I purchased a 2017 Nissan Maxima in March 2019. This was a purchase outside a Nissan Dealership. At the time, the car had only 1900 miles. I took it to a Nissan dealer to get an oil change. Since it is the first time for the car to be serviced at this dealership, they went through the car's records in their data system. They then informed me the car's VIN #...

I have bought a Nissan Quashqai 2016 (no. 1696020, engine no 292311) & my car was doing extremely fine until 50, 000 km service was routinely done at Nissan agent (El Sabe3) & since then (for 11 continuous months), I have been experiencing a heating problem that they could not fix over such a long time with extreme inconvenience & waste of time & effort with a different explanation of the cause of the problem each time. Finally my car was received by Nissan Autoegypyt since 05-Jan-2019 & they claimed that it is a problem with water pipe (attached is the claimed part). They claimed that they ordered this spare part abroad & it has been now 3 months with the car at the agent (can not even move) I have made several complaints at Nissan hotline (complaint no 14501) & the only response I got was very non professional response (no exact date of delivering the part, I am not allowed to be given the serial no of this spare part to even to try to get it on my own abroad, no one to contact directly in Nissan). I am a physician & faculty member & now I do not have my car for 3 whole months, not to mention 9 previous months of total waste of my time & disruption to my work & entire life schedule. I can not believe that Nissan company can accept such a poor non professional customer service & that it takes such a long time to provide a spare part not to mention the extremely bad customer service. Now car license renewal is due & no one at Nissan Egypt is responding!
speedometer nissan teana

2014 nissan versa note
I would not recommend that anyone buy a nissan. I am having the same exact problems with my 2014 nissan versa note that it appears everyone has and that there is a lawsuit against nissan for. When I bought it I was told that my warranty ended in 10/2019 but it turns out it was 1/20/2019 and today I had to pay money on top of the rental fees I already had to pay while no one could figure out what was wrong with it. The fact that there is a very known issue (since everyone is complaining about it, there is no way that nissan can't know) and I had to pay for it right out of a warranty that I was given wrong dates on is beyond upsetting. Trying to call is absolutely useless. I was told my "case" would be put in so i'm sure that it can just disappear and never be addressed again. I got the company statement that i'm sure they are told to say that the people in the lawsuit didn't keep their transmissions up but I read it and the paperwork indicates otherwise. Obviously this is just a terrible car that has known problems that the company will not take care of. So not only is it a terrible product but the way they do thinks makes them a terrible company. I will be working on trading my car in as soon as possible and never buying a car from nissan again or recommending them to anyone. Beyond unsatisfied.
I am having the same exact problem with my 2014 Versa tranny went out! Nothing they can do about it they told me because past warranty and my vin was not part of the recall! [censored]!
the service centre suck!!!
They just dont know what to do.. Their only reason coz they're new and their equipment is yet ready.. So in my opinion, they should not open for business if they're not ready to serve the customers. They can't do aircond servicing, they can't check the customers details and services histories.. All they can do is just normal car service! Not just that! They dont even wash ur car after the service😡 what type of services is that? Just wasting our time here and we have to call another service centre just to book to service the aircond. We are so disappointed with the services.
2017 nissan frontier
I purchase a 2017 Frontier in November of 2017. I had the truck which I was very happy for 3 months when I notice paint chipping on my truck. I went to my dealer Dick Smith in Columbia, South Carolina where I purchase the truck. They sent pictures to Nissan and told me Nissan isn't responsible for that after I did file a claim. I went to the body shop and told me it was a bad paint job and they said they send Nissan a letter stating this. I'm still waiting for a reply back from Nissan.

Hi,
I purchase a brand new Nissan Note 1.2cc (non turbo) on 18 November 2016 ever since then, my car's engine have been giving me major problems, from the first few months until now the car cannot pick up acceleration and I have been going back to 913 bukit timah Road, Singapore 589623 for many many times, the problem still cannot be resolve.
Initially it was the engine brake that was switched off, then gear box changed and now the car keeps jerking when I try and go above 3000rpm when overtaking and the car refused to pick up speed.
Please help..
nissan patrol
Hi,
I bought a Nissan Patrol 2017 on promotion for Autostar (Eastern Ring Road branch) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 7, 2019, from a salesman named Khaled. He promised me that tires are covered under warranty by Nissan Alissa and hence there's no need to check them. But when I went to Alissa yesterday after facing problems with the tires, they refused to entertain me. And when I went back to Autostar they also denied the claim. This has completely ruined my trust in Nissan. I need your urgent support to resolve this issue, please.

