Points not transferred when card updated
Old Petro Points card changed to a new one as the old one doesn't tap. Points were not transferred to the new card. 88000 points were stolen by Suncore.
Called customer service.
They try to convince me that old account didn't show up and cannot be transferred. I still have monthly emails with an old account showing the balance.
It is real money theft. To say I'm disappointed is nothing to say. Such a shame.
Super car wash at petro canada gas station
Most of all the gas station if Petro Canada I have tried for car wash. In max. 2.5 minutes car comes out with wash and dry.
It does not wash or dry the vehicle. Time was 4.5 minutes earlier before 2 years.
I washed my car today at 8 pm. Sandlewood and airport road gas station with my season pass. Totally disappointed 😞. Top management has to take concrete steps to resolve this issue.
Let's see .
Gas purchase of 20 dollars but did not optain fuel at pre pay machine
Feuling up at a pre pay in Selkirk. Had problem following instructions, used my credit card, input pin, and then tried to fuel up gerry can. Asked me to select grade, and then replace nozzle. Did this and the machine would not start filling. Attendent in store told me to come in and pay first. I did this and asked her about whether the charge had gone though, she said no. I paid and then fueled up the can. Noticed today that both transactions went though. The first for 20 dollars, then the second which was larger as I purchased other product in store.
Desired outcome: return of the 20 dollars to my credit card.
Petro points app not working
The petrol Point app has not been working for minimum the last eight times I've went to Petro Canada for gas called up head office to try and get it resolved person I spoke with had no clue on how to fix it but kept asking for all my personal information including my IP address everything to do with my phone settings Etc was not able to resolve the problem and supposedly there's no managers there to assist I'll be cashing out what I have left of my Petro points I never going there again.
Desired outcome: All I wanted them to do was figure out why my card was not registered when I've been using it for years
Bad customer service
My little sisters friend called to ask if the slurpee machine was still broken, she was transferred to 2 different people before the 3rd person answered. He thought it was a prank call and said that "he was tired of this and told her to f*** off" he then hung up. He called back ten minutes later and threatened to call the police if she didn't come to the...

The Vancouver location of Broadway and Clark. Went in to buy a couple things and use the bathroom. The hallway to the bathroom was filled with garbage and cardboard from them restocking. Had to shuffle carefully and tripped over everything. Said something to the guy working and he shrugged it off. Did not have any care for the safety of customers. A person in a wheelchair never would have made it to the bathroom. Attached photo shows the hallway after someone has already gone through and had to move stuff. Totally unacceptable. And a very unprofessional reaction from the guy (who was also sleeping when we walked in)
Customer Service
We attended the Innisfree PetroCanada station on Monday if the May 2022 long weekend. As I was filling gas my partner got out for a walk and picked up a few discarded cans and bottles. The attendant strode across the parking lot and chewed out my partner. It's private property and the cans are for other people. I do approximately 700.00 fuel business a month. This will be the last time I stop at any Petro Canada in Canada. I wish to add that I stood with others for 3-4 minutes with No one at the till. Her time would be better spent serving customers than enforcing a bottle picking rule.
Desired outcome: You decide how to win back a customer.
Issues with gas station clerk
Hello there,
I would like to make a complaint about the situation I had faced in one of your gas stations in Mississauga, 3680 Hurontario Street; late afternoon at 17.50.
First off, I was told that I have to prepaid the pump before getting gasoline. I told the clerk that you guys use to do that at night time. When I was paying for gas, I forgot to use the fuel savings card. She told me that is too late because I already paid for it. She was very rude in dealing with me. Finally, I asked her to cancel the transaction and redone everything again using the saving card at this time.
When I was leaving the office, I told her that she shouldn’t be so rude to the customer. All a sudden she starts raising her voice at me and told me to shut up. I was so shucked hearing this. I’m retired fellow and I’m not used to being treated like this, especially by a young girl she is. Looks like her parents never teach her a good manner. I want to know what would happen if she raised her voice on her parents?
The customer is always right no matter what happen. Most of the business’s priorities are to reach 100% customer satisfaction. I was very calm and saying all this with very low voice, trying not to be a jerk.
She is very young Indian girl. I need some respect from the people I’m dealing with. Hopping that you guys will give her a reprimand and most of all you will teach her how to deal with the customer.
Hopping that will never happen again to another person because this cannot be accepted at any circumstances. Please find attached receipt in the attachments.
Let me know how you will handle this matter…
Regards,
Richard Stanowski
Vanilla Prepaid Mastercard and other merchandise.
