Very rude customer service employee
A customer service worker name Lyn on this location was very rude and brought me an embarrasment. I understand that their baskets can't get outside. But the way she approach me with a very loud tone and a rude attitude is kinda concern to me. I told her If i can use the basket till I get to my car and bring it back, instead of explaining me a better idea...

I shop at your stores frequently, and all this time I was not aware that your bread and buns that you sell including the ones that are baked in store, all have Canola oil, as I once got really sick by digesting Canola oil, and seeing that your ads promote healthy products, I assumed that your breads and buns would also have healthy ingredients. I would like to know why is it that can’t use something like olive oil, grape seed oil, avocado or even vegetable oil for those of us that can’t digest or use Canola oil. I would appreciate a response to this matter.

sour chicken breasts and poor customer service
hello, I bought chicken breast and chicken thighs yesterday, April 29, 2022.
After transfer of chicken thighs to the freezer, I opened the chicken breast package and it smelled sour. I took it back to the store where purchased with the receipt. The best before date on the package was 2022/MA/04. The name on the package sticker was sausage breakfast pork beef cp. I warned a worker in the meat department that a package of chicken wings was really sour and he didn't believe me at first.. I showed him where the package was and he could smell it when he set his face down to it. I did receive a refund of purchase.
The sort of manager of the meat department came to get the package and checked it over well, and decided it was sour, made faces at the name on the package as well. He then said sorry and walked away.
Both he and the agent who gave the refund didn't act surprised that the soured chicken was returned.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $20 or PC points equal to $20, for my fuel charge for having to drive 35 minutes to return the chicken
price changes
I have been shopping at Superstore for about 20 years. The recent price hikes are unacceptable. The bakery dept used to sell 24 packs of buns for $5. It is still $5 but you only get 18? That is a 25% price hike. This is just one of many items. The price of meat is outrageous. Very unhappy customer!

They close at 11 and this lady rudely fought with me when I came in to buy one item with complete disrespect at 10:55 keep in mind. And instead of me looking for it I directly went in front of her and asked her where the item was so I would be able to get out in a minute.
Now I don’t get the product I want and I’m instead going to another store
Desired outcome: It’s supper unacceptable that customers are treated that way
fresh produce bagged oranges
visiting your store on country hill Blvd. Calgary has turned into a disappointment after shopping there for many years the so-called fresh produce is a joke and the case in point is the bagged oranges I purchased a 5 lb. bag on Friday, April 8th and when opened Sunday morning they were rotten ranges and the others were close to being uneatable. I...

