vaseline intensive care aloe vera
I purchased this product 3 days ago and after purchase I realized that I wanted an aftersun gel rather than the lotion. When I went to return the product with the receipt, I was declined because the product did not have a seal. As much as I understand this safety precaution, I was never notified at the point of purchase that it was final sale and therefore I feel as though I should have been granted the refund.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
insulin
Hello,
So tonight my husband needed his insulin prescription filled as soon as possible. We called our local pharmacy in East Gate Mall in Stoney Creek . They told us they were under staffed and to call back tomorrow. He told them he needed it tonight. He is a type 1 diabetic. They were quick to get off the phone and to disregard his need to have his life dependant prescription filled. This has not been the first time it has happened at this location. We are not impressed because we give this location a lot of business and my husband depends on insulin to live. We just wanted to make you guys aware of the situation and hope you rectify it quickly. Thank goodness we have other choices in the area where some may not in rural communities. The other company was kind, compassionate and understanding. They filled his insulin prescription as quickly as they could tonight.
price adjustment
I've shopping at Canyon Meadows shoppers drug mart April 12 at1:15.
I was planning to buy Vichy cream ($31) and when I tried to pay for my purchase the assistant said that the combo Vichy has the same price and is better to buy.. this day I spend $134, 35 and I was happy to safe money. When I come back home I checked a receipt and I find out that combo Vichy is $52, 00 so because I needed to go to work I came back to exchange the combo box for cream at the same day at 7:35 pm, I haven't seen the same assistant that helped me, but the other one said that cream I tried to exchange is $42, 00 now NOT $31, 00. She said that manager changed prices after 4pm. But when I came (DianeDoyle) Manager didn't work anymore. I'm really upset that I paid $10 more either wasn't my fault that assistant suggested to buy more expensive product.
pharmacy
I have type 2 diabetes and take insulin at night time. I called to refill my prescription and they said I don't have any refills. They said they would follow up with my doctor and get the refill. I called back a couple of days later and they said that they never heard back and would follow up again. I never heard back. I finally followed up with my doctor today and they said that the prescription was refilled April 5. Today is April 18. Nobody called me back. I just spoke to the location and they said that they received it April 5 and forgot to call me. This is medication for a serious illness I have and nobody called me. I then spoke to the Pharamacist in charge Andrew Wong and he said sorry. He also said that they could have extended my prescription and didn't. This is unacceptable. This is my health.
case #[protected]
I purchased false lashes and glue at the Shoppers Drug Mar at 660 Portland St. Dart NS Canada. I had an allergic reaction. After poor customer service, being told by cash manager to go to cosmetics counter for my refund. I was refused a refund for the lashes because they were used. I asked to speak to manager-wait over 10mins because the only other staff was outside smoking. Then the same manager comes over and tells me they will not refund my money for the lashes. I wrote the other manager [removed] because the service was terrible and I know very well that they could have returned my money and destroyed the lashes (see attached screenshot of email). I have worked retail, and am appalled that this company shows obvious lack of concern for happy customers who will return. Its been 10 days since I submitted a complaint to the head office, see attached screenshot and no reply. I want my money back for lashes that I can't use. I live 2 mins from the store, and I just started making this store my drug store of choice after years of avoiding for poor customer service and overall lack of concern for their customers, I will no longer buy from any shoppers. I will buy for myself, my husband and four children elsewhere now.
Please, is there any way you can get my $7.19 plus tax back. It would do well for community morale for this store to show they care.
Regards,
[removed]
technicolour tv
The TV was damaged when we took it out of the box. Shoppers will NOT deal with it and told us to deal with Curtis International for warranty. Curtis will not replace it nor even tell us where to return it. We are out $301.27 and our disabled son does not have his TV. Does your Complaints Board even respond to/acknowledge complaints? This is the second time I have complained about this situation. Please advise/respond to [protected].
unethical behaviour from management
Regarding: 18677 Fraser Hwy Surrey B.C
April 16 2018
I hope this email finds the companies customer service representative.