On May 5th 2022 at 12:10 PM in the afternoon I made a purchase in the total amount of $329.09 at the Petro Canada Gas Station addressed to 3110-East 54th Avenue, Vancouver British Columbia, V5S1Z1
I pre-paid $90.00 for 91 Supreme Gasoline at pump #6 for 38.643 liters at the cost of $2.329 a liter + a 1 liter bottle of 5w20 Petro Canada Synthetic Oil + a 155ml bottle of STP Octane Boost/Fuel Injection Cleaner and a $200.00 Pre-paid Vanilla Master Card. I made the purchase using my Coast Capital Bank Card/Chequing Account. My account was debited for the amount of $329.09 and the funds were taken out of my account but then the cashier had told me that the Pre-paid Vanilla Master Card needed to be paid for separately so the transaction was void and the money would be deposited back into my account. I told her that it's fine and that mistakes happen but what she failed to tell me was that it would take up to 72 hours or 3 to 5 business days before I would get my money back! I told her that I was planning on going back home to Saskatchewan for Mother's Day to spend it with my mom who is 60 years old and that I was going to leave on Friday which was the next day and that's today! Now unfortunately do to her mistake of not making the Pre-paid Vanilla Master Card separately, I will not be able to make it home to Saskatchewan to spend Mother's Day with my 60 year old mom and I am forced to stay in Vancouver to wait for the funds to be deposited back into my account! Further more I am not being compensated for my unfortunate experience with The Petro Canada Gas Station that I went to! And the gas station refuses to help speed up the process of returning the funds back into my account and they refuse to compensate me for their mistake or even apologize to me for the inconvenience that they put me through!
Desired outcome: A refund of $329.09 that I'm still waiting for to be deposited back into my chequing account with some sort of compensation for the major inconvenience that I have been put through.
Petro Pass - Cookstown
I’m a truck driver that frequently comes to this location. I got here at 02:00 on April 27, 2021. I came in for a shower. Not only do they want us to show a receipt from fuelling, even though you need to be a petro pass customer anyways to even access the showers, but now they want you to purchase towels at $6.00 a towel. I had to get 3 because they are only small so I ended up paying 20 dollars for towels after taxes. Towels should be provided like they are at every other truck stop. If they want to lose business I guess that’s how to do it. This is just a money grab and it needs to stop
Desired outcome: Towels should be provided for the showers like they are at every other truck stop. Towels are not a big ask. This is just a money grab by a greedy owner
Employee.
Your employee at HWY 27/King road location that was working this evening April 12’th 2022 at 5:00PM was absolutely aggressive towards me and uttered racial slurs towards me right in front of other patrons to this location. Unacceptable behaviour and I’m appalled by this locations consistently negative experiences with the staff members and yet nothings gets done to remove them.

I paid for the 5 + 1 car wash card online. Saved the receipt. The card did not arrived. One + month later I had to call to the customer service, give the sleepy guy the receipt number... And in three weeks I received my card, which refused to work at the Petro Canada car wash. I had to back up from the station, pushing other, probably happy, customers. To make a call to the Petro Canada customer service has taken for more than one hour on waiting and 12 min to talk. Nothing was cleared. The girl spoke with nice asian accent, the rooster on the background was loud. I was polite. She just hang up. What I have to do next? Petro Canada is garbage. Do not buy any cards and other garbage there, if you do not want to be fooled.
D.N.
Desired outcome: Check the seller rating before any buying move. Especially online. In this case - Petro Canada sold the fooling stuff, failed to provide adequate customer service. Shame on Petro Canada
My wash card being paid for and my pass was not loaded.
I loaded my season pass card on Sunday Feb 13th.
Feb 14th contacted your 1 800 number and filed complainta s card did not load washes.
Got case number and told manager to return call 24 to 48 hrs. Never did.
Called again 3x on Feb 17th, disconnected, system down and then agent was like a repetitive robot. Be patient manager will call as your case is escalated. Told agent this is not satisfactory. I paid on my Mastercard and you have my money and I have no washes!
Demanded a manager and proper service. Told to wait again!
This is not acceptable and I feel like Petro Canada has stolen 236.00 from me.
Case number 2715167.
I would like my card filled with an extra week of wash for inconvenience or my money refunded immediately within out further delay!

Desired outcome: Immediate attention with my card loaded and 7 days of EXTRA washes plus the promo of one extra wash for buying season. Total of * EXTRA plus 90 days.
cashier attendant rude behaviour
my friend was recent immigrant and went inside to check the lotto ticket . the attendant was impatiently yelling at her as she doesnt know how to check. i came in and showed her how . she won free ticket and the attendant was rushing her when she took the ticket, yelling 'next' when was not done yet with her ticket. i told the attendant hes rude but he just kept ignoring. he is same descent like my friend. I was expecting better customer service from Petro Canada attendent, after all, he is in customer service. im very disatisfied. happened at 8760 Bayview Ave, Richmond hill on feb 10, 2022 at 21:18 .