Good Afternoon,
We recently visited the Real Canadian Superstore in Leamington, and went to cash out the following item for my daughter (See attached picture) - a batman toy figurine.
When we went to the checkout, the pricing was scanned through as $8.94 + tax. We told the cashier that the sign clearly showed on sale $7.54. I pointed out that the barcode was different, but it was the only sign in the section to correspond with the product with an accurate description.
I understand the pricing codes were different and in some cases the cashier might be unable to accommodate, but in this particular case, I was told the $8.94 was the price and they would not give the sale price even with the sign there.
My daughter was very upset and we did not pickup the product because of how the situation was handled. We don't live particularly close, so we are only able to come to the store once as week and sales maybe gone by then.
Thank you for taking the time to read this,
April Adan
Desired outcome: April Adan PO Box. 351Lakeshore, ON N0R [protected]@live.com
Lack of product on store shelves and filthy entry.
I used to use PC Grocery Pickup service at the Heritage Valley Superstore. 80 -90 % of my groceries ordered in the last 4 orders has been substitutes or not available at all. This is unacceptable! Just an example, if you walked into this store right now and for the past month, you will NOT find a single Lay's Potatoe Chip product in the store. They rarely have staples like Becel Margerin and Milk and Cream that is not already bad even though the best before date hasn't yet passed. The front entry is disgusting. Filthy and often a disaster. I'm done shopping at this particular Superstore. It is terribly managed.
Desired outcome: Don't bother, it's only getting worse and likely won't improve.
Contacting superstore main office
I have tried twice to contact superstore. After pressing at least 15 numbers to try and get to talk to some one. I get cut off. How can I talk to someone about my account. I can use my phone to get points but I can see how many I have. Both of our phones are stuck on our local drug store. How can we reset our phones to see the PC Card?
Not sure what else you need. Call me at [protected]
Roy
Desired outcome: Fix stuck card on our phones displaying our local drug store. I have reloaded the PC Card and same thing occurs.
Nestles
Nestles continues to operate in Russia claiming it is providing essential foodstuffs. What? Chocolate bars? Sugar packed cereal?
A boycott of Nestles products has begun worldwide.
Desired outcome: Remove Nestles products from your shelves. Stop ordering.
Ground beef
Purchased a tube of ground beef and it was full of shards of bones and nasty sinew or fat. Not sure. Some of the bones are quite large. This could kill.
If I am not retributed in a respectful manner I will go to the next step.
Desired outcome: Monetary
Sail Classic Cigars
My husband unfortunately smokes these cigars and made a purchase at the Super Store Gas Bar in Coquitlam. This is his usual purchase place. I have pictures of 2 out of the 8 cigars in the package that look like they have been possibly bitten into. This is the first time we encoutered this. They are not smokeable. The package notes the manufacturer as Fabrique sous licence et importe par: RBH, Toronto M#8 3L1 . Code on package WQX413212.
Desired outcome: Replacement of defective product.
Scanning Code of Practice
Real Canadian Superstore-Harvest Hills, Ellerslie 615 54 St SW Edmonton AB
This store is a joke. They have incorrect tags all over the place so make sure you check your receipt and compare to the tags on the shelves. They participate in the Scanning Code of Practice but they actually don't follow what the policy states. I've complained about some items in my cart that scanned higher that the shelf price but the store manager made an excuse that they are not able to honour SCOP because it wasn't their fault that the price tags were wrong. If the tag is lower that the price on the receipt, customers are supposed to get a $10 discount. Just imagine how many people were tricked from their false advertisement. It's stupid that the store manager "does not know" what SCOP states. Please educate your managers/supervisors. Instead of spitting lies and excuses to your customers, how about making sure your staff do a proper job of putting up correct prices on the shelves?
Desired outcome: Honour SCOP, give me a refund, and do a proper job of ensuring all tags are correct.
Mastercard
Applied to Pc financial for Mastercard which I was approved. Told me I was getting 20000 points but when I applied it was 100000.
Outrageous use of plastic bags click and collect.
I placed my first order with click and collect today. Upon pick up I noticed for a small order of 22 items, many many many plastic bags being used. In total my order was 22 items and 18 plastic bags were used.
This is a disgusting misuse of plastics and I feel that this is a slap in the face by superstore to our conscious effort to better the environment for our children.
I will have a very hard time shopping at superstore again. I’m truly nauseated and disgusted.
Desired outcome: I need a response from Superstore head office about this truly outrageous and unnecessary waste.
Self checkout
I went to Superstore (Moosejaw) yesterday to pick up groceries for Instacart. When I arrived at the self-service checkout, the employee rudely informed me that Instacart customers are not permitted to use it. So, I'm curious as to why Instacart users are not permitted to use self-service checkout. Is there a good reason for this? They didn't give me any...

You’re stealing from us, AGAIN, and it needs to stop. Spare me the “please read Instacart terms and conditions” speech. I started using Instacart at the beginning of the pandemic, partly because I was in fear of going outside and partly because I wanted to help fight the spread. My orders always seemed a bit on the high priced side, but I just chalked it up to supply chain issues or the cost of doing business in a locked down world. Lately, however, it’s gotten to the point of ridiculousness. What I thought was a few cents difference here and there, turns out to be as much as 2 or 3 dollars increase per item in some cases. If you MUST raise prices to compensate for having Instacart on your payroll, raise prices storewide, don’t penalize people who need the service. I’ve shopped at the West Edmonton Superstore for 30 years now, but I’m done. I’ll go Wal Mart for my deliveries from now on. Yes, they’re a grocery megalith, just like Superstore is, but they haven’t raised their Instacart prices and still give us in store specials. You don’t even give us the points that we earned on Instacart. Once a thief, always a thief, huh Galen? Shame on you
Desired outcome: Get it together. Put prices back to where they belong. I’m sure wasted hundreds of dollars in the last 2 years, I don’t want it to happen to anyone else
For people to wear masks or for you to get new management that will do their job
So still on the 12th of febuary the management still refuses to enforce mask mandates in the Camrose store, and [censored] off with that [censored] that some people can't WHEN HALF THE CUSTOMERS IN THERE AREN'T WEARING ONE.
So this is whats going to happen, you're going to get your manager to stop [censored]ing her staff and get her [censored] on the floor where she can actually enforce this LAW.
SO WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON'T
Well next time I go shopping I'm going to film the state of the store, and not only upload it to online but also send it to AHS and Canadians Health Services and you [censored] can pay for the 35 people still dying every god damn day in our [censored]ing hospital systems.
To further add, I also will be writing this as an article if I have to film at location next time called. "Superstore the SuperCovid Spreader", showcasing how Loblaws practices have made the pandemic worse unlike stores like Wal-Mart which have really stepped up on cleaning Carts, making sure Customers and staff are properly masked, along with putting at risk employees on leave so they can collect disability since they are unsafe at the front lines.
Pharmacy
My doctor dropped off a prescription for me with them on February 7-2022 at ten am. When I arrived to pick it up five hours later they had not even looked at it. When I asked why it was not ready after five hours the pharmacist came over to me and started to shout at me that she did not know when I would arrive. Strange that everyone else's prescription...
