Hi, we have purchased cream two times recently. Both times the expiry date was in the future and both times we opened them, they had gone bad. Like chunky bad. I love my shoppers and the points and the convenience. But this is disappointing. I didn't bother the return of either item because it's a hassle and embarrassing to do so.
If it's for sale, it should be still good right?
Thank you for your time.
I just wanted to let you know. I am adding my card so you can verify that I purchase cream yesterday and in the past.
life brand gold tightening face mask
I bought this face mask in shoppers at 3 for $5. The minute I put it on my face, I had a burning sensation. It stung especially in my lip and nose are. I had to discontinue and remove the product immediately. I don't have sensitive skin and I believe skin care such as over the counter face masks should not burn or sting. I hope you can improve on this product and give a refund for this poor face mask. I was also horrified to learn that the same reaction happened to other people when I googled the product.
pharmacist/owner - maged saad
I asked the pharmacist/owner - Maged Saad - what is "Sensoril" ( an ingredient in a Life Brand Vitamin B-Calming Formula B50 Complex with Sensoril )? He took a good minute to answer, looking puzzled, and then said "it helps the vitamin B's absorb better".
When I got home, I googled it. It's a natural medicinal herb that helps: improve blood sugar, inflammation, mood, memory, stress + anxiety, boost muscle strength, and fertility. No where did I find it helps with absorption.
The subject of this complaint might seem minor, but it's the fact that obviously he didn't know the answer, and just guessed. What if I was asking something serious about a prescription! His behaviour bothers me. I wouldn't trust him as my pharmacist.
Thanks,
Linda Melanson

waiting time / unavailability of medication
I would like to complain about the service that I received today at a Pharmaprix in Montreal. I was told the time to fill up my prescription would be 20-25 minutes and I decided to wait since I was in a break from work and I could stay for this period.
After 40 minutes (during which several prescriptions became ready for people that were called and were not there) I complained of the delay and they informed me that my prescription would be next. Just noting that, when I got there, there was only one other customer waiting and she had left after a few minutes of my arrival.
After 5 more minutes I was called and informed that one of my medications wasn't available. It's unacceptable to call a customer after 45 minutes to let them know something that should have been told them at the beginning. If my medication wasn't available the pharmacy's system should flag that right away. This is really unacceptable as a service. Now I have to go back later and hope that I won't have to expend another 45 minutes to be able to pick-up my prescriptions.
la roche posay
I got this product last week and once I bought it there was no tape on it and I didn't notice that it was medium shade instead of light so I went to the same store to exchange it with a light one but the lady who was on the cash register didn't wanna exchange it for me and her excuse was that it looks opened and she can't return it but I explained to her and I was insisted and at the end she gave me a gist card with the same amount of money so I can get the one that I wanted.
That wasn't my problem if there was no tape on it and actually they cheated me.
$10 coupon issued by shoppers drug in gananoque was not honored
I went into Shoppers Drug Mart while touring Thousand Island on July 25.
I took advantage of the senior discount, spent >$50 and received a paper copy of $10 coupon.
$10 coupon issued by Shoppers which I received before were like a gift card, I did double check with the cashier if I could use it when I return home and he said yes.
I went to Shoppers again today but was told they cannot honor the paper coupon.
I'm very disappointed with the current situation and hope this matter will be investigated and rectified.