My daughter purchased a Safety First rain cover for a stroller today and noticed it was ripped minutes after putting it on. She tried to return it only a few hrs after later because of the rip in the seam ( in the original box with the receipt ) and was completely horrified of the experience she had. The sales associate and the manager completely ganged up on her and refused to let her return this damaged item. They were condescending when providing her many different reasons why they wouldn't take it back. The sales associate told the manager that she watched my daughter put it on the stroller and she had witnessed this from her register. Another reason was that it isn't a LIFE brand product so they don't have to return it and finally that the box was clearly open and the product was used and she would have to deal directly with Safety First. They really made it quite clear that they had no compassion for my daughters problem. She left the store feeling discriminated against for being a young mother trying to get her money back. This item was only $16.22 tax included, not a lot of money but at the end of it all they wouldn't even offer her an exchange for a new one. It isn't about the money, It's about being treated with respect and dignity and being a loyal customer a Shoppers Drug Mart. I called to speak with the manager once my almost inconsolable daughter told me what had happened. She refused to give her name and a contact # for Head Office. I will say her attitude toward me was very offensive and I could understand why my daughter was so upset. This manager really should be coached on the return policy and customer service. I'm not saying that every customer is always right but in this reasonable situation, my daughter just wanted to return a defected product sold by Shoppers Drug Mart she didn't need to be emotionally abused by an unprofessional manager and associate.
rude service photo dept.
Apr 14, 2018, I visited your store to be treated rudely by an overly aggressive sales punk who was more interested in packaging than my loyalty to your store for over 30 years. I found no sales people, cashiers had lineups so no help there. USB cord packaging had no info re camera cord or clear window to see if ends fit the camera I had in hand. I was loudly & rudely told not to rip packaging because you couldn't sell the product. I asked the girl (who obviously needs retraining) where on the package was the info I needed & she continued to patronizingly & loudly reprimand me. This girl seems to think customers are all criminals.
employee conduct
Shoppers #610 - 7 Mahogany Heights SE Calgary Alberta - April 13th - approx 6:30pm:
I had parked in the Shoppers parking stall and had intended on meeting my husband at the entrance to do some shopping in the store. He was not out front so I headed across the parking lot to the pub where I thought I could get a better sight on where he could be. That is when I heard a shoppers employee yelling out that I can not park where I was at and go to the pub. I then responded to let her know that I was meeting my husband and we would be heading into the store very shortly. She continued to repeat herself and I then repeated what I had said. At that point I proceeded to walk back towards Shoppers to assure her of my intentions where I was then met by my husband. Seeing this, she still decided to write down my licence plate and berate me again in front of strangers in the parking lot and while entering the store. My husband and I being so embarrassed preceded to do the shopping we needed to do and even lingered in the store longer to avoid anymore attention to ourselves. Now I completely understand why she was protecting the parking stalls as I have been the victim plenty of times when there is no one in the store, but all the stalls are full from people going to the pub across the way. And this is not intended to get the employee in trouble, but to be more mindful. Firstly, she should not be chasing after people in the parking lot when you just don't know how someone could react. She was putting her safety at rick. Secondly, there has got to be a better way to handle the situation. I would rather her of written my licence plate and called a tow truck without saying anything. She then would have seen me enter the store in a matter of minutes and cancelled the call or the tow truck would have come with me shopping in the store. By the end of this 'scene', I was left humiliated in front of strangers in the parking lot, shoppers customers and employees. It ruined my night and I felt like I had done something wrong when all I intended to do was spend my money at the store I love to go to. I feel like I can't even show my face in the store anymore.
photo lab unable to print and rude staff
Friday April 13, 2018 (7:15pm - 8:00pm) I just spent 45 minutes at your location at Fairview Mall in Toronto, and left without a product, and really not happy with the service and staff. I attempted to print a photo at your kiosk. It started off ok, the kiosk worked while I put in the order of my photo to be printed same day, I was then cued for the release code. The staff member had her back to the customers whilst she was on the phone, I eventually got her attention to put in the release code for me, she said to wait and the picture would print. I sat and waited, and waited about 30 minutes (it's my first time using the kiosk so I wasn't sure if this is normal) So I up and asked the staff member at the desk if it was normal to take this long. She said "oh nothing came out yet... then you probably sent it to another printer and it's not working." She was rude and stated that I had to send it to the same printer" Several points here #1- It's my first time using the kiosk #2- As a customer I only know that I've printed something and don't need attitude from a staff member about which printer I picked, the kiosk doesn't give you an option for choosing printers #3- If there was a malfunction with printing that she was aware of, why wasn't I told before I started the process. Really disappointed. Expect much more, I will be going elsewhere when I can.
sold expired product
Sold April 12 at 8:49pm
@1400 Ottawa Street South, Kitchener, Ontario
Bought icecream and PC Chocolate sauce - ate a bowl when home - and when putting away the sauce, realized sauce had an expiration date of February 18, 2018... just under two months ago.
Pretty shocked that store is selling items past their code date.
