car wash and manager of the station
On Thursday June 27th, 2019, I went to the ptero-canada station on 2444 Princess ST. in Kingston, Ontario for have my 2018 Rio Kia washed. Apparently, their old carwash machine does not function with light and modern small size car. At first attempt, while my car was on rail to move on inside the carwash room, the machine stopped working. My car and I stocked inside the carwash. I called for help. The worker of station reset the system to let doors open and I had to slowly and carefully drove back to get out the carwash. The attendant of the station assured me the carwash machine is working well and asked me for the second attempt. In the second try, horrible things occurred. Exactly, in the same step of washing, the vertical buffer took off the driver side mirror and then damaged other part of car's body. I reported the incident using a given form by the attendant and have my phone number. He said that the manager appeared on Friday, June 28th at 7:00 P.M and he will contact me. Sadly the manager did not contact me to accommodate the damages of the car done by his carwash machine in his property.
Please help me know what I need to do.
extremely rude and horrible attendant
I have been a customer of petro Canada for over 25 years until last week. My station of choice was dalton and division streets in Kingston Ontario. After approximately four previous visits of being helped by a rude employee who simply looks at you without so much as saying a word, or by simply returning a thank you or anything else following a customers courteous thank you, I traveled around and found a different place to spend the three hundred dollars a week of my gas allowance.
This is the first time in my 53 years I have complained. I still feel upset about the service and attitude of the employee who is, to describe her, very overweight, black hair female, the only person to fit that description at said location. I would like the franchise owner to be made aware of the financial costs of one person who refused to be belittled, intimidated or accept the rude and unprofessional demeanour of their employee. I'm not expecting anything from you, not even an email of acknowledgement, but hope you pass this along.
Sincerely, David van Dyk
obscene overcharging for gas.
We have a visitor from the Czech Republic. She went two times to a Winnipeg petro-canada station on St. Marys Road in Winnipeg. Each time the bill was less than 50 dollars. She paid with Czech sourced Visa. When she checked back on her bank account, she found that in both cases she was charged the Czech crown equivalent of 200 dollars. Nice welcome to Canada or more particularly Petro-Canada.
cold starbucks caramel
I went to Petro Canada gas station in this location 2500 Sheppard ave east (Sheppard and Victoria park ave.) Sunday 12th may at 5:15 PM and bought a Starbucks cold caramel and I found it expired. I told the cashier called Waleed and he asked me to change it but I found all of them in the fridge were expired too... He told me to make a complain and gave me the ranger's name... the manger called Bassem Ibrahim.
Please take an action because I forwarded another complain to ministry of health

store at 5590 200 st, langley bc v3a1m5
Dear Sir/madam,
A few years ago I submitted a complaint regarding your station located on 5590 200 Street Langley and nothing has improved.
The landscaping at this business is in great need of professional help. As you can see by the attached pictures there are several dead bushes that have been there for years, the lawn is done with a weed eater (and only in parts), trees and bushes are never watered in summer so are dying one by one.
The shrubs are not trimmed and the signs need painting.
This is a very visible and busy location and it is my neighbourhood. I would hope your company cares what image is being given to the public. This image says no one cares.
Please improve the landscaping and irrigation maintenance of this location. Or at least pull out the dead bushes!
I look forward to hearing from you,
Kelly Brown
employee
Anay Kumar Biswas, NRI fraud criminal, who is working in your organization as an employee, who has criminal charges in India. I am a victim of his crime, requesting you to take action against him. Lookout Circular is issued against him but he is hiding himself in Canada avoiding court and police of India. His passport no. P2941605. He works in your gas station, Danforth as a store manager.
printers never works to get a receipt at this petro canada
We have been customer over the last 10 years at this petro-canada . It's been now 2 years that each time we go we pay with our credit card petrol canada. We never go inside we always wait that we get a receipt from the machine outside. Over the last two years its seems there are never paper in the machine at this location and we cannot get a receipt. Now we need to go each time inside ? if this is any kind of strategy to get customer inside to buy other stuffs...or its simply that the staff is not doing there job. Anyways if you can pass this to the owners if so our company is asking us to go somewhere else because we don't bring receipt . The store is located in Longueuil, Quebec. We've send you a picture so you can locate the store. This is not a complaint but only to insure that the staff are doing there job. ( it happens to often to be only a coincidence .
Best Regards
waste management
Waste managment. Disposing of garbage. I am the neighbouring land owner who has to spend one month outta the year picking up litter that is all blown directly onto my land from the adjascent petro canada.
There are mabey 2 garbage dispensaries for public use, and they are open. With no swing lid. This is the windiest location in rockyview county. The wind carries out more llitter than gets put in.
The back dumpsters for staff to throw out waste have no lids no locks. I often find stock cardboard in my feild as well.
This is an extremely busy petro truck pass and there is not enough maintence on garbage collection. Its my land that looks like the ghetto littered with trash and debris.
Please help me resolve this ongoing issue. Please!
car wash
I had just filled my vehicle up with $100 worth of gas, I asked the attendant for a basic car wash with my purchase, he absolutely refused to sell me a basic wash and tried to force me to purchase a 5 super wash, several times he tried to force this on me, I finally told him to just charge me for the gas so I could leave and he still hounded me to purchase...
Read full review of Petro Canadacarwash damaged my car
We are having an absolutely horrible time with one of your franchises and your customer service. My 81 year old mother was in town visiting, needed a car wash and asked my husband to bring her car to Petrocan to get it washed (my dad recently passed and she had never done car wash on her own). He went in with a perfect car and came out with a side mirror...