I called shoppers drug mart to ask about the clinic that's in the same building as them but different entrances. I tried my best to look for it online but I couldn't so I figured my best bet Would be to call shoppers drug mart. The reason why I was confident that they'd help me was because they have helped me regarding the clinic many many times before with...
Read full review of Shoppers Drug Martpromotion points not accurate
Hi,
Please see your promotion attached.
I had purchased $40 worth of items and should get 3000 points for every $10 spent as stated but i only received 3000. The cashier even agreed that based on the promotion i should get 3000 points for every $10 i spent but she could not confirm until the transaction was done. I should have received 12000 points. Your promotion does not say per transaction or receive 3000 points with any purchase over $10. I purposely went to Shoppers because of this promotion but could have saved half the money elsewhere.
Please let me know if you will honor your promotion and give me 3000 points for every $10 i spent. My receipt is attached.
eye cream and the assistant manager jeffrey
Hello! I purchased an eye serum on July 29th from the Warden and Huntingwood location, store# 875. The sales associate recommended this eye serum as it was Canadian made and a great product so I purchased it. Not even a week later it fell from my medicine cabinet onto my sink counter and shattered. I brought it back into the store today to show them what was left of the bottle and how dangerous it was, with sharp pieces, my young child could have cut themselves with the sharp edges. I wanted to exchange it for a different eye cream since I only got to use it a couple of times. The assistant manager Jeffrey was very unprofessional and said it was my own responsibility and he couldn't do anything for me. I am very unsatisfied with the service I received from him and will not be shopping at Shopper's Drug Mart any longer. I have been in retail from many years and can say that the lack of service I received today is a disgrace. I don't know how he can be an assistant manager of a store. I am disgusted in the lack of service and respect I received from Jeffrey. You have lost a loyal customer.
pharmacy
As i dont have extrna Insurrance to pay my prescriptions i get them for 6 months to avoid extra cost of filling charges .. as i have been doing this last 4 years with pharmasave and london drugs . Today shoppers drug pharmacy on country club mall told me their owner Tim knstructed the employees jot to give more than 100!days of prescriptions.so they will over charge me 120 dollars a year Which i thknk should be told before i transfered my medication s to there by over charging me and not very customer friendly .. also they don't thake PC creit card or let you redeem any points you have on it.. though pharmacy is inside the shoppers drug market but it is total different entity making its iwn rules, and it is giving a bad name to shoppers drug market and super stores chains, as i owner of PC credit card I thought i would be able to use my card and its benefits in all its stores .. apperantlh not ..
If you ever read the optimum policy, you'd know that the government doesnt allow points to be earned on prescriptions (the govt ruled it as bribery many years ago), so the company also doesnt allow points to be used on prescriptions. Dumb child.
customer service
Was trying to purchase 8 Dairyland one litre chocolate milk, had 4 taken out of my bin and told there was a limit, nothing on signage about a limit. I was told the limit was due to retailers buying 12 of them. I was wearing my work shirt so thinking they were jumping to conclusions and it is really no ones business what I was doing with it. I find it odd a store wouldn't want to sell their product. I was also told they are a pharmacy not a food store, so they can set up limits all they want. Working at Superstore that is like saying it's a clothing store not a grocery because they sell clothes.

I'm upset with the customer service I received. When I went to purchase an item from the store, I informed the sales rep that I had Tax exempt. I placed the card on the counter and she acknowledged that I had. She scanned item and I reminded her again. She asked if I had a points card and took it.
When I went back to receipt I noticed that the item was $100.00 even, plus tax it came to $113.00. Tax came to $13.00. Correct me if I'm wrong but full tax is 13%. That made me look and see that the 8% tax wasn't taken off.
I'm not upset that $8.00 wasn't taken off my purchase. I'm more upset of the ignorance. When I mention I have a status card... twice, and its not applied that is Discrimination in the workplace as the employee is not trained nor is the employer ensuring that their employees are trained properly.

The Ontario Ministry of Finance has implemented a hotline service at 1-866-ONT-TAXS (1-866-668-8297) that will accept calls from citizens to report retailers that:
•refuse to provide the tax exemption for First Nation customers upon presentation of a valid status card;
•insist on the collection of unnecessary personal information (such as taking a photocopy of a status card, address, phone number, email, signature etc.) as a requirement before providing the exemption;
•raise the price on purchased items that qualify for exemption;
•insist that you pay the full tax at the time of purchase and submit your receipt to the Ministry of Finance for refund;
•are unsure about how to process tax exempt transactions; or
•are confused or are under the wrong understanding about the rules for First Nations tax exemption.

She literally picked up my card. She saw it twice and she was informed. The whole transaction was less then 2 minutes. She wouldn't/shouldn't have forgotten. That right there is plain ignorance and stupidity.
Unless she applied it and no tax came off. Something is wrong with the system.
gift card
I bought a gift card for Best Buy on Jun 13, 2019. Two days later, I went to Best Buy and tried to use it to purchase a tv. The gift card didn't work. The cashier told me he couldn't check the balance, and the system said only "Declined". I went back to Shoppers, and they gave me a number to call. I called the number, and opened a case. I sent the receipt...