Is proper rotation not followed or dates checked?
I'm pregnant and after eating, felt quite anxious as I didn't want to get sick.
Ideally, I'd like a refund or credit for poor business practice, plus a replacement.
Thanks,
Very Concerned,
Lauren S.
please contact me.
From Jan 2018 - May.04.2018 I bought medicine from shoppers with prescription from my doctor so many times, with money for my little baby 16 months and now with the new rules everything under 25 years old is free.
Why they don't accept to give me free medicine for my little baby.
Also service very bad

pharmacy, elliot lake
My former guardians, who were extremely abusive, followed me without my permission to snoop on and once again, try to control the conversations with the staff at the pharmacy. Subsequently, I was there to pick up a prescription that I was told was going to be delivered to my apartment at 5. Apparently, they hadn't even prepared my medications, and it was well past the hour they were supposed to be brought to me. I repeatedly told the male pharmacist who was speaking, that the abusive couple were no longer my guardians, I had been independant of them for quite some time, and that I lived seperately from them and had no plans to move back with them. He dismissed everything I said, continued to speak to them about my confidential information which I had previously asked the staff not to share with them. I clearly told him that they had nothing to do with my medical needs and were not to be involved with anything related to my health or any personal matters, and he proceeded to make plans with them, about my medications, that were not approved be me. Keep in mind, I've been independant for 2 years, and he could clearly see the disrespect that was directed towards me through them. This is not the first time there has been an incident like this involving the staff at shoppers drug mart, elliot lake. Another time, after I had told them that I was independant of my guardians and was living in a woman's shelter, they gave my medications to my former guardians, who proceedee to hold them at their house, refusing to hand them over to me, though they rightfully belonged to me.. Honestly I'm getting very tired of this, and if it continues, I will have to get the authorities involved. I do not condone discrimination against anyone, as I face it regularly for my personal problems. I am hoping this will not happen again...

around 7 pm
kotex sale
The cashier was very rude to the point that she treated me, my wife and daughter like we are criminals for using a $3 off coupon if you buy 2 Kotex products. The store provided the coupon and it states per purchase, NOT per customer limit. She looked very discouraged to complete the transaction and made us feel like criminals! A big line up started behind us because of this. Is this the kind of trained cashiers you have in your store? She cannot read the coupon and understand it? She did not even ask me to use my PC points which I have and also did not ask if we needed bags? How rude to carry out 12 packages of Kotex. Store at Panorama is Surrey BC - phone 604-574-1081. reference #[protected] [protected] T. Authorization # 027348. April 9, 2018, time 12:24PM. I will NEVER, EVER shop here again. Worst service ever. I may even have to cancel my optimum card and never shop at any of your stores again.

yesto cotton moisturiser
I bought this moisturiser and when I got home I realised there was no straw for the pump. I went back the next day and the cashier told me that I couldn't exchange or return the product because they have an unopened unused policy. She was being very disrespectful in regards to me telling the truth. The product is defective and I cannot use it at all and I still couldn't exchange it for a new one. The cashier didn't even look at my receipt to see that I had purchased it just the day before. I'm really unhappy with the service I received and the product cost $15 which is a lot of money to waste on something and not able to get refunded.

unethical behaviour
Today, April 5th, 2018, I was told not to come back to the Shoppers Drug Mart. Why? Because I had kept setting off the alarm at the exit doors, despite the fact I have never stolen anything. Now you may be thinking "It's probably just one of your coat tags or something." Normally, I would agree except for one problem: this is a somewhat recent problem. Before the middle of February, I have never had this problem. Even if it was a product I had purchased from another store, the alarm never went off when I passed the exit. But since February, this one incident had become a string of incidents. Each and every time, I was treated like a criminal despite never finding anything to prove I was a shoplifter, especially after I had gone to that store to purchase something. But what really warranted the writing of this complaint is the fact that the manager/ whoever was in charge had banned me from the store because this happens every time I had left the store. Not once did anyone speak of the possibility that maybe their security is not a foolproof as they continue to believe or even try to find some common ground between us to sort this issue out. Instead, the onus is entirely on me and the manager refuses to let me explain my case. No matter how I try to reason with the staff, no matter how many tags I remove from my coat or how many unnecessary I leave at home, this happens every time and I'm always put on the spot and treated like it's entirely my fault. Security measures are one thing, but discourtesy is another. I'm at the end of my rope and I'm tired of being continuously disrespected like this, especially by the manager.
