paying for a service I didn't ask for or want.
Desired outcome: Their solution. I got a discount on a services I didn't ask for or want.
Battery Inspection
Can you please explain what a battery inspection includes when getting an oil change and my tires rotated (tires were purchased from Mr. Tire). I was told they would inspect my battery. It literally died the next day! I had to be towed. When i asked Mr Tire in Severna Park why they missed my battery was dying, they said that they only "look" at it. They don't test it. Wth?

Did a break job in front car with Mr. Tire on East Ridge Rd, Rochester NY. I kept hearing a noise. So I decided to take it back to them. They never checked it. They check something else. They told me the had to remove something else that was rubbing against it and it was OK now. Still hear the noise. Took it to dealer ship for a complete inspection. They told me break pad were broken. Also a hard ware kit was never put on. Mr. Tire do not want to resolved my problem. My number is 585.505.3945.. can someone call me to rectify this issue.