Nissan sylphy 2014
Dear Sirs
First of all, we are disappointing on the customer service after sales in Malaysia. Secondly we also disappointed on Japan HQ as they did not want to serve our complaint of our case.
We bought Nissan sylphy since year 2014 and we facing gear box problems throughout from first year until third year and even now. Nissan Malaysia had changed us one time gear box and couldn't solve the problem permanently. As for now, it out of warranty period, Nissan Malaysia still not solve the gear box problem and left this problem to us at our own cost.
Is this the global standard how Nissan treat their customer?
We seriously look for customer satisfaction in this issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me at [protected]@hotmail.com
We look forward from your serious reply.
Thanks
the engine and catalyst converter
I bought my 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5 two years ago at 138, 000 miles. She passed emissions and everything was looking good. Two weeks later my husband took it to work for routine maintenance like oil change and tire rotation and other inspections just to make sure she was healthy. Brings the car home and I'm in the car getting ready to leave and as soon as I start the car it starts smoking. Come to find out nissan put some faulty [censored] catalytic converters on all 2005 nissan Altimas which in return was damaging the entire engine. Nissan has taken no accountability for these problems and its costing us the consumer of this so called safe and affordable vehicle thousands and thousands of dollars to fix on top of the existing car payment that we have to make. I want Nissan to grow a pair of balls and fix the problems that I'm having during to the cheap parts they put into my car.