The condition of the the cardlock at the Crossfield Alberta location is to say the least"DISGUSTING"!
I fueled there three times this week, only because it was convenient and I have to say, I have never seen a cardlock that filthy! It's not bad enough to be walking on ice on the fuel island but add to that the fuel that has been spilled it is rediculous! Even the bare concrete is slippery because of the fuel on it. After fueling you pretty much have to take your shoes off and leave them on the back of the truck because the smell of diesel will give you a migraine! Even the pumps are a mess. It doesn't look like anything has been maintained there since it opened! Pumps are covered in fuel and the filters are leaking! I think from now on I will go out of my way to avoid this cardlock. If the agent doesn't have it cleaned up someone is going to slip and fall. Then there may be a lawsuit!

customer service
I have complained about customer service in petro canada's locations in oakville to petro canada's headquarter many times. Everytime they sent an email that they will take care of that and they never did and I believe they never will. I told them if you do not fix this terrible customer services I will go to social media.in oakville petro canada has one of the worst customer services. When you go inside the store to pay or buy something they never treat you as the customer even they do not bother themselves to ask you what do you need or anything else, like lottery, special things for the store if they have. You might not believe me. Yesterday, march 1, 2019, I put a gas in speers rd and third line location petro canada, I went inside a store I said "hi", he even did not answer me, but just gestured with his head, worse than was drinking something and through physical signals he talked to me. I always asked them why you do not ask me what else do I need. Some of them sarcastically or even angry answering oaky what do you need. I hope petro canada considers my complain which is legitimate and it's part of canada's business culture!
car wash
I buy a seasons pass car wash every year and never had too many disappointing washes but this time everyone of my visits to this location has been bad ones.
The brushes don't always work leaving half of the car unclean. The rinse cycle does not get all the soap washed off before the dryer leaving spots on the cat which is suppose to be a spot free rinse.
When leaving the car was building the build up of ice is so large that i have scraped the bottom of my car.
I have visited the two other car wash locations in the city and never have had these problems.
customer service
Monday Jan 28th 2019- my car broke down at this gas station at approximately 7:30am. I could not start it or do anything with it. Out of courtesy I told the lady in the kiosk that my car had broken down and that it is parked just at the side of the kiosk not at a pump. She proceeded to act like It was a huge inconvenience to her and told me I had to move it because it would be in the way of the delivery trucks. I attempted to push my car into a parking spot but couldn't as it was on an incline. I attempted to push my car back instead and got it out of the way. The lady then told me I couldn't leave it there because it was in the way of the car wash. The parking lot is HUGE and I was far enough away from the car wash. The lady told me I have to move it to a parking spot which was to my right and would be very difficult to push my car that way. All I could do was push my car off to the side so that the front of the car was not sticking out. I advised her that I would be calling a tow truck to have it towed within the next hour. She was very difficult saying that she would be in trouble. I offered to leave my number just in case. She was very rude, not helpful nor understanding at all. This lady needs to be spoken to, trained on customer service skills and have empathy for people who are in a difficult situation. What happened to the days when the gas station was the ideal place to have your car break down because the gas station attendants were helpful and understanding especially in the middle of a winter frreze?! Absolutely disgusting behaviour!