This morning while shopping for various items I wanted to check the price of a cosmetic item at the Beauty counter. I wanted to continue shopping but the beauty advisor refused to give the product back to me. This was shocking. She told me she would hold the product behind the counter and I could only pay for it as her own sale. I wanted to buy all my Shoppers products at the same time with regular cashier when I was finished but she insisted on holding back the item. Her name is Jenny, at the Cochrane, Alberta store. I'm very unhappy and may stop using Shoppers.
management
I am a 47 year old man that has just gone on disability, for year I have gone to these shopper on a daily basis most days I go 2 times a day needless to say that I'm known on a first name basis with most of the staff. The problem I am writing today about is the manager on Tuesday July 30th she came up to me and told me that I'm being kick out because of my service dog the dog I have been bring in there 3 times a day for the past 3 and a half months the same dog that 90% of the staff pet and talk to and she said if I return to the store the police will be called for trust passing and on my way out she made a comment that if I get my prescription there I best take them somewhere else, my dog is known to all most every business downtown kitchener she has been either in or has stopped and meet there stuff, need less to say I'm not happen with the way I was treated and I think she discriminate I've seen other people go in with dog with no service coats on and she don't ask them to leave, I have gone in there and she well fallow me around like I'm a criminal and I'm far from being a criminal, I've seen her do this to others as well and soon as they say something to her she bars them from going there, so I asking for something to be done and if nothing gets done then I will take it to the news and I will see a lawyer about discrimination and I will also start a boycott page on Facebook but I really don't want to go that way I don't want to go against all shoppers over one bad person, I'm Mr savage @ [protected]@gmail.com thank you have a great day...
questionable recruitment practices.
Please treat my name as CONFIDENTIAL.
So, one of my Facebook contacts posted this on her site?
She is a cashier (and wannabe boss) at Shoppers Drug Mart and Kingston Road and McCowan Rd, in Scarborough, Ontario. I am shocked that she is recruiting for your store through her private Facebook account.
Since when can she recruit for staff when she isn't qualified to recruit?
How can she recruit for this location, when everyone must go through the on-line application process and be vetted by the SDM Talent Specialists?
Has Shoppers Drug Mart provided her with recruitment training? Has Shoppers endorsed this post?
How can you be a 'team player', but must 'understand hierarchy'?
How can she recruit, but eliminate 'spoiled millennials and egos'? And how can this be identified during a professional recruitment interview. She calls this an 'unorthodox job description', but this post is very unorthodox.
As a Human Resources specialist, I see a Human Rights case brewing with her post. This is just cause for dismissal.
Please see her post below:

Hi friends. I'm looking to hire a couple of people. This is unofficial but I really am looking. Part time, evenings and weekends. Must have a mature attitude, understand heirarchy, be a true team player. A good, steady job in a well run environment. Must get along well with others, enjoy working with the public and understand that standards and rules are in place for a reason. Sorry to be so blunt but spoiled millenials and egos need not apply. We are a team and we act like a team. If you or anyone you know fit this rather unorthodox job description, please PM me and I'll share how to get a resume to me. Cash and Merchandising experience an asset. Best asset? An open, friendly, co-operative attitude. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks you everyone.
wrong pricing at checkout
I live in Montreal and it is currently experiencing a heat wave. I have a 3 month old and had to make a trip to pharmaprix. I went in and bought 6 items, 3 of which I was charged incorrectly for. Because of the long wait in line and my agitated baby I did not check my receipt until I got home. There is no way in this heat I am taking my baby back there for such a trivial error. I am writing this complaint because this is NOT the first time this has happened-- every other time I shop there this happens. Sometimes I see it on my receipt on the way out and do not go back to fix the error because of the long waits for checkout. I am done with this store and will only use it for my medication needs and no longer for other items.
behavior of the cashier in yorklanes york university shoppers
I wanted to buy a presto card, I asked for just a card with 10$ in it. The shopkeeper mistakenly charged me for a monthly pass. I said I did not asked for that and asked for a refund. And then she started to say sentences like "I'm done with this place" and getting discomforting postures. The manager came and performed the refund however the behavior of the cashier was unacceptable.
canada post employee
I went in to return a package to H&M through canada post. It was a prepaid return from H&M. One of the post office workers (who wasn't even dealing with me) made a rude comment. She said "if I had a dollar for every time people return things through us!".."why do people do this?!" "why buy to return!?" I was shocked at her behaviour and said nothing ( which...

I am frequently missing points from the optimum promotions and am often submitting an enquiry from my app and always declined so I take a different approach and contact them via social media who "typically responds within a few hours" this last experience was terrible, the worse customer service ever! I feel myself a loyal customer to the Optimum Brands such as Esso, No Frills, Shoppers Drug Mart, Lawblaws on a more than weekly basis and when I addressed this I had not even gotten a response and with being head of Customer service I find this disrespectful. I was told I would receive my points with a few days and after a week had lapsed I still did not receive them so I reached out to enquire and initially the social media team had opened my message but did not even have the decency to respond until I mentioned that I saw that they opened my message then they responded and told me to be patient. I furthered to send another email with how I felt as a loyal customer and to this moment I still have not seen my points or received an email. Totally disgusted in this! You guys need to properly train your people and as I mentioned in my social media correspondence I work in the building that is attached to 243 Consumers where both buildings share the smoking area and I hear the stories from the Agents speaking about how irritating the customers are and they often go into detail and laugh amongst each other and say how they make these certain type of customers wait for their points or wait for a resolution.