Read full review of Nissannissan rogue
You would think that with technology we would be able to get the science of transmission performance exact. But, with the 2013 Nissan and it's CVT transmission, that is the opposite. Thought through the recession, that Nissan would be able to have their act together, but nope, they don't. My Nissan has been serviced every 3, 000 miles since I got it in 2014 no matter what, and then... poof, the transmission goes out with no indication of going bad. Now, it has 135, 211 miles (all highway) and way beyond the 10 years (not 10 years old), or 120, 000 miles (certainly yes). I will never go back to Nissan. Was certainly at the time, happy, but they certainly disappointed me quickly. I now have an American named brand, Ford, and couldn't be happier. I know that my Nissan Rogue is made in the US, but it is junk. Pure junk. It now sits in my driveway, not doing me anything but taking my money. Thanks Nissan for making non-quality vehicles to pad your bottom dollar. And the American and Japanese engineers who allow this lack of quality be sold to consumers. I do hope that you come up with higher quality vehicles that have the dexterity that has the ability to actually make it ten years with no issues.
Again, thank you Nissan for disappointing me.
dealer complaint
Purchased a 2018 nissan murano from Greenville, TX dealership on December 20. I should have received the $750 customer holiday cash back bonus and did not. Basically they are getting that from nissan and keeping it for themselves.
Also, we wanted to file our TTL in Louisiana where we live. They told us they have to do it by Texas law. They charged us a $200 fee to do this for us. Well today we received a FedEx package with our paperwork, a Texas title, and a refund of most, but not all of our money. Now we have to do it ourselves AND they charged us $200 for a worthless TX dealership title? What kind of BS is this? We got nothing but the runaround with this dealership from day one..
sentra
I have a big problem with my Nissan 2018 Sentra car, I bought it one year a go,
First month I had a big problem with control in drive wheel (drixsion box), and after many negotstions they changed in warranty after 3 months from the frist report from the engineer.
- 3 months ago I heard a sound from the car it was strange so I went to the center of Nissan auto Egypt and informed them about the sound, they changed many parties in cars like the left ring of the front tires, and I went out and I found the same sound I return back the change the right ring for the front tires with the same result, next one they changed the two rings for the back tires with same result, they informed me to change the tires I did with the same result, so when I made a big shout and start to be angry they informed me that I have a big problem In my gear box and I should to change
What ahelll one year car and I faced all this perobelm!
nissan xtrail ht32
In 2015 I bought a Nissan Xtrail from a company that imports cars directly from Japan. It had '0' mileage. Please note that this is not through Sri Lanka agent. Now I have done 45, 000 kilometers. At 40, 000 kilometers I had to replace the water pump costing nearly US$475.00. Now at 45, 000 km I have to replace the right shock absorber arm as the bush is broken again costing US$150.00. This does not talk good about Nissan quality. My past experience is that these parts don't wear out easily. My maintennace is by the Sri Lanka Nissan agent. The technicians tell me that the water pump is an issue with this model. I am also told that there is a major gear box issue with this model and in fact I know one person who has suffered it at 6000km. Yes we did not buy from the agent but it is a Nissan and what do we do if we get such an expensive repair? In fact it is even difficult to sell the Xtrail because of this reason. I suggest that you replace these parts- even charging us a part and for the gear box a total replacement even though we did not buy from Nissan agent. Thank you
dealer rip off
Hi There,
I am sending you to complain about a bad service I received at a Nissan dealership in Australia, I sent to Nissan Australia on the 6th of December but I still didn't receive any reply till date.
I was servicing my Nissan X-Trail ST 2015 at Essendon Nissan in Melbourne, Australia on the 5th December 2018 for a 50, 000 Km service, I have been told when I dropped the car that the service will cost AU$ 232.
2 hours after I dropped the car a service representative rang me from the dealership saying that during the inspection of the car they found that the fuel injectors were blocked and the car is currently on the pressurized pump to clear the blockage and this will cost me AU$ 180!
I told him that this is not possible as I use premium fuel (98 Octane) and I didn't feel any problem when driving the car that proofs that there is a blockage in fuel injectors (I am an engineer and I know what I am talking about)
When I went to pick up the car I told the service representative that I am not happy with the story of the blocked fuel injectors and I want to see the service manager, he came back to me that the service manager is busy and will call you later which never happened till today!
I saw that this was a complete rip off as the car just came out of the warranty 2 weeks before I took it to service and the only purpose was to take money for no genuine reason.
I want to know if the fuel injectors can be blocked in a car that is only 50, 000 Km and using premium fuel? If so I will never by Nissan in the future as this will not be considered a reliable car to own!
Please I want a complete investigation with the dealership and a complete refund of this ripped off money.
Thanks
cvt
I bought this car with the intention of keeping it for years. Just recently the CVT went in my 2011 maxima @111k miles. I submitted a claim to Nissan and so did the dealer. Today I found out that Nissan cannot do anything for me in regards to this. I once owned a Chevy cobalt and that transmission did not fail until 127k. Nissan you had definitely let me down on this and I will never consider any other product of yours. To me your brand is tarnished and I will never ever recommend it to anyone. Thanks for nothing Nissan. To me you now rank up there with GMC with your inability to recognize and rectify a known problem.
nissan sentra gear box
Dear Sir/Madam;
I would like to complain about technical problems regarding the gear box of Nissan Sentra.
My compaint is about the vehicle with the following specifications:
Model: Nissan Sentra 2016
Chassee: 690
Motor: 977458
Assembled in: Egypt
Car number: 216 BAW (216 و أ ب )
1. I purchased the car in December 2015.
2.While still in the guarantee period, at 5, 000 kilometers, I realized a problem with the car's gear box transmission, which continued to persist.
3. In July 2018, at 14, 000 kilometers, Nissan's dealer in Egypt decided to totally replace the gear box upon discovering a major defect with it. It was replaced within the warranty period.
4. About two months later, the car developed a similar problem, apparent in the transient lack of acceleration that was quite obvious while driving.
5. While performing another check at Nissan's dealer, they claimed that there was no problem with the car and did not take any action to resolve the issue.
Apparently there is a serious problem with the mechanism of the gear box itself, since the same problem keeps re-occuring even after replacing the whole gear box.
Currently, the car is no longer safe to drive especially on long distances, given that such problem occurs unexpectedly.
In light of the above, I request an adequate compensation for the great inconvenience caused by this problem.
N.B: Nissan dealer in Egypt refused to provide any documents for the gear box replacement, yet all repair details are stored in their database.
Regards
no spare parts
My NISSAN Terrano vehicle broke down (after piston failure) on November 10th at Bangalore. It was towed away to M/s Shahwar Nissan on the same day and since then the Vehicle is at Shahwar Nissan Bangalore. I have been regularly following up with Nissan Customer Care and I have registered my complaints twice without any resolution. Initially while estimating the work Service Agent of M/s Shahwar Nissan informed that the work will take 7-10 days and approx cost will be Rs 25, 000 to Rs 30, 000. I gave the go ahead for the same. After that till date I havent heard anything from service agent. Repeatedly I have to follow up with NISSAN Customer Care to get an update for my Car. After a week I contacted Nissan Customer Care and they did a conference call with the Customer Care officer at Shahwar Nissan. She explained to me that it would take 15 days and there was one spare part (key ) which was out of stock and had to be shipped from a foreign country to Bangalore and only then repair could take place. Initially it was 7-10 days, which then became 15 days and after the last concall it became 25 Days. During this time the Service center did not inform me that they have the provision to provide me with a loaner vehicle. After my first escalation of complaint then they offered to provide me with a loaner vehicle. This took 3-4 days as all loaner cars were on loan. This monday I was offered Datsun Go vehicle which I refused since being 6 ft tall it is very inconvenient for me to use a small car like Datsun Go. Every time I am asking regarding the repair status of my car, but I get no answer to that.
How is it that a Nissan Terrano vehice has a shortage of spare parts in a market like India ? Cant a global company like Nissan not know when a spare part ordered will reach a service center ? or is it that this spare part is no longer available and hence my car cannot be repaired at all ?