lotto tickets
Recently I bout a scratch ticket at the petro store at adialade and Fanshawe rd in London ont.i was lucky enough to win $100.00 .i ask them to cash my ticket and they refused to cash it, saying they did not have enough money.this was at 1 o'clock in the afternoon.they would not cash it.now you cannot tell me they did not have that kind of cash on hand.these tickets say you can cash them in anywhere and any time.this is the second time I have had trouble with this store, if they do not want to pay out money for tickets purchased there, then they should not be selling them.very dissatisfied with petro Canada, they say live by the leaf ! .these people that run this place just seem ignorant to everyone that does not spend money at there store, I will never go to this place again .i am sure that the OLG would not approve of this sense they say you can cash your ticket anywhere.very disappointed with Petro Canada
gas station services
Extremely Bad U-Haul Service at Tillsonburg Broadway St. location, November 17, 2018 pm. The proprietor demanded that a customer, a 65 year old senior citizen, lift and push the rented trailer, on its return, to his specific location putting the old man at risk and liability. This angered me but I was in control of my emotions. He called on his dog a 3' - 50 lb pitbull and I sincerely believe the proprietor would have used the animal had I not taken control of the situation by apologizing. I have a very difficult time understanding the proprietors attitude in demanding a senior do his will. It is completely out of place and he should be removed from his job. Sincerely Herschel de Jong
gas station turned of pump early
The petro gas station in Milton (Main and Bronte) locked the pumps at 10:40pm. The hours posted are 11PM. This is very disappointing because I really needed fuel tonight.
The pump said this pump is not available and the attendant wouldn't look up to turn the pump on.
The website and door sign said 6am-11pm. I would like some sort of explanation on this.
contaminated fuel
Filled up at a Petro Canada station in Ottawa and shortly thereafter my car started running rough. I suspected water contamination but naively thought that the problem would resolve itself as the fuel was used up and replaced. Unfortunately it is not that easy. My Subaru dealer confirmed water contamination which required costly repairs. I contacted Petro Canada to complain. Their investigation, which relied exclusively on the owner or lessee's word, claimed that there was no contamination recorded from the date of my fill to the present. Interestingly, the same day that Petro Canada sent the results of their "investigation" the storage tanks at the Petro Canada location in question were being excavated.
If you suspect contaminated gasoline, don't wait to report it to your government weights and measures authority, have it diagnosed immediately and don't expect an honest answer from Petro Canada.
theft
On and around 19:20 October 17, 2018 at the Clark Drive and Broadway location in Vancouver, BC, I was ripped off. I walked inside, spread $28 on the counter, requested a pack of John Player Special Blue and the remainder gas on pump two. I spoke deliberately, loudly, and clearly while attempting to make eye contact. The clerk seemed to understand, but did have to ask me to repeat which pump. He handed me my cigarettes, at which point I felt satisfied. I exited the store and proceeded to fuel my vehicle. The pump stopped at $5.95. Obviously this was wrong. I re entered the store, waiting for the clerk to finish with the current customer. At which point I spoke at the same clerk, simply notifying I only received $5 gas. He replied "Umm". I reminded him I gave him $28. He replied "Yea".
I said, "I gave you $28, how much can this pack of cigarettes possibly be?"
He mumbled, " umm." And then fumbled with the register. Printed a receipt and said, " $18."
I asked, " the cigarettes cost $18?"
He said, " you gave me $18 "
Knowing cigarettes are more than $12.05 I don't even bother arguing, I simply ask, " pull the tapes."
He then fumbles with the cash register again and says, "$18". I repeat " pull the tapes, I spread the money out, it's gonna be obvious "
He tells me "I'm not gonna do that"
I ask to speak to the owner or a manager.
His coworker says I can't. If I want to speak to a manager I have to call in the morning. I wasn't given contact information and the clerk who stole from me walked away. I don't think he intentionally ripped me off, but I do think he's so incompetent and oblivious he should not be handling money. I originally did not take a receipt, assuming the transaction was so simple and so transparent it wouldn't merit one. And when I went back in, the receipt offered was wrong, and therefore worthless to me. I do have a time stamped photo of the clerk, and I'm sure the cash registers balance will be off when checked. If I reported this to the VPD and pursued criminal charges it would most likely ruin his future. I'd rather not see that. And I'm not driving back for a refund. All I'm asking for is an apology and some sort of assurance something will be done to prevent this from happening to others. I think it's ridiculous they were unwilling to review the video tapes considering the clerk couldn't even remember what and how much he was just handed.
I gave him a $20, a $5, a $2 coin, and 4 quarters. And spread them separately on the counter to dispel any confusion. Because I can see clearly by body language and eye contact that his attention is not all on me. Pump 2 at 19:20, a black grand caravan with Alberta rental plates. Because I'm really gonna buy cigarettes and only put $5 into a grand caravan ...
Further, I pulled $60 from an atm downtown. I spent $32 on vendor hotdogs. Leaving me the exact change I gave to the clerk. My pockets are empty and the atm didn't give me a $10 bill. I don't care if he stole $0.25 or $1000. It's wrong. And not willing to take five minutes and review the tape is ridiculous. I guarantee, if I called the police, they'd run the tapes, but why should the citizens of Vancouver have to pay police wages to prove something so ridiculously simple?
Sincerely,
Mr. McCarthy

P.S. I attached a photo. The clerk in question is the one in focus, walking away from me, offering no avenue of complaint resolution. The clerk out of focus is the one who told me if I wanted to complain or talk to a manager I'd have to call in the morning. Offering no telephone number or contact name. I asked him for the managers name and he softly said something along the lines of "Manjeet"
A photo time stamp app will reveal the time of the photo was 7:24pm 10/17/18.
Awesome. I understand there may very well be a language barrier, inexperience and distrust with a new hire but...If I were to arrive in India, get a job without being able to speak Urdu or whatever natural language I would not expect to receive any help from the 1.32 billion inhabitants, nor would receive any. I purchase $ 1500- $ 2000 a month of product from Petro Canada ( 25 year customer) and have learned to give very clear instructions when purchasing in store. I have grown to detest the attitude of not listening, staring at the customer as if they are mentally deficient and the serious lack of accountability in these stores. Thank you for posting, this is widespread and entrenched in the culture at Petro Canada. I was stared at, dismissed and accused of being a thief this morning, Nov. 10 2018 at a Petro Canada when trying to purchase of lottery tickets and fuel. The young woman was completely taken by surprised when I lost my temper and started yelling( I mean really Yelling). I instructed her to call a manager that knew what they were doing and 2 hours later it was resolved. I'll be invoicing Petro Canada directly for my time.