All I want from this miserable experience is an apology from the manager and some common ground for which we can sort this mess out together and find out what's really going on. I want to keep going to this Shoppers Drug Mart, but not if I'm going to be treated with discourtesy and indifference by those who work there.
cashier
I was there today to do a product return. Waited over 10 min on line and the cashier said can't do return system down. I asked why don't post outside your system down.. She yield at me.. Come back another day. I was hurry to work didn't even grab her name but I am sure very easy to track her - very fat white lady. Please coach her soft skills or replace with new hire. There are lot of talent people looking for job.
I was a loyal customer at the Westmount Shoppers drug mart for at least twenty five years. They all new my by name. Never a problem getting a prescription filled. Until about two years ago. Since then It has been nothing short of low skill level staff other then a couple of the originals. Time after time the would not Have my prescription ready when i phoned in . Yes i did give them ample time, They did have my phone number and i So looking back May 31 2017 i stood at the drop off counter. For some reason this lady that was fairly new said i cant you will have to wait a minute. That when i have had enough of her attitude. So another lady offers to help me and i said whats her problem every time i have to deal with her it is an issue. Then she informed me that she was the Pharmacist. So what is that suppose to mean to me? So after a discussion about how the quality of service was lacking and maybe they should work on there customer skills. Her positive response was if you don, t like our service go else were . so i have and yes they know my name if there is a problem with the medication i need the will phone. But the part that sucks is my Doctor sent my prescription to you guys. Today is the 4 th of April i phoned in at ten i am sure of that. Got there At two a gal who could not find any info about me phoning in today wanted to what the name of the meds were. I didnt have the name. So the pharmacist the only one there who did no me couldn, t find any info either like always her quality of service is great. But with out knowing the name she asked me what is it for. Not really big on sharing my personal history with anyone one other then my family doctor . So i told her she looked it up on her screen and figured out what i needed. S o this is a good news bad news story. you guys are probably saving a wack of money using students for free. bad news is They are lacking in customer service poor command of the english language. So for a time your service was well respected the handling of my issues were quite trust worthy but that trust is gone.So keep up the good work.
pharmacy
Due to lack of organization, customer service and professionalism I drive twenty minutes to use a alternative pharmacy due to my several disappointing instances with Kingslake Plaza Shoppers Drugmart Pharmacy in Kingston Ontario. Here are my experiences with this Pharmacy:
1. My husband had a very large kidney stone for 2 months which he ended up having surgery on to remove. Pain management was key with this we came to find out quickly. I immediately dropped his script off and asked it be filled and I would be back in an hour. Upon my return 2h later I am surprised when they can not find my husband scripts. Once they finally locate it I am told it hasn't been filled and it would be another half hour. While I'm upset because I know my husband is in severe pain I understand things happen and patiently wait there.
2.My second experience my husband had a tooth pulled and it was infected. The dentist prescribed him with two medications - which I brought in immediately. They told me an hour so I said I'll come back as I am just around corner. I was flabbergasted when upon my return to pick up the meds they once again could not find the script. The saddest part of all they never found it. I was terrified these people were filling meds but they have lost a script again. I ended up having to attempt to reach my dentist have him fax a new script and wait an additional period of time to get meds for my husband once again who greatly needed them due to pain. I left that night appalled. I even spoke to a manager of the pharmacy department who never returned my call as she said she would.
3. My breaking point was going there the other night and needing a script filled for my endometriosis. The cashier was trying to be helpful the pharmacist was ignorant and not helpful at all. Cashier was making suggestions to pharmacist asking her if they could deliver it over from another store. The pharmacist told her um no tell her to try a different my one. I didn't know shoppers turned away paying customers. I was almost in tears when I left this night as I couldn't understand how a so called established company can continue to provide this appalling and unreliable service. I decided that night I would not stand for this anymore. I drove across town in pain filled my prescription at another pharmacy that night that provided me with lovely and personable service and my meds.
I have made several attempts to reach out to the managers in store and feel ignored. I now see multiple reviews online from people with Kingslake Plaze Shoppers who have had similar experi nices with this location. Especially in regards to loosing scripts - it's unacceptable. They're are people out there who rely on meds (cancer patients etc) I can not even imagine their frustrations.
I wanted to voice my experiences not that I expect anything to be done as I have already made several attempts. However to make it clear this is no way to treat paying customers.
store number:1388
I received the worst service ever tonight. I was told I was being ridiculous for expressing my concerns about providong too many personal information (in an open space with other people listening )for picking up a drug
What broke the camels back was the rude tone at which the employee spoke to me. She needs to be retrained.