Desired outcome: please provide us a better trained gas attendant
Poor customer service
Today went to the petro located at Kennedy and Finch to wash my car. But the machine there took $3 but it didn’t give me the full 3 minutes wash, and I went to the employee at the gas station for help but the employee has kept me waiting for 30 minutes. She doesn’t know how to do her job, she kept telling me to waiting when I was in a rush, and I have told her that I came first and I was in a rush. But she still perfunctory me. The excuse she gave me was that other customers are more important so she can’t help me.
Points card points stolen
Hi, I live in the Yukon. A year ago in Nov., one of the two outlets for Petro Canada fuel stole 800, 000 points from my card. I've tried repeatedly to get action from Petro Canada, to no avail. This is a gross criminal act. And for Petro Canada to ignore my complaint is the utmost helping hand in this debacle. Asking for help, and being ignored is a great injustice.
Asking for help to correct a unanswered quest to regain my Petro Points!
Seasonal Car wash
I bought a seasonal car wash card for 90 days and lost it 7-10 days after. I called customer service and explained the situation, it took them 1.5 hours to resolve the issue and finally they agreed to send me a new card with 90 days on it. I finally received my card 2-3 months later and now it says 0 days remaining. Even thought I didn't activate my card and haven't used a single wash. I called a customer service again today and lady told me there is nothing she can do about it. I said that there is definitely something you can offer because otherwise I just lost my money even thought Petro-Canada company agreed to help. She said sorry sir but you just lost your money and there is nothing I can do. The worst customer service that I dealt with. Moreover, I just lost my money...
Desired outcome: Would like money back or a seasonal card wash that I bought for 90 days
Violation of provincial health order (mask mandate)
On Dec. 29, 2021 @ 6:45am I was at the cashier behind a customer that was not wearing a mask, even though it is mandated by the provincial health officer and the Omicron virus is spreading like wildfire. I asked the cashier why they are not enforcing the mask requirement (sign of front door), he stated that he didn't want to enforce it. When I tried to...
Read full review of Petro CanadaBullying senior customers
On December 26, 2021 I had a most unpleasant experience at one of your Franchise outlets at Tanner and Hwy 7 Acton Ontario.
I pumped $57.00 worth of gas into my SUV and proceeded to a separate building where you pay, I offered the young woman at the cash a $100.00 Bill as payment which would mean I would get $43.00 in change. The young woman told me she won't accept my bill as payment (legal tender cdn) as it would take a larger portion of her float. So she had the money to give me change but refused. She suggested I go to other retailers in town to get my bill changed. I went next door to a pizza place where they refused to change my bill. Therefore I refused to go to any other retail outlets in an attempt to change the bill. Nor should I have had too seeing as how that outlet had the change that was due. They threatened to call the police and complain that I was about to leave without payment, and that there was some sort of sign on the door, I assume it was they will not take 100 dollar bills as the bills take most of their change away, there was no such sign at the gas pumps. At no time did these employee's claim that they do not accept 100 dollar bills because or for robbery prevention OR that there was many counterfeit bills.
As a senior I usually pay cash for ALL my purchases I have credit and debit cards but only carry those if I need to make an emergency purchase, all other purchases I always pay cash. I feel these employee's were just trying to be rude and trying to take advantage for some odd type of humor. Fortunately my wife had her debit card with her and I ended up paying with that. This was my first ever visit to that outlet and it will be the last, I will certainly discourage members of the Seniors Centre of Halton to avoid that outlet. Luckily in Acton there are other gas stations whom I know will treat seniors better.
Desired outcome: Applogy and those employee's dealt with
Disgusting service.
Customer service
Your employee "Rianne" at your simcoe/hwy7 location was completely disrespectful and ignorant to your customer.
Your location was out of regular gas, and because I selected the incorrect option it was taking extensively long to fill my gas
I went inside to address this and was met with a rude disrespectful employee.
I have worked in customer service for over 20yrs. I would have fired her on the spot.
I have already shared with a few people, and will ensure to post to my so social medial and share with all my network how terrible this location is and to avoid it.
Absolutely disgusted, this person should not work in any sort of customer situation.
Has no skills to deal with issues.
Argumentative and blames/threatens customers.
I'd like the owner of the location to contact me at their earliest convenience.
[protected]@gmail.com
Desired outcome: Terminate employee - should not work in customer service

Petro Canada has become a joke. They send out promotions for Petro points when you fuel up. In 3 different places in the promotion it clearly states you will get your points 2 within 2 weeks of the promotion ending. I have been waiting over 3 weeks and nothing and when I called customer service, they stated you have to wait 60 days. Nice for a company to outright lie. It is fraud and I am going to show my lawyer the promotion emails and maybe get a class action lawsuit filed. Maybe these dam gas companies need to know that the customer is right and not them
